        In this case study, seismic category I class electrical equipment in NPP was manufactured and a modal testing was performed using an impact hammer to measure the dynamic characteristics. In the case of electrical cabinets, various safety related components are mounted in the internal frame. Therefore, FEM model that appropriately reflects the local mode is required. To reflect both global and local mode to FEM model, modal testing should be carried out. For implementing the global mode, accelerometers were installed at twenty-eight points of the outline plate edge, and responses for local mode were measured at seven crucial points and compared those results.

        This research presents effectiveness of fiber-reinforced polymer column jacketing system for a non-ductile reinforced concrete building frame constructed before the 1970s. To investigate the retrofit effects, a series of full-scale dynamic tests for the retrofitted test frame was conducted, and the dynamic responses were compared to those of the non-retrofitted test frame. The effectiveness of the retrofit system was investigated in terms of response reductions, damage mechanisms and drift concentration factors.

        The purpose of this research is to develop nondestructive equipment using magnetic flux leakage(MFL) principle and to confirm the accuracy of the equipment. The equipment consist of a magnetization part, a sensor part, and a data storage part. The parameters of specimens for equipment verification are the length and the area of flaws. It was confirmed that the equipment accurately probed the locations of the flaws in the specimens, and grout had little effect on the results of the test.

        농촌의 변화에 대비하여 농특산품 품질을 향상하기 위해 농업인 역량 범위가 생산에서 가공 및 유통까지 확대되고 있다. 이에 농촌 관련 정부기관을 중심으로 농업인 역량 범위 확대에 속하는 포장 및 브랜드 등 농산물 가치를 높이는 디자인 관련 교육이 한시적으로 운영하고 있으나 한계성이 있으며 체계적인 교육의 요구도가 높다. 이에 본 연구는 이를 참고하여 브랜드 디자인을 중심으로 교육 프로그램을 개발하고자 하며 기초설문을 통해 브랜드 디자인 교육 필요성 및 요구도가 높음을 파악하였으며 이를 참고하여 농업인(10인)과 전문가(10인)로 나누어 심층면담조사를 통해 분석하고 그 결과를 농업인 의견과 전문가 의견으로 비교 분류하여 종합 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 브랜드 디자인 및 교육 전문가 협의회를 구성하여 3회차를 통해 농업인 브랜드 디자인 단계, 수준, 역량 정의, 교육시간, 방식, 커리큘럼, 세부내용 등을 구성하여 실제 활용할 수 있는 농업인 브랜드 디자인 역량 강화 교육 프로그램 및 학습지도안을 개발하였다. 이를 정부기관과 연계하여 시범 적용을 실시하여 실용화하였다.

        The objective of the study is to examine the impact of financial development and foreign remittances on poverty and income inequality in the context of Pakistan. The study used ARDL-Bounds testing approach for robust inferences. The results show that in the short-run, remittances increases poverty and income inequality, which further translated into its long-run impact. The result confirmed the inverted Ushaped relationship between per capita income and income inequality, while the second order coefficient of per capita income substantially decline poverty incidence in a country. In the long-run, the results disappeared and it’s turned into U-shaped relationship between income inequality and country’s per capita income. Education largely decreases income inequality both in the short and long-run, however, it increases poverty in the long-run. Unemployment rate substantially damaged the pro-poor growth scenario, as high unemployment rate increases both the poverty rates and income inequality, which suffered poor more than non-poor in a country. Financial development has a positive impact on poverty reduction and income inequality in the short-run. The impact of income inequality on poverty incidence is positive both in the short- and long-run, which need pro-poor growth policies and rationale income distribution in a country.

        방사선이 다양한 분야에 사용됨에 따라 방사선작업종사자의 수가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 종사자의 안전에 대한 우려도 높아지고 있다. 국내에서는 KISOE 시스템, 발주자보고 등을 통해 종사자의 안전 확보에 주력하고 있다. 선행연구에서는 종사자 및 업체의 안전 확보를 위한 위험성 평가에 피폭선량과 더불어 이외의 항목에 대한 추가적 평가가 효과적일 것이라고 판단하여 평가를 위한 항목들 및 방사형 척도분석 모델을 개발하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2016년 방사선투과검사업체의 자료를 방사형척도분석 모델에 적용하여 실제 업체의 위험성 평가를 수행하였다. 또한 위험성이 낮을 것으로 예상되는 업체 2곳과 위험성이 높을 것으로 예상되는 업체 2곳을 선정하여 위험성 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과에서 예상과 동일한 결과를 얻어 모델의 타당성을 확인할 수 있었다. 전체 56개 업체의 위험성 평가가 수행되었고 업체별 문제점에 따른 개선 및 점검사항을 예측하였다. 본 연구 결과를 방사선투과검사업체 및 규제기관에서 자체 평가 및 규제 기준 등으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

        This paper proposes functional test methods of first-aid gadgets which are special end-effectors, for relief robot. In recent years, researches have been actively conducted on robots that can perform rescue operations on behalf of rescue workers in dangerous areas such as disasters and wars. These special robots mainly perform the task of finding or transporting injured people. However, it is sometimes they necessary to provide first aid in the field. Among the various first-aid operations, gadgets are being developed for oxygen supply, injection, and hemostasis operations that can be used in a defense/civilian area by using robot technology. Previous studies have proposed first-aid gadgets that are suitable for onsite situations and enable robots to perform the given task quickly and accurately. In this paper, we design a test procedure suitable for the functions of first-aid gadgets, summarize the results, and introduce future research directions.

        This paper presents a study on the adhesive strength testing of self-adhesive waterproofing/anti-corrosion sheet used for waterproofing of the large diameter steel pipe interior of water treatment facilities. After the sheet has been applied, similar physical and chemical immersion conditions are simulated in the testing to determine the effects of deterioration through adhesion strength testing.

        This paper aims to develop the AE non-destructive testing equipment and signal analysis method for external tendon of PSC (Pre-Stressed Concrete) bridge. The AE NDT equipment, which has developed in this research, is composed of AE sensor, signal receiver, hitting device, driving part and main frame. Defective and non-defective specimens, designed to emulate signal characteristics for external duct with void(25%, 50% and 100%) or not, were constructed and tested to verify the effectiveness of AE NDT equipment. Test results and AE parameters comparisons between defective and non-defective specimens are presented.

        India is the top recipient of workers’ remittance flows; recent data indicate that the Remittances/GDP ratio has increased from 2.7% in 2000 to 3.36% in 2015. We apply a consumption behavior model, based on the “permanent income hypothesis”, to estimate the consumption augmentation and the stability impact for the period of 1989-2014. The independent variables are: (i) real per capita income (exclusive of remittances) is the measure of “permanent income”, (ii) remittances is the measure of “transitory income”, and (iii) real interest rate as the indicator of consumers’ ability for intertemporal consumption. The economic ramifications are important since current global risk factors could decrease flows in the future. The results indicate the significance of all three variables; there are: (i) evidence of significant consumption augmentation, (ii) consumption responds higher to remittances than to real income, the remittance elasticity is 0.571 and the income elasticity is 0.31, and (iii) evidence of pro-cyclical effect. The VAR model indicates some linkages and causality in the series that result in small response to the shocks. Policies to increase or stabilize remittance flows and to leverage remittances for economic development are important.

        DC/DC switching power converters are commonly used to generate a regulated DC output voltage with high efficiency. The advanced DC/DC converter uses a PWM-IC with OP-Amp. (Operational Amplifier) to control a MOSFET (metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistor), which is a switching component, efficiently. In this paper, it is shown that the electrical characteristics of OP-Amp. are affected by radiations of γ rays using 60Co for TID (Total Ionizing Dose) testing and 5 heavy ions for SEL (Single Event Latch-up) testing. TID testing on OP-Amp. is accomplished up to the total dose of 30 krad, and the cross section(㎠) versus LET(MeV/mg/㎠ ) in the OP-Amp. operation is evaluated SEL testing after implementation of the controller board.

        The safety issue of PSC box Girder Bridge is being brought up to the surface. For countermeasures, we developed an extensive material testing procedures and applied it into our existing bridges. We believe that these set of newly constructed procedures are well within the reasonable mark. With that, we now foresee the necessity in systematic improvement and ample supply of its technology in order to secure the future safety of PSC box girder bridges.

        Robotics-Assisted Bridge Inpection Tool (RABITTM) combines a capability of conventional non-destructive evaluation techniques for condition assessment of concrete bridge decks, including electrical resistivity (ER), ground-penetrating radar (GPR), impact-echo (IE), ultrasonic surface waves (USW), and a high resolution digital camera. In this study, the RABITTM platform was used to evaluate delaminaitons in a concrete bridge deck fabricated in the laboratory.

        Background : This study, the fraction for testing the efficacy of the Astragalus extract was concentrated active ingredient. The concentrated fraction was applied to a cosmetic material that Astragalus testing results confirmed that the improved efficacy. Methods and Results : The fractions were performed using an n-butanol solvent for increasing the efficacy of the Astragalus extract, by using the material fractions collected to compare and ultimately an increase in whitening and wrinkle efficacy. The solvent to be used in the fractions was used for the n-butanol good dissolution to the effective substance(Astragaloside, Isoflavonoid). It increased approximately 6.5 times the sample extract and the n-butanol fraction of the Astragalus as a result Astragaloside 15 ppm, 97 ppm respectively analyzed by HPLC equipment, isoflavonoid content was confirmed by an increase in the content of the fractions increased 4.5 times to 280 ppm, 1,260 ppm. Tyrosinase inhibitory effect, respectively IC50 5.70 mg/mL, IC50 1.02 mg/mL to, Collagenase producing ability is IC50 4.88 mg/mL, IC50 0.93 mg/mL with n-butanol fraction was good whitening, anti-wrinkle efficacy than the extract. Sensory evaluation was conducted in the same amount of sample, using a purified Astragalus cosmetics received high marks. Stability evaluation(MTT assay) was checked for more than 100% cell viability at the concentration 2,000 ppm. Conclusion : n-butanol fraction of Astragalus was subjected to a component analysis and In vitro test, it was confirmed an increase active ingredient content. The results of sensory evaluation and stability evaluation, it was confirmed been made to improve qualities as a cosmetic materials.

        Recently, the concern on the deterioration of concrete pavement due to de-icing salts and its counter measurements has been increased. Especially, a scaling phenomenon of concrete is defined as a general loss of surface mortar or mortar surrounding the coarse aggregate particles on a concrete surface. This problem is typically caused by the expansion of water due to freezing and thawing cycles and the use of de-icing chemicals. This paper discusses the testing conditions of freezing-thawing and scaling resistance.

        Waterproofing materials applied in underground structures are commonly exposed to environmental factors such as rain water, vibration, structural movement. Particularly in the case of rain waters, the pollutants and chemical substances penetrate into the waterproofing layer surface and cause complex degradation. Approaching this problem with only conventional leakage preventative measures may prove difficulties in solving it. In this regard, 3 dimensional material evaluation methods (waterproofing system structure) should be employed over 2 dimensional methods, and a testing method that allows the simultaneous testing of various degradation conditions found in underground environments is necessary.

        본 연구의 목적은 자기공명영상을 이용하여 외국인 환자를 검사할 때 언어의 소통을 위하여 자동음성시 스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 자동음성을 위해 사용된 문장은 병원에서 자주 사용하고 있는 12개의 문장과 5개의 외국어를 선택하였다. 이러한 번역된 문장은 Oddcast’s website로 부터 무료로 제공되며 Wav 파일로서 각 언어 특징에 소리로 기록하게 된다. 기록된 오디오 파일은 Mobile phone 환경에서 적용되는 PHP 프로그램을 사용하여 MS-파워포인트(extension; ppsx) 와 Web-enabled system 형태로 재생하게 된다. 음성 시스템 개발은 방사선사에게 언어 소통의 어려움에 관하여 스트레스를 해소될 것이며, 다양한 언어로 설계된 자동음성시스템은 외국인 환자를 검사 할 때 환자에게 진단적 정보를 증가시킬 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 개발된 음성 시스템은 한국의 방사선사와 외국인 환자 사이에서 검사의 이해를 증가시킬 수 있기 때문에 임상실무에서 더욱더 유용하게 이용될 것이라고 기대된다.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test a 2×2 model of perfectionism among dancers. Methods: Dancers(N=538, male=95, female=443) completed measures of multidimensional perfectionism(self oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism), cognitive appraisals(challenge and threat), emotion regulations(reappraisal and suppression). Results: Moderated hierarchical regression and simple slope analysis indicated that dance majors with pure self oriented perfectionism were related to higher emotion regulation(reappraisal and suppression) than dance majors with non perfectionism. Dance majors of mixed perfectionism were related to higher challenge(cognitive evaluation), emotion regulation(reappraisal and suppression) than dance majors of pure socially prescribed perfectionism. Furthermore, dance majors of were associated with higher levels of threat(cognitive evaluation) than dance majors with pure self oriented perfectionism. Conclusion: The results of this study partially support the predictions of the 2×2 model of perfectionism in dance.
