        현장조사 결과 패드-팬 시스템의 경우 6개 농가 모두 사용하고 있었으며, 온실 내기온은 외부기온보다 2~5℃ 낮았다. 이시스템의 냉방효율은 평균 77.4% 이었으며, 외부의 상대습도가 60%이하 일 경우 냉방 효율이 높았다. 포그 시스템의 경우 현장조사에서 9농가 중 6농가가 사용을 못할 정도로 많은 문제점이 발견되었다. 포그입경, 분무수량, 운영 방법등 개선해야 할 사항이 많았다. 실험온실의 경우도 노즐의 설치 위치와 제어방법에서 문제점이 발견되었다. 포그입자가 커 증발하지 못하고 대부분이 바닥과 차광망으로 낙하하였고, 지역 기상조건을 고려하지 못한 제어방법으로 냉방효과를 떨어뜨리고 있었다. 냉방효과를 높이가 위하여 노즐의 위치 선정, 제어방법에 대한 연구가 수행되어야 하며, 지역적 기상특성을 고려한 연구와 내부 습도를 낮게 유지하는 연구도 수행되어야 할 것이다.

        An emphasized analysis and reviews on the progress of pesticide managements for the past 10 years through the statistics in Korea are summarized in this continued studies in connection with the fundmental aspects and direction of advanced pesticide industry and improved plantprotection policies for 1980's. Remarkable development and changes are observed in the plant species and varieties, plantation practices and production techniques as well as pest infestations and controls in the last decade, but no normal achievement and operations are recognised on the pesticide management and marketing system especially. Realistic plant protection adminstration and pesticide regulations in accordance to the industrial modernization and pest management advancement must be adjusted in accordance with national economic progress and desirable agricultural structure for 1980's. Special considerations are stated on the strengthening of research and inspection program for the quality products and control with the efficacy and safety use of pesticides. More serious attentions are noted on the over production and flooded stocks under struggled market demands and sales competitions with lethal financial difficulties by producers. Through the status analyzed for the last decade, the integrated past management and cooperative basic control pattern under positive self-forecasting system by farmers are also urged for the effective and economic pest control measures. The problems and solutions discussed here ell the advanced pesticide management as well as the cooperation on the self-ordered quality control and market managing systems in 1980's as it is a desired projection for the further improvement. Most of outstanding and necessary statistics and data in the past decade are also summarized here for references in connection with the previous report.

        In the winter season, a many problems such as water leaks, icicles, etc. has occurred by freezing phenomenon at the road tunnels. Therefore, in order to reduce property damage caused by cold environment, it is necessary to establish a mechanism of freezing and thawing of tunnel structures. In this study aims to introduce the method for freeze damage reduction and suggest the plan for practical use of it.

        In this study, we sought to identify primary pears species and Korean native pears, without the use of morphological characteristics. In addition, this study was to establish pear DNA fingerprinting data for Korean native pears using 12 microsatellite markers, and to accurately classify a database for management of the Korean pear collection. Forty two pear accessions (7 primary pears, 5 Asian pears, 29 Korean pears, and 2 reference pears) were analyzed with twelve primers covering whole pear genome. In the present study, all pear accessions were successfully classified along with their pedigrees, and the distribution of primary pears was parallel to those of the previous taxonomic results. Korean pears were divided into 3 groups. Group I was characterized by Pyrus calleryana, and included Korean pea pears. Group II was characterized by P. pyrifolia, and was classified into 2 small groups. The first small group comprised of ‘Najucheongbae’, ‘Sunchanggulimdolbae’, ‘Andongmookbae’, ‘Andongdangsilri’, and ‘Najucheongbae’ and was presumed to be cultivars of P. pyrifolia. The second small group consisted of ‘Cheongdangrori’ and ‘Pyeongchangsuhyangri’. These two accessions were assumed to be a hybrid of P. pyrifolia and the other cultivar. Group III was characterized by P. ussuriensis. ‘Goesanhwangbae’, ‘Andongcheongsilri’, ‘Gongjucheongsilri’, and ‘Yecheoncheongbae’ were assumed to be cultivars of P. ussuriensis. Contrary to ‘Ulreungdocheongbae A’, ‘Ulreungdocheongbae B’ was classified as belonging to the P. ussuriensis group. It is possible that this is a consequence of, P. ussuriensis genes being transferred into ‘Ulreungdocheongbae B’. The result of this research reaffirmed the efficiency of a standard set of microsatellite markers and provides data, which will be useful for developing a core collection of pears.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate properties of meaning of color-complex words in Korean. Korean colors are different from Western's colors. Because korean pure colors are calm and static. Moreover the korean language expressed as a variety of sensory and delivers various meaning. In the general living environment it is recognized as individual experience and their decisions are based on the brain. In addition, the our cultural life is reflected on the language and Color saturation, especially in a language. By the language we feel sensitive and by looking at these colors we can analyze the color-complex words. Furthermore the color-complex words means usually 'colored' and express the meaning 'Character'. That is the nature of light which is a word that means the diverse nature of life and beauty. Well, above mentioned the color-complex words are applicable to the current color trend 'wellness', 'organic' and can be applied to eco-friendly brand that can take advantage of it. I am planning to show you how one color represents korean color-complex words. And It is characterized by the circumstances and conditions, colorful representation. As a consequence the design for contemporary brand can be applied to naming and advertising strategy.

        The vegetated porous pavement can be installed as an alternative way to replace the traditional pavement, which contributes less to the water circulation system in the urban area. This study aims to an investigation based on the shadow and pressure of the vehicle system, where the turfgrass get grown and the green block get constructed on the grassy parking lot. This study might achieve these conclusions, in the case of use ‘green block’ makes grass parking lot, plant a kind of ‘zenith’ and takes sod thickness 40 mm are more efficient for turfgrass growth in the early times. In the case of parking over 8 hours in a day, after 5 weeks turfgrass growth would come into reduce. So over 4 hours parking and after 9 weeks, we need consider to setting up green block in grassy parking lot. The grassy ground would get pressured by the vehicles’ load and it would bring into some damage due to the load after 3 weeks. So we should put the grass’s growth root point under the designed a top of ‘green block’ level. When the vehicle amounts and parking density is in a low level, it could be an environmentally friendly product.

        A practical and efficient disposal method for chemical dechlorination of PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) in transformer oil was evaluated. The transformer oil containing PCBs was treated by the PEG 600 (polyethylene glycol 600) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) along with different reaction temperatures(25, 50, 100 and 150oC) and times(30, 60, 240 and 480 min). The best disposal efficiency of PCBs in transformer oil was attained under the experimental conditions of PEG 600 (2.5 w/w%)/KOH (2.5 w/w%)/150oC/4 hrs, showing completely removal of all PCBs containing 3-9 chlorines on two rings of biphenyl. In studying the reaction of PEG/KOH with PCBs, it confirmed that the process led to less chlorinated PCBs through a stepwise process with the successive elimination of chlorines.

        80, 90년대의 영화에서만 보아오던 가상현실이 과학 및 컴퓨터 기술의 비약적인 발전을 바탕으로 우리에게 가까이 다가오고 있다. 다양한 가상현실 시스템 (VRML, HMD, FishTank, Wall Type, CAVE Type)의 개발과 함께 그 시스템의 발전으로 더욱 현실감 있는 가상현실 구현이 가능해지고 있다. 몰입감이 높은 가상 현실은 이로써 사람들이 일상적으로 경험하기 어려운 환경을 직접 체험하지 않고서도 그 환경에 들어와 있는 것처럼 보여주고 조작할 수 있게 해주는 것이다. 가상현실의 응용분야로는 교육, 고급 프로그래밍, 원격조작, 원격위성 표면탐사, 탐사자료 분석, 과학적 가시화(scientific visualization)등을 들 수 있다. 구체적인 예로서, 탱크 및 항공기의 조종법 훈련, 가구의 배치 설계, 수술 실습, 게임 등 다양하다. 이런 가상현실 시스템에서는 인간 참여자의 실제조작과 가상 작업공간이 하드웨어로 상호 연결된다. 이렇게 상호 연결된 하드웨어로 인간의 오감을 적절하게 자극하여 몰입감을 더하여 준다. 아직 많은 부분이 모자라지만 많은 연구와 노력으로 빠른 시간 안에 거의 인간이 느낄 수 있는 느낌을 가상현실에서도 현실과 같이 느낄 수 있을 것이다. 이 논문에서는 가상현실시스템의 기본적인 정의와 개념 그리고 종류를 알아보고 그 중에서 몰입감이 뛰어난 CAVE형의 가상현실시스템에 대하여 개념분석을 하였고 다음으로 2003년 KISTI(한국과학기술정보연구원)에서 만들어진 경복궁(문화 원형 Content)을 가상현실시스템에서 복원 과정을 Design process를 거쳐 제작되는 과정을 통해 가상현실시스템에서의 VR프로그래밍 방법과 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 몰입형 가상현실 시스템의 활용성에 대해 알아보았고 지금 시점에서 이러한 CAVE형 가상현실 시스템의 활용방안에 대하여 연구해 보았다. 끝으로 가상현실시스템을 활용한 문화재 복원 과정에서 나타난 문제점에 대하여 서술 하고 가상 현실 시스템의 활용 방안을 제시한다.
