공지영의 『도가니』는 구별짓기와 차별의 문제를 고발하고 있다. 그리고 작 품에 대한 대부분의 선행 연구들은 장애인에게 가해진 학대와 폭력을 현실 비 판적 관점에서 다루고 있다. 그러나 작품 속에 나오는 장애에 대한 심층적 해석 은 장애인 당사자들의 입장에서 장애의 문제를 살펴봄으로써 가능하다. 장애인 들은 신체적 혹은 지적 장애로 인하여 자신들만의 독특한 삶의 경험을 가질 수 밖에 없고, 따라서 사회에서 의사소통을 하는 데에 특별한 방식을 취할 수밖에 없다. 하지만 작품 속에 나오는 많은 비장애인들은 장애인에 대한 비합리적 의 사소통 방식을 보여주고 있다. 다수의 종교인들 역시 종교 공동체의 명분과 안 위를 최우선의 가치로 설정함으로써 사회문제에 대하여 비합리적 태도를 견지 한다. 부도덕 사회에서 비장애인들의 비합리적인 의사소통 방식 그리고 종교는 장애인의 합리적 의사소통을 가로막는 사회적 장벽으로 작동하고 있다. 『도가 니􋺸는 장애담론을 바탕으로 의사소통에 있어서 보편청중의 역할을 강조하는 동 시에 인간 존엄성의 궁극적 가치를 문학적 비전으로 제시하고 있다. 따라서 욕 망의 극대화를 최우선적 목표로 설정하는 자본주의 사회에서 장애담론은 인간 존엄성 회복을 위한 대항담론으로서의 가치를 지닐 수 있다.

The space environment is unique. Natural decay of debris therein is much slower than pollutants in other environments, so that removal is difficult and expensive. Despites the voluntary implementation of mitigation guidelines, the amount of debris has surged in the last two decades due to increase and diversification of space actors, and the continuing militarization of space. Active Debris Removal has thus become a promising responsive scenario. This article examines key legal barriers to the implementation of removal, such as the lack of legal definition of space debris, ambiguities surrounding the jurisdiction and control over space debris, liability for possible damages caused in removal, and implications for space arms control. It further proposes that more comprehensive registration of space objects, an international catalogue of space debris and an international fund for removal should be promoted. Also, international cooperation should be enhanced to cope with space debris, while space arms control should be strengthened.

A finite element simulation study was performed to determine influences of different post spaces and thicknesses of crash barriers on the dynamic behaviors due to truck crash. Accuracy of the simulation was verified using qualitative and quantitative comparisons. Based on in-depth examination of crash simulation recordings, energy distributions occurred in the barrier against the car are determined. In this paper, the existing finite element crash analysis of barriers using the LS-DYNA program is further extended to study the dynamic response of the barrier with various geometries of the guardrail. The numerical results for various parameters are verified by comparing different models.

This study present an integrative model incorporating key consumer characteristics (shopping motivations, need for touch, and perceived risk) as drivers/barriers of e-commerce in the footwear industry. An online survey was conducted using a sample of 4,203 customers of a global footwear retailer. The model was validated across cultural/gender segments.

Restaurants implement menu labeling to provide nutritional information to customers in an attempt to help customers select healthy menu items. Considering the increase in food-away-from-home consumption, the purpose of this study was to identify motivators and barriers in restaurant customers regarding use of menu labeling. Data were collected from a survey on restaurant customers in Seoul, Korea. The findings of this study indicate that customers used menu labeling for health reasons. However, barriers to using menu labeling were identified as small font size, difficulty in locating nutritional information display, and difficulty in interpreting nutritional information. In addition, they also suggested expanding the scope of menu labeling for restaurants by including chain restaurants with less than 100 units. The findings of this study offer strategies for the government to improve menu labeling practices for customers.

Regional education experts from various developing countries (Bangladesh, Nepal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, The Gambia) of west Africa and Asia-Pacific regions and experts in ICT in education from Korea cooperated to analyze the current situation of ICT utilization for schools in developing countries. From their research and reflections of participants' countries situation following things are recommended to be considered with priorities. Firstly, the expected problems and difficulties of introducing ICT in developing country schools from six levels including (teachers level, schools level and communities level). Then, solutions thereto are derived for the following six aspects: motivation of teachers, awareness building, Funds, ICT training for teachers, ICT equipment for the teachers, transparency and accountability.

The subject study was targeted towards nutrition teacher (dietitian) of elementary, middle, and high schools in Seoul areal. In addition, this study was to investigate the current status of school foodservice securement facilities & equipments and to analyze the obstructive factors for executing the HACCP system. The aim of this study was to provide base-line data so that a more efficient & effective sanitary management system for school foodservise can be settled in. All surveys were distributed and collected via email. A total of 305 survey papers were collected and out of these, 300 school results were analyzed and the results are as follows. The order of the securement facilities & equipment furnished were pre-handing equipments>washing>cooking>inspection>facilities>storage>space area>distribution equipments. The awareness of obstructive factors in executing the HACCP system was a total of 3.17 points and the order was as follows. The general obstructive factors>obstructive factors in the cooking staff executing the HACCP system>collaboration between the school/team leaders and the budget supporting department>obstructive factors in the nutrition teacher (dietitian) executing the HACCP system. School foodservice securement facilities & equipments in Seoul area must be renovated and modernized so as to improve its current situation. Furthermore, leadership programs are necessary to enhance nutritionists' understanding of the HACCP system and the cooking staff's competencies in instructing and supervising.

본 연구는 쇼핑 환경을 구성하는 물리적 환경이 소비자의 감정적 반응 및 행동반응에 미치는 영향을 규명함으로써 고객의 심리 상태에 부합하는 매장 환경 연출을 위한 단서를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위해 연구가설을 도출하고 설문지에 의한 자료를 수집하여 구조방정식모형에 의해 실증분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 점포의 물리적 환경은 디자인 요인, 주변요인, 사회요인으로, 소비자의 물리적 환경에 대한 감정적 반응은 긍정적 감정과 부정적 감정으로 분류되는 다차원 개념이다. 둘째, 점포의 물리적 환경은 소비자의 긍정적 감정에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 물리적 환경에 대한 긍정적 감정은 소비자의 전환장벽과 충성도 형성에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 넷째, 점포에 대한 전환장벽 형성은 고객 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 이와 같은 결과는 소비자에게 호의적으로 연출된 점포의 물리적 환경은 긍정적 감정을 유발하며, 이는 점포에 대한 전환장벽 및 충성도 형성에 중요한 요인으로 작용함을 시사한다.

This paper seeks to present, discuss, and analyze the differences as well as the similarities between English and Korean. It is generally agreed that the categories of culture differ across different types of societies and cultures. It is also believed that Western culture differs from Eastern culture. So we tend to think that people in a different culture speak differently, eat differently, wear differently, and interact differently from those in another culture. But it is not necessarily and not always true. I prove this by focusing on how people in a different culture speak a different language without knowing that they actually use the same expressions as those in another culture use. I will deal not only with cultural barriers due to the differences between English and Korean but also with how to work out the problems through the similarities between the two languages.

국내 지침에 의하면 성능기준에 적합한 노측용 방호울타리만이 도로 현장에 설치될 수 있다. 그러나 공용중인 고속도로 노측의 상당 구간에는 지침 개정 이전에 설치된 성능이 미흡한 기존 구형 가드레일이 설치되어 있어서 고속도로 운전자의 안전을 위협하고 있다. 구형 가드레일은 전국의 고속도로에 약 2,777km가 설치되어 있으며 일률적으로 동시에 모든 구간의 가드레일을 교체하기란 예산상 어려움이 많아 최소한의 보강을 통해 국내 지침에 만족스럽게 보강개선된 가드레일을 개발하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서는 LS-DYNA 3D를 이용한 충돌시뮬레이션과 실물차량 충돌시험을 통해 철재 노측용 가드레일 보강방안(SB1, 3, 5등급)을 개발하였고 개발된 가드레일 보강개선방안은 차량의 충돌 및 이탈사고의 심각성을 감소시켜 도로의 안전도를 개선, 향상시킬뿐만 아니라 많은 예산절감을 기대할 수 있다.

This paper addresses barriers to participatory culture by examining the activities and concerns of twenty-eight undergraduate students enrolled in a social media course. Analysis of self-reported activities related to four dimensions of participatory culture literacy as outlined by Jenkins et al. (2009) revealed that many do not fully engage in participatory culture. While the barriers identified included mention of access issues or a lack of knowledge, most of the concern was with affective issues, including privacy concerns and the perception that they have nothing useful to contribute (or that their contributions will not be welcomed). It is recommended that instructional activities focus on building affective competencies related to participatory culture.

With the recent rapid growth of RFID technologies, the Application of RFID systems into the medical or the military industries as well as into the distribution and logistics industry are now attempted continuously. The government and private sectors plan to carry out various small and large scale projects related to RFID systems. However, many companies attempting to apply RFID systems applications into their organizations are encountering many several difficulties because of the lack of installation experience and the absence of an useful guideline. This paper focuses on identification and classification of typical barriers to the successful application of RFID systems according to the five-step method of system application process. Moreover a "barrier map" is produced by conducting a survey and interviews by specialists. In addition, a practical guideline to overcome such barriers is presented and discussed.

모의지하수중에서 가압경수로형 사용후핵연료로부터 세슘의 침출률에 미치는 공학적 방벽 영향을 규명하기 위하여 지난 약 6년간 벤토나이트 또는 금속시편등의 존재여부에 따라 침출시험을 수행하였다. 침출률은 시간이 경과함에 따라 지수함수적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 적정시간이 경과한 다음부터는 일정한 값에 수렴하는 경향을 나타내었다. 벤토나이트 또는 금속시편이 있을 경우 세슘의 누적누출분률은 선형적으로 증가하였으나, 이들이 없는 경우의 누적분률은 급격히 증가한 다음 서서히 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 이 누적분률에서 갭에 존재하는 세슘의 재고량을 제한 값은 공학적 방벽이 존재하는 경우의 누적분률에 거의 근접하였다. 이러한 결과들은 사용후핵연료 중 세슘의 초기누출분률은 갭 중 세슘의 재고량에 의존하지만, 세슘의 장기침출률은 공학적 방벽에 거의 영향을 받지 않음을 암시해 주고 있다. 그러나 세슘의 초기침출률은 공학적 방벽의 지연효과로 감소될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 처분장에서 사용후핵연료 중 세슘의 장기침출률은 를 넘지않는 범위 내에서 일정한 값을 가질 것이다.
