        정전기 문제에 대한 연속체 기반 설계 민감도 해석(DSA) 방법을 해석적으로 유도하였다. 고차 항을 포함한 목적 함수를 고려하기 위해 해석 및 DSA 방법을 위해 9 노드 유한요소법 기반 함수를 형상 함수로 사용하였다. 최적화 과정에서의 설계 변수를 B- 스플라인 함수로 매개 변수화하여 비현실적인 형상이 아닌 부드러운 경계를 가진 최적 형상을 얻을 수 있었다. 유한요소법을 이용한 최적화 과정에서 일반적으로 발생하는 메쉬 얽힘 문제를 해결하기 위해 메쉬 균일화 기법을 사용하였 다. 이 기법은 디리쉴릿 에너지 범함수를 최소화함으로써 메쉬 균일성을 자동으로 얻을 수 있게 한다. 몇 가지 수치 예제들 을 통해 DEP 힘을 최대화하기 위한 평행판의 최적 형상을 얻어낸다. 이를 기존에 실험적으로 검증된 평행판의 최적 형상과 비교하여 그 특성을 논의하였다.

        본 논문에서는 체계적인 설계법을 통해 다중 빔 형성을 위한 빔 분배기의 설계를 소개한다. 본 연구의 목표는 산란하는 마이크로파를 다중 방향으로 진행하는 빔으로 변환시키는 빔 분배기를 설계하는 것이다. 기존의 이론 기반 접근법으로는 불 특정 방향으로의 다중 빔 분배가 어렵다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 기존의 이론 기반 접근법인 변환광학 이론이 아닌 체계적인 설계 방법인 페이즈 필드 설계법을 통해 최적의 빔 분배기 구조를 설계하였다. 목적함수는 각 방향으로 특정 지점의 전기 장 세기의 표준값을 최대화로 설정하였다. 섬 형상의 구조를 피하고 하나의 연결된 구조를 얻기 위해 증강된 라그랑지안을 사용하여 체적 제약조건을 설정하였다. 목표 주파수는 X-band의 주파수 대역의 10GHz이다. 설계된 최적 형상의 빔 분배기는 다중 빔 형성 성능을 잘 보였고, 목표 영역에 전달되는 전기 에너지는 증가하였다. 또한 설계가 유효한 주파수 대역을 평가하기 위해 X-band 대역에 대해 주파수 대역 성능 평가를 수행하였다.

        Carboxylated multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-COOH) was functionalized with 3-amino-5-phenylpyrazole (MWCNTs- f) and characterized by FTIR, EDX, SEM, XRD and TGA. The MWCNTs-COOH and MWCNTs-f were used for the adsorption of Cd(II), Hg(II), and As(III) ions from aqueous solutions. Additionally, to study the influence of pH, adsorbent dose, and initial ions concentration on the adsorption process, the central composite design (CCD) was applied. The quadratic model was used for analysis of variance and indicated that adsorption of metal ions strongly depends on pH. Timedependent adsorption can be described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, and adsorption process was modeled by Langmuir isotherm for the adsorbents. Thermodynamic analysis showed that the adsorption of Cd(II), Hg(II) and As(III) ions were spontaneous and endothermic. Moreover, the competitive adsorption capacities of the heavy metal ions were slightly lower than noncompetitive ones. The same affinity order was observed under noncompetitive and competitive adsorption: As(III) > Cd(II) > Hg(II) in the case of MWCNTs-f. Desorption study revealed the favorable regeneration ability of adsorbents powders, even after three adsorption–desorption cycles.

        본 연구는 전기자동차 충전시스템에서 전력변환장치의 경량화를 위한 최적화 분석프로세스에 대한 내용을 서술하였다. 최적화 설계는 재료 물성치에 대한 설계민감도와 수학적 최적화를 결합하여 주어진 재료량 제한조건 하에 최적의 재료분포를 찾는 설계기법으로 위상의 고정화, 자유도가 묶이는 문제 등을 해결할 수 있는 위상 최적화방법을 사용하였으며, 위상 최적화 방법 중 비교적 수식화가 간단하고 수렴성이 좋은 SIMP법(solid isotropic material with penalization)에 의해 경량화 설계를 수행하였다. 경량화 설계는 3단계의 절차로 구성하였으며, 첫 번째 단계로 전력변환장치의 기본 설계에 대한 유한요소모델을 구성하고, 하중에 대한 정적해석을 수행하였다. 두 번째 단계로 정적해석 결과에 대해 등방성 재료의 강성계수를 적용한 밀도법을 이용하여 위상 최적화를 수행하여 경량화를 위한 최적 형상을 도출하였다. 세 번째 단계로 최적 형상에 대해 차량 탑재 부품의 충격시험기준에 만족하는 반정현파 펄스형태 충격하중을 인가하여 충격해석을 수행하였다. 위상 최적화단계에서 사용 환경조건으로 설계영역 정의는 마운팅 브래킷 영역으로 제한하였으며, 마운팅 브래킷의 설계 최적화를 통해 최종적으로 기본설계대비 20%이상의 경량화가 가능한 설계기술을 확보하였다.

        This research was conducted to elucidate the optimum conditions for the antibacterial activity of konjak jelly using the evolutionary operation-factorial design technique. In the first set of experiments, concentration of a coagulation agent, soaking liquid, and temperature of water were set to 0.4%, 0.6×10-2 N, and 65℃ as a central point, respectively. The highest antibacterial activity was acquired at E21, in which the number of bacteria was 1.25 log cfu/g. Because the code of changes in the main effect was (-), it could be decided that the central point of the first set was not the optimum point. Although antibacterial activity in the second set was improved, the values of the main effect were higher than that of changes in the mean effect. The central point of third set was concentration of coagulation agent 0.8%, concentration of soaking liquid 1.0×10-2 N, and temperature of water 65℃. It was found that the antibacterial activity of central point in the third set was highest among all the tested set. Further, all the necessary conditions were appropriate to reach the optimum condition. The antibacterial activity of the central point in third set was more than 1,000 times higher than that of E11, in first set.

        기존의 한방향 펌프는 순환과 배수를 위해 각각의 모터를 사용하지만, 양방향 펌프는 하나의 모터로 모터의 회전 방향에 따라 배수와 순환이 모두 가능하므로 원가절감이 가능하다. 하지만 양방향 펌프는 배수와 순환 시 펌프 케이싱 내부에서 역류와 흡입이 발생하여 유입된 물이 각각 배출구와 순환구로 원활하게 유출되지 못하는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 주효과 분석을 통해 배출과 순환 시 유출되는 유량과 토크에 주요한 영향을 미치는 인자를 설계변수로 선택하여 실험계획법, 근사 모델, 그리고 최적설계를 통해 펌프 케이싱 형상을 최적화함으로써 역류와 흡입은 개선하고 펌프의 토크 대비 배출구와 순환구의 유량을 증가시키는 효과를 거두었다.

        The object of research is based on 1.5 MW wind turbine blade. This paper has carried out the aerodynamic shape optimization design of wind turbine blade. Based on the aerodynamic basic theory of wind turbine blade design and combined with particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO), the design optimization model of the aerodynamic shape of blade is established. Through this study, the optimization results of the angle inducing ′ and tangential inducing  were obtained. The calculation programs are written and calculated chord length and torsion angle of the blade used by ′ and . The calculation result for the optimized wind turbine was 1.38 MW when the wind speed was 16 m/s. The 8 % error could be considered as an engineering acceptable error and the calculated values can be proved the correctness of the design value.

        해양구조물 등에서 해상 현장과 육상시설 사이에 물자나 운용 인력을 수송하기 위한 수단으로 헬리콥터가 주로 이용된다. 헬리데크는 헬리콥터가 해양구조물에 착륙하기 위해 필수적으로 탑재되는 구조물로서, 해양구조물의 종류나 탑재되는 위치 등에 따라 다양한 형태의 헬리데크가 존재한다. 그 중에서 캔틸레버식 헬리데크는 해양구조물의 탑사이드 공간 확보에 용이 하며, 헬리콥터와의 충돌 등의 미연의 사고로부터 보다 안전하다. 본 논문에서는 캔틸레버식 헬리데크를 연구대상으로 선정 하고, 이를 구성하고 있는 하부 트러스 구조에 대해서 위상 최적설계를 적용하였다. 또한 상용 구조해석 프로그램을 이용하 여 유한요소 모델을 생성하고, 다양한 착륙 상황과 풍하중을 적용하여 구조해석을 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 헬리데크의 각 구조 부재에 발생하는 응력이 사용 재료의 허용응력을 넘지 않도록 부재의 세부 단면 치수를 결정하여, 보다 안전하면서도 경량화된 헬리데크 설계를 얻을 수 있다.

        This study presents a sustainable design method to optimize the embodied energy and CO2 emission complying with the design code for reinforced concrete column. The sustainable design method effectively achieves the minimization of the environmental load and energy consumption whereas the conventional design method has been mostly focused on the cost saving. Failure of reinforced concrete column exhibits compressive or tensile failure mode against an external force such as flexure and compression; thus, optimization analyses are conducted for both failure modes. For the given sections and reinforcement ratios, the optimized sections are determined by optimizing cost, embodied energy, and CO2 emission and various aspects of the sections are thoroughly investigated. The optimization analysis results show that 25% embodied energy and 55% CO2 emission can be approximately reduced by 10% increase in cost. In particular, the embodied energy and CO2 emission were more effectively reduced in the tensile failure mode rather than in the compressive failure mode. Consequently, it was proved that the sustainable design method effectively implements the concept of sustainable development in the design of reinforced concrete structure by optimizing embodied energy consumption and CO2 emission.

        Purple-fleshed potato powder (PFPP) was investigated to determine optimal mixing ratio with milk powder and dextrin to produce a ready-to-eat mashed potato powder. The rheological characteristics, color, and anthocyanin contents were studied at a different concentration of ingredients. The power-law model was applied to explain the mechanical spectra of mashed potatoes which represented the change in structure induced by different mixing ratios. Mixture design was used to obtain the experimental points used to establish the empirical models to describe the effects of each ingredient on the characteristic of the mashed potato. The results of mechanical spectra showed that both storage and loss moduli (G' and G'') were significantly influenced by PFPP and milk powder concentration. The power law parameters n' and n'' showed higher values for the mashed potato with a lower concentration of PFPP and a higher concentration of milk powder, which showed that the gel networks involved in the mashed potato were weaker. The optimum mixing ratio with the highest redness and anthocyanin content, while maintaining the rheological properties similar to the commercial mashed potato, was determined as PFPP:milk powder:dextrin = 90.49:4.86:4.65 (w/w). The proportions of PFPP and milk powder in the formulation significantly changed the characteristics of mashed potato, whereas no significant effect of dextrin was observed in this formulation.

Dough mixed with yeast, margarine, salt, sugar and wheat flour was prepared by fermentation process. Hardness, cohesiveness and springiness of dough were selected as critical quality attributes. The critical formulations (yeast and water) and process (fermentation time) variables were selected as critical input variables based on preliminary experiment. Box-Behnken design (BBD) was used as RSM. As a result, the quardratic, the squared and the linear model respectively provided the most appropriate fit (R2>90) and had no significant lack of fit (p>0.05) on critical quality attributes (hardness, cohesiveness and springiness). The accurate prediction of dough characteristics was possible from the selected models. It was confirmed by validation that a good correlation was obtained between the actual and predicted values. In conclusion, the methodologies using RSM in this study might be applicable to the optimization of fermented foods containing various wheat flour and yeast.

        In this paper, it is covered in detail the process of generating structural alternatives with geometry change and its optimization by StrAuto. The main roof structure of the Exhibition Center is modelled parametrically and the optimal alt is derived by observing volume changes according to geometry change of main roof truss. Existing studies performed optimization process through sections and properties due to the limitations of shape change, but this study have meaning of performing the optimization with geometry changes which is the most critical skills of StrAuto. By the process of securing a sufficient margin by geometry changes and reducing volume with the optimization of sections, despite of a partial optimization of large space structure, it could be reduced by 11.7% of the total volume.

The calculation programs are written by use of MATLAB and calculate chord length and torsion angle of the blade. Then the shape of wind turbine blade is obtained. As research we can know that the chord length is decreased after optimization design of wind turbine blade, The optimized blade not only meets the actual manufacturing requirement, but also has the largest wind energy utilization coefficient.
