        An experimental study was conducted to examine for the structural behavior of coupled steel plate shear wall (Coupled SPSW) system what is formed by connection the two steel plate shear walls (SPSW) with a coupling beam. The variable of this study was the length of coupling beam. The testing results were showed that the strength and stiffness of specimen with shorter coupling beam were improved than those of other specimen. However there is no difference of the yielding mechanism.

        The purpose of this study was to improve the buckling strength of steel plate shear wall system. The variable of this study was arrangement and aspect ratio of steel plate. The arrangement of continuity and both sides were compared. And the aspect ratio 1.3 and 0.8 were compared. As a result, there was no significant difference between the arrangement of continuity and both sides, and it was observed that there was no significant difference of behavior when the aspect ratio was decreased.

        In this study, we performed a series of experimental studies on the effect of tie-bars and steel-plate strength on the impact resistance of SC walls. A total of 8 impact tests were planned to investigate the impact resistance performance of SC walls at the extreme performance testing center of Seoul National University in Korea. The specimens were designed with the main test parameters of yield strength of steel plate and tie-bars. The results from this study will be used to improve and optimize the AISC N690 design equation for SC walls.

        This study introduces abnormal noise phenomenon of steel deck plate bridge which have not been mentioned in the literature or reports. The abnormal noise occurred from the time when the girder was installed and the welding was completed. And it had continued after the bridge opened. In this study, firstly, the characteristics of abnormal noise is analyzed. Also it presents the mechanism of noise generation.

        최근 거푸집 작업과 철근 배근 공정을 생략하여 공정의 단순화를 통한 공기단축 합성 슬래브 시스템의 개발 연구가 진행 중이다. 이 연구에서는 구조용 데크플레이트를 활용하여 거푸집 및 인장철근의 배근을 대체하고 강섬유보강 콘크리트를 사용하여 온도철근의 역할을 대 체하는 단순슬래브 시스템의 장기거동을 평가하는 것이 목적이다. 구조용 데크플레이트를 활용하는 기존 합성슬래브 공법은 건조수축에 의한 균열 제어를 위해 용접 철망을 배근하는 것이 일반적이나, 이는 균열을 억제하는 데 효과적이지 못한 것으로 선행연구들에서 지적되었다. 본 연구에서는, 일반적인 건축물의 하중 조건으로 제작 된 연속 두 경간을 갖는 강섬유보강 데크플레이트 슬래브의 장기적인 균열 및 처짐 거동을 평가하도록 하였다. 실험 결과, 실험체의 비 내력부에서는 장기균열의 개수 및 폭이 현저하게 감소하는 것으로 나타나 강섬유보강 콘크리트의 건조수축과 균열 제어 성능이 우수한 것으로 평가되었으며,,처짐량도 강섬유보강 데크플레이트 슬래브가 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 다만, 부모 멘트가 작용되는 슬래브 연속단부에서는 사용하중 단계에서 균열폭을 제어하고 하중 제거 시 처짐을 회복하기 위한 디테일의 적용이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

        When reinforcing an existing reinforced concrete beam-column building with a precast concrete panel, special connection between the PC member and the RC member is required to solve the time dependent deformation of the RC member and to receive the large shear forces. The aim of this study is to obtain the shear strength of upper connection between the existing RC beam-column and infilled PC wall panels in experimentally and theoretically. Thus, the static shear loading tests were conducted on the 6 specimens with the plate connection. Shear failure was resulted from the weakest portion of interior PC panel, exterior RC, and the connection, when the PC portion which located at the center of specimen was pulled upward from the bottom. The experimental result was compared with analytical result from ACI 318M-14 Chapter 17 for the shear strength of post-installed anchor and PCI Handbook 7th edition 6.8 Structural Steel Corbel (PCI Design Handbook 7th edition, 2010) for the strength of cast-in H-beam. The analytical and experimental results show final failure at the same location. The failure loading of experiment showed larger than average 6% to that of the analysis.

        Cyclic loading tests for a total of nine test specimens were performed to evaluate the seismic performance of the exposed steel column-base plate connections. From the tests, flexural strength, deformation capacity, energy dissipation, and initial stiffness were investigated. The primary test parameters were the thickness of base-plate, embedment length of anchor bolt, the presence of hook, and rib plates. Test results showed that flexural behavior of column base-plate connection was substantially affected by the base-plate thickness, embedment length and the number of anchor bolts. On the other hand, the effect of rib plates on the increase of the flexural performance was not observed. The initial stiffness of the test specimens was about 15% of the flexural stiffness obtained by assuming that the support is fixed. As a result, even if the exposed column base-plate is designed in accordance with current design recommendations, in case that bond strength between concrete and the anchor bolts is not sufficient, the base-plate connection showed an unaccceptable load-displacement behavior.

        In this study, It was purpose to provide preliminary data for extension of the applicability of deep corrugated steel plate composite members by steel grade and shear reinforcement method. From the result of flexural test on deep corrugated plates composite members using GR40 and SS590, positive moment capacity was increased about 28% by SS590 steel. But to change steel grade was proved to have insignificant effects for increasement of negative moment capacity. In the moment test result of same overlapping length, Increasement rate of positive and negative moment capacity was not significantly improved by increasing the number of bolt. It was estimated to be due to the characteristics of bolt connection such as distance between centers of bolts, edge distance of bolt. In the test result on the spacing of shear reinforcement, positive moment capacity was increased and deformation of negative moment was reduced as the distance decrease. In the test result on the shape of shear reinforcement, positive and negative moment resistance was increased about 2% ~ 7% by U shaped shear reinforcement. In conclusion It was estimated that moment capacity of deep corrugated steel plate composite members are depend on steel grade of deep corrugated steel plate, spacing of shear reinforcement and reinforcing bar.

        In this study, sensitivity analyses on the blast response of the steel-plate concrete(SC) walls subjected to explosive blast loads were carried out. In order to evaluate various cases effectively we set up the blast response evaluation procedure of SC walls, and developed the blast response evaluation program of SC walls using equivalent SDOF method. Finally, the effects of the various design parameters on the blast response of SC walls were investigated using the developed program.

        In the case of railway bridges through the downtown section is required for noise reduction performance is excellent bridge type. According to this request, the bridge of the noise barrier installation is not required and low vibration is under development. This railway bridge is corrugated steel plates composite lower route bridge. Because the bridge cross-section wraps a train, noise is reduced. In this study, Using a commercial finite element analysis program, the dynamic stability evaluation is performed.

        철골기둥-베이스 플레이트 접합부의 파괴유형은 베이스 플레이트 압축면과 인장면의 휨파괴, 앵커볼트의 인장파괴, 뽑힘, 전단파 괴, 그리고 콘크리트 기초파괴 및 철골기둥의 소성힌지발생에 따른 파괴이다. 본 연구에서는 핀접합 또는 강접합으로 가정하여 설계되는 노출 형 철골기둥-베이스 플레이트 접합부가 받을 수 있는 모멘트의 크기를 구하기 위하여, 한계상태 함수를 이용하여 철골기둥-베이스 플레이트 접합부의 휨성능 및 파괴유형을 예측하고 실험결과와 비교하였다. 한계상태함수를 이용하여 노출형 철골기둥-베이스 플레이트 접합부의 휨 성능을 비교적 정확히 예측할 수 있는 범위는 축력이 있는 경우, 앵커볼트의 항복 또는 철골기둥의 항복으로 판별되었을 때이며 축력이 없는 경 우, 베이스 플레이트의 항복으로 판별된 경우이다. 파괴유형까지 같이 고려할 경우, 축력이 있으며 앵커볼트의 항복으로 판별된 경우에만 한계 상태함수의 사용이 가능하다.

        이 연구에서는 SC 전단벽의 전단 연결재인 스터드의 배치와 형상이 SC 전단벽의 거동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 전단벽체가 강제진동을 받을 때의 거동을 해석적으로 검토하였다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 배치간격과 형상의 스터드가 배열된 SC 전단벽을 대상으로 유한요 소해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 시간이력해석으로부터 구한 감쇠비가 파워반감대역폭법이 전반적으로 높게 그리고 적합지수함수법이 가장 낮은 수준으로 산정했으며 설계강도 절반정도에서의 감쇠비는 3.0~4.2%로, 설계강도에서는 4.1~5.2%로 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 개선된 스터드를 사용할 때, 감쇠비가 약간 감소하였고 DS1과 DS2 간에는 일관된 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 스터드의 간격이 필요이상 증가할 경우, 고유진동수가 감소하고 감쇠비가 증가함을 확인하였다.

        Recently corrugated steel member filled with concrete has been applied to various construction structures. In this study, the compressive strength was evaluated based on the number of bolt joints of corrugated steel. And compressive strength was also evaluated according to the shape and spacing of the steel rebar to improve the performance of the corrugated plates.

        최근 도심지에 건설되는 건축물의 초고층화는 기둥에 작용하는 하중을 증가시켜 기둥단면 증가와 사용면적 확보의 어려움을 발생 시키고 있다. 이에 최근에는 CFT와 같은 합성기둥의 사용이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 CFT 기둥의 경우 폐단면으로 이루어져 있어 보- 기둥 접합부 개발의 어려움과 성능저하의 문제가 발생하게 된다. 특히, 원형CFT 기둥과 외다이아프램을 이용한 접합상세 개발의 연구가 미비 한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 Y형 플레이트를 적용한 원형 CFT 기둥-H형강 보 접합부 접합상세를 개발하여 Y형 플레이트를 적용한 접합 부 구조성능에 영향을 미치는 Y형 플레이트 폭 및 두께를 주요변수로 설정하여 실험을 통해 구조성능을 평가하였다. 또한 실험체에 사용된 Y 형 플레이트는 설계기준에 제시된 장기허용인장력이 Y형 플레이트에 접합된 인장 측 플랜지의 축방향력 이하가 되도록 설계하여 파괴형태를 통해 Y형 플레이트의 구조적 안전성과 성능을 확인하고자 한다.
