        The purpose of this study was to analyze whether FSH and LH hormone treatment directly or indirectly affect embryo development in embryonic development. To determine this, we compared the development of embryonic cells through the expression pattern of MMPs. As a result, 33.8% of blastocysts were formed in FSH added group, 20.8% in LH added group and 10% in FSH + LH added group. In addition, the activity of MMP-9 was highly detected in the FSH-added group, and the expression of Casp-3 was much lower than that of the other groups. These results suggest that the addition of FSH seems to increase the activity of MMP-9 in embryonic cells, and that LH, on the contrary, may activate MMP-2 activity. In addition, the expression level of MMP-2 in the FSH-added group was high in the Trophoblast cell group and in the LH-added group, the hormone ideal secretion might affect the development of the embryonic cell.

        Nitrogen-doped carbons have attracted much attention due to their novel application in relation to gas storage. In this study, nitrogen-doped porous carbons were synthesized using SBA-15 as a template, polypyrrole as the carbon and nitrogen precursor, and KOH as an activating agent. The effect of the activation temperature (600–850°C) on the CO2 adsorption capacity of the obtained porous carbons was studied. Characterization of the resulting carbons showed that they were micro-/meso-porous carbon materials with a well-developed pore structure that varied with the activation temperature. The highest surface area of 1488 m2 g–1 was achieved at an activation temperature of 800°C (AC-800). The nitrogen content of the activated carbon decreased from 4.74 to 1.39 wt% with an increase in the activation temperature from 600 to 850°C. This shows that nitrogen is oxidized and more easily removed than carbon during the activation process, which indicates that C-N bonds are more easily ruptured at higher temperatures. Furthermore, CO2 adsorption isotherms showed that AC-800 exhibited the best CO2 adsorption capacity of 110 mg g–1 at 298 K and 1 bar.

        본 연구는 교정행정조직의 발전방향을 제고하기 위해 유관기관 활성화를 모색하고자 하는 것이다. 교정행정조직과 유관기관은 상호 호혜적인 자원체계이기 때문이다. 이러한 관점에서 조직의 활성화에 미치는 영향요인을 살펴보고자 조직이론에 대해 검토 하였다. 또한 교정행정조직과 유기적인 관계를 맺고 있는 유관기관들의 현황, 설립 목적, 운영 방식, 기관의 특징, 기관 보유 자원 등에 관해 분석하였다. 그리고 교정행정조직과 유관기관간의 업무활성화를 위해 조직 간 상호협력 메카니즘에 기반 한 의사소통과 자원에 대해 초점을 두고 논의하였다. 연구 결과 유관기관 유형 구분의 기준과 교정행정기관의 고유한 특성을 고려한 유관기관의 세부적인 역할 분류, 지정 대상 및 목적을 보다 명확하게 분류할 필요가 있을 것으로 보인다. 이러한 교정행정조직의 구체적 서비스 전달 체계 모형의 개발은 유관기관과의 적극적인 협력과 업무공유를 가능하게 하여 교정행정의 효율성 증가와 다양한 위기상황 대처에 관한 대응력을 제고시킬 수 있을 것이다.

        선교는 삼위일체 하나님의 본질적 활동이며 교회는 하나님 선교의 결실이라는 것과 지속적인 하나님의 선교에 참여하기 위해 존재하는 공동체이다. 또한 교회는 삼위일체 하나님의 통치를 선포하며 증언하기 위해 지상에 존재하는 가시적인 하나님의 백성이다. 그 가시적 백성인 교회가 하나님의 선교를 일차적으로 증언하고 선포할 수 있는 것이 바로 교회 안의 예전이며 목회 행정이다. 성찬을 통해 삼위일체 하나님이 선포되고, 세례를 통해 하나님의 선교적 백성들을 세상으로 파송하고, 예배와 설교를 통해 회중들에게 세상에서 선교적 삶을 살아가도록 도전하는 일이야 말로 선교적 교회의 가장 중요한 사역 중에 하나이다. 또한 목회 조직들을 선교적으로 재구성함으로 교회가 무엇인가를 새롭게 인식하고 세상에서 하나님의 선교를 실현하고 하나님의 통치를 선포하도록 도전해야 한다.

        Recently, many efforts to enhance separation performance of the reverse osmosis (RO) membranes have been made. Among them, the post treatment with organic solvent, so called solvent activation, has been recognized as an effective method to improve membrane performance. However, solvent activation enhances water flux along with the loss of NaCl rejection. Furthermore, there have been no clear mechanisms and reliable criteria of the solvent activation effects. In this study, we demonstrate that a new type of organic solvent, benzyl alcohol, can effectively activate the RO membrane to significantly enhance water permeation without deteriorating NaCl. Based on this results, we elucidate the underlying solvent activation mechanism and propose a reliable indicator of the solvent activation effect.

        Our study has analyzed whether inappropriate gonadotropin secretion affects the morphological changes due to the activation of intrauterine MMP. Methods A total of each 6 mice were injected with PMSG, Progesterone, and Androgen in 5 IU of intraperitoneal injection every 2 days after estrus synchronization, and morphological and MMPs expression patterns were compared after inducing hormone secretion. Also, cell survival and death related genes were compared and analyzed. The endometrium was highly developed in the PMSG, and the androgen was not developed at all. In particular, the diameter of the uterus of the Androgen group was also very narrow. MMPs activity assay in the case of PMSG was confirmed that showed low activity, whereas, progesterone and androgen In showed high activity and, in particular, very high activity of MMPs in the case of androgen in glandular cell. The expression of VEGF in the tissues of each group was different from that of MMPs. In the PMSG group, the activity of VEGF was increased in both the Myo-metrium and the endo-metrium, whereas the progesterone group showed low overall expression in the endo-metrium. Therefore, the present study showed that the activities of the endo-metrial cells and the restructuring of the endometrial cells differed according to the type of the abnormal secretory hormone. In particular, the secretion of androgen increased the activity of MMPs throughout the uterus, The endo-metrial epithelial cells are affected by the progesterone group. In conclusion, this study suggests that inappropriate gonadotropin secretion increases the functional changes of the uterus and this reconstruction may be caused by increased activity of MMPs

        The lutropin/chorionicgonadotropin receptor (LHR) is a member of the rhodopsin-like subfamily of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) that have been shown to mediate the internalization of its five (activation: three; inactivation: two) naturally occurring mutation. Gonadotropin receptors are members of the seven transmembrane (TM) receptor families. Several point mutations in TM II, III, V and VI have been identified in the luteinizing hormone receptor (LHR) gene, leading to constitutive activation and inactivation of the receptor. In eelLHR, we generated 3 types of constitutive activating mutations (M410T, L469R and D590Y) and 2 types of constitutive inactivating mutations (D383N and Y546F) to investigate how they work on hormone-receptor interaction. To assess the functional effects of 5 receptor mutations directly, wild-type (WT) and mutant receptors were transiently expressed in CHO-K1 cells. We evaluated the basal and cAMP stimulation by rec-LH hormone. The activity was shown to be a dose-dependent increase in cAMP production in LHR-WT expressing cells with an EC50 of 24.3 ng/ml and basal cAMP level of 2.6 nM. However, three activation mutants (D590Y, L469R and M410T) was most elevated the basal cAMP response at 12.8, 21.7 and 6.1 nM, respectively. In two inactivation mutants (D383N and Y546F) are very low in the basal cAMP activation. The EC50 was also considerably decreased to 42.3 ng/ml and 1181 ng/ml, respectively.

        The porcine zygotic genome activation occurs along with global epigenetic remolding at the 4-cell stage. The histone acetylation, regulating DNA transcription, replication and so on, requires adequate acetyl-CoA. Acetyl-CoA produced by translocated pyruvate dehydrogenase in the nucleus of mammalian cells has been reported, which is commonly considered locating in the mitochondria. To find out whether the nuclear pyruvate dehydrogenase regulating the histone acetylation by controlling generation of acetyl-CoA, a multiple sgRNAs-CRISPR/Cas9 targeting strategy was employed to generate a pyruvate dehydrogenase E1 alpha1 (Pdha1) knockout (KO) parthenogenetic embryo model. Results showed that the targeting efficiency of Pdha1 reached more than 90%. Hence, this model was used in the subsequent experiments. Furthermore, a translocation of Pdha1 during zygotic genome activation was found by immunofluorescent staining and was significantly inhibited by Pdha1 KO. Meanwhile, the 8-cell stage embryo rate significantly decreased after 72 h (24.19% vs 12.53%, control vs Pdha1 KO), indicating a 4-cell arrest. In addition, the nuclear histone acetylation level significantly decreased when Pdha1 was KO. To determine whether the zygotic genome transcription was affected, the qPCR was performed and showed that the mRNA level of Eif1A, Acly, Sqle and Pdha1 all dropped significantly in the Pdha1 KO group compared to the control. In conclusion, the translocated Pdha1 generates acetyl-CoA for histone acetylation inside the nucleus of porcine embryos, which promotes the zygotic genome activation of porcine embryos.

        Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is well known as a suppressor in osteoblast differentiation and activating transcription factor 3 (ATF3) could be induced by a various extracellular signals including cytokines, hormones, DNA damage. Up to date, although the role of ATF3 have been studied, the function of ATF3 in osteoblast differentiation is still not clear yet. Our study showed that expression level of ATF3 could be incresed by tunicamycin which is ER stress inducer in preosteoblasts. BMPs, which are secreted by osteoblasts, can be important regulators in osteogenic differentiation. The stress-responsive transcription factor ATF3 is a negative regulator of osteoblast differentiation in MC3T3-E1 cells. In this study, we verified that BMP2-stimulated osteoblast differentiation could be inhibited by over-expressed ATF3 through regulating alkaline phosphatase (ALP) expression and activation.

        Recent transcriptome analyses have shown that long non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) play prevalent roles in transcriptional regulation. We have reported that promoter-associated ncRNAs (pancRNAs) activate the partner gene expression via local epigenetic changes. Here, we identify thousands of genes under the pancRNA-mediated transcriptional regulation in five mammalian species in common. In the mouse, 1) pancRNA-partnered genes show tissue-specific expression pattern, 2) expression of pancRNAs significantly enriched H3K4me3 and H3K27ac marks towards the partner gene expression, 3) H3K4me1 marks the pancRNA-partnered genes regardless of their expression level, and 4) C- or G-skewed motifs were exclusively overrepresented between -200 and -1 bp relative to the transcription start sites of pancRNA-partnered genes. More importantly, the comparative transcriptome analysis among five different mammalian species using a total of 25 counterpart tissues showed that overall pancRNA expression profile exhibited extremely high species-specificity compared to that of mRNA, suggesting that a significant number of pancRNAs contributed to the enhancement of a set of partner genes' expression in a sequence-specific manner. We conclude that the gain and/or loss of gene-activation-associated pancRNA repertories, caused by formation or disorganization of the genomic GC-skewed structure, finely shapes tissue-specific pattern of gene expression according to a given species.

        Background: Despite muscle latency times and patterns were used as broad examination tools to diagnose disease and recovery, previous studies have not compared the dominant arm to the non-dominant arm in muscle latency time and muscle recruitment patterns during reaching and reach-to-grasp movements. Objects: The present study aimed to investigate dominant and non-dominant hand differences in muscle latency time and recruitment pattern during reaching and reach-to-grasp movements. In addition, by manipulating the speed of movement, we examined the effect of movement speed on neuromuscular control of both right and left hands. Methods: A total of 28 right-handed (measured by Edinburgh Handedness Inventory) healthy subjects were recruited. We recorded surface electromyography muscle latency time and muscle recruitment patterns of four upper extremity muscles (i.e., anterior deltoid, triceps brachii, flexor digitorum superficialis, and extensor digitorum) from each left and right arm. Mixed-effect linear regression was used to detect differences between hands, reaching and reach-to-grasp, and the fast and preferred speed conditions. Results: There were no significant differences in muscle latency time between dominant and non-dominant hands or reaching and reach-to-grasp tasks (p>.05). However, there was a significantly longer muscle latency time in the preferred speed condition than the fast speed condition on both reaching and reach-to-grasp tasks (p<.05). Conclusion: These findings showed similar muscle latency time and muscle activation patterns with respect to movement speeds and tasks. Our findings hope to provide normative muscle physiology data for both right and left hands, thus aiding the understanding of the abnormal movements from patients and to develop appropriate rehabilitation strategies specific to dominant and non-dominant hands.

        Hospitality and tourism industries have recognized that engaging with customers via social media is now a critical element of their marketing strategy. Given the high variability of success with which firms have been attracting customer interest online, businesses are clearly struggling to determine exactly the right methods to use the newest technologies. This study presents a predictive model of attributes for online posts that evoke a high level of customer engagement. The contribution to the literature is a unique set of features that have significant impact on customer engagement, using a big-data set to support findings. In accordance with theories originating from Social Belongingness and Brand Community Marketing, findings indicate that appeals to a sense of community belonging have a significant impact on customer engagement in social media. Specifically, communities have idiomatic vocabularies consisting of “activation words” that are especially effective for engaging customers on social media. This has both theoretical implications in that it constitutes a large-scale, real-world confirmation of belongingness hypotheses, and managerial implications in that it suggests best practices for maintaining an online presence.

        This conceptual paper drew on the uses and gratifications theory to theorize about what drives consumers to engage in social media activation campaigns. This paper proposed that satisfying the needs for integration and social interaction, personal identity, information seeking, entertainment, and utilitarian reward through a social media activation campaign can enhance consumers‘ engagement with it. Finally the way in which cognitive, affective, and behavioral engagement with such campaigns affect brand image was explained theoretically. The developed conceptual framework can help marketing managers to create engaging social media activation campaigns, thereby improving the image of their brands.

        본 연구는 남자 대학생을 대상으로 12주간의 규칙적인 태권도 운동이 체구성, 체력, 뇌파활성 및 뇌신경성장인자(BDNF, IGF-1, NGF)에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 의학적 질환이 없는 대학생 24명을 대조그룹(CG), 유산소 트레이닝 그룹(ATG) 그리고 태권도 트레이닝 그룹(TTG)에 각각 8명씩 무선 배정하여 연구를 실시하였다. 12주 유산소 및 태권도 트레이닝은 주 3회 실시되었으며, 운동강도와 시간은 4주단위로 조정되었다. 뇌파활성 검사 및 채혈은 12주 유산소 및 태권도 트레이닝 전과 후 각각 실시되었으며, 그룹과 시기에 따른 체력요인 및 생화학성분에 대한 차이를 검증하기 위하여 채혈시점을 반복 측정하는 이원변량분석(two-way repeated ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 이에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 12주간의 유산소 및 태권도 트레이닝은 신체구성과 뇌파활성에 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 유산소 트레이닝과 태권도 트레이닝 모두 체력요소 중 평형성을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났으며(p<.05), 12주 유산소 트레이닝은 뇌신경성장인자인 BDNF를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 이상의 결과 12주 유산소 운동은 체력과 뇌신경영양인자에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 반면 태권도 운동은 뇌파활성화 및 뇌신경영양인자에 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다.

        이 연구에서는 자원봉사센터의 지원체계와 운영체계에서 나타나는 문제점을 다각도로 분석하고 자원봉사 센터의 전문성 확보 및 활성화 방안을 도출하고자 한다. 자원봉사관리에 대한 운영 실태를 분석했을 때 현재 한국의 자원봉사센터 문제점은 다음과 같다. 먼저 자원봉사에 대한 체계적인 관리가 결여되어 있을 뿐 아니라 자원봉사단체간 의 협력적인 네트워크가 제대로 형성되어 있지 않아 관리의 효율성을 저하시키고 있다. 또한 자원봉사관리자의 전문성이 부족하고, 자원봉사관리자에 대한 교육과정이 미비하며 자원봉사단체에 대한 정부의 지원도 매우 열약한 실정이다. 본 연구자는 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 다음과 같은 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 자원봉사 관련 조례제정과 제도적 지원이 필요하다. 둘째, 각 부처별 자원봉사센터가 효율적으로 운영되어야 한다. 셋째, 자원봉사 관리자의 전문성 강화가 필요하다. 넷째, 자원봉사자 관리를 효율적으로 할 수 있어야 한다. 다섯째, 프로그램 개발 기능 및 수요처 개발을 강화하고 센터와 지역사회의 관계 증진할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 안정적인 예산확충과 자원봉사 전담인력 확보가 절실히 필요하다. 따라서 자원봉사센터 활성화를 위해서는 공공부문에서는 과감한 재정 및 제도적 뒷받침을 마련해 주어야 하며, 민간 부문에서는 자발적인 활동이 될 수 있도록 자율성을 최대한 보장해 주어야 한다.

        오늘날, 의학발달과 생활수준 향상으로 평균 수명이 연장되었으나 노인성 질환은 증가되었다. 노인성 질환이 라고 알려져 있는 대표적인 질환은 치매라고 볼 수 있으나 현대에는 노인뿐 아니라 젊은 층도 치매에서 완전히 벗어날 수 없는 실정이다. 치매는 노화에 따른 뇌 단백질의 변화 및 전두엽의 위축으로 새로운 문제 해결 능력, 문제 처리속도, 기억력 등이 점차 감소됨에 따라오는 질병으로 현존하는 치매 치료제로는 증상완화가 불분명하며 이를 대체할 수 있는 연구가 시급하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 두뇌 활성화를 통한 인지능력 향상을 기반으로 뇌기능 향상에 도움이 되고자하며 두뇌 훈련 기능성게임을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 구현된 기능성 게임은 뇌파측정을 통하여 두뇌 활성화 훈련의 효과성을 검증하고 평가하는 것에 본 논문의 목적이 있다.
