        The purpose of this literature review is to investigate what kinds of research have been done about scientific inquiry in terms of scientific argumentation in the classroom context from the upper elementary to the high school levels. First, science educators argued that there had not been differentiation between authentic scientific inquiry by scientists and school scientific inquiry by students in the classroom. This uncertainty of goals or definition of scientific inquiry has led to the problem or limitation of implementing scientific inquiry in the classroom. It was also pointed out that students' learning science as inquiry has been done without opportunities of argumentation to understand how scientific knowledge is constructed. Second, what is scientific argumentation, then? Researchers stated that scientific inquiry in the classroom cannot be guaranteed only through hands-on experimentation. Students can understand how scientific knowledge is constructed through their reasoning skills using opportunities of argumentation based on their procedural skills using opportunities of experimentation. Third, many researchers emphasized the social practices of small or whole group work for enhancing students' scientific reasoning skills through argumentations. Different role of leadership in groups and existence of teachers' roles are found to have potential in enhancing students' scientific reasoning skills to understand science as inquiry. Fourth, what is scientific reasoning? Scientific reasoning is defined as an ability to differentiate evidence or data from theory and coordinate them to construct their scientific knowledge based on their collection of data (Kuhn, 1989, 1992; Dunbar & Klahr, 1988, 1989; Reif & Larkin, 1991). Those researchers found that students skills in scientific reasoning are different from scientists. Fifth, for the purpose of enhancing students' scientific reasoning skills to understand how scientific knowledge is constructed, other researchers suggested that teachers' roles in scaffolding could help students develop those skills. Based on this literature review, it is important to find what kinds of generalizable teaching strategies teachers use for students scientific reasoning skills through scientific argumentation and investigate teachers' knowledge of scientific argumentation in the context of scientific inquiry. The relationship between teachers' knowledge and their teaching strategies and between teachers teaching strategies and students scientific reasoning skills can be found out if there is any.

        This article presents an overview of the reminiscence concept and the results of intervention studies in reminiscence therapy on the elderly and the dementia. Reminiscence is thinking and talking about one’s past. it is a composit mental process with involves psychological, emotional, and social interaction aspects. Reminiscence therapy contribute to psychological adaptation by improving of self-esteem, self-integration and life satisfaction and increasing emotional support, activity of daily living adaptation and coping skill on the elderly and the dementia.Depression, anxiety of death, disability and pain were decreased through reminiscence therapy.Especially, communication was improved and behavioral problem was reduced in patients with dementia. Reminiscence therapy are effective method on psychosocial aspects of the elderly with or without disability and it expected to have potential as a therapeutic activity in the field of occupational therapy.

        The purpose of this review article were to suggest ways for practitioners to determine the presence of sensory integrative dysfunction and something about its characteristics in the absence of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) and to suggest to need the use of a top-down assessment approach in the sensory integration approach. The review constructed in two major ways: sensory modulation disorders and disorders of praxis in sensory integration dysfunctions. The methods of test for sensory modulation disorders included a interview, take a sensory history in all sensory system and informal or/and formal observation of children in general and specific environment. Tests for sensory modulation were Sensory Profile (Dunn, 1999), Touch Inventory for Elementary School Children (TIE) and Evaluation of Sensory Processing etc.. The methods of test for disorders for praxis included direct clinical observation, performance of tasks, interview, sensory history, sequencing and balance in occupational performance. The test tools were Bruininks Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOTMP), Motor Assessment Battery for Children (MABC), DeGangi-Berk Test of Sensory Integration, Clinical Observation of Motor and Postural Skills (COMPS), Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction with Balance (CTSIB) and Clinical Observations of Neuromotor Performance etc.. This article reviewed assessments of sensory modulation disorders and disorders of praxis within the context of a top-down approach to evaluation. It also presented formal and informal assessments and proposed a mean of assessing sensory integration in the absence of the SIPT.

        The purpose of this paper is to provide the reader with a pertinent information and research trends of biomechanics in wheelchair propulsion. Biomechanical studies for wheelchair propulsion mainly focus on the most suitable propulsion performance and methods for preventing upper extremity injuries. Recent issues have concentrated on wheelchair propulsion style and cycle mainly because of the high prevalence of repetitive strain injuries in the upper extremely such as shoulder impingement and carpel tunnel syndrome. Optimizing wheelchair propulsion performances as well as medical reflections are presented throughout the review. Information on the underlying musculoskeletal mechanisms of wheelchair propulsion has been introduced through a combination of data collection under experimental conditions and a more fundamental mathematical modelling approach. Through a synchronized analysis of the movement pattern and muscular activity pattern, insight has been gained in the wheelchair propulsion dynamics of people with a different level of disability (various level of physical activity and functional potential). Through mathematical modelling simulation, and optimization (minimizing injury and maximizing performance), underlying musculoskeletal mechanisms during Wheelchair propulsion is investigated.

        한국기업이 중국의 내수시장을 공략하기 위해서는 먼저 중국시장을 알아야 하겠다. 중국시장의 이해부분에 있어서 가장 기초적 연구는 중국소비자의 분석이다. 본 연구는 중국 소비자의 분석과 이해를 위하여 첫째, 90년대 중국의 경제적, 사회적, 인구통계적 변화와 추세를 분석하였다. 둘째, 90년대 중국사회의 환경변화에 따른 중국소비자의 가치관의 현황과 변화방향을 문헌연구를 통하여 제시하였다. 마지막으로 환경변화와 가치관 변화에 따른 중국소비자의 라이프스타일 유형과 특성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과로서는 중국은 현재 사회주의 개발도상국가가 거쳐온 사회환경변화를 겪고 있으며, 이에 따라 배금주의, 개인주의, 경제생활중심의 핵심가치관의 변화가 일어나고 있다. 또한 중국소비자의 라이프스타일도 지역차별화, 계층화와 세대차별화에 따른 온포족, 소강족, 지식인족, 신세대족과 YUPI족의 5가지 군집이 각각 차별적 소비형태와 특성을 보이고 있다.

        The origin as well as the culinary aspects such as ingredients, types, preparation methods of Dasik and materials and ornamental patterns of Dasik mould(다식판) are discussed and analyzed through the literature survey. 1. The origin of Dasik came from the custom of Umdha(飮茶) together with the Worship of Buddhism(숭불정책) and the abundant production of rice due to the Policy for Agricultural Development(권농정책) of the Koryo Dynasty. 2. The main ingredient of Dasik was rice flour and wheat flour and thereafter, plant materials such as Song-wha(송화), Mungbean starch flour(녹두녹말가루) and Hwang-yul(황율) were followed. Honey, sugar and syrup were used as coagulating agents. Dasik was often colored by the addition of Omija(오미자), a plant material containing red pigment. 3. Originally. Dasik mould was not used until Jeungbo-Sanlim-Kyungje. Major types of Dasik were reviewed from the literature survey. 4. The materials of Dasik mould were wood or porcelain. Their shapes and ornamental patterns were reviewed. Circular design was predominant in the wood and lettered designs were predominant in porcelain. 5. Utilization of Dasik recorded in Koryo-History(고려사) and Chosun-Wangjo Shilloc(조선왕조실록) were reviewed.

        A literature on Korean rice cakes by ingredients and preparation methods was reviewed with published literatures in Korea from 1950 to 1995. The result were as followed; 1. The 46 volumes about preparation of Korean rice cakes were reported. There were 32 steamed (Jeung-byung), 6 pounded (Do-byung), 4 fried (Yu-jeon-byung), and 4 boiled Korean rice cakes (Kyung-Dan). This result showed that steamed Korean rice cake was the most frequently studied among any other kinds of Korean rice cakes. 2. The reports on preparation of Korean rice cakes were rare during 1950's~ 1960's. In 1970's, there were few papers about basic study for Korean rice cakes. And it was reached 8 volumes of steamed, each 1 volume of fried or boiled Korean rice cakes. From 1990's, the more scientific researches were progressed vigorously so reached 11 volumes till 1995 but it was limited to Solgi and Jeungpyun etc. This result shows that the experiment for Korean rice cake was not various. 3. The preceded studies for Korean rice cake were investigated to see texture, sensory, quality characteristic and effect of substitutes added to original ingredients.

        The history of vegetable preservation technology by salting and fermentation in Korea was reviewed from the Three Nations Era to the end of Chosun Kingdom, and the development of present day's Kimchi processing technology was traced back by using the classic books as well as recent review papers published in Korea. Although the written record on salting and fermentation of vegetables first appears in a 12th century literature (Dongkukisangkukjib, Gyu-Bo Lee 1168~1241), the use of salted/fermented vegetables could be dated back to the Three Nations Era (B.C. 37~A.D. 668) and even earlier period. The present type of Kimchi was gradually evolved after the introduction of red pepper into Korea in the 17th century. The descriptions on Kimchi fermention appeared in the literatures written in the period of 16th~19th centuries in Korea, Suunjapbang (1500~), Domundaijak (1611), Sasichanyocho (1656), Eumsikdimibang (1670), Chubangmun (1600~), Saekgyung (1676), Yorok (1600~), Sanlimkyungje (1715), Cheungbosanlimkyungje (1766), Kyuhapchongsoe (1800~), Imwonsipyukji (1827), Dongkuksesiki (1849) and Buinpylji (1855~) were reviewed.

        우리나라 음료에 관한 현재까지의 과학적 연구결과를 수집하여 고찰하였다. 음료분야에서 수집된 최근의 연구논문은 총 79편이었으며 이들을 분류해보면 순다류 관련문헌이 11편, 유사다류 38편, 숭늉류 3편, 미식류 4편, 식혜류 9편, 수정과류 1편, 화채류 관련문헌 10편,기타문헌이 5편이었다. 현재 보고되어 있는 논문의 대부분이 음료의 성분을 규명하거나 제조방법이나 가공에 대한 연구이다. 따라서 음료의 재료에 관한 품질특성과 저장수명에 대한 더 많은 연구와 한국 고유음료의 산업화를 위한 다각적인 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.
