        Combat vehicles were developed in two types depending on the purpose of operation. The body of the vehicle is relatively large welded structure, and there is a quality problem in that welding deformation occurs in a certain area. Welding deformation is a problem that is inevitably generated during the welding process, and additional corrective work is performed. However, due to the structural characteristics of the welded structure of combat vehicl, there are many limitations in the correction method, which lowered the productivity. To improve this problem, we intend to establish improvement measures through analysis of the areas where welding deformation occurs and apply corrective measures suitable for welding structures of combat vehicles. For the design improvement plans, the finite element analysis were used and the correction method were applied to simulated structure to confirm the possibility. Finally, the improvement effect was confirmed by manufacturing the actual welded structure. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the productivity of related similar welding structures as well as structures of wheeled armored vehicles, can be improved.

        LNG makes cryogenic conditions, so metals without low-temperature brittleness must be used. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) defines 9% Nickel steel, STS304L, 36% Nickel steel and Al5083 as metals that can be used in cryogenic conditions through the IGC Code. In this study, Al5083-O was studied to minimize welding distortion, and verified through finite element analysis and experiments. The block dumping method, which is advantageous in terms of analysis time and cost, was used, not the continuous heat source method. The constraint models with the thickness direction and the tensile force model were compared with the reference model, it was confirmed that the tensile force model had no significant effect. After verifying through the experiment, it was confirmed that the trend of the finite element analysis model was consistent with the experiment. Through this study, a welding distortion minimization model could be found with the block dumping method. It is judged that simulation of many models through short time analysis will be of great help in the field.

        본 연구에서는 도그 피스 설치량에 따른 용접 변형 실험을 수행하여 용접 변형 감소 효과를 정량적으로 평가하였고, 도그 피스 설치를 고려한 용접 변형 해석 방법을 제안하였다. 용접 변형 실험 결과, 도그 피스 설치량이 증가할수록 용접 변형이 감소하며 최대 74%의 변형 감소 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 원판형 열속 모델을 사용한 열탄소성 유한요소 해석을 활용하여 도그 피스 설치를 고려한 용접 변형 해석 방법을 제안하고, 해석 결과와 실험 결과가 좋은 유사성을 보이고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 해석 방법은 현행 도그 피스 설치량에 대한 적정 여부를 평가하거나 도그 피스 사용량을 절감할 수 있는 설치 가이드를 마련하기 위한 해석적 툴로 활용될 수 있다.

        The dissertation is on the measurement of the strain caused by the characteristics and the temperature changes of the TIG welded zone which is used with 3D ESPI system that is functionally modified through the laser ESPI system. Experimental results have derived from the fact that the welded zone has micro crack during the various phased of the process such as rolling, alkali cleaning, air cooling and heat processing due to the repetitious up-and-down of the temperature. Especially, both 60℃ and 90℃ are selected to measure the strain on the welded zone which can be effected by these two temperatures in the manufacturing process. The flat plate differences between ESPI and the strain gage are within 2 %, and they are the exactly same with the results from the temperature changes of 60 ℃ and 90 ℃, and also within 3 % and 4 %. As the tensile load increase, the strain of aluminum material increases linearly. Also the same effect are observed as the temperature goes up with irregular-line type. The comparison of the strain by ESPI and the strain gage in the welded specimen is within the 2.6% when it is under the room temperature and low-load conditions, while it is measured within 3 % under the high load condition.

        강구조물에 있어서 여러 가지 환경요인에 의해 균열 및 부식 등의 문제가 발생되고 있다. 이는 구조물의 내구성을 저하시키는 요인이 된다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 용접 보수보강방법을 사용할 수 있다. 이러한 보수용접은 전단 및 용접과 같은 입열 과정을 필연적으로 수반하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 입열과정에 있어서 발생되는 잔류응력 및 변형의 예측제어방지는 구조물의 안전이라는 측면에서 볼 때 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 2차원 및 3차원 유한요소 해석을 수행하여 가스전단 및 아크용접에 의해 얻어진 절단 및 용접 잔류응력과 변형을 구하였으며, 2차원 및 3차원 해석기법에 따른 그 값의 정도를 명확히 하였다. 해석기법에 따라 2차원 및 3차원 해석을 수행하여 얻은 절단 및 용접 잔류응련의 분포 및 그 절대치는 유사한 값을 나타내었다.

        For the rational and economic design of the structural elements of ships which is built using welding, the ultimate strength analyses of the plates having initial imperfections, such as welding residual stresses and strains, are needful. The welding deformation usually relied on approximative equations or based on expert's experience. But in this paper, for the thermal elasto-plastic analysis of plates, the finite element analysis was performed, based on initial strain method. In formulating the incremental analysis, unbalanced force terns were included. In the plastic domain during the incremental process, the 2nd order terns stress increment and yield stress increment were considered, so that time increment could be controlled for a more stable solution. The ultimate strength analysis program of the plates having initial imperfections was made. The ultimate strength analysis was carried out based on the results of the welding deformations of this paper. In the ultimate strength analysis the Rayleigh-Ritz method based on the minimum potential theory was used.
