        The vibration of wheel is mainly affected by a fault on a wheel contacting with railway when average speed is over 60km/h. When the wheel vibration caused by wheel scratch increase more than a certain criterion, the wheel is shaved to reduce the vibration. This criterion of shaving is determined from the acceleration signal measured from the sensor mounted on the railway. In this study, vibration characteristics of the rolling wheels having a fault is analyzed with experimental approach to verify the acceleration criterion for shaving wheel.

        본 논문에서는 Co-Rotational plane beam transient analysis EDISON program(CR-보)를 이용한 에어포일 단면형상 변화 에 따른 진동특성 연구를 수행하였다. Co-Rotational 평면 보 해석은 대 회전과 작은 변형률을 갖는 보 해석에 적합하다. 항 공기의 날개를 외팔보로 가정하여, VABS를 통한 단면해석과 Fourier 변환을 통해 각 단면형상 변화에 따른 에어포일의 고 유진동수를 비교하였다. VABS를 사용하여 단면의 형상과 재료의 적층 정보를 고려한 단면에서의 유한요소 해석을 수행하 였다. 에어포일의 재질, spar 유무, 단일 등방성 재료·복합재료, 에어포일 최대두께의 변화에 따라 에어포일의 끝단 진폭과 고유진동수가 변화함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 에어포일 고유진동수 변화는 2차 관성모멘트/단면적, 밀도, 영률의 변화에 상당한 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었다.

        With the recent trend to construct high-rise and large buildings, the steel structure system is widely used, but there are not enough studies on the vibration characteristics of the iFLASH system on the buildings. Therefore, in this study, we performed a vibration measurement of the natural frequency and damping ratio in the stage of iFLASH panel, composit, frame completion and cladding completion. The result findings suggest that the damping ratio after the cladding completion has a greater effect on the reduction of the damping ratio, than the stage after the frame completion.

        This study analyze the dynamic response property of latticed domes according to natural frequency ratio of substructure. Through eigenvalue analysis, it is was confirmed that the half-open angle 30° and 45° dominate vibration mode of the vertical direction and the half-open angle 60° and 90° dominate vibration mode of the horizontal direction. Through the dynamic response analysis, it is was confirmed that the first frequency about total structure largely appears about the vertical and the horizontal direction regardless of half-open angle.

        In this study, natural frequency characteristics of road mower head system are investigated through experiment and numerical analysis. ANSYS workbench 14.5 is used to calculate the frequency analysis in the mower system. Compared the natural frequency using the modal test and computerized analysis. When compared with the experimental results, a 5% error rate has occurred. Simulation results showed that vibration mode shape has directional characteristics, especially to the right and left. These results will be helpful in optimal design for road mower head systems.

        In this study, shaking table test has been carried out for the dual frame passive control system for seismic performance verification of the proposed system. The proposed system was separated into two independent frameworks that are strength resistant core and frame structure by connecting to the damper. Moreover, the seismic performance improvement of the proposed system has been verified by comparing and analyzing the experimental results of the proposed system with an existing core system. As a result of the shaking table test, acceleration and displacement responses of dual-frame vibration control system are decreased than those of the existing strength resistant type core system. In the case of the core system, while the damage was concentrated on the column of first floor, the damage of the dual system was dispersed in each layer. The damage also was concentrated on the damper, almost no damage occurs to the structural members. It has been emphasized that installed dampers in the proposed dual system reduce the input energy of whole structure by absorbing seismic input energy, which leads overall system damage to be reduced.

        Cooling towers have been widely applied to control the indoor temperature in the residential area and the living space. At operating the cooling towers, motor, fan and dropping water produce noise and vibration, which diffuse through the air or the solid object, polluting the environment. The standards can be used at estimating noise and vibration emission by showing remarkable economic or social benefits. The purpose of this study is to show the characteristics, measurement methods for the evaluation of noise and vibration in cooling tower.

        This study investigate the dynamic response changes of rib dome structure according to property changes of Substructure. Eigenvalue analysis is conducted in first natural frequency of rib dome versus substructure and searched in the dominant mode of horizontal and vertical direction. Resonance frequency by each first natural frequency of the rib dome structure, substructure and total structure is applied for a seismic wave. That is analyzed about maximum displacement response ratio and maximum acceleration response ratio.

        The tires changes characteristics of the element constituting change. Stiffness is one of the various characteristics of the tire. Stiffness of the tire is change contact contour. it is known to affect vibration and noise of the vehicle. In this study we conduct to find influence of change stiffness of the tire due to vibration characteristics inside passenger car. For this study we choose tires of available on the market and measure vertical spring rate and lateral spring rate. Also through the real passenger car we find vibration characteristics in the inside of car. In conclusion, vibration energy is reducing with increase in the stiffness and we find the high vibration level of low frequency band in passenger car due to decreasing stiffness.

        The train noise and vibration nearby the elevated railway make one specific issue. For the elevated railway, this paper concerns vibration by the bridge. this paper presents vibration level of vibration source of train. The prediction model gives the effects of ground attenuation, and barrier attenuation of noise. The acceleration array method is used to search vibration propagation characteristics of elevated structure to predict the vibration propagation from an elevated railway. Based on the results, this paper proposes the source model of elevated structure-borne vibration and the calculation model for elevated railway vibration. Also measure results are presented with rolling vibration and elevated structure vibration.

        Wind turbine tower has a very important role in wind turbine system as one of the renewable energy that has been attracting attention worldwide recently. Due to the growth of wind power market, advance and development of offshore wind system and getting huger capacity is inevitable. As a result, the vibration is generated at wind turbine tower by receiving constantly dynamic loads such as wind load and wave load. Among these dynamic loads, the mechanical load caused by the rotation of the blade is able to make relatively periodic load to the wind turbine tower. So natural frequency of the wind turbine tower should be designed to avoid the rotation frequency of the rotor according to the design criteria to avoid resonance. Currently research of the wind turbine tower, the precise research does not be carried out because of simplifying the structure of the other upper and lower. In this study, the effect of blade modeling differences are to be analyzed in natural frequency of wind turbine tower.

Natural frequency characteristic of tower could be changed by mass ratio of RNA-tower, modeling method of blade and angle of blade in idling condition. In this research, natural frequency of tower is analysed by ABAQUS and compared it result according to tower dimension.

        According to natural frequency of soil, characteristics of earthquake responses of an isolated containment building in nuclear power plants are examined. For this, earthquake response analysis of seismically isolated containment buildings in nuclear power plants is carried out by strictly considering soil-structure interactions. The structure and near-field soil are modeled by the finite element method while far-field soil by consistent transmitting boundary. The equation of motion of a soil-structure interaction system under incident seismic wave is derived. The derived equations of motion are solved to carry out earthquake analysis of a seismically isolated soil-structure system. Generally, the results of this analysis show that seismic isolation significantly reduces the responses of the soil-structure system. However, if the natural frequency of the soil is similar to that of the soil-structure system, the responses of the containment buildings in nuclear power plants rather increases due to interactions in the system.

        Long span arch structure is composed of arch as relatively flexible structure and column as relatively rigid structure. In this study, the characteristic of dynamic response is analyzed according to the natural frequency ratio between arch and columns. The result of analysis for arch as relatively vertical vibration mode is dominant, the influence of columns mainly appears at relatively high frequency band according to increase of 1st mode frequency in column. However, the dynamic characteristic of arch structure is expected to vary with not only frequency ratio but interaction between vibration modes of arch and columns.

        In this paper, the vibrational characteristic of electronic solenoid structure for vehicle is analyzed by using ADAMS as commercial multi-body dynamics analysis program. This study model is made with CATIA V5R18 as 3D computer-aided design program and analyzed with rigid body mode in ADAMS. To fulfill the vibration analysis, the result value of solenoid structure is suggested.

        The dynamic analysis of poles made of advanced composite materials is carried out for different length-thickness ratios and layup sequences. The numerical results using ABAQUS obtained for plates and shells are in good agreement with those reported by other investigators. The new results for laminated composite pole structures in this study mainly show the effect of the interactions between the radius-length ratio and other various parameters. The effect of fiber angles of long composite poles also investigated. Key observation points are discussed and a brief design guideline is given.

        Recently, the quiet fan development is one of important issues for comfort of railroad car. The purpose of this study is to find the vibration and noise source of the line flow fan for reduction the noise level. For a vibration and noise source identification, experiments with microphone and acceleration were carefully carried out. The noise of line flow fan is caused by various factors, such as turbulent flow noise, blade passing frequence and unbalance. In order to reduce the fan noise, the blade shape, distance and angle of housing guide should be modified.
