        The purpose of this study was to measure the mediating effects of sacrifice, value and satisfaction on the relationship between restaurant service quality and loyalty. A total of 273 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal effects of service quality, perceived sacrifice, value, satisfaction and loyalty. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The influences of service quality and perceived sacrifice on value were statistically significant. The influences of service quality and value on satisfaction were statistically significant. The influences of value and satisfaction on loyalty were statistically significant. As expected, the service quality had a significant effect on loyalty. The results indicated that the effect of service quality on loyally was mediated by value. Moreover, the effect of service quality on loyalty w3s mediated by satisfaction.

        The purpose of this study was to identify the differences of cognitive responses, emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty about service encounter quality by types of restaurants and to analyse emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty in accordance with level of service encounter quality. The questionnaire were collected from customers (N=812) who had used restaurants in Seoul, aiming at 15 or more-year-old customers from October 24, 2005 to November 6, 2005. The main results of this study were as follows: Statistically significant difference was showed in importance and performance of interaction quality, importance and performance of physical environment quality, performance of outcome quality depending on types of restaurants, while significant difference was not indicated in importance of outcome quality by types of restaurants. Positive emotional response was significantly high by types of restaurants in order of fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants, and fast-food restaurants, while negative emotional responses were significantly higher in fast-food restaurants than in the other two types. As far as Customer satisfaction are concerned, fine-dining restaurants showed higher customer satisfaction than the other two types. Attitudinal service loyalty was high in fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants and fast-food restaurants in order and behavioral loyalty was not significantly different with each type of restaurant. In accordance with level of service encounter quality, cluster analysis was conducted and the clusters were divided into 'high-valuation' and 'low-valuation'. 'High-valuation cluster' and 'low-valuation cluster' showed significant difference depending on types of restaurants that customers used(p<.001). The customers who used fine-dining restaurants and family restaurants valued the performance of service encounter highly. However, in fast-food restaurants, a lot of low-valuation customers existed. Therefore, fast-food restaurants have to improve performance of interaction quality, outcome quality and physical environment quality in service encounter. In addition, in 'high-valuation cluster' who valued service encounter quality highly showed higher scores in positive responses, customer satisfaction, service loyalty than in 'low-valuation cluster', and showed low negative responses.

        A study of the comparison of customers' satisfaction and loyalty at McDonald's two types of outlets is presented. The objective of this study is to test correlation among selection attributes, customer satisfaction and loyalty of customers patronizing two types of Mcdonald's restaurants - stand alone and co-branded, as Mcdonald's is known to be actively participating in co-branding with discount stores such as E-Mart. In order to measure customer loyalty, benchmark scores from customers showing extreme satisfaction are compared to the mean scores of total sample customers at each outlet. Meeting or exceeding benchmarking scores does not automatically bring in and create loyal customers but in doing so will certainly help build up strong customer relationship which will create additional loyalty. Marketers should be well aware that statistically significant difference do exist between these two groups of customers and should take into consideration these findings in opening up new outlets or renovating existing outlets.

        오프라인은 물론, 온라인에서 점점 경쟁이 심화되고 있는 화장품 시장에서 살아남기 위해 화장품 회사들은 자신들만의 브랜드 전략과 홍보계획을 세우고 이를 위한 마케팅에 많은 비용과 시간을 투자하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 화장품 브랜드에 대한 심층연구로서 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 신뢰가 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향을 검증하고 이들의 관계에서 브랜드 태도의 매개 역할을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 가설을 설정하고 회귀분석을 통해 이를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 신뢰 모두 브랜드 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 신뢰는 브랜드 태도를 매개하여 브랜드 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과는 화장품 브랜드에 대한 관리 및 운용을 중요성을 인지하고 효율적인 브랜드 관리를 위한 제안으로 화장품 브랜드 연구에 대한 실증연구로써 화장품 브랜드 관리와 운용에 있어서 마케팅 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다. 더불어 향후 연구에서는 브랜드와 관련한 다양한 변인들에 대한 연구가 이어지길 기대한다.

        Purpose - Customer loyalty and citizenship behavior are key success factors of franchise system. They make the management of franchisee more effective and efficient. Prior studies, however, mainly dealt with only acquisition utility of customer, such as perceived product/service quality and brand reputation to explain customer loyalty and citizenship behavior, which explains only on one side. We tried to investigate the effect of exchange utility of customer, such as relationship strength and psychological obligation together with the acquisition utility. In addition, we tried to investigate the relationship between customer loyalty and citizenship behavior in franchise context. Research design, data, and methodology - This study used data collected from the dining franchisee managers of 342 franchisors in South Korea. The franchisors consist of more than ten franchisees, the majority of which participated directly in the transaction with franchisor and have worked for more than six months. To test the hypotheses, the study used structural equation model analysis. Results - H1-1, 1-2, 1-3 predicted that acquisition utility would increase customer loyalty to franchisee. In support of H1-1, 1-2, 1-3, the results indicated that acquisition utilities such as perceived product value, perceived service value, and franchise brand reputation had positive effects on customer loyalty. H2-1, 2-2 predicted that exchange utility would increase customer loyalty to franchisee. In support of H2-2, the result indicated that psychological obligation had positive effects on customer loyalty like other acquisition utilities. However, H2-1 was not supported. Relationship strength had no significant effect on customer loyalty. H3 predicted that customer loyalty would increase customer citizenship behavior. In support of H3, the results indicated that customer loyalty had positive effect on customer citizenship behavior. Overall, the evidences generally supported the hypotheses. Conclusion - The results of the study show that not only acquisition utility but also exchange utility increases customer loyalty to franchisee and also show that customer loyalty increases customer citizenship behavior. Interestingly, however, relationship strength has no significant effect on customer loyalty. These results have two implications. The one is that increasing exchange utility can improve customer loyalty as acquisition utility can. The other one is that both of customer utilities can improve customer citizenship via customer loyalty.

        본 연구는 해양원격의료의 서비스 특성(서비스 질, 서비스의 인지 여부, 건강 상담 서비스의 경험 여부)이 선원만족도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지 분석하고, 또한, 선원만족도가 충성도에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해, 해양원격의료 시범사업에서 수행했던 2017년도 서비스 대상자 설문조사에서 수집된 데이터를 활용하였다. 다만, 본 연구에서는 해양원격의료 중 화상원격(Tele-Monitering) 서비스를 받은 선원 103명을 연구의 대상으로 실증 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다.ⅰ) 서비스 질이 높을수록 만족도는 높았다, ⅱ) 만족도가 높을수록 충성도는 높았다, ⅲ) 30세 미만보다 50세 미만의 선원들이 만족도가 낮았다. ⅳ) 총 승선경력에서, 5년 이상에서 10년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅴ) 10년 이상에서 15년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅵ) 15년 이상에서 20년 미만인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다, ⅶ) 또한, 20년 초과인 선원이 5년 미만인 선원보다 만족도가 높았다. 결론적으로,ⅰ) 해양원격의료 서비스 질이 높을수록 만족도는 높았고, 만족도가 높을수록 충성도는 높았다. 따라서 서비스 질의 향상은 만족도 및 충성도를 높이는데 중요한 요소일 뿐만 아니라, 해양원격의료에 대한 긍정적인 이미지 형성에 중요한 역할을 한다고 하겠다. ⅱ) 나이가 젊고, 대체적으로 총 승선경력이 낮은 선원이 만족도가 높았다. 이는 원격의료에 대한 이용 의사가 있고, 다른 사람에게 추천할 의도가 있는 선원은 젊은 층이라고 사료 된다.

        Purpose - Despite the global economic crisis, the numbers of coffee shops used for providing a place for social and cultural interactions show an upward trend and have become an indispensable part in people’s daily life in recent years. Under the circumstance of tremendous efforts of searching new management strategies and projects, the concept of servicescape(which has physical environment characteristics) may provide a better alternative. Therefore, the purpose of this study can be broadly divided into 3 key points. First is to investigate the effects of servicescape on customer satisfaction, service value and customer loyalty about Coffee Shops in Jeonju area. Second is to examine the mediating effect of customer satisfaction and service value between servicescape and customer loyalty. Third, there is evidence that indicates the moderating effect among the interaction of customer and staff, brand image and the composition of servicescape, customer satisfaction, service value and customer loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - This study begins empirical research about users of coffee shops’ services. The data of the study is collected from 285 samples of a questionnaire which has been made from Korea and analysed by IBM SPSS 24.0 and IBM AMOS 24.0. Results - The results are reported below: First of all, the composition of condition, functionality, cleanliness and aesthetic characteristics of the servicescape has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and s ervice value. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is identified as a factor to influence service value. Moreover, customer satisfaction and service value are identified as the causal relationship with customer loyalty. Besides, customer satisfaction and service value illustrated the mediation effect between the composition of servicescape and customer loyalty. Finally, the interaction between customer and staff, brand image illustrates the moderated effect. Conclusions - The composition of servicescape contributes to the formation of customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer's perceived service value in coffee shops. By meeting diverse and complex needs of consumers in coffee shop, the service value will not only attract loyal customers, but also increase customer loyalty and profitability. In a word, managers should rely on servicescape to enhance service experience by making differences with other competitors.

        Purpose - Competition among cities around the world are rapidly shifting from competition of production factors such as labor costs and quality of raw materials to competition between the consumption factors such as quality of life, settlement environment, culture, and place. The entry into the era of competition between consumption factors is not only attracting investment for strengthening city competitiveness, but also actively inducing urban image reconstruction and new image making. Therefore, various studies related to urban marketing are being carried out. The object of this study is to investigate the effect of city brand image on city brand recognition and city loyalty based on the questionnaire of external citizens about Changwon city. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from 200 Seoul and Busan citizens. Reliability and exploratory factor analysis were conducted through the SPSS program, and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were conducted by using the AMOS program. Results - As a result of the hypothesis test, six hypotheses were adopted among the nine hypotheses. In summary, pleasant image, dynamic image, and good administrative image have a significant positive impact on city brand recognition. The magnanimous image did not have a significant effect on city brand recognition. In the impact of city brand image on city loyalty, magnanimous image and good administrative image had significant positive impact on city loyalty. Pleasant images and dynamic images did not significantly affect city loyalty. In addition, city brand recognition positively influenced city loyalty. Conclusions - First, it is possible to say that there is an academic significance of this research in its contribution to regional revitalization by investigating mutual influences in urban aspect by combining place marketing with image, recognition, and loyalty. Secondly, kinetic images such as pleasant image and dynamic image have more influence on recognition, and static images such as magnanimous images have more influence on loyalty. So, further research will be necessary to establish theories. Finally, In order to increase city brand recognition and city loyalty to local city, efforts should be made to improve urban images such as pleasant image, magnanimous image, dynamic image, and good administrative image.

        As Korean food service franchise companies sought to advance into around 2,000 new foreign markets, the importance of global management was emphasized. They intensively expanded into Chinese and American markets in 2015 and these two markets account for approximately 40% of total food service franchise companies in foreign countries. Although Japan has huge franchise market, Korean food service franchise companies in Japan only account for 5% of total franchise companies in Asian countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between food service franchise selection factors, brand loyalty, and revisit intention of Japanese consumers using Korean food service franchise companies in Japanese food service market, and based on the analysis results, draw the implications for the expansion of Korean food service franchise companies into the Japanese market. Food service franchise selection factors is defined as service and cleanliness, taste, safety and reliability, cost and convenience, and professionalism. The study results can be summarized as follows. First, analysis was performed to identify the effects of food service franchise selection factors on the brand loyalty, it showed that five food service franchise selection factors including professionalism, service and cleanliness, cost and convenience had positive (+) effects on the brand loyalty. One of the most important factors influencing the brand loyalty is professionalism. In order to raise food service franchise’s professionalism, it is necessary for the food service franchise companies to establish stronger strategies containing professional operation systems and services compared to general restaurants. Second, analysis was performed to identify the effects of food service franchise selection factors on revisit intention, five food service franchise selection factors, service and cleanliness, safety and reliability, and cost and convenience had positive (+) effects on revisit intention. One of the most important factors influencing revisit intention is safety and reliability. Thus, in order to raise safety and reliability it is important to form trust with consumers by properly utilizing systems of food hygiene and food safety accreditation.

        본 연구는 온라인 FPS(1인칭 슈팅) 게임 소비자의 이용 동기가 몰입과 소비자만족 및 충성 도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 연구결과, 게임 이용 동기는 조작, 관계, 자랑, 스트레 스해소, 흥미의 다섯 가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 몰입에는 이용 동기 중 흥미, 조작, 관계, 스트 레스해소 순으로 정적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 소비자만족에는 관계, 흥미, 조작 순으로 정적 영 향력을 미치고 있다. 소비자만족도에는 이용 동기에서 관계, 조작, 흥미 순으로 정적 영향력을 나타냈다. 몰입은 소비자만족과 충성도에 모두 강한 정적 영향을 미치고 있었다.

        본 연구는 온라인 게임 플레이어의 유형에 따라 몰입 및 충성도에 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 분석하였다. 한 주간 이용시간 2시간 이상의 게임 플레이어가 2시간미만 이용자보다 통계적으 로 유의하게 몰입도가 높게 나타났으며, 한 주간 3시간 이상 게임을 하는 플레이어는 한 주간 1시간미만 플레이어에 비해 충성도가 높게 나타났다. 6달 이상 게임을 한 플레이어가 6달 미만 으로 게임을 한 플레이어보다 통계적으로 몰입도가 높게 나타났으며, 6~9개월 게임을 한 플레이 어가 3개월 미만 플레이어보다 충성도가 높게 나타났다. 또한 높은 레벨과 계급을 지니고 있는 게임 플레이어가 낮은 레벨의 게임 플레이어보다 몰입도와 충성도가 높은 것으로 조사되었다.

        본 연구는 게임 이용자를 비사회적 게이머 집단과 사회적 게이머 집단으로 구분하고, 온라인 게임의 재미 요소와 자아성향이 그들의 게임에 대한 몰입 정도와 게임 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 집단 간 비교를 통해 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 게임의 재미 요소(성취감, 도전 감, 친밀감)에 있어 두 집단간의 차이는 모두 유의미하였다. 둘째, 게이머들의 자아 성향에 있어 서의 차이는 생활 환경보다는 게임 환경에서 발견되었다. 셋째, 응답자들의 게임 몰입 정도와 게임 충성도는 사회적 게이머들이 비사회적 게이머들에 비해 높았다. 넷째, 게임 몰입도와 충성 도에 미치는 재미 요소와 자아성향의 영향력은 사회적 게이머 집단과 비사회적 게이머 집단에 서 상이하게 나타났다.

        This study examined effects of service quality, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibles and empathy on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by surveying users of Jangsu Horse Riding Experience Course at a time that an interest in horseback riding experience increases. Hypothesis was tested by conducting frequency analysis and regression analysis. It was found that for service quality and customer satisfaction of horse riding experience which is hypothesis 1, all dimensions except empathy were significant. It was revealed that hypothesis 2 which customer satisfaction will have a significant influence on customer loyalty is significant. It was found that hypothesis 3 which service quality will have an influence on customer loyalty is significant except assurance of service quality. Findings of this study suggest that empathy in customer satisfaction and assurance in customer satisfaction should be improved.
