This oral history study explores the past and present Japanese menswear customtailoring culture. Two master tailors with more than 50 years of experience and two young tailors with less than a year of experience were interviewed about the tailor training process and environment, working conditions, thinking and behavior, and societal and governmental efforts for vitalizing custom-tailoring. The results indicate, first, a 10-year apprenticeship was required in the past, whereas young tailors today must register for three-year professional tailoring classes. Tailors then and now have been trained in a similar sequence of pants, vests, and jackets. Second, regarding working conditions, tailors had to provide gratitude services to their masters for a few years, even after their training ended. In contrast, young tailors today must continue a probationary period after their three-year schooling; however, they experience difficulty with finding tailoring shops for their probation. Third, in terms of thinking and behavior, master tailors learned their trade to earn a living, whereas young tailors today entered the field due to their interests in it. In addition, young tailors want a systematic learning process, whereas master tailors learned their skills while on the job. Last, tailoring academies today are run by tailoring shops and societies. Career exploration programs are offered to elementary and middle school students by the Kobe government in association with the local tailoring society to provide tailoring experiences.

이사부 장군이 울릉도를 복속하였다는 『삼국사기』 기록에는 출항 할 때 어떤 종교 의식을 행하였는지를 알려주는 기사는 없다. 그리고 이와 관련한 금석문이나 자료들도 아직 발견되지 않았다. 이에 당시 종교 의식을 어떻게 행하였는지를 알기 위하여 본문에서 동해에서의 신앙 전통과 관련한 각종 기록을 시대별로 정리하였고, 현재의 민간신앙 전통에 대하여 폭넓게 살펴보았다. 그 결과 東海를 배경으로 바다에서의 안전을 도모하기 위해, 또는 바다로부터 올 수 있는 나쁜 액살을 막기 위해 신라 이래 고려와 조선시대에 東海에서 용왕 을 주요 신령으로 모셔서 제사를 지냈다는 각종 기록이나 설화는 매우 많았음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 전통은 현재 동해안에서의 민간신앙 전통에도 영향을 미쳐 마을 단위 제의에서 바다에서의 안전을 도모하기 위해 삼척과 울진을 비롯하여 울릉도에서도 하위 제차로 용왕제를 지내고 있음을 폭넓게 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 이사부 장군의 출항지로 여겨지는 오십천 하구의 사직동 서낭당에서 모시는 신령은 성황ㆍ토지신과 함께 용왕을 위패 형태로 모시고 있으며, 인근의 근덕 덕산 서낭당에서도 용왕을 모신다. 이를 통해 동해안에서 용왕을 모신 전통은 매우 오래되었으며, 그 형식은 산신이나 성황신을 협시하는 형태로 모시거나, 마을 고사를 지낼 때 하위 제차로 용왕제를 지내고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 이사부 장군이 울릉도 복속을 위한 작전에서의 안전과 승리를 위해 행하였을 종교의례에서 상당신으로 天神이나 山神 등을 모셨고, 안전을 기원하기 위한 하위 제차에서 용왕을 모신 용왕제를 지냈을 것으로 추정할 수 있다.

The primary purpose of this research is to analyze the formation of international custom of medieval East Asia under the system of the Great Ming Code. It focuses on Korea’s policies regarding Japanese crimes in the fifteenth century. This study particularly investigates how the Great Ming Code affected the East Asian system of order. We find that Confucianism, which was the basis for the Great Ming Code, had a great influence on the formation of customs in East Asia in such areas as the establishment of patriarchal authority, filial piety, and the five punishments system. This study also investigates how etiquette, which served as a foundation for diplomatic regulations, affected Korea-Japan relations during the fifteenth century. It also analyzes Joseon (Korea)’s control policies against illegal acts committed by the Japanese, who tried to enter Joseon for economic gain, from the perspective of the Great Ming Code.

This study examined the effects of custom-made foot orthotics on the temporal-spatial gait parameters in children with cerebral palsy. Twenty spastic bilateral cerebral palsy (spastic CP) children (11 boys and 9 girls) participated in this study. GAITRite was used to examine the velocity, cadence, step length differential, step length, stride length, stance time, single support time, double support time, base of support, and toe angle while walking with and without foot orthotics. The differences in temporal-spatial parameters were analyzed using paired t-test. The significance level was set at .05. The velocity, cadence, both step lengths, both stride lengths, both bases of support and right toe angle significantly increased when the children with spastic CP with foot orthotics compared to without foot orthotics (p<.05). The step length differential between the two extremities, left stance time and left single support time, significantly decreased with foot orthotics (p<.05). Right stance time, right single support time, both double support times and left toe angle showed little change (p>.05). This study demonstrated that foot orthotics were beneficial for children with spastic CP as a gait assistance tool.

인간의 감성은 개인이 생활을 통하여 갖게 되는 자신의 기준에 의하여 동일한 외부자극에 대해서도 다양하게 나타난다. 이러한 감성은 성별이나 연령, 민족성 또는 거주 지역에 따라 동일한 칼라영상에 대해 다른 감성평가를 내릴 수 있다는 것이다. 이 개인적 기준은 논리적인 계산에서와 같이 단계적으로 적용되는 것이라기보다는 외부자극이 인식되는 과정에서 동시에 적용되고 주관성, 다의성, 애매 모호성, 상황 의존성이라는 성질을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이미지가 가지는 내재정보(RGB 컬러, HSI 공간 등)를 사용하여 특징점을 추출하고, 추출된 특징점에 따른 감성 분류를 사용하여 인간의 감성을 분석하는 감성 인식 모델을 설계하였다.

Custom is a source of Islamic law in general and Siyar (Islamic international law) in particular. Islamic jurists have set out the elements and conditions of customs for general jurisprudential purpose. However, no one has, to the authors’knowledge, formulated them from Siyar perspective. This paper is an attempt to fill this gap by tracing two important elements of an international custom, namely frequent and dominant general practice of States, and acceptance of that practice as law. These two will constitute a valid custom provided they fulfill certain conditions, most importantly that the custom must not conflict with Shari’ah or the spirit of Shari’ ah.

Yacht 진동은 여객의 안락감을 결정하거나 승조원의 근무환경에 미치는 영향이 크므로 매우 중요하다. 이와 같이 Yacht의 안락감을 결정하는 진동은 선박의 속도를 좌우하는 추진방식의 발달과 가장 밀접한 관계가 있다. Yacht를 비롯한 선박에서는 추진력을 발생하기위하여 성능이 뛰어난 내연기관이 설치되어지고 내연기관의 연속적인 폭발과정에서 기인하는 강력한 진동이 발생하게 된다. 진동 환경에 인체가 노출 되는 경우, 진동이 인체에 미치는 피해는 생리적인 피해와 심리적인 피해로 발생하게 된다. 선내의 진동에 대한 평가는 국제표준화지침인 ISO 6954 : 2000(E)에 의해 정하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박에서 진동이 인체에 미칠 수 있는 영향을 평가하기위해 ISO 6954 : 2000(E)에서 규정하 는 지침에 의해 Yacht진동의 침실(거주구역), 작업실(기관제어실)등에서 발생하는 진동의 크기를 측정 비교하여 평가한다.

인체의 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 자유 곡면은 현대생활의 많은 부분에서 필요하지만 그 개발은 복잡하여 수리적으로 단순한 모델링을 하기가 어렵다. CAD를 이용하여 모델링을 하기도 하지만 이런 경우 특성점을 입력하여야 하는데 자유 곡면에서는 특성점을 찾기가 어렵기 때문에 역공학을 이용하여 모델링한다. 본 논문에서는 자유 곡면으로서 인체의 특성에 잘 맞는 개인 맞춤형 곡면을 모델링하여 이를 공작기계에서 가공하는 방법에 대하여 연구한다. 자전거의 안장은 자유 곡면으로서 개인의 신체특성에 맞도록 설계하며 역공학의 방법을 이용하여 모델링한다. CAD를 이용하여 수정하고 이를 가공하기 위한 공구경로를 생성한다. 가공경로를 그래픽 시뮬레이션으로 검증 하고 이를 3축 공작기계에서 생산하여 안장곡면 생산을 위한 금형개발의 기초로 하는 것이 본 연구의 주요 내용이다.

This is the research on the observing annual customs, the annual custom foods and the application of the annual custom foods to the school foodservice. We sample 419 housewives live in Kyungnam area and 174 dieticians work at the primary and secondary schools. Annual customs the housewives and dieticians observe at high degree are Chuseok, Seolral, Jeongwoldaeboreum, Dongji, Chopail, Sambok etc. The housewives observe more Seolral, Chuseok and Dongji than the dieticians and the dieticians observe more Sambok than the housewives.(P<.001) When they provide school foodservice, the dieticians observe Dongji at the highest degree. In Kyungnam they eat most the gakjongnamul as annual custom foods on Chuseok and Seolral. They eat most ogokbap and mugeunnamul on Jeongwoldaeboreum, minarinamul on Chopail, and samgyetang on Sambok and patjuk on Dongji as the annual custom foods. Most of dieticians (94.3%) answer that it is good to provide annual custom foods as the school foodservice on annual customs. However, they indicate some practical problems to do such as inadequacy of the school cooking facilities, its not suiting students' tastes, etc. The rate of housewives' answers that we have to transmit annual customs is higher than that of dieticians.(P<.001) Seolral topped the list of annual customs both housewives and dieticians answer must be transmitted, followed by Chuseok, Jeongwoldaeboreum, Dongji. Dongji is followed by Chopail(P<.001) in the housewives' answers while Sambok(P<.001) in the dieticians' answers. Though most of the respondents know the origins, dates and details of annual customs they think must be transmitted, they don't know well those of the other ones. By their mothers both housewives and dieticians have come to know about annual customs and mostly affected. Secondly housewives affected by their mothers-in-law while dieticians by their school education.(P<.001)

청주지역(淸州地域)의 세시풍속일(歲時風俗日)과 세시음식(歲時飮食)에 관하여 동국세시기(東國歲時記), 열양세시기(洌陽歲時記) 경도잡지(京都雜誌) 등의 문헌(文獻)과 강원지역(江原地域)의 연구(硏究) 결과(結果)를 통하여 비교(比較) 고찰(考察)하였다. 현재 지키고 있는 세시풍속일(歲時風俗日) 중(中) 설날과 추석은 어느 가정(家庭)이든 지키고 있었으며, 정월, 대보름, 동지, 삼복, 초파일 순(順)으로 많이 지키고 있었으나 그 외 세시퐁속일(歲時風俗日)은 잊혀져가고 있으며 주오하절, 중원, 남향은 지키고 있지 않았다. 또한 세시음식(歲時飮食)은 설날과 추석에 해 먹고 있는 음식(飮食)의 종류가 다양했으며, 설날의 떡국과 만두, 정월대보름의 오곡밥, 묵은 나물과 부럼, 추석의 송편, 동지의 팥죽은 대다수의 가정(家庭)에서 해 먹고 있는 것으로 나타났으나 그 외 세시음식(歲時飮食)은 해 먹은 율(率)이 낮거나 거의 잊혀져가고 있다. 일제하의 강압과 해방 후의 서구화(西歐化)에 너무 치우쳐 전통문화(傳統文化)는 소멸되어왔지만, 공업화(工業化)가 가속되어도 우리의 농경문화(農耕文化)나 세시풍속((歲時風俗)들 그리고 우리의 전통문화(傳統文化)는 견재해가면서 국제화(國際化)에 대처해 나가야 할 것이다. 또한 국제화(國際化)와 전통문화(傳統文化)는 결코 언제나 상반된 것이 아니므로 오히려 세계적(世界的)으로 국제화(國際化)는 가속되는 속에서 우리의 전통문화(傳統文化)를 자랑스럽게 여기며, 내세우고 관광자료(觀光資料)로 활용하는 것도 좋은 방안이라 생각된다. 앞으로 각 지역별로 세시음식(歲時飮食)에 관한 조사연구(調査硏究)가 이루어져 비교해볼 수 있어야 하겠다.

Common wheat has complex genome composition of homoeologous hexaploid (AABBDD, 2n = 6x = 42) and each homoeologous genome has high similarity. Due to these complexity, wheat genome study is a large challenge to researchers for genomic and genetic study. We analyzed expressions of individual wheat genome and rye genome specific transcripts using custom array with 2BS.2RL wheat-rye translcoation. Genomic probes were synthesized within each diploid progenitors (AA, BB, DD, 2n = 14, respectively) of wheat, common wheat, and rye (RR, 2n = 14). Total RNA isolated from seedlings of T. urartu, Ae. speltoides, Ae. squarrosa, ‘Chinese Spring’, ‘Chaupon’, and 2BS.2RL were hybridized on arrays. Each homoeologous gene differentially expressed in hexaploid wheat and rye were identified on the custom array and the transcripts were clustered based on hybridization values. qRT-PCR was performed to verify the custom array result with a set of five genes by highly replicated experiments (three biological and three technical replications). The qRT-PCR results demonstrated genome specific expression of five genes in sympathy with array results. Here we provide information of each individual genome specific transcripts and it will we a useful data to study complex wheat genome compositions.
