이수식 쉴드 TBM 공법에서 발생하는 부산물인 필터케이크를 유동성 채움재로의 재활용 가능성을 평가하기 위해 다양한 기초 실험을 수행하였다. 필터케이크를 굵은골재 및 잔골재와 혼합하여, 필터케이크의 함량 비율을 증가시키면서 세 가 지 배합(Case 1, Case 2, Case 3)을 구성하였다. 강도 발현을 위한 바인더로는 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용하였으며, 물- 시멘트비(w/c)를 변화시켜 플로우 시험, 블리딩 시험, 압축강도 시험을 통해 유동성 채움재로서의 가능성을 평가하였다. 시험 결과, 필터케이크 함량이 증가할수록 혼합물의 유동성은 저하되었으며, 이를 보완하기 위해 혼합수의 양을 증가시 키며 적정한 범위의 유동성을 확보하도록 하였으나, 혼합수의 양이 많아질수록 압축강도가 크게 감소하는 경향을 보였 다. 특히, 필터케이크 함량이 가장 높은 Case 3에서는 이러한 현상이 두드러지게 나타났으며, 반면 필터케이크 함량이 적 은 Case 1에서는 상대적으로 높은 강도가 발현되었다. 또한, 필터케이크 함량이 적을수록 혼합물의 유동성은 혼합수량에 민감하게 변화하였다. 블리딩은 필터케이크의 혼합 비율에 영향을 받았으며, 필터케이크 함량이 가장 높은 Case 3에서 블리딩이 가장 적게 발생하였다. 이는 필터케이크의 높은 수분 흡수율이 블리딩 감소에 영향을 미친 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 유동성, 강도, 블리딩 사이의 균형을 맞추기 위한 적절한 배합비 설정을 통해 TBM 공법 부산물인 필터케이크는 유 동성 채움재로 재활용 가능성이 높을 것으로 평가하였다.
고속도로는 콘크리트 포장을 사용하는 경우 장수명 포장을 적용하여 공용수명을 증진시키고 차단을 최소화 하여 사용자 편의성을 높이는 방향으로 패러다임이 변화하고 있다. 이때 연속철근 콘크리트 포장(이하:CRCP)는 세계적으로 검증된 장수명 포장으로 국내는 일반 토공구간에 사용하고 터널의 경우 철근으로 인한 공사차량 진입로가 확보되지 않아 JCP를 사용하고 있는 실정이다. 터널 내부는 눈비가 오는 경우에도 포장에 직접 접하지 않아 제설제를 뿌릴 필요가 없어 철근 부식의 우려가 적고 하부 지지력이 크며 온도변화가 작아 토공구간에 적용할 때 보다 공용수명이 늘어나는 장점이 있다. 터널에 CRCP를 적용하는 경우 일반구간과 다른 설계를 적용해야 하며 시험시공을 수행하기 위한 국내외 사례조사를 실시하여 적용 방향 수립에 참고하였다. 국내는 JCP 설계 지침을 통해 포장 두께 및 타이바 설치방법을 제시하나 국내 CRCP 특성을 고려하고 있지 못하고 있는 상태로 일본의 경우 일반 구간 보다 얇은 두께를 적용하며 동일한 철근비를 적용해 철근비 감소에 따라 터널 입출구에서 발생할 수 있는 배근 전이구간 발생, 열화 발생에 장점을 가지는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한, 아스콘 포장과 접하는 경우 전이슬래브를 설치하여 연결하는 것이 조사되었고 미국에서도 전이 슬래브를 통해 단부에서 발생하는 수축/팽창을 흡수하고 아스콘 포장과 접속부 역할을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이 조사되었다. 국내외 사례와 국내 CRCP의 현재 설계기준은 시험시공을 위한 설계방향 설정에 사용하는 것이 합리적으로 판단되었다. 시험시공 구간 철근비는 토공구간 기준 철근비(0.68%)와 최소 철근비(0.60%)를 적용해 계측을 통해 국내에 적합한 철근비를 도출하되 시공구간 전후에서 아스콘 포장과 연결되므로 전이슬래브를 도입/검토하여 국내에 적합한 설계를 도출하는 것이 필요한 것으로 사료되었다.
본 연구는 농촌에 거주하는 여성 노인을 대상으로 농장방문형 치유농업 프로그램의 효과를 확인하고자 실시한 연구이다. 대상자에게 실시된 치유농업 프로그램은 2023년 6월 22일부터 9월 14일까지 주1회, 회당 3시간씩, 총 12회기로 구성되었다. 매 활동시 대상자들이 치유농장에 방문하여 다양한 원예활동과 농장 내 텃밭 정원을 가꾸는 활동을 실시하였다. 참여대상은 평균 연령 75.38세의 여성 노인 8명이었으며, 치유농업 프로그램 참여에 따른 대상자들의 정신건강 변화를 확인하고자 삶의 만족도, 고독감, 사회적지지 평가를 총 4회(사전, 4회차, 8회차, 12회차) 실시하였다. 조사 결과는 IBM SPSS 25 통계 패키지를 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, Friedman 검정을 실시하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 프로그램 진행에 따라 전반적으로 대상자들의 정신건강이 증진된 것으로 확인되었으며, 특히 삶의 만족도와 사회적지지는 통계적으로 유의미한 수준으로 변화된 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
본 연구는 일회성 발목가동성 운동프로그램이 만성적인 발목불안정성(CAI)에 나타나는 발목가 동범위와 통증 수준에 미치는 영향을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상자는 발목불안정성 설문지 검사에 서 좌, 우측 평균 점수가 24점 이하인 성인여성 20명을 선정 하였으며 집단은 일회성 발목 가동성 운동프 로그램 집단(Ankle mobility exercise program, AE, n=10)과 대조군(CON, n=10)으로 구분하였다. AE 처 치는 일회성 운동에 대한 반응을 확인하기 위해 좌·우측 발목을 각각 1회(20분) 실시하였으며 처치 전후 발목불안정성 검사, 통증 및 발목가동범위를 확인하였다. 먼저 AE 프로그램을 실시한 AE 집단의 통증 수 준은 사전과 비교하여 사후 유의하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다(p<.01). 또한 AE 프로그램 처치한 AE 집 단에서 배측굴곡이 사전과 비교하여 증가하는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 이러한 결과를 종합해 보면 일회성 발목 가동성 운동 프로그램은 CAI에서 나타나는 발목 통증과 발목의 가동범위를 개선시켜 결과적으로 발 목 불안정성을 완화시킬 수 있는 효과적인 운동 중재 방법이라고 생각된다.
The domestic shipbuilding industry is building high-value-added ships such as LNG and LPG, and the demand for natural gas, a clean energy source, is continuously increasing. Climate change, such as global warming, is occurring due to rising oil prices and excessive use of fossil fuels. To protect their homes from the changing environment, 121 countries announced intensive climate target policies to reduce carbon emissions to 0% by 2050. In this study, modeling and design were performed using SUS410 and SUS304L about the operating part of the Pilot valve based on the physical properties of the aluminum alloy used in the Pilot valve, a component of the gas pressure Regulating valve for LNG ships. Numerical We want to develop the optimal Pilot valve by comparing and analyzing the results using ANSYS, an analysis simulation program.
Background: In terms of physical performance, elastic tape (ET) is known to contribute to injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Objects: This study aimed to compare and analyze the effect on lower extremity muscle activity of young adult women with and without ET during squats.
Methods: In this study, six healthy, young women were recruited as participants in a university laboratory. Participants were allocated to two groups of three after measuring muscle activity in a pre-test, and the experiment was conducted for a total of two weeks (two sessions). First, 10 half squats were taped once in the first week, and 10 half squats were performed without taping in the second week. The other group did this in reverse and measured muscle activity after the squat was over.
Results: As a result of this study, there was no significant difference in the quadriceps with or without ET (Z = –0.11, p > 0.05). Similarly, no significant difference was found in hamstring (Z = –0.31, p > 0.05).
Conclusion: No beneficial effect was found on changes in muscle activity following ET application during squats. Further studies require randomized controlled trials that increase the number of participants and the intensity of the intervention, and measure pain, function, and performance rather than muscle properties depending on the biomechanical lifting mechanism.
Background: Swallowing disorder is a common disease that can cause various complications such as malnutrition, dehydration, aspiration pneumonia, and poor quality of life, and can affect people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Swallowing disorder rehabilitation is a complex process involving various skills such as exercise, diet modification, and posture adjustment. This study implements a rehab program for swallowing disorders using the Kinesio Tapping technique. Design: Prospective pilot case study. Objectives: To improve laryngeal detachment by providing external support to the muscles involved in swallowing using kinesio taping for conventional complex swallowing disorder rehabilitation. Methods: The study included 16 participants who were diagnosed with swallowing difficulties after a stroke and admitted to a rehabilitation ward in Ulsan. The average age of the participants, consisting of 9 males and 7 females, was 69.0 years (SD=1.23) and 64.0 years (SD=1.45), respectively. The stroke types were hemorrhagic and infarction, with onset periods ranging from 6 to 12 months (SD=1.11) in all participants. Each participant received a video fluoroscopy study (VFSS) for six months using the taping method developed by the research team. Kinesio taping techniques were developed by two professional physical therapists and one occupational therapist based on anatomical movements. Results: Significant differences were observed in self-training on the bed after the rehabilitation program compared to the initial period Kinesio taping can help improve laryngeal dislocation and reduce the risk of aspiration by providing external support to the muscles involved in swallowing. However, the effectiveness and optimal application techniques of kinesio taping in the rehabilitation of swallowing disorders are not yet clear. Conclusion: The results of this study could lead to the development of a new treatment protocol that incorporates kinesio taping as a standard therapy for the rehabilitation of swallowing disorders in bedridden patients.
본 연구는 실봇을 병용한 인지강화 프로그램이 주관적 기억력 저하를 호소하는 노인의 인지기 능, 우울 및 치매예방행위에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상자는 경기도 성남시에 거주하는 노인 17명을 대상으로 복지관에서 수행되었다. 실봇과 인지강화를 병용한 총 20회기 프로그램을 개발하여 적용 하였으며 중재 전과 후에 한국 몬트리올 인지평가(K-MoCA), 우울(GDS), 치매예방행위(DPB)를 평가하였 다. 연구결과, 실봇을 병용한 인지강화 프로그램은 노인의 인지기능(t=-4.49, p<.001), 우울(t=2.58, p=.023)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 실봇을 병용한 인지강화 프로그램이 노인의 인지기 능 향상 및 우울 완화에 유용한 프로그램이 될 것으로 기대된다.
This study aimed to analyze the effects of REDD+ activities such as education, cookstove incentives and Community Forestry (CF) membership on poverty alleviation through the mediating effects of social capital, including network, trust, cooperation and social inclusion. We collected data through a field survey from randomly selected 335 households in the REDD+ pilot sites, including Kyauktaga and Minhla townships in Bago Province, Myanmar. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that social capital has significant impact on poverty reduction. Specifically, social inclusion showed a direct impact on poverty reduction. While REDD+ activities such as education and CF membership had impacts on income generation, the impacts were insufficient to realize poverty alleviation. Forest dependents are relatively poor, which implies that forest activities are limited in achieving poverty alleviation through income level improvement. We found that the intervention of the REDD+ program on local communities may contribute to the accumulation of social capital, thereby reducing poverty.
Background: There is a research report that lumbar mobilization for healthy people improves the knee extension angles and Q-angle related muscle activity (Q: quadriceps muscle). However, there is a lack of research on the effect of lumbar mobilization on gait variables such as cadence and gait speed, especially when mobilizing the central part of the lumbar spine from posterior to anterior.
Objectives: To examine the effect of lumbar central PA mobilization in healthy people on cadence and gait speed.
Design: Pilot study.
Methods: There were 34 participants in this study. In the experimental group, lumbar posterior-anterior joint mobilization was performed once in Grade III-IV for 5 minutes, focusing on the segment with reduced movement. In the control group, lumbar posteroanterior mobilization was performed once in a total of Grade I-II for 5 minutes. To measure cadence and gait speed, STT-IWS and iSen System (San Sebastian, Spain) were used.
Results: The comparison of cadence between groups, CG (Control group) increased cadence was about 6 more than EG (Experimental group) cadence, but it was not statistically significant. The gait speed of EG and CG was .30- .31, which was similar between the two groups, and the before and after values were also similar. There is no statistically significant difference
Conclusion: The cadence and gait speed of the experimental group were not statistically significantly different than those of the placebo group.
Epididymal sperm cryopreservation provides a potential method for preserving genetic material from males of endangered species. This pilot study was conducted to develop a freezing method for tiger epididymal sperm. We evaluated post-thaw sperm condition using testes with intact epididymides obtained from a Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica ) after castration. The epididymis was chopped in Tyrode's albumin-lactate-pyruvate 1x and incubated at 5% CO2, 95% air for 10 min. The Percoll separation density gradient method was used for selective recovery of motile spermatozoa after sperm collection using a cell strainer. The spermatozoa were diluted with modified Norwegian extender supplemented with 20 mM trehalose (extender 1) and subsequent extender 2 (extender 1 with 10% glycerol) and frozen using LN2 vapor. After thawing at 37℃ for 25 s, Isolate® solution was used for more effective recovery of live sperm. Sperm motility (computerized assisted sperm analysis, CASA), viability (SYBR-14 and Propidium Iodide) and acrosome integrity (Pisum sativum agglutinin with FITC) were evaluated. The motility of tiger epididymal spermatozoa was 40.1 ± 2.0%, and progressively motile sperm comprised 32.7 ± 2.3%. Viability was 56.3 ± 1.6% and acrosome integrity was 62.3 ± 4.4%. Cryopreservation of tiger epididymal sperm using a modified Norwegian extender and density gradient method could be effective to obtain functional spermatozoa for future assisted reproductive practices in endangered species.
Background: Although various conventional approaches have been employed to reduce spasticity in neurological rehabilitation, only a few studies have shown scientific evidence for its effectiveness. Thus, we introduced a different concept (Ueda method) of rehabilitation therapy that can complement the limitations of conventional therapy.
Objects: This study aimed to investigate the immediate effects of the application of the Ueda method on patients with spasticity after stroke via an electrophysiological study.
Methods: We conducted a randomized double-blind pilot study in two rehabilitation hospitals involving 30 stroke patients who were randomly allocated to the Ueda (n = 15) and convention (n = 15) groups. Electromyographic data of six examined muscles in both upper extremities of all patients were recorded. The A-ApA index and activation ratios of upper extremity muscles were evaluated and compared between the groups to confirm post-intervention changes in upper-extremity flexor spasticity and flexion synergies. Repeated-measures analysis of variance was conducted to confirm the therapeutic effect (2 × 2) as a function of group (Ueda vs. convention) and time (pre-/post-intervention) on all outcome measures (p < 0.05).
Results: In the Ueda group, the mean A-ApA index values differed significantly before and after the intervention (p = 0.041), indicating a weak evidence level; however, the effect size was medium (d = –0.503). The interaction effects of the A-ApA index between the Ueda and convention groups and between pre-intervention and post-intervention stages were significant (p = 0.012). The effect size was large (np 2 = 0.220). In the Ueda group, the activation ratios of the anterior deltoid fiber significantly decreased after the intervention in all reaching tasks.
Conclusion: The Ueda method reduces upper-extremity flexor spasticity and changes its synergy in stroke patients and should be considered a rehabilitation therapy for spastic stroke patients.
In September and October 2020, combined acoustic and trawl surveys were conducted in the northwestern sea of Jeju Island. In the survey area, a region, so called Jeju region, was designated to esimate the biomass of chub mackerel and jack mackerel using a trawl survey method and frequency difference method. In the September survey, the weight ratios of jack mackerel and chub mackerel to the total catch were 24.6% and 2.8%, respectively, and in the October survey, those ratios were 24.9% and 20.7%, which were used to calculate their biomass (trawl survey). Using the frequency difference range (–8 to –3dB) corresponding to two species in 120 and 200 kHz, their biomass was estimated (frequency difference method). As a result, the biomass of two species from the trawl method was 3252.3 tons in September and 5777.0 tons in October. The estimated biomass by the frequency difference method was 4926.6 tons in September and 7521.5 tons in October. It was the first trial to estimate the biomass of two species using the trawl and frequency differencing methods in South Korea although there were some differences between two methods. In addition, horizontal distributions of acoustic backscattering strength over the entire survey area were mapped.
도선사가 되려는 사람은 선장 경력을 갖추고 도선수습생 전형시험과 도선사 시험에 합격한 다음에 해양수산부장관의 면허를 받아야 한다. 우리나라는 정부에서 도선 수요를 감안하여 도선사 면허의 수(數)를 제한하고 있어서 도선사 면허를 위한 도선수습생전형시 험은 절대적 평가기준 없이 응시자 시험성적에 따라 상대평가를 실시함에 따라 문제의 소지가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 도선사 시험제도 에 대한 문제점을 도출하여 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 도선사 시험제도 변천 내역을 조사하였고, 도선사 자격기준 에 관한 국제기준을 분석하고 현직 도선사 77명에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 연구의 결과로써 국내 도선수습생 전형시험의 개선방 안과 도선사 자격증명 제도개선의 단계적 실행방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 도선사 자격증명에 관한 정부의 정책 개발뿐만 아니 라 관련 학술적 기초자료도 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
