        Porous graphene oxide (P-GO) was successfully synthesized by using a simple glucose mediated hydrothermal method form prepared graphene oxide (GO). Then the P-GO was characterized by X-ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform Infrared (FITR), Raman, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis to determine the crystallinity, surface functionality, surface defect, surface area and porous nature of the material. For the comparative properties studies with P-GO, the synthesised GO was also characterised using the aforementioned analytical techniques. The formation of macroporous 2D sheet-like structure of P-GO with pore size diameters of 0.2–0.5 μm was confirmed by FESEM and TEM images. The surface area of P-GO was found to be 1272 m2/ g which is much higher compare to GO (i.e., 172 m2/ g) because of porous structure. P-GO was used for the adsorptive removal of F− ions from water using batch adsorption method. The highest adsorption occurs in the pH range of 5–7 with maximum adsorption capacity of 1272 mg/g. The experimental data revealed that the adsorption process obeys Langmuir monolayer isotherm model. The kinetic analysis revealed that the adsorption procedure is extremely rapid and mainly fit to the Pseudo-second-order (PSO) model. The effect of co-existing ions on fluoride adsorption capacity by P-GO decreases in the following order: PO4 3− > CO3 2− > SO4 2− > HCO3 − > NO3 − > Cl−. The mechanism of adsorption of fluoride onto the P-GO surface includes electrostatic interactions and hydrogen bonding.

        In this study, the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of twisting in the preparation of waterproofing in the process of unfolded donut-type staking method fire hoses in indoor hydrant system. The central pull-out method caused more twisting than the rolling method, and there was no significant difference in the number of twists according to the pull-out method in the case of male and female students. It was found that the time it took to untwist and prepare waterproofing was much shorter for male students. The angle valve and hose are connected, and the time to untwist and prepare for waterproofing after withdrawing the fire hose with the hose and nozzle connected was shorter than the unconnected state. In the rolling method, when a hose connected with two 15 m fire hoses was used and the angle valve-hose was connected, but the hose-nozzle was not connected, the least kinking occurred. The time to untwist and prepare for waterproofing was also the shortest. As a result, in the withdrawal method of the donut-type loaded fire hose in the indoor hydrant system, it is a rolling method rather than a central withdrawal method. With the angle valve and hose connected, unfold the fire hose with the hose and nozzle connected, if a large number of people unwind the twisted hose, the time to prepare for waterproofing can be shortened.

        In this study, a new method of rapid preparation of carbon nanotube (CNT) solution with highly dispersed morphology by free arc excitation is proposed, which shortens the time of the preparation of CNT solution with low concentration. The principle is that the high-energy flow density heat generated by the free arc makes the vaporizable substance coated on the surface of CNTs vaporize rapidly, and then generates the bulk increasing motion, which makes the CNTs aggregates dispersed, and finally forms the CNTs gas-phase dispersion monomer with high dispersion or the cross-linking morphology of few CNTs. In this paper, the influence of gum Arabic (GA) and deionized water (DI water) contents in CNTs mixed electrode on the dispersion of CNTs in different environments (gas phase and liquid phase) is explored. In the limited case of this work, the dispersion effect is better when the mass ratio of CNTs, GA and DI water is 1:0.04:3.96 in the liquid-phase environment. The preparation method reported in this work is expected to be a rapid way to obtain low-concentration nanodispersion.

        본 연구에서는 PCR법을 이용하여 농산물 중 enterotoxin 생성 Clostridium perfringens를 신속 분석할 수 있도록 전처리법을 확립하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 C. perfringens 포자를 상추, 토마토, 고추, 들깻잎에 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107 spore/g 농도로 포자를 접종하였다. 포자가 접종된 농산물들은 pulsifier, stomacher, sonicator로 처리하고 boiling법 혹은 상용화 된 kit로 DNA를 추출한 후 PCR법을 수행하고 검출한계를 비교하였다. 그 결과, 3가지 전처리법에 있어서는 pulsifier가, DNA 추출에 있어서는 상용화된 DNA 추출 kit를 활용하는 것이 농산물 중 C. perfringens의 검출한계를 10-100배 낮출 수 있었다. 특히 들깻잎, 방울토마토처럼 전처리 방법에 따른 탁도의 변화가 큰 농산물은 전처리법과 DNA 추출법이 PCR 반응에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 통해 볼 때 PCR법을 이용한 농산물 중 C. perfringens 를 검출하는데 있어 검출감도를 높이기 위해서는 pulsifier 를 이용하여 전처리하고 상용화된 DNA 추출 kit를 사용하는 것이 적절한 것으로 판단된다.

        In this paper, AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite photocatalyst is successfully synthesized by microemulsion method and anion in situ substitution method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) are used to study the structural and physicochemical characteristics of the AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite composite. Using rhodamine B (RhB) as a simulated pollutant, the photocatalytic activity and stability of the AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite composite under visible light are evaluated. In the AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite visible light system, RhB is nearly 100 % degraded within 15 minutes. And, after five cycles of operation, the photocatalytic activity of AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite remains at 95 % of the original level, much higher than that of pure Ag3PO4 (40 %). In addition, the mechanism of enhanced catalytic performance is discussed. The high photocatalytic performance of AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite composites can be attributed to the synergistic effect of Ag3PO4, diatomite and AgCl nanoparticles. Free radical trapping experiments are used to show that holes and oxygen are the main active species. This material can quickly react with dye molecules adsorbed on the surface of diatomite to degrade RhB dye to CO2 and H2O. Even more remarkably, AgCl/Ag3PO4/diatomite can maintain above 95 % photo-degradation activity after five cycles.

        Salacca peel-based porous carbon (SPPC) with high surface area (1945 m2 g−1) and large specific pore volume (1.68 cm3 g−1) was prepared by pre-carbonization and K2CO3 activation method. Based on the TGA results, it can be estimated that up to 70 wt% of sulfur-active materials could be infiltrated into the pores of SPPC to form SPPC/S composite cathode for LiS battery. The porous structure of SPPC could act as a buffer layer against volume expansion and minimize the shuttle effect due to the penetration of intermediate polysulfides during cycle tests. Optimization on sulfur loading (50, 60 and 70 wt%) in SPPCC/S composite was also investigated. It was found that the SPPC/S composites with 60 wt% of sulfur loading had the best electrochemical performances. With 60 wt% of sulfur loading, SPPC/S composite electrodes showed excellent electrochemical performances in terms of high initial specific discharge capacity of 1006 mAh g− 1 at 0.5 C and capacity retention of 71% until the 100th cycle. For both cases of low and high sulfur loading, they caused much worse electrochemical performances. Based on the experimental results, it can be concluded that porous carbons derived from the salacca peel were promising materials for sulfur loading in LiS battery.

        목적 : 소다-라임-실리카 유리(soda-lime-silica glass,SG) 기판위에 Ti, Ba-naphthenates를 출발원료로 사용하고 졸겔법으로 나노 결정질 TiO2, BaTiO3 박막을 제조하였다. 박막의 특성을 분석하기 위하여 X-선 회절 분석, 전자현미경, UV스펙트럼을 이용하여 연구하였다. 방법 : 코팅용액을 soda-lime-silica glass 기판 위에 스핀코팅하고 공기분위기에서 500℃에서 열분해시켜 박막을 제조하였다. 제조된 TiO2, BaTiO3 박막의 결정화도는 고분해능 X-선 회절분석법으로 그리고 표면미세구조와 거칠기는 전계 방출 현미경과 원자간력 현미경으로 또 자외선(200〜380 nm), 가시광선(380〜750 nm), 적외선(750〜900 nm) 영역의 투과율은 UV-Visible-NIR 분광광도계로 측정되었다. 결과 : TiO2박막은 아나타제 상이 존재하였으며, BaTiO3 박막은 최고 피크가 확인되지 않았다. 열처리한 TiO2, BaTiO3 박막의 가시광선 투과율은 80% 이상의 투과율을 나타냈으며, BaTiO3 박막은 TiO2 박막보다 자외선 및 청광 차단율이 높았다. 결론 : BaTiO3 박막은 TiO2 보다 자외선 및 청광에 대해 더 높은 차단율이 나타냈으며, 가시광선 투과율은 제조된 모든 박막에서 80% 이상의 투과율이 측정되었다.

        현대인의 눈높이에 맞는 친환경적인 고급품질의 인조진주 제품개발이 세계의 악세사리 및 생활용품 시장에서 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 고품질의 인조진주 제품을 경제적으로 대량생산하기 위한 방법으로 유기안료를 인조진주 제조용 친환경 무기안료로 대체하고 기존 제조 방식에서 사용하는 주재료였던 니트로셀룰로오스를 우레탄 바인더로 대체하여 광택도가 73.4%에서 86.7%로 증가하였으며 CVD 마감처리 후에는 96%의 높은 광택도를 가졌다. 색차분석 결과 CVD 코팅으로 인하여 빛의 간섭효과 때문에 a*와 b*값이 각각 +37.7에서 +31.9로, +24.5에서 +14.2로 감소하면서 다양한 색을 발현하여 영롱한 빛깔의 인조진주가 제조되었다. 마감 증착된 고품질의 인조진주의 내화학성, 광택도, 색차계, 표면 거칠기, 내마모성, 중금속함량검사, 염수분무테스트 등을 분석하여 품질향상 및 인체 무해성을 확인하였다.

        The Korean Ministry of Education (MOE) required cash flow statements, instead of fund statements, as a component of the financial statements of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundations (IACF) when it revised IACF accounting rules in 2012. While the fund statements were aligned its accounts to the operating statements’ accounts level, the newly adopted cash flow statements’ accounts retreated to two levels higher than those of the operating statements. It may be resulted from the consideration that IACFs’ burden of preparing cash flow statements especially in direct method. To help IACFs prepare the cash flow statements, MOE's guidance on IACF accounting rules introduced cash flow statement preparation method and presented a practical example, but it did not check whether the accounts of the cash flow statement were reconciled to the accounts of corresponding balance sheet and operating statement. That means that the guidance still lacks how to assure it was accurately prepared. Our study proposed cash flow statement preparation using reconciliation method which reconciles cash flow statement accounts’ amounts to balance sheet and operating statement accounts’ amounts with integrity checking and also provided a practical example by using the same case in MOE’s guidance on IACF accounting rules to help IACF accounting personnel to prepare a cash flow statement efficiently.

        고분자 전해질 연료전지의 연료에 포함된 일산화탄소의 선택적 산화를 위하여, 귀금속 촉매를 대체하기 위한 CuO-CeO2 복합 산화물 촉매를 졸-겔법과 공침법으로 제조하였다. 졸-겔법으로 촉매 제조 시 Cu/Ce의 비와 가수분해 비를 변화시켰다. 제조한 촉매의 활성은 귀금속 촉매(Pt/γ-Al2O3)와 비교하였다. Cu/Ce의 비를 변화시키면서 제조한 촉매 중 Cu/Ce의 비가 4:16인 촉매가 가장 높은 CO 전환율(90%)과 선택도(60%)를 나타내었다. 촉매의 제조에서 가수분해 비가 증가할수록 촉매 표면적이 증가하였고, 아울러 촉매 활성 또한 증가하였다. 공침법으로 제조한 촉매와 1wt% Pt/γ-Al2O3 촉매의 가장 높은 CO 전환율은 각각 82% 및 81%인 반면, 졸-겔법으로 제조한 촉매의 경우는 90%가 얻어졌다. 이는 졸-겔법으로 제조한 촉매가 공침법으로 제조한 촉매나 귀금속 촉매보다 더 높은 촉매활성을 보임을 의미한다. CO-TPD 실험을 통하여, 낮은 온도(140℃)에서 CO를 탈착하는 촉매가 본 반응에서 더 높은 촉매활성을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

        Nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide (N-doped TiO2) is attracting continuously increasing attention as a material for environmental photocatalysis. The N-atoms can occupy both interstitial and substitutional positions in the solid, with some evidence of a preference for interstitial sites. In this study, N-doped TiO2 is prepared by the sol–gel method using NH4OH and NH4Cl as N ion doping agents, and the physical and photocatalytic properties with changes in the synthesis temperature and amount of agent are analyzed. The photocatalytic activities of the N-doped TiO2 samples are evaluated based on the decomposition of methylene blue (MB) under visible-light irradiation. The addition of 5 wt% NH4Cl produces the best physical properties. As per the UV-vis analysis results, the N-doped TiO2 exhibits a higher visible-light activity than the undoped TiO2. The wavelength of the N-doped TiO2 shifts to the visible-light region up to 412 nm. In addition, this sample shows MB removal of approximately 81%, with the whiteness increasing to +97 when the synthesis temperature is 600℃. The coloration and phase structure of the N-doped TiO2 are characterized in detail using UV-vis, CIE Lab color parameter measurements, and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD).

        Spray freeze-drying (SFD) is a comparatively new method of producing biopharmaceutical powder preparations. In this study, Lactobacillus casei (IFO 15883)was spray freeze-dried to obtain a fine probiotic powder. The survival rate of L. casei in the powder after the SFD process was measured using plate agar counting. To improve the survival rate of L. casei during the SFD process, various experimental conditions were carried out. Among five growth media compositions, in Lactobacilli MRS broth with 1% mannose and 0.1% CaCO3, the viability of the freeze-dried powder was not significantly different from that of the initial powder (p>0.05). The most effective air pressure and protective agentduring SFD were 20 kPa and buffered peptone water (BPW), respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was applied to estimate the physical structure and properties of the particles. SFD probiotic particles were of various shapes and sizes with porous structures under different SFD conditions. The average diameter of optimized probiotic powder particles with annealing was 24.8 μm. The survival rate of the final SFD probiotic powder under conditions was 97.7%.

        In this study, a method to produce a fine volatile powder extracted from shiitake mushrooms using spray freeze-drying (SFD) was investigated. The analysis of the water-soluble aromatic compounds was carried out by headspace solid phase micro-extraction (HS-SPME) coupled withgas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and laser particle size analysis were applied to characterizethe physical structure and size distribution of the SFD-derivedparticles. Eleven key volatile compounds were identified in the extracts of shiitake mushroomspre- and post-SFD. Recoveries of aromatic volatiles ranging from 30.9 - 82.9% were observed in the overall flavor profile results from the powder obtained with SFD. SEM analysis demonstrated that the particles of the aromatic powderwere spherical in nature, having highly porous surfaces andmean diameters of 19.3 μm.

        Thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) reverse osmosis (RO) membranes have drawn keen attention to overcome the limitations in polymeric desalination membranes. However, preparation of TFN-RO membranes using conventional protocol involves problems such as a waste of expensive nanomaterials and inaccurate control of loading amount. In this work, we suggest a new protocol of TFN-RO membranes through pre-adsorption of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the support layer using spray coating. SEM images of spray coated supports showed well-dispersed adsorption of CNTs compared with those using conventional method. RO performances of TFN membranes using spray coating were comparable to conventionally prepared membranes. Thus, this new protocol is useful to prepare TFN membranes in terms of cost-efficiency.

        최근 먹는물 수질 기준 강화에 따라 정수처리시설에 고분자 나노여과(Nanofilatration, NF)막이 도입되고 있으나, 화학 세정으로 인한 막의 주기적인 교체가 불가피하다. 반면, 세라믹 막은 강한 물리/화학적 내구성을 지니고 있으나, NF막 제조 기술의 한계로 상용화되지 못하고 있다. 연구에서는 알루미나-지르코니아 나노물질을 여과코팅 방법으로 세라믹 막의 평균 공극 크기를 감소시켰고, SEM-EDX, 분획분자량, 자연유기물, 염(CaCl2) 제거를 통해 막의 특성 변화를 분석하였다. 제조된 막은 분획분자량이 400 Da.이고, Suwannee river 자연유기물과 염의 제거율이 각각 92%와 58%였다. 이취미 물질인 지오스민 제거평가 결과, 실험조건에서 65%의 지오스민이 제거됨을 확인하였다.
