In this study, we focus on the feasibility of structural topology optimization for a steel-timber composite beam design of optimally allocating glue-laminated timbers into a web with openings under the condition of given steel flanges. The motivation of this study is to topologically take maximal stiffness harmonizing both tension and compression performance of the steel-timber composite beam and become the eco-frandly timber design for buidling members. As a result of this study, the key web-openings allocation becomes triangle spaces, i.e., empty or no materials, of optimal topologies of both a pure timber plate and a steel flange-web timber plate without web-openings. Several applicable examples verify the effectiveness of topology optimization for steel-timber beams with web-openings.
This study about hotel bookings in Spain analyzes the influence of three low price signals and the type of distribution channel on perceived value and behavioral intentions: Positive influences on perceived value and buying intention were found for price beating guarantee and for always low price signals but the distribution channel was only found to have an effect on behavioral intentions. Finally, it has been detected that gender plays a moderating role on both perceived value and buying intention.
This paper describes the structural design and optimization of sinusoidally corrugated web girder by using EUROCODE (EN 1993-1-5). The optimum design methodology and characteristics of the optimal cross-section are discussed. We investigate a shear buckling and the concerned standards for corrugated web and explain the equations to obtain a critical stress according to buckling type. In order to perform optimization, we consider an objective function as minimum weight of the girder and use the constraint functions as slenderness ratio and stresses of flanges as well as corrugated web and deflection. Genetic Algorithm is adopted to search a global optimum solution for this mathematical model. For numerical example, the clamped girder under the concentrated load is considered, while the optimum cross-sectional area and design variables are analyzed. From the results of the adopted example, the optimum design program of the sinusoidally corrugated web girder is able to find the suitable solution which satisfied a condition subject to constraint functions. The optimum design shows the tendency to decrease the cross-sectional area with the yielding strength increase and increase the areas with load increase. Moreover, the corrugated web thickness shows a stable increase concerning the load.
기능성 교육용게임에서, 가장 이상적인 형태는 재미도 있고 교육 효과도 좋은 경우일 것이다. 본 논문에서는 성인에 비해서 집중력이 낮은 초등학생의 회화식 영어 교육을 위해서 웹 기반의 MMORPG 게임을 설계 개발 하였다. 유선 및 무선 인터넷 접속을 통하여 타인과 협동, 경쟁심을 키워주어 초등학생의 영어 학습 능력을 높여 주는 효과를 누릴 수 있게 하였다. 이를 통하여 게임 산업의 다양성을 추구하고자 한다. 또한 향후에는 스마트폰과의 연동을 위한 UI 및 게임콘텐츠 업데이트를 하고자 한다
This study proposes a collaboration system framework on the web service in a supply chain to implement an efficient virtual supply chain and improve an ability to fulfill received orders over a supply chain. The system based on the framework proposed in this paper plays an important role for automatic order negotiation and placing/receiving an order noticed in web service by the main system. Furthermore, it can evaluate the fulfillment of received orders over a supply chain by using the transaction results from hierarchically related vendors and establish efficient manufacturing plans. In a word, this system is the automated system for creating manufacturing plans, placing and receiving orders. A little more important main function of this system is that it has a dynamic evaluation capability about fulfillment with received orders over a supply chain, and improves the evaluation method of fulfillment ability with received orders with related to direct dealing vendors, which is a main problem in existing system. As a result, this system is able to reduce the work load of the sales and purchasing materials, production control division, to manage accurate inventory promptly, to maintain the optimal inventory level by analyzing the information of fulfillment ability with received orders, and to enhance the level of service for customers.
본 연구는 고령자들이 웹을 통하여 보다 쉽게 제품을 구입할 수 있는 실버용품 쇼핑 웹 사이트 디자인에 대하여 연구하였다. 본 연구에서 다루게 될 항목은 제품 검색 단계에서의 메뉴디자인, 제품 고르기 단계에서의 이미지 배열 방식과 사용설명서의 제공방식, 제품 구매단계에서의 결제방식이다. 먼저 현황 조사를 통하여 국내에 개설되어 있는 실버용품 쇼핑 웹 사이트의 각 항목에 대한 디자인 유형을 파악한 후 실험 평가도구를 디자인하여 개발하였다. 개발된 평가도구를 61명의 고령자를 대상으로 혈압계를 찾아 구입하는 과제를 부과하여 사용하게 한 뒤 설문조사와 심층면접을 통하여 사용하기 편리한 디자인에 관한 선호도 조사를 실시하였다. 선호도 조사 결과를 바탕으로 고령자가 실버용품 쇼핑 웹 사이트를 통해 제품을 구입할 때, 고령자의 관점에서 가장 사용하기 편하면서 보기 편한 디자인을 연구하여 제시하였다.
According to the rapid evolution of information technology, the salesperson's business efficiency and faster information sharing within the enterprise that need to improve competitiveness has been increasing steadily. In general, many companies has been managed the sales through the ERP system. However, the ERP informations as a result of operating activities can not perform customer maintenance activities from strategic planning. Therefore, a series of sales activities information as corporate intellectual assets is needed strategic business solutions for managing it. In this study, the web-based SFA systems were designed for salesperson. Salespersons improve the efficiency of the business through management and improvement activities of sales information. The systematic customer information management contribute to improving the company's revenue through improved customer service satisfaction.
이 연구에서는 동적 애니메이션 지도 제작을 위해 HTML5 Canvas와 OGC의 WMS 시간 차원 정보를 활용하였다. 동적 애니메이션 지도는 플러그인 없이 구동이 가능하기 때문에 플랫폼에 독립적인 특징을 가진다. WMS 시간 차원 정보는 사용자가 연속적인 지도 정보를 전송 받을 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. HTML5 Canvas로는 애니메이션 지도를 표출하고, 지속시간, 시점, 순서와 같은 동적 변수를 조정할 수 있는 컨트롤 구현이 가능하였다. HTML5 Canvas와 WMS는 모바일 웹 기반의 동적 애니메이션 지도 제작을 위한 기능적 요구 사항을 충분히 지원하는 것으로 평가된다.
Web 2.0 communities are providing new opportunities for teachers’ professional development by supporting more flexible sharing, communicating, and collaborating among teachers at a distance. Meanwhile, literature concerning teachers’ professional development increasingly places value on communities of practice and web-based learning communities. This paper presents a case study on the design of teacher training supported by a Web 2.0 community. The training program discussed in the paper is characterized by employing peer-coaching to facilitate teachers’ learning in a Web 2.0 community, and is a part of a project funded by the Ford Foundation. The paper gives a brief introduction to the training program, and reports some important findings and reflections on design and practice for in-service teacher training. It includes the theoretical framework design, a training model as well as activity design, and the implementation and evaluation of the training program and useful experiences. Initially, taking account school teachers’ needs at the K12 level for curriculum reform and quality education, theory, knowledge and practice competences for learner-centered instruction were examined by using peer-coaching methods supported by online communities. The suggested training program was delivered in two Chinese districts in August 2009: Tianhe district of Guangzhou, and Wuhou district of Chengdu. More than 120 participants, including subject teachers, school principals and local teaching researchers, took part in the f2f training, online activities and the further practice activities. Even still on-going, the comprehensive investigation and evaluation of the training program explains that the initial results and observations collected during the process of training are very positive. With cause for optimism as to the prospect of achieving the training program’s goals, the study has demonstrated that a task-driven approach and peer-coaching supported by a web 2.0 community are effective methods for in-service teacher training, and that peer-coaching can be greatly extended by out-of-school activities.

본 연구는 다른 분야에서 성공적으로 활용되고 있는 다양한 추천 기법들을 비교하는 사례 연구를 통해 더욱 효과적인 디자인 개인화 서비스 개발의 기회를 모색하고자 하였다. 우선, 문헌연구를 통하여 '컨텐츠 기반 기법', '협력적 필터링 기법', 그리고 '인구통계적 필터링 기법'과 같은 대표적인 추천 기법들의 특징과 장단점을 고찰하였다. 다음으로 이러한 기법들이 디자인과 같은 컨텐츠를 대상으로 적용되었을 때 예상되는 추천 정확성을 분석하기 위해 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 인구통계적 필터링 기법은 나머지 기법에 비해서 비교적 낮은 정확성을 보였으며 컨텐츠 기반 기법이 가장 좋은 높은 추천 정확성을 나타내었다. 아울러 협력적 필터링 기법은 참여자들의 수가 증가할수록 좀 더 높은 추천 정확성을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 디자인 추천 서비스는 컨텐츠 기반 기법이나 협력적 필터링 기법의 적용을 통해 그 추천 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있으며 대상 사용자의 수가 일정 수준 이상으로 증가된다면 협력적 필터링 기법이 가장 우수한 효율을 나타낼 가능성이 높음을 제시하였다.

The present study aims to design a web-based syllabus for teaching college English. The theoretical premises underlying the study are drawn from recent developments in relevant fields including web-based instruction, classroom observation and supervision, in-service teacher development, and program evaluation. The model is characterized by its learner-centeredness, teacher observation and supervision for professional development, and process-oriented program evaluation. Data for the program evaluation are gathered from various sources such as questionnaire responses, observation records, supervisory notes, teacher diary entries, and assessment. The information from the evaluation is then fed back to improve the course in a cyclical process. Through a small-scale application of the model some suggestions for its effective implementation are made in terms of institutional support, copyright, student autonomy, teacher roles, and e-learning course evaluation.

The box culvert is one of the simple and common structures employed repetitively in construction field. Although parametric computer applications have demonstrated a significant amount of time savings in designing simple and repetitive structures, circulating resultant electronic documents among project participants has not been fully integrated with these applications. This paper presents a development of Web applications to improve the process of a box culvert design and document management using XML and SVG. We developed a parametric Web application in order to facilitate not only engineering design of the box culvert but also management of resultant documents over the Web. This paper presents how XML Data Island and SVG were utilized to generate engineering drawings and display them in the Web page.
