Development, availability and users’ participation in the information service of agricultural food sector is slower than that of other sectors in Korea. This phenomenon comes from the lack of development strategies and comparative analyses with other sectors, as well as the agricultural food industry’s own characteristics which is developed based on the offline market.
In this research, we will discuss about how to improve the public information service of agricultural food sector based on the example of establishing service improvement strategy by the most representative Okdab. In this research, we have drawn the following implications for development strategy of Okdab service based on three core keywords derived from benchmarking KOSIS.
Three core subjects for upgrading public information service are ‘analysis information with expertise and differentiation,’ ‘user cooperation-oriented platform,’ and ‘intuitive nd effective UX,’ and to strength B.I. as an integrated information service of agricultural food sector, we need to identify the users’ satisfaction and needs for the existing service, establish an optimized operating strategy on a short-term, mid-term and long term bases, and implement them in a positive way. Based on this positive action, it can become a trustworthy information service for the users, and we can expect the improvement of the users’ recognition for its consistent usability and efficiency.
Corporation’s valuable intelligent asset is being threatened from the skills of threatening subject that has been evolved along with the growth of the information system and the amount of the information asset. Domestically, attempts of various private information attacks, important information extortion, and information damage have been detected, and some of them have abused the vulnerability of security of information system, and have become a severe social problem that generates security incident. When accessing to the security, most of companies used to establish a strategy with a consistent manner and a solution plan. However, this is not a proper way. The order of priorities vary depending on the types of business. Also, the scale of damage varies significantly depending on the types of security incidents. And method of reaction and critical control point vary depending on the types of business and security incidents. In this study, I will define the security incidents by their types and preponderantly examine how one should react to those security incidents. In this study, analyzed many types of security accidents that can occur within a corporation and an organization considering various factors. Through this analysis, thought about factors that has to be considered by corporations and organizations when they intend to access to the information security. This study focuses on the response methodology based on the analysis of the case analysis of the leakage of industrial secret and private secret other than the conceptual response methodology that examines the way to prevent the leakage of the industry security systems and the industry information activities. And based on these factors, want to be of help for corporations to apply a reasonable approach when they establish a strategy to information security.
Many animals are capable of detecting sensory information emitted by predators. When predation risk is high, orb-web building spiders should change its foraging strategy of the web construction. We examined web building behaviors of an orb-web spider, Argiope bruennichi providing sensory information of its predator, a yellow hornet, Vespa simillima. We observed web characteristics after providing sensory information of the yellow hornet (experimental group; N=29) and compared to the control group (no information provided; N=34). We hypothesized that the spiders in the experimental group would decrease investments in its web construction and stabilimentum decoration to avoid being located by the predator. The results rejected our hypothesis. Web and stabilimentum constructions decreased in the course of the experiment in both control group and experimental group. But the differences between control group and experimental group were not significant. The individuals did not reduce its stabilimentum length and did not decrease its web area in spite of sensory information of the predator.
Under limited resources such as budgets and experts, it is necessary to make decisions for promotion strategy of standardization work items in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). This paper focuses on a method of setting standardization pro

Since 1980's, many enterprises have constructed Strategy Information System and tried BPR, ISP. Also, they implemented ERP and practiced the Process Innovation and Six Sigma for Management Innovation in todays. Although most companies had previous good plans, but those are not satisfied. Because of failed to change management and continued next activity. Many Project for Process innovation are ended as disposal project in my case, if they want next project, they need a new plan which needs additional fund and resource. This paper studied Process Innovation and Six Sigma in many things and proposed new model for continued project on the master plan. Also it proposed next study subject about ERP Optimization and Harmonization after implemented ERP which is considered as next step of PI.
Throughout the Asia-Pacific region, despite government efforts to promote the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in schools, the acceptance and use of these technologies by classroom teachers has been slow to take off. This study focused on ascertaining the effectiveness of a school-based, on-site, and ongoing professional development program conducted in a primary school in Hong Kong. There were training sessions conducted by fellow teachers, and participatory action research groups to share resources and experience in incorporating ICT in teaching. Teachers’ incorporation of computers in teaching was significantly increased in the first year of intervention but showed fluctuation in the second year. A number of explanations for these changes were offered by teachers in their interviews. The lower self-ratings in year two may be due to changes in self-perception rather than changes in actual ability or practices.

As today's Information Technology (IT) becomes more global and specialized the importance of Information Technology Architecture (ITA). Based on the case study of e-commerce, this paper presents a systematic approach to Information Strategy Planning (lSP)
Recently, a number of enterprise have introduced Information Systems(IS) to cope with the rapidly changing circumstances and to improve their competitive advantage and successful implementation of Information Technology influence the success of business. Managements identify that it is necessary for systematic analysis and plan to adopt IS throughout the failure of IS projects. So Information Strategy Planning(ISP) is presented as the alternative. Recent, researches in the ISP have concentrated on the examination of large and successful corporations. For this reason, it is difficult that we apply the result to small and medium sized enterprise(SMEs). Thus, this paper searches characteristic of SMEs form informatization point of view and the ISP approach for successful informatization of SMEs.
Recently, numerous government institutions and information service organizations have shown interests in employing ISO 9001 Quality Management System to increase their organizational performances. However, due to the gap between the system requirements and the process oriented goals in reality, they have not been able to merit from the ISO 9001 system. The primary goal of this paper is to propose a process oriented approach for implementing ISO 9001 system in information service organizations. This approach is different from the existing approaches in that it utilizes process mapping and 3-color improvement strategies. The proposed approach is illustrated using the K information service organization case study.
Water management information system used by KRC(Korea Rural Community Corporation) operates widely including RIMS, RAWRIS and etc. Other systems are operated by each government department, for example, K-water(Korea Water Resources Corporation)’s WAMIS. Even though small scale reservoirs managed by city/country is just about 12% of total water resource, the reservoirs are important for controlling and securing water resource as the reservoirs, including about 14,700 reservoirs nationwide, are located at main subwater shed. So, it is necessary for KRC to execute integrated informatization. In this research, system analysis was performed to comprise the integrated water management information system including the reservoirs controlled by city and country at first. And then, improvement plan for informatization of the reservoirs controlled by city and country was proposed. This study proposed the improvement plan for informatization of the reservoirs managed by the city and country, which was systematically proposed through systemic analysis including from reservoir site to the integrated water management information system. The objects includes 1. Reservoir (basin, facilities, water depth-area curve, benefiter area), 2. Field supervision organization for the reservoir 3. Local government administrative organization, 4. Center organization 5. Network for information transfer, 6. integrated water management information system. As the reservoirs controlled by city and country are important considering managing water and facilities, operated by local government with minimum budget due to budget problem, securing sufficient budget is necessary to form an specialized organization controlling facilities and the water management system in terms of drought and flood control.
Purpose Currently, organizations – must have a plan to achieve their future objectives. In this case, an information strategy facilitates greater success when planning for the future in any organization.
Research design, data, and methodology – The core objective of the project was to explore the information infrastructure of Walkbase in a discursive manner. We started the project by providing a description of the firm, which facilitates retail outlets using in-store analytical devices.
Results – We conclude that the management of Walkbase revised its current information structure to implement a more structured one that might be included in a long-term investment. On such an occasion, management can prioritize the component to develop first.
Conclusions – Along with our results, we also described the business, its products, its facilities, and how it can serve different industries. Finally, we left the prioritization decision within the framework’s components to top management.
Value of rural amenity resources scattered in rural area is difficult to be assessed isolatedly. Rural Amenity Resources Map (RARM) is developed for assessing rural resources based on specific territory. In the developing process, knowledge based system is oriented because rural amenity is differed from personal feeling. Possible decision trees in RARM are developed in reviewing process of previous GIS based decision support systems, and information strategy planning is constructed for achieving goals such as rural tourism, down shifting, and rural investment.
