The popularity of the Korean entertainment industry has been growing worldwide. Various forms of media, such as movies, TV series, music, radio and many more, have been used as a platform to launch and promote new products of many brands. For instance, Laneige – a Korean cosmetic company was successfully placed in the Korean drama – Descendants of the Sun. Previous studies have accounted for various factors in analysing product placement in movies, such as brand familiarity, brand fit, and movie genre. However, the effect of the emotional context of where the product is placed remains unclear. The purpose of the present research is to investigate whether the effectiveness of product placement is influenced by the emotions depicted in the scene, and whether the ethicality of the product matters.

원전 구조물의 실시간 모니터링 기술이 요구되고 있지만, 현재 운영 중인 지진 감시계통으로는 동특성 추출 등 시스템 식별이 제한 된다. 전역적인 거동 데이터 및 동특성 추출을 위해서는 다수의 센서를 최적 배치하여야 한다. 최적 센서배치 연구는 많이 진행되어 왔 지만 주로 토목, 기계 구조물이 대상이었으며 원전 구조물 대상으로 수행된 연구는 없었다. 원전 구조물은 미미한 신호대잡음비에도 강건한 신호를 획득하여야 하며, 모드 기여도가 저차 모드에 집중되어 있어 모드별 잡음 영향을 고려해야 하는 등 구조물 특성을 고려 해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 잡음에 대한 강건도와 모드별 영향을 평가할 수 있는 최적 센서배치 방법론을 제시하였다. 활용한 지표 로서 auto MAC(Modal Assurance Criterion), cross MAC, 노드별 모드형상 분포를 분석하였으며, 잡음에 대한 강건도 평가의 적합성을 수치해석으로 검증하였다.

This study aims to examine whether CEFR-based CELA can be presented as a placement test for TOEIC. Data collected from 1,142 college freshmen who participated in both tests were analyzed to determine: 1) how hypothetical levels of a CELA score differed from existing TOEIC levels; 2) if there was any significant correlation between test scores and final grades; and 3) how native English professors viewed CELA as a placement test. The analysis revealed that CELA did not perform better a placement test than TOEIC. It did not have a higher correlation with the final grade either. However, the fact that CELA is more aligned with the content and objective of the English course and that most native English professors consider CELA more suitable as a placement test can be seen as positive factors supporting it to replace the existing placement test. Results of this study if curriculum and student levels are different.

선박은 육상지원에 제한이 있으므로 심정지 환자발생을 대비하여 AED를 갖추고 올바른 설치와 철저한 관리가 요구된다. 그리고 선원은 AED를 사용할 수 있는 해기능력을 갖추어야 한다. 본 연구는 선박 내 AED 활용성을 높이기 위하여, AED 설치현황과 관리실태 를 파악하고 선원들의 AED 사용능력 및 사용의향을 분석하여 개선방안을 제시하기 위한 조사연구이다. 2019년 9월 9일부터 2020년 2월 20일까지 진행하였으며, 총 244척의 선박과 244명의 선원을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여, 빈도와 백분율, 카이제곱 검정으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, AED 수가 1대인 선박이 대부분이었고, AED 설치 및 관리가 적정하지 못한 선박도 일부 확인되었다. AED 교육참여 경험이 있는 대상자는 142명(58.2 %)이고, AED 사용의향은 136명(55.7 %)이 있었으며, 저해요인은 사용 방법을 모름(63.0 %)이 가장 높았다. AED 사용의향은 직책에서는 선장, 항해사, 근무부서에서는 갑판부가 높았고, 교육 참여경험이 있고 교육시점이 6개월 미만인 경우 AED 사용에 적극적이었다. 따라서, 선박 내 AED 설치개수에 대한 기준을 정립하여 AED 추가배치를 고려 하고, AED 관리지침을 준수하도록 할 필요가 있다. 또한, 선박 내 AED 사용의향이 낮은 항해사 외의 직군에 대해 AED 교육훈련 및 인식 제고 노력이 필요하며, 선원들의 AED 사용능력 등을 평가하여, 적정한 재교육 주기에 대한 검토가 필요하다.

Grammatical complexity constitutes an indispensable subconstruct of L2 writing ability. Nonetheless, rating scale descriptors for grammatical complexity have heavily relied on degree modifiers or adjectives. Thus, this study attempts to explore the potential for the use of nominal modifiers as discriminators for adjacent levels of L2 writers in the context of an English Placement Test. This study analyzed 374 argumentative essays written by international undergraduates. Seven nominal modifiers in the developmental stages of grammatical complexity were examined and a cumulative ordinal logistic regression model with proportional odds was fitted to explore the relative effects of those grammar features on placement decisions. Four nominal modifiers were found to be positively associated with placement decisions, after adjusting for the effects of other variables. One educational implication is for the use of nominal modifiers to be incorporated into rating scale descriptors as discriminators for L2 writers who are not advanced enough to be exempted from an English Placement Test.

This study analyzed the appropriate placement method by floor for evacuating all occupants during the nighttime through evacuation simulation. The analysis results are as follows. First, when non-self evacuating patients were placed on the first floor, 266 patients and 6 workers were found to be evacuated after 460 seconds. This result shows that it is meaningful to place non-self evacuating patients on the lower floor with a time that is faster than 540 seconds, which is an evaluation criterion set using life Safety standards for human. This result is a time faster than the evaluation criteria of 540 seconds, which is set using the life safety standards, and it can be confirmed that it is meaningful to place non-self evacuating patients on the lower floor. Next, as a result of placing non-self evacuating patients from the first floor to the fourth floor, it was found that evacuation of all occupants required 460 seconds for the first floor, 834 seconds for the second floor, 1,508 seconds for the third floor, and 1,915 seconds for the fourth floor. These results indicate that the placement of non-self evacuating patients on the rest of the floors, except for the first floor, can lead to dangerous results in excess of 540 seconds, which is a flashover time. As a result, it is necessary to place non-self evacuating patients on a lower floor for safe evacuation. The study has limitations except for comparative analysis of changes in evacuation time due to changes in the number of workers at eldery care hospitals and situations in which fire-fighting facilities such as sprinkler facilities operated. It is necessary to study the evacuation time linked to the operation of the fire-fighting facilities and the evacuation time according to the change in the number of workers in the future.

Recently, a number of recent reports have reported cases of bone marrow defect (BMD) in the mandible. Among the diseases seen by BMD in radiographs, focal osteoporotic bone marrow defect(FOBMD) is asymptomatic, which is discovered incidentally and localized radiolucency. Because it varies in size, shape, trabeculae and border definition, it needs to biopsy to differential diagnose other intraosseous lesions that show radiological bone marrow defects. This cases report discusses the pre-operation considerations in patients planning to implant the mandible and suspected to have FOBMD in radiographs. The following 4 cases in Dental Hospital of Wonkwang University were taken in panoramic and Cone beam computed tomography(CBCT). In all cases, there were radiolucent lesion diagnosed with FOBMD under radiologic differential diagnosis. In three of cases the implant were placed without treatment plan change and one case changed the treatment plan with removable partial denture. BMD is anatomical state that can affect primary stability of implant fixture. During implant placement, it can lead to unexpected results that fixture is fallen into BMD and the nerve may be damaged after implant fixture removal to cause hyperesthesia. Preoperative diagnosis of these lesions by differential diagnosis with panoramic and CBCT can prevent the complications by changing the treatment plan or paying attention to the manipulation during surgery.

본 연구는 보는 대상이 아닌 시점으로서의 역할이 중시되고 있는 누정의 경관적 역할 및 관리 등에 살펴볼 목적으로 진행된 것이다. 전라남도 무안군 식영정을 대상으로 연구를 진행했으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 식영정 주변의 공간구성 및 수목배치 등에 따른 경관변화를 검토한 결과, 부지경계부에 식재되어 있는 작은 수목과 펜스 설치 그리고 주변부 외래수종으로 인한 이미지 변화 및 시야차단에 의한 경관훼손이 일어나고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 새로 조성된 초가 쉼터의 부적절한 위치로 인해 시야가 차단되는 것으로 나타나 누정주변의 공간구성요소 배치 등에 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 3. 식영정과 이산마을 그리고 영산강과 주변 산들의 상호 연계성 및 구성요소 변화 등에 대한 조사분석 결과, 식영정으로 접근하는 방식 및 연결동선에 변화가 생겼다는 사실이 확인되었다. 4. 무안 식영정의 경우, 주변구성요소의 배치 및 접근동선의 변화에 따라 누정 및 조망되는 경관이 크게 달라진다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study applied enneagram personality type system to improve the quality of life by efficient job placement for industrial workers. Applying the enneagram personality type system in a constantly changing business environment has a competitive edge in developing and utilizing workers' internal resources and capabilities. Each of enneagram nine type has characteristics such as core needs, motive and ability in job field, expression method and relationship. These characteristics can be used for efficient job placement of workers. In Korea, for the past 30 years when enneagram was introduced, educational programs for the public, teenagers and parents have been developed, but the professional programs for company were very poor. Therefore, educational programs development for professional business managers and workers are required.

The Nitidulidae includes 10 subfamilies and over 350 genera and 4500 species and is the largest family in Cucujoidea. We place the enigmatic subfamily Calonecrinae into the internal relationship of Nitidulidae, a comprehensive molecular phylogenetic analysis was performed using five gene regions (COI, 28s, CAD, H3, Wingless) for 80 taxa. We included 73 ingroup taxa representing nine of the ten currently recognized subfamilies of Nitidulidae and 7 outgroups. The phylogenetic results are consistent with prior molecular studies, that include a polyphyletic Nitidulinae with the inclusion of Meligethinae and Cillaeinae and that the Calonecrinae is sister taxon to Epuraeinae. Ancestral state reconstruction of feeding behavior indicates that stem group nitiduilds were most probably sap-feeding with transitions to other feeding types independently derived multiple times.

The success of Marvel movies attracts more companies to place their brands in this series of movies, apparel brand like Under Armour or car manufacturer like BMW has largely used the movie as medium of product placement to increase brand equity. To understand how the product placement in the movie affect consumer attitude and purchase intention is in needed. Neer (2004) states that product placement is a type of marketing by creating impression for consumers unconsciously through incorporation into the plot of TV programs, movies and other media. The conceptual model was built based on the Russell’s (2002) tripartite typology of product placement and social comparison theory. We presume brand-self congruity, placement explicitness, plot connection, and attitude toward the plot and role are positively related to brand attitude and purchase intention. The research employed experiment with a 2 (placement explicitness: prominent/subtle) x 2 (plot connection: main character/supporting role) between subject design. The research theme is under the Under Armour because the brand used product placement as the company’s major marketing communication process of move placement. The research result shows that the more the product placement is identifiable in the movies, with frequent usage or appearance in main plot, the better the placement effect is; the preference of consumers on movies, including plot and role attitude, explicitly influences placement effect. If the real self or ideal self of consumers are consistent with brand image, a higher brand attitude and purchase intention will occur. To best of our knowledge, our paper is first one using self-congruity and attitude toward the plot to investigate the outcome of product placement in the movies. The research concludes with implications for promotion strategy to advance brand image and purchase intention by increasing the effectiveness of product placement. Future research suggestions relevant to the product placement issues, marketing communication and brand management are also provided.

Similar to traditional advertising, product placement plays important roles in consumer purchasing behaviors through the AIDA model (e.g., Ghirvu，2013) of which attention is the very first stage. While there is an established literature on brand recall and recognition as methods of product placement evaluation, the role of attention, which is an important topic in traditional advertising research, has been sparsely studied in the context of product placement. This paper proposes that attention is a psychological state which affects information selection and processing. Captured attention reflects audience’s selective attention to editorial content including placements, while sustained attention (or processing) requires allocated attentional capacity to process information captured from the placement. When available attentional capacity is insufficient, product placements cannot be adequately processed to form accurate memory (Lee & Faber, 2007). Accordingly, this paper aims to investigate the pathway of ‘placement characteristics –audience attention – audience memory’ in order to reinterpret the relationship between placement characteristics and audience memory through the lens of attention. We do this by answering two pertinent questions: 1) how placement characteristics (e.g., exposure duration, frequency, location and size) influence captured attention; and, 2) how captured attention and sustained attention affect audience memory. To do so, we draw on psychology literature, especially the feature integration theory (Treisman & Gelade, 1980), in establishing the theoretical connections between placement features, captured attention, sustained attention and memory. By a theatre methodology, we found sustained attention mediated between captured attention and audience memory, while more prominent placement characteristics had stronger relationships with captured attention. Furthermore, audience’s levels of involvement in the media content and familiarity with the placed brand moderated the relationship between sustained attention and audience memory.

PURPOSES : Asphalt concrete pavement is damaged by various causes such as traffic and environmental loads. The distressed pavement should be maintained by various methods to provide a comfortable and safe pavement for the driver. This study evaluates the effect of adding a mixing procedure to enhance the mixture quality in the hot in-placement recycled asphalt pavement method, which is an asphalt-pavement maintenance method. METHODS: Various test methods such as Marshall stability and dynamic stability, were employed to estimate the recycled asphalt mixture with and without an additional mixing, using the hot in-placement recycled asphalt pavement method. RESULTS : The mixture samples used in this study were taken before and after the addition of the mixer in the hot in-placement recycled asphalt pavement method (HIR) at field construction sites in GongJu and JinJu in South Korea. The test results of both mixtures satisfied the asphalt-mixture standard specifications. CONCLUSIONS: This study confirmed that adding a mixer in the HIR method results in a well-mixed new asphalt mixture, rejuvenator, and reclaimed asphalt mixture.

현행 방제선 배치 항만의 합리적인 방안을 모색하고자 국내 주요 항만을 대상으로 이용실태와 위험요인의 분포현황을 조사하 여 각 항만별 위험도를 평가하고 위험도 산정 값을 기준으로 전체 항만을 4단계의 위험군으로 분류하여 방제선 배치 항만의 현실화를 추 구하였다. 그 결과 항만의 위험도는 대규모 석유화학 산업시설이 위치하고 있는 여수·광양항(1.85), 울산항(1.33), 대산항(1.25)이 특히 높게 나타나고, 선박 통항량이 많은 부산항(0.95), 인천항(0.83)과 최근 항만시설의 확충으로 대형선 통항량이 증가한 목포항(0.71)과 제주항 (0.49), 주변에 어업권 허가건수가 많은 마산항(0.44) 순서로 나타났다. 또한, 위험도 값이 가장 높게 나타난 여수·광양항을 기준으로 각 항 만의 상대적 비율을 등급화하여 위험군을 4단계로 구분했을 때 최고위험군은 여수·광양항, 울산항, 대산항, 부산항이고, 고위험군은 인천 항, 목포항, 제주항, 마산항이며, 중위험군은 평택·당진항, 포항항, 군산항, 동해·묵호항, 저위험군은 삼천포항, 옥계항, 장승포항으로 분류 되었다. 이 중 현행 법률상 방제선 배치항만은 모두 중위험군 이상의 항만이며 중위험군으로 새롭게 평가되는 목포항, 제주항, 동해·묵호 항은 제외되어 있다. 따라서 이들 3개 항만을 방제선 배치항만으로 새롭게 지정하여 기름오염사고에 대비할 필요가 있다.

In this study, we propose a method of optimal placement technique of artificial reef considering characteristics of sea areas and provide basic data for efficient budget execution. In addition, we will contribute to increasing the economic efficiency by improving the fisheries productivity by suggesting the scientific basis for the policy data and the increase of the catch through the resource creation based on the ecological information about the biology. Especially, in order to establish the effective disposition (optimum separation distance) of artificial reef considering characteristics of biological and engineering factors, it is necessary to review the artificial reef installation management regulations and investigate the biological effects of artificial reef facilities, is needed. Through this, it is expected that the ground data of the direction of the policy promotion will be derived by suggesting the placement condition of the artificial reef complex which can maximize the resource composition effect according to the target fish species.

Floating PV generation system, renewable energy power plant, is able to overcome the disadvantages of ground PV generation system and improve generating efficiency. The frame structural system is an established technology among a diversity of structural technologies which has been developed for related fields. In this paper, the both structural safety and characteristics of floating PV generation structures depend on the different placement angle of solar module are investigated to improve the commercial viability, the structural safety, and characteristics of floating PV generation structures. In addition, for the estimation of structural safety, FE analyses are conducted. From the results, the lower placement angle of solar module improves the structural safety of floating PV generation system.
