Ground anchor method is one of the most popular reinforcing technology for slope in Korea. For the health monitoring of slope which is reinforced by permanent anchor for a long period, monitoring of the tension force of ground anchor is very important. Optical FBG sensors embedded tendon was developed to measure the strain of 7-wire strand by embedding FBG sensor into the center king cable of 7-wire strand. This FBG sensors embedded tendon has been successfully applied to measure the reinforcing force of ground anchor during four seasons through temperature compensation of the FBG sensors embedded tendon.
For monitoring of the coastal and offshore structures, many techniques can be applied. In this paper, three different applications were introduced including surface wave based nondestructive testing for concrete structures, vision-based dynamic motion measurement for floating structures, and long-term monitoring using dynamic responses and static strain measurement data for fixed offshore jacket structures.
Nowadays, wireless sensor network applications have been used in several important areas, such as healthcare, construction, critical infrastructure, environmental monitoring, and manufacturing. However, due to the limitation of WSNs in terms of memory, energy, computation, and scalability, efficient management of the large number of WSNs data in these areas is an important issue to deal with. There is a need for a high-performance computing and massive storage infrastructure for real-time processing and storing of the data as well as analysis of the information. In this paper, we present a technology and application of sensor cloud computing based on IoT and service to manage monitoring sensor data for the f construction design-build projects. With this IoT sensor cloud platform, the entire project participants can efficiently share information to identify and solve issues in the design build phase.

In this study, the process for the cause of lateral movement of bridges is suggested. Based on the monitoring of shoe and pier movement, the lateral movement of birdges is studied. As a result, the process is applicable for the small lateral movement of the bridges.
Scanning technic is implemented with the underground structures: subway, tunnel, shaft, drainage path, spillway, and slurry wall. Both optical and laser scanning system have been conducted to the precise inspection of diagnosis and safety. Image and 3D coordinate from scanning can be utilized in monitoring scope and fundamental database of maintenance. There is a high possibility that the scanning will prevail on inspection and diagnosis.
To the present, technology of tunnel has developed more significantly than before. Due to the difficulty in assessment of long-term durability, it is more important to persistently maintain the tunnel to save the budget efficiently since its completion. Some aspects of the focused management section were written for some of the road tunnels which was recently inspected by KISTEC according to the special law for safety management of Infrastructure.
This study examined the collapse of bridge under extreme events. As a result, numerous bridges collapsed by scour, collision, fire and earthquake. The research team studied four cases of previous bridge collapse and restoration following extreme events. Finally, the disaster type factor were selected.
The Farm Revival Program of the Farm Land Bank, implemented in 2006, initiated as the Agricultural Land Bank's business proposal to achieve efficient usage of farm land. Also, expansion of Farm Revival Program will bring positive effects when considering the fact that Farm Revival Program contributes to farm liability issues and management improvements. However, despite the importance of Farm Revival Program, searching for improvement methods through a rural demand survey is very insufficient. The following research limits the target to farms that applied for the management redemption project within Gangwon Province and examined the application motivation, project satisfaction, and demands of the farms. This research holds value as a fundamental data which reflects the demands of farms to better manage Farm Land Purchasing of the Farm Land Bank.
20세기 대량생산과 소비제품의 남용 및 무분별한 소비로 인한 생활 쓰레기와 산업 폐기물의 양상은 심각한 지구의 환경오염과 자원낭비를 초래하고 있다. 과거의 폐기물은 매립과 소각에만 의존하고 있으며 주위환경은 점점 나빠지고 이들에 의한 2차 오염까지 가중되어 자원과 환경이 더욱 더 심각하게 파괴되고 있다. 이에 따라 재사용, 재활용에 기본 개념을 두고 있는 에코디자인, 그린디자인, 지속가능디자인을 포괄하는 개념인 업사이클링(Up-cycling) 디자인의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 최근에는 버려지는 재료를 재활용하는 리사이클링(Re-cycling)을 뛰어넘어 폐기물에 창의적인 아이디어와 기술을 결합해 새로운 가치를 부여하며 유용하면서도 아름답게 일상용품을 재탄생시키는 업사이클링(Up-cycling) 제품들이 현대 산업의 중요 과제로 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 업사이클링 디자인에 대한 정의와 업사이클링 디자인 개발의 중요성을 강조하고 이에 대한 대안을 찾기 위해 국내와 해외 업사이클링 주요 디자인 브랜드를 비교 분석함으로써 향후 개발을 위한 활성화 방안을 찾아보았다. 첫째, 제품을 개발하는 첫 단계부터 산업 폐기물을 줄이기 위한 방안이 연구되어야 하고 둘째, 업사이클링 디자인 브랜드에 대한 인식의 전환이 필요하며 셋째, 디자이너가 주도적으로 참여하는 경쟁력 있는 업사이클링 디자인 제품의 적극적인 개발이 필요하다는 연구 결과를 제시하였다.
사장교는 다수의 케이블에 의해 지지되어 복잡한 거동을 하는 구조체이며, 측경간 케이블에 의해 단부교각에서 부반력이 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 적절한 측경간비를 설정해야 하고 앵커교각의 부반력 대책을 강구해야 한다. 부반력 제어 대책으로는 중간교각, 카운터 웨이트 등을 설치하는 방안이 있으며 이에 따라 사장교의 구조계가 결정된다. 밤콩교량은 타당성 검토 단계에서 5경간 사장교로 계획되었다.하지만 시공성 및 경제성 등의 문제로 실시설계 단계에서 3경간 사장교로 변경되었다. 시공성을 확보하기 위하여 중간교각을 배제하였고, 이에 따른 부반력을 제어하기 위해 측경간비를 증가시켰다. 그 결과, 원안 설계에 비하여 시공성, 구조적 안전성, 효율성을 확보할 수 있었다.
Under high agricultural automation in rice farming, cultivation acreage expansion can be considered for the economies of scale. Also, considering the circumstances of higher ratio in leased farms than independent farms, Long-term Leasing Business of Farmland can be the most public and transparent method to expand cultivation acreage for lease farming. Therefore, this research observes the various factors such as application motives, satisfaction, and demands of Long-term Leasing Business of Farmland, which the importance is on the rise and serves as a means to increase agricultural expansion, as well as its operational performance analysis. The research results and implications are as follows. Long-term Leasing Business of Farmland have positive effects such as ensuring stable farming through documental contract, providing convenience because the lease contractor requires no meetings during the contract period, providing opportunities to expand the farm size, and acquiring economical gain which is linked to satisfaction aspects of the businesses. On the other hand, demands such as strengthened business advertisement, writing business documents by correlating with related organizations, and clear lease price configuration were made by the businesses. To bring improvements, this research proposes; 1) expanding support to related businesses, 2) providing convenience through related organization correlations, and 3) configuring clear lease prices considering the regional conditions.
