This study set limits Gangwon-do's manufacturing companies that participated in the educational-industrial consortium. These companies' present status and activities under implementation identified and interpreted by this study, therefore, are insufficient to be generalized into knowledge applicable to most of the companies in Gangwon-do. For more precise and detailed results, it is suggested to make further studies that cover not only those consortium companies but also non-consortium manufacturing companies in Gangwon-do.

With Zohar(l980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between safety efforts and employee safety participation, and the moderating effect of safety motivation on such relationship. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, the results of statistical analysis showed that company precaution activity and management safety involvement have affirmative effects on the employee safety participation, but safety education has not. The extent precaution activity forces on participation activity is proved to be influenced by employee safety motivation.

정보화의 도입 및 추진은 기업의 생산성의 향상과 경쟁우위의 확보에 있어서 중요한 요소임은 이미 주지의 사실이다. 본 연구에서는 중소 제조기업에 적합한 정보화 수준 진단 방법을 제시하고, 웹 상에서 사용자가 직접 수준 진단을 수행할 수 있은 시스템을 개발하였다. 기존에 제시된 설문 항목 중심의 수준 진단 방법론을 근간으로 하여 업종 특성, 고객 특성, 공급체인상의 위치 등의 해당 기업의 특성을 고려하여 획일적인 진단 방법에서 탈피하고자 하였다. 또한, 본 웹사이트를 통해서 진단되는 다수의 사례들로부터 향후 정보화 방향 설정에 유용한 정보를 도출할 수 있는 방법의 개발을 고려한 시스템을 설계하였다.

본 논문에서는 현재 강원도 중소기업들이 기업경쟁력을 높이기 위해 실시하고 있는 품질경영 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 공동기술개발 컨소시엄을 실시하고 있는 중소기업을 대상으로 21세기 일류기업으로 발전해 나가기 위해 기업에서 중점적으로 추진하고 있는 품질경영 추진방안에 대해 조사하였다. 연구수행에 있어서 지방 중소기업들이 공통적으로 겪고 있는 인력부족 및 자금부족으로 인해 기업에서 중점적으로 관심을 갖고 추진하여야 하는 품질경영 전반에 걸쳐 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 21세기 지방소재 중소기업이 일류기업으로 발전하기 위한 방안은 기업 내 인력을 지역 대학과 연계하여 주기적인 교육프로그램을 추진할 필요성이 있으며, 기업과 관련된 교수․외부전문가(연구원) 등을 적극적으로 활용하여 기업경쟁력 확보를 위한 경영전략을 모색하고, 지속적으로 산․학․관의 유기적인 시스템을 구축할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구의 한계는 조사 대상기업이 강원도에 위치한 제조기업 중에서 컨소시엄 참여기업이기 때문에 현황과 추진활동 차이에 따른 결과의 해석을 일반화하기에는 약간 무리가 있으며, 향후의 연구에서는 컨소시엄 참여기업 만이 아닌 강원도 소재 제조기업 중에서 표본을 추출하거나, 전수조사를 실시하여 보다 세밀한 분석이 실시되어질 필요가 있을 것이다.

21세기가 도래하면서 지식화, 정보화, 기술화 등 중소기업을 둘러싼 경영 환경은 급변하고 있다. 이와 같이 급변하는 기업 환경은 대기업보다 신축적이고 탄력적인 중소기업에 보다 유리한 환경이라고 볼 수 있다. 또한 21세기의 명실상부한 창조성을 갖춘 중소기업이 산업발전의 주역으로 등장할 수 있는 경영환경으로 인식되어진다. 중소기업이 국민경제에 차지하는 비중과 역할은 매우 중요하다. 지방자치제의 실시와 지역 경제의 활성화 시책 등은 일반적으로 그 지역 사회를 존립기반으로 하고 있는 중소기업의 지위를 더욱 증대시키게 될 것이다. 그러나 디자이너 입장에서는 경영자에게 산업디자인의 효과적 활용방법이나 그 유효성 등을 충분히 인식시키거나 이해시키지 못한 문제점도 많은 것으로 지적되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 정부시책으로 수많은 국내 중소기업이 비교적 단기간 내에 자사제품의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 수단으로 산업디자인을 활용하게 되었으며, 아울러 경영자 및 산업디자이너 양자가 현실적인 면에서 산업디자인에 대한 인식을 새롭게 하거나 그 유효성이나 문제점 등을 평가해 볼 수 있는 계기가 마련된 일은 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 이러한 인식 하에서 본 연구는 국내 중소기업이 디자인을 경영레벨에서 전략적으로 활용하고 있는지, 디자인 경영 전략 구축은 잘 실행되고 있는지, 실무 디자이너와 CEO의 디자인 경영에 대한 인식 수준은 어느 정도 인지를 파악함으로써 여러 문제점들에 대한 새로운 해결 방법을 모색하고자 하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 위하여 디자인 실무자, 중소기업 경영 CEO등을 대상으로 설문조사와 직접면접방식으로 실증분석을 통하여 중소기업의 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 디자인의 활용과 대책을 제시하였다.

A way for small & medium enterprises' ERP construction is SMERP S/W for the small & medium enterprises' ERP package which is offered by the Korea chamber of commerce & industry. And, that is applied to the real management environment.

Domestic industry calamity rate did decrease in large numbers by many efforts of the safety and health organizations. But that is low yet among the OECD countries. Calamities are started In most work inexperience and safety consciousness absence. So, we can know that education is how important. Domestic small and medium enterprises are in trend that industrial accident is increased by deterioration of hardware, not enough preparedness of safety equipments. But, the safety and health education had not been utilized so far effectively and applied systematically. Therefore, the most important among many means to reduce calamity is the safety and health education. An efficient education will supply suitable knowledge and technology to work people. And that will lead to prevent accident by building right habit and attitude. This research did the survey about problems of education that is enforced in small and medium enterprises. That survey is done to three groups of workers, administrators and managers. We compared domestic safety and health education system and advanced foreign system. And, analyzed problems and presented a solution. Finally, this research presented efficient operation model of the safety and health education suitable to domestic medium and small enterprises.

This paper discuss evaluation method of investment projects expansion and replacement investment on each line or individual in the production. Generally investment evaluation method has add to a few method by Subsidiary means with use a especial method. And then in this paper, a Taguchi Techniques is presented, which may be effective to the facilities appraisal or improvement. We propose a decision model to incorporates the values assigned by a group of experts on different factors in production. Using this model, SN ratio of taguchi method for each of subjective factors as well as values of weights are used in this comprehensive method for reducing production rate in production management.

E-business is rapidly prevailing in our society by increasing of the use of the internet. Therefore the education system of e-business should contain requirements of customers, i.e. various industries. College curriculum should be related to tasks of e-business. This paper deals with e-business tasks that make college curriculum. It surveys the situation of college education and topics in the field of e-business. This research analyzes the needs and opinions of the local area companies. The acknowledgement and realization of e-business implements are surveyed and the education contents for college are researched.

The medium and small companies located in Gangwon-do are much concerned about customer-centered quality management, automation, new technologies, process improvement, and the acquirement of ISO 9000 certification. They are also interested in factory rationalization by 5S and suggestion system. It is also important for these companies to devise some measures, in search of strategies and tactics for gaining the market leadership, and in formulating an organic system of cooperation between the industries and learning institutions such as universities and government agencies.

This paper proposes an evaluation methodology of commercial Enterprise Resource planning(ERP) packages in the view if end users when the ERP system is employed especially in SMEs. Considering the characteristics and functions of ERP packages, five factors(vendor, technology, function, A/S, price) are obtained based on the review of literature. The proposed evaluation procedure consists of several evaluation items and processes which support the selection of ERP packages for a certain SME. When a company tries to implement the ERP system, the proposed method suggests the suitable ERP package for its own business environment.

This paper studied about effects of the certificate of ISO 9000 in the manufacturing companies whose number of employee is under three hundred. First, most of company answered that acquiring the certificate of ISO 9000 is very helpful for the company management. therefore the company has the competence in the change of domestic and international economy. Second, after acquiring the certificate of ISO 9000, there were many improvements in company culture, quality control and business process productivity. As a result, the acquisition of the certificate of ISO 9000 system makes the company culture preparing the future to become a world first class company.

In this regard, the newly focused logistics information system makes reducing the expenses of whole logistic available by cutting down the expenses of materials, transportation and stock and also, it allows the company to cut down the procurement expense through the reduced lead-time and rationalize producing plans by eliminating the uncertain orders and fluctuation in procurement. It further more optimizes the efficiency of over all productions by meeting the dead line for delivery to the customers. In the recent environment of globalization where fierce competitions exist between manufacturers, logistics plays important role in the strategies of companies, and managements of companies try their best efforts in establishing the strategy to accomplish the innovative relationship between supply chain channels. Therefore, in this study, we try to suggest the model of consolidated logistics system that is integrated logistics information system with suggesting the better way of logistics and comparative analysis with logistics system to resolve the difficulties numbers of companies face after realizing what logistics information system is in Korea.

Recently, a number of enterprise have introduced Information Systems(IS) to cope with the rapidly changing circumstances and to improve their competitive advantage and successful implementation of Information Technology influence the success of business. Managements identify that it is necessary for systematic analysis and plan to adopt IS throughout the failure of IS projects. So Information Strategy Planning(ISP) is presented as the alternative. Recent, researches in the ISP have concentrated on the examination of large and successful corporations. For this reason, it is difficult that we apply the result to small and medium sized enterprise(SMEs). Thus, this paper searches characteristic of SMEs form informatization point of view and the ISP approach for successful informatization of SMEs.
