        본 연구에서는 인공지능기법을 이용하여 진동만의 용존산소량 예측을 하였다. 관측자료에 존재하는 결측 구간을 보간하기 위해 양방향재귀신경망(BRITS, Bidirectional Recurrent Imputation for Time Series) 딥러닝 알고리즘을 이용하였고, 대표적 시계열 예측 선형모델인 ARIMA(Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average)과 비선형모델 중 가장 많이 이용되고 있는 LSTM(Long Short-Term Memory) 모델을 이용 하여 진동만의 용존산소량을 예측하고 그 성능을 평가했다. 결측 구간 보정 실험은 표층에서 높은 정확도로 보정이 가능했으나, 저층에서는 그 정확도가 낮았으며, 중층에서는 실험조건에 따라 정확도가 불안정하게 나타났다. 실험조건에 따라 정확도가 불안정하게 나타났다. 결과로부터 LSTM 모델이 중층과 저층에서 ARIMA 모델보다 우세한 정확도를 보였으나, 표층에서는 ARIMA모델의 정확도가 약간 높은 것으로 나타났다.

        Cognitive impairment is considered to be key research topics in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and in understanding of learning and memory. In the present study, we investigated neuroprotective effects of Schisandra chinensis (SC) and Ribes fasciculatum (RF) extracts in hydrogen peroxide-induced neuronal cell death in vitro and scopolamine-induced cognitive impairment in Sprague Dawley® (SD) rat in vivo. Apoptotic cell death in neuroblastic PC12 cell line was induced by hydrogen peroxide for 1 hour at 100 μM. However, mixture of SC and RF treatment prevented peroxide induced PC12 cell death with no neurotoxic effects. For in vivo experiment, the effect of SC and RF extracts on scopolamine-induced cognitive impairment in SD rat was evaluated by spontaneous alternation behavior in Y-Maze test. After 30 min scopolamine injection, the scopolamine-induced rats presented significantly decreased % spontaneous alteration and acetylcholine level, compared to non-induced group. However, treatment of SC+RF extracts rescued the reduced % spontaneous alteration with acetylcholine concentration from hippocampus in scopolamineinduced rats. These results suggested that mixture of SC and RF extract may be a potential natural therapeutic agent for the prevention of cognitive impairment.

        Although aronia (Aronia melanocarpa (Michx.) Elliott) contains higher levels of polyphenols and more antioxidant activity than other berries, it is a berry that is difficult to eat raw due to its strong astringent taste and lack of sweetness. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the effect of tannin reduction of aronia by bioconversion method using mushroom mycelia cultures. Aronia and liquid cultures of Lentinula edodes and Phellinus linteus mycelia were mixed and then treated for 48 hours at 60°C. Tannin content, total polyphenol, total flavonoid and antioxidant activities (DPPH, ABTS radical-scavenging activities and FRAP activities) were investigated. The tannin content decreased from 64.2 mg ECE/g to 57.9 mg ECE/g (9.8% reduction) when treated with liquid culture of L. edodes and from 77.3 mg ECE/g to 47.9 mg ECE/g (38.1% reduction) from treatment with a liquid culture of P. linteus. Therefore treatment with mushroom mycelia culture solution may improve the palatability of aronia reducing the astringent taste.

        This study investigated the quality characteristics of black soybean sediments to diversify the availability of soybean. The cooking method selected for black soybean sediment preparation was a pressure cooking process without soaking, considering the isoflavone content. The black soybean sediments were prepared by the addition of 0, 10, 30, 50 and 100% (w/w) black soybean. When 0% to 100% black soybean was added to the black soybean sediments, the moisture and crude protein contents increased from 53.17% to 54.41% and from 12.07% to 21.68%, respectively. The total isoflavone content of the black soybean sediments was increased from 2.69 μg/g to 696.09 μg/g, respectively, by the addition of black soybean. The anthocyanin content of the black soybean sediments ranged from 279.29 μg/g to 387.8 μg/g by the addition of black soybean. The total polyphenol content and the total flavonoid content of the black soybean sediments range from 1.72 mg/g to 2.00 mg/g and 0.89 mg/g to 0.92 mg/g, respectively, by the addition of black soybean. Given the isoflavones, total polyphenol, and anthocyanin content of the black soybean sediments, it is appropriate that the ratio of added black soybeans is at least 50% after the pressure-cooking process, regardless of soaking.

        우리 사회에 출생률 감소와 급속한 고령화, 일자리 감소와 소득 양극화 등 사회·경제적으로 부정적인 여건이 대두되고 지속되면서 앞으로의 경제전망은 더욱 어두워지고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 정부는 경제 활성화를 위하여 미래 혁신성장동력 확보, 규제혁신 등 여러 경제정책을 종합하여 추진하고 있다. 본 연구는 일반적으로 미래 성장동력으로 쉽게 여겨지지 않는 농식품분야에서 유망한 대표적인 신산업을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 고령친화식품산업과 펫푸드(Pet Food)산업에 대하여 산업 활성화를 위한 규제개선의 과제로 품질인증제 도입을 제시하고 이로 인한 경제적 효과도 예시적으로 계측하였으며, 마지막으로 이것이 갖는 경제학적 의미를 논의하였다. 두 농식품분야 신산업에서의 품질인증제 시행은 식품의 안전성을 강화하는 동시에 사회 전체 후생도 향상시킬 수 있는 방안으로 기대된다.

        For the important safety system, two or more units of identical equipment or redundant components with similar function were installed to prevent abnormal failure. If the failure probability of such equipment is independent, this redundancy could increase the system safety remarkably. However, if the failure of each component is highly correlated by installing in a structure or experiencing an earthquake event, the expected redundancy effect will decrease. Therefore, the seismic correlation of the equipment should be evaluated quantitatively for the seismic probabilistic safety assessment. The correlation effect can be explained in the procedure of constructing fragility curves. In this study, several methodologies to quantify the seismic correlation in the failure probability calculation for multiple components were reviewed and two possible ways considering the realistic situation were selected. Simple examples were tested to check the applicability of these methods. The conversion method between these two methods was suggested to render the evaluation using the advantages of each method possible.

        본 연구에서는 총각무에 검출빈도가 높은 3성분의 농약 을 선택하여 농약 침지 후 잔류농약이 총각김치제조 과정에서 제거되는 정도를 측정하였다. 총각무의 절임과 세척 과정 후에는 초기 처리농도에 대비 잎은 diazinon, diniconazole 및 dimethomorph 각각 43.8%, 41.9% 및 89.8%가 제거되었으며, 뿌리는 59.5%, 54.7% 및 85.1%가 제거되었다. 4oC에서 김치를 숙성하는 과정 중 농약의 잔류량은 4주간의 숙성기간 동안 초기 처리농도 대비 잎은 diazinon 82.4%, diniconazole 77.1% 그리고 dimethomorph 98.9%가 제거되었고, 뿌리의 경우 diazinon 94.0%, diniconazole 91.8% 그리고 dimethomorph 90.0%가 제거되었다. 총각김치 잔류농약 제거율을 제조과정별 상대적인 백분율로 나타낸 결과 절임과정에서 가장 많은 잔류농약 제거율을 보였으며, 그 결과 농약 3종은 44.6%-66.5%가 제거되었다. 반면 뿌리에서 diazinon, diniconazole은 숙성과정에서 51.8%-55.8%로 가장 많은 잔류농약 제거율을 보였다. 3종의 농약이 잔류하는 김치를 0oC, 4oC에서 4주간 숙성시키면서 온도에 따른 농약제거율의 차이를 살펴본 결과, diazinon은 뿌리에서 4oC가 0oC에 비해 농약제거율이 2.7%-10.8%가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 그 이외의 농약에서는 숙성온도 별 잔류농약 제거율의 차이는 미미한 것으로 확인되었다.

        한강지류 경안천의 어류 군집 특성을 밝히기 위해 2017년 4월부터 10월까지 조사를 실시하였다. 조사기간 동안 48개 지점에서 족대와 투망으로 채집된 어류는 11과 40종이었다. 우점종은 피라미(Zacco platypus, 48.0%), 아우점종은 버들치 (Rhynchocypris oxycephalus, 17.7%), 그 다음으로 돌고기(Pungtungia herzi, 6.8%), 참갈겨니(Zacco koreanus, 5.0%), 붕어(Carassius auratus, 4.3%), 긴몰개(Squalidus gracilis majimae, 2.7%), 떡납줄갱이(Rhodeus notatus, 2.5%) 등의 순으로 우세하게 출현하였다. 출현종 중 한국고유종은 14종(35.0%)이었고, 외래종은 배스(Micropterus salmoides), 블루길 (Lepomis macrochirus), 이스라엘잉어(Cyprinus carpio Islaeli type) 3종, 육봉형 어류는 은어(Plecoglossus altivelis), 밀어(Rhinogobius brunneus), 둑중개(Cottus koreanus) 3종, 기후변화 민감종으로 둑중개 1종이 채집되었다. 군집분석 결과 우점도는 최상류 지점들에서 높았고, 다양도와 풍부도는 상류지점이 낮고 하류 지점으로 갈수록 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 군집구조는 크게 하천(최상류, 상류, 중·하류)과 호수로 구분되었다. 하천건강성은 좋음(23지점, 47.9%), 보통(15지점, 31.3%)의 비율이 높았다. 과거조사와 비교한 결과, 선행조사에서 출현하였으나 본 조사에서 출현하지 않은 종은 12종, 본 조사에서 처음으로 출현한 종은 9종이었으며, 생태계 교란종으로 지정된 배스와 블루길은 점차 확산되는 경향을 보였다.

        본 연구는 강원도 원주시에 설치된 사방댐을 대상으로 장마 전·후의 자료를 비교·분석하여 사방댐에 의한 저서성 대형무척추 동물의 군집 변화를 파악하고자 하였다. 조사시기는 2019년 3월부터 9월까지 총 4회 조사를 실시하였으며, 조사지점은 불투과형 사방댐(전석), 투과형 사방댐(버트리스), 대조지역을 선정하여 사방댐을 기준으로 상류 2지점, 하류 2지점을 조사하 였다. 유속은 불투과형, 투과형, 대조지역의 지점에서 대부분 증가하였으며, 불투과형은 St. 3에서 장마 이후 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 저서성 대형무척추동물의 종수 및 개체수는 장마 이후 대부분 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 투과형과 대조지역의 개체수 감소율은 전석에 비해 비교적 유사한 것으로 나타났다. EPT 그룹의 종수 및 개체수는 장마 이후 대부분 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 유사도 분석 결과, 장마 이전에는 불투과형 및 투과형이 대조지역과 38.4%로 구분되었으나, 장마 이후에는 투과형과 대조지역이 불투과형과 51.3%로 구분되었다. PCA 분석 결과, Axis 1을 기준으로 불투과형은 장마 전․후로 양의 값을 나타내었으며, 투과형과 대조지역은 장마 전․후 음의 값을 나타내어 불투과형 보다는 투과형이 대조지역과 상관성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. EPT 그룹은 불투과형에서 하루살이목, 투과형과 대조지역에서 날도래목이 분포하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과, 사방댐 설치는 저서성 대형무척추동물 군집에 변화를 초래할 수 있으며, 불투과형 보다는 상대적으로 투과형이 대조지역과 장마 이후 군집 차이가 적은 것으로 분석되었다.

        There has been a significant decline in the number of rail accidents in Korea since system safety management activities were introduced. Nonetheless, analyzing and preventing human error-related accidents is still an important issue in railway industry. As a railway system is increasingly automated and intelligent, the mechanism and process of an accident occurrence are more and more complicated. It is now essential to consider a variety of factors and their intricate interactions in the analysis of rail accidents. However, it has proved that traditional accident models and methods based on a linear cause-effect relationship are inadequate to analyze and to assess accidents in complex systems such as railway systems. In order to supplement the limitations of traditional safety methods, recently some systemic safety models and methods have been developed. Of those, FRAM(Functional Resonance Analysis Method) has been recognized as one of the most useful methods for analyzing accidents in complex systems. It reflects the concepts of performance adjustment and performance variability in a system, which are fundamental to understanding the processes of an accident in complex systems. This study aims to apply FRAM to the analysis of a rail accident involving human errors, which occurred recently in South Korea. Through the application of FRAM, we found that it can be a useful alternative to traditional methods in the analysis and assessment of accidents in complex systems. In addition, it was also found that FRAM can help analysts understand the interactions between functional elements of a system in a systematic manner.

        The proper operation and safety management of water and wastewater treatment systems are essential for providing stable water service to the public. However, various natural disasters including floods, large storms, volcano eruptions and earthquakes threaten public water services by causing serious damage to water and wastewater treatment plants and pipeline systems. Korea is known as a country that is relatively safe from earthquakes, but the recent increase in the frequency of earthquakes has increased the need for a proper earthquake management system. Interest in research and the establishment of legal regulations has increased, especially since the large earthquake in Gyeongju in 2016. Currently, earthquakes in Korea are managed by legal regulations and guidelines integrated with other disasters such as floods and large storms. The legal system has long been controlled and relatively well managed, but technical research has made limited progress since it was considered in the past that Korea is safe from earthquake damage. Various technologies, including seismic design and earthquake forecasting, are required to minimize possible damages from earthquakes, so proper research is essential. This paper reviews the current state of technology development and legal management systems to prevent damages and restore water and wastewater treatment systems after earthquakes in Korea and other countries. High technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicles, wireless networks and real-time monitoring systems are already being applied to water and wastewater treatment processes, and to further establish the optimal system for earthquake response in water and wastewater treatment facilities, continuous research in connection with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including information and communications technologies, is essential.

        In this study, the effects of Sm addition (0, 0.05, 0.2, 0.5 wt%) on the microstructure, hardness, and electrical and thermal conductivity of Al-11Si-1.5Cu aluminum alloy were investigated. As a result of Sm addition, increment in the amount of α-Al and refinement of primary Si from 70 to 10 μm were observed due to eutectic temperature depression. On the other hand, Sm was less effective at refining eutectic Si because of insufficient addition. The phase analysis results indicated that Sm-rich intermetallic phases such as Al-Fe-Mg-Si and Al-Si-Cu formed and led to decrements in the amount of primary Si and eutectic Si. These microstructure changes affected not only the hardness but also the electrical and thermal conductivity. When 0.5 wt% Sm was added to the alloy, hardness increased from 84.4 to 91.3 Hv, and electric conductivity increased from 15.14 to 16.97 MS/m. Thermal conductivity greatly increased from 133 to 157 W/m·K.

        The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in vitamin B6 content according to the varieties, regions, and harvest times of vegetables and fruits in Korea using high performance liquid chromatography. We verified the accuracy of the analytical method with standard reference material 1849a and achieved reliability for internal analysis quality control with a mixture of cereal, whole wheat, and flour. As a result of the analysis, vitamin B6 contents (μg/100 g) were 6.9~86.5 in peppers, 5.1~17.2 in paprika, 4.4~5.0 in strawberries, 4.0~52.9 in tomatoes, 7.7~7.8 in Chinese cabbage, 17.3~23.3 in radishes, 13.4~37.6 in apples, 2.3~12.7 in peaches, and 3.7~12.7 in grapes. In general, the difference in vitamin B6 content showed by varieties, harvest times, and regions. Peppers showed the most difference as 79.6 μg/100 g among the varieties, and apples showed a difference as 22.8 μg/100 g by regions. According to the harvest times in grape ‘Mihwang’, there was a difference of 7.5 μg/100 g. We will collect an amount of nutritional data on various food materials, and continue to build a reliable and integrated nutritional database. And then the database will be used in the 10th revision of the Korean Food Composition Table.

        이 연구에서는 주요 가로수인 왕벚나무를 대상으로 구례지역의 조기낙엽 현황 진단을 위해 제주도와 낙엽비율 비교연구를 진행하였고, 구례군에서 수행가능한 주요 가로수 관리방법을 두 가지로 구분하여 관리방법별 조기낙엽 지연효과와 피해를 규명하여 최적관리방법을 도출하였다. 구례지역은 기상청 단풍시기와 낙엽시기가 유사한 제주도 지역보다 같은 시기 낙엽비율이 높았고, 약제처리, 약제와 관수처리를 진행했을 때 구멍병이 방제되어 낙엽 시기가 2주 지연되었다. 조기낙엽은 왕벚나무의 생장과 개화에 영향을 미쳤으며, 약제와 관수처리를 진행한 관리방 법에서 생장이 가장 높았고, 2년 뒤 개화량이 가장 높은 것으로 추정되었다. 따라서 왕벚나무 가로수의 조기낙엽을 지연시키기 위해 구멍병 방제가 중요하고, 조기낙엽이 수관의 발달과 개화량에 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 약제와 관수처리를 함께 처리하는 관리방법을 도입하는 것이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of methanolic extracts of 10 kinds of wild vegetables cultivated in Gangwon province on antioxidant activity, acetylcholinesterase, and β-secretase inhibitory activities. Results showed that among the wild vegetables, Aralia elata(Miq.) Seem shoot extract exhibited the highest total phenol content (84.65±1.08 mg GAE/g) and total flavonoids content (70.77±0.55 mg RE/g), respectively. The antioxidant activity of wild vegetables extracts was measured by using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assay. Aralia elata(Miq.) Seem shoot extracts had the highest DPPH and ABTS scavenging activity (90.16%, 40.18% at 2 mg/mL). As a result, Aralia elata(Miq.) Seem shoot extract was the most effective in terms of acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity (35.94% at 1 mg/mL). In the β-secretase activity assay, all 10 kinds wild vegetables extracts showed low inhibitory activity, and Aralia elata(Miq.) Seem shoot extract had highest inhibitory activity among the 10 wild vegetables extracts was 14.99%. Taken together, these results showed that Aralia elata(Miq.) Seem shoot extract has potential cognition improvement impact, suggesting that it may provide an effective strategy for improving cognition.

        To examine the possibility of ear mushroom (EM) as a source of natural vitamin D, the UVB (ultraviolet B) was treated according to sample drying status, drying methods before UVB treatment and harvest time. And then, vitamin D2 and ergosterol contents were investigated. According to the sample drying status, the vitamin D2 contents of fresh and freeze-dried EM (whole) increased to 4,634.4~4,780.9 μg/100 g D.W. (dry weight) under UVB dose 52.5~70.0 kJ/m2 and above 18,693.1 μg/100 g D.W. under above 105 kJ/m2, respectively. By drying methods before UVB treatment, vitamin D2 contents of EM powder (below 500 μm) that dried in the vinyl house and freeze-dryer increased to 4,886.2~5,132.9 μg/100 g D.W. under above 105 kJ/m2 and 17,103.7 μg/100 g D.W. under 70 kJ/m2, respectively. Ergosterol content decreased with increasing UVB dose in all experiments. According to the harvest time, vitamin D2 content under UVB dose 210 kJ/m2 showed marked difference and in order of June, July, August, October and April. As for the results, the optimum harvest time, drying method before UVB treatment, sample size, UVB dose for the EM contained high vitamin D2 content were June, freeze-drying, whole, and 105 kJ/m2, respectively.
