        Recently, many people have become interested in seismic stability enhancement and a chain of research and development be proceed for application of nuclear power plant according to increase the frequency and magnitude of earthquake event. Such as seismic isolation system is applied to general structure (architecture, bridge and LNG tank etc.) from ancient times. But the application results is limited for Nuclear power plant. In this paper, we proposed a stability of variable axial load from beyond design basis earthquake in Nuclear power plant. Also, the change of stiffness in isolator from the application of generally design equation is not equal to according to change in axial load compare with the experimental result in variable axial load. Therefore we proposed the empirical formula of design equation from test result of full-scale multi-lead rubber bearing for seismic analysis with real behavior (variable axial load) in the earthquake motion.

        This paper presents an experimetal study on RC beam strengthened with 3D Ultra-High-Mocular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fabric. This research program aims at developing the 3D UHMWPE textile fabic to improve the structural performance of RC beam. Specimens were constructed and experimentally investigated through static tests. Testing data were analyzed to investigate the performance of the specimens retrofitted or strengthened with UHMWPE fiber compared to the non-retrofitted RC beam responses. It was concluded that the strengthening method using 3D UHMWPE fiber can improve the performance of RC beam.

        Cu-Mn compacts are fabricated by the pulsed current activated sintering method (PCAS) for sputtering target application. For fabricating the compacts, optimized sintering conditions such as the temperature, pulse ratio, pressure, and heating rate are controlled during the sintering process. The final sintering temperature and heating rate required to fabricate the target materials having high density are 700oC and 80oC/min, respectively. The heating directly progresses up to 700oC with a 3 min holding time. The sputtering target materials having high relative density of 100% are fabricated by employing a uniaxial pressure of 60 MPa and a sintering temperature of 700oC without any significant change in the grain size. Also, the shrinkage displacement of the Cu-Mn target materials considerably increases with an increase in the pressure at sintering temperatures up to 700oC.

        This research introduces the development of fairy tale system directed behavior training game platform with brainwaves and motion sensing cognitive technologies for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) children. The system includes three major functions: 1) the brainwaves and motion recognition; 2) the interactive intervention with narrative contents; and 3) the sensor and intervention data management. The narrative contents combined with fairy tales and other elements for the game platform including characters, perspectives, quests, and scenes are integrated into the system. While a child is playing a given fairy tale, the child’s brainwaves and motion sensing data are transmitted to the system. This system simultaneously controls the intervention procedure, helping the child concentrate on the story and accomplish quests appropriately. The main contribution of this system is to help children with ADHD manage their behavior by continuously intervening them to increase the attention to the fairy tales and feel confidence on themselves with the improved test results.

        본 연구의 목적은 TV산업에서 지배적 디지털 TV에 영향을 미치는 지배적 디 자인 결정요인과 제품핵심요소를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 전문가 설문조사를 통해 자 료를 수집하고, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 지배적 디자인의 결정요 인은 디스플레이, 디자인, 특성에 영향을 주고 디스플레이와 디자인이 지배적 디지털 TV를 만드는 데 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 우리나라 TV기업이 지속적으로 지배적 디자인을 선도하여 선도자로서의 역할을 유지토록 사업전략 수립의 기초자료로써 큰 의미가 있다 하겠다.

        When offense launches missiles at valuable assets of the defense, the defense must assign its weapons to these missiles so as to maximize the total value of surviving assets threatened by them. Recently, a new asset-based linear approximation model was proposed for weapon target assignment problem with shootlook- shoot engagement policy and fixed set-up time between each anti-missile launch from each defense unit. In this paper, we apply the proposed to several ballistic missile defense examples and we show their weapon target assignment results specified with launch order time.

        최근 각 분야에서 불거지고 있는 거짓과 위선, 그리고 불신들은 우리 사회를 멍들게 하고 있다. 이러한 시대적 상황에서 진정성 있는 리더를 요구하는 목소리가 점점 커지고 있지만, 진성 리더십에 관한 국내 연구는 아직까지 미흡한 편이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상사의 진정성 있는 리더십이 부하의 자아개념과 내재적 동기에 미치는 영향을 상사동일시의 매개효과를 중심으로 실증하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 8개 기업의 약 482명의 설문지를 바탕으로 검증한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진성 리더십이 상사동일시에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 상사동일시 가 자아개념과 내재적 동기에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 상사동일시는 진성 리더십과 자아개념 간의 관계에서 부분 매개역할을 하며, 상사동일시는 진성 리더십과 내재적 동기 간의 관계에서도 역시 부분 매개역할을 하고 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과는, 상사의 진성 리더십 의 발휘가 부하의 자아개념과 내재적 동기에 긍정적인 영향을 주기 위해서는 구성원들이 진성 리더와 자신을 동일시하는 것이 중요함을 시사하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 기업들에게 중요한 실무적 시사 점을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

        A missile defense system is composed of radars detecting incoming missiles aiming at defense assets, command control units making the decisions on weapon target assignment, and artillery batteries firing of defensive weapons to the incoming missiles. Although, the technology behind the development of radars and weapons is very important, effective assignment of the weapons against missile threats is much more crucial. When incoming missile targets toward valuable assets in the defense area are detected, the asset-based weapon target assignment model addresses the issue of weapon assignment to these missiles so as to maximize the total value of surviving assets threatened by them. In this paper, we present a model for an asset-based weapon assignment problem with shoot-look-shoot engagement policy and fixed set-up time between each anti-missile launch from each defense unit. Then, we show detailed linear approximation process for nonlinear portions of the model and propose final linear approximation model. After that, the proposed model is applied to several ballistic missile defense scenarios. In each defense scenario, the number of incoming missiles, the speed and the position of each missile, the number of defense artillery battery, the number of anti-missile in each artillery battery, single shot kill probability of each weapon to each target, value of assets, the air defense coverage are given. After running lpSolveAPI package of R language with the given data in each scenario in a personal computer, we summarize its weapon target assignment results specified with launch order time for each artillery battery. We also show computer processing time to get the result for each scenario.

        Membrane bioreactor (MBR) and reverse osmosis (RO) process have attracted much attention in the field of wastewater treatment and desalination, respectively. However, MBR has membrane fouling which is the major obstacle in maximizing their efficiency. Also, for the RO process, low energy efficiency still remains unanswered in RO process. In this study, it is demonstrated that the application of graphene oxide (GO) to membrane fabrication can be a novel strategy to overcome the residual problems. In detail, GO was applied to fabrication of polysulfone ultrafiltration membrane for improving anti-biofouling capability of membrane. Furthermore, addition of GO enhanced mechanical strength of highly porous support layer, which enabled the thin-film composite RO membrane to have 1.6 to 4 times higher water flux compared to other RO membranes.

        In this study, we classified the structures into minor-damage column (URM), moderate-damage column (URO), and severe-damage column (URS), depending on the RC column of damage degree, and reinforced columns with the UHMWPE fiber in order to perform modeling of the structures. Then, we executed a comparative analysis with the results obtained from previous studies of NRF (non-reinforced column) and URF (column with UHMWPE fiber reinforcement). The maximum strength was increased with 14.91% of URF, 14.05% of URM, 14% of URO, and 6.5% of URS on the basis of NRF and the columns with minor and moderate damages exhibited the similar stiffness as that of the URF.

        This study presents an experimental study on compressive and flexural strengths of concrete reinforced by 3D Fiber Reinforced Polymer(FRP). This study is intended to investigate the potential of 3D FRP concrete composites against impact or explosive loadings. For the comparative study, non-reinforced specimen and specimens reinforced by 3D FRP are constructed and tested. 20mm×10mm 3D fiber and 25mm×20mm 3D fiber was set to be variable.

        Ceramics biomaterials are useful as implant materials in orthopedic surgery. In this study, porous HA(hydroxyapatite)/β-TCP(tricalcium phosphate) composite biomaterials were successfully fabricated using HA/β-TCP powders with 10-30 wt% NH4HCO3 as a space holder(SH) and TiH2 as a foaming agent, and MgO powder as a binder. The HA/β-TCP powders were consolidated by spark plasma sintering(SPS) process at 1000 oC under 20 MPa conditions. The effect of SH content on the pore size and distribution of the HA/β-TCP composite was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and a microfocus X-ray computer tomography system(SMX-225CT). These microstructure observations revealed that the volume fraction of the pores increased with increasing SH content. The pore size of the HA/β-TCP composites is about 400-500 μm. The relative density of the porous HA/β-TCP composite increased with decreasing SH content. The porous HA/β-TCP composite fabricated with 30%SH exhibited an elastic modulus similar to that of cortical bone; however, the compression strength of this composite is higher than that of cortical bone.

        This research introduces the interactive fairy tale system based on BCI and Motion Sensing Technology for Children with ADHD. ADHD is a specific disorder which shows deficits in sustained attention, behavioral inhibition, resistance to distraction, and the regulation of one’s activity level to the demands of a situation (hyperactivity or restlessness). The interactive fairy tale system implemented on the Unity3D engine is expected to keep track of a player's time-varying brainwave and motion logs through NeuroSky’s MindWave Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and Microsoft’s Kinect motion sensing technology. The proposed system helps us take a closer look at the player's behavior than performing a video shoot or direct observation. In addition, as the system keeps the observed data, it is possible to constantly track the changes on the player's brainwave and behavior, and synthetically assess the effect of the proposed approach from many different aspects.
