당근을 소재로 한 기능성 발효음료 개발을 위한 기초연구의 하나로 당근주스에 당을 첨가하고 Saccharomyces cerevisiae KCCM 11215를 접종하여 알코올발효를 진행시켜 당근와인을 제조한 후, 종초 Acetobacter pasterianus A8을 접종하여 초산발효를 유도하는 단행복발효 공정으로 정치 배양하여 당근식초 발효를 시도하였다. 6%의 알코올을 함유하는 당근와인에 종초를 5% 부피비율로 접종하고 30℃에서 20일간 정치 배양하는 것을 최적조건으로 하였을 때 산도 6.2%의 당근식초 제조가 가능하였다. 생산된 당근식초는 122.47mg%의 유리아미노산을 함유하고 있었으며, 당근식초의 유기산 조성은 aceticacid 55g/L, pyruvic acid 4.5g/L, citric acid 0.45g/L 및 maleic acid 0.05g/L이었다. 당근식초는 1.43mg/L의 베타-카로틴을 함유하고 있었으며 몇 가지 시판식초에 비해 폴리페놀(478.89mg/L)을 다량 함유하여 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성, ABTS 라디칼 소거활성, FRAP assay으로 표현되는 높은 항산화활성을 나타냈다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발된 당근식초는 조리용은 물론 기능성 음료로서 이용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

We have developed a DH-PROTO equipment to measure the Unit-Water Content of concrete. In this paper, using an accredited certification HI-330 and developed DH-PROTO to measure the Unit-Water Content, it was evaluated by comparing the measurement stability. In experimental results by using a capacitive equipment DH-PROTO and HI-330, Estimation error of DH-PROTO and HI-330 according to the type of binder is -4.4 to 2.0%, -7.4 to 4.0%, measuring equipment for Unit-Water Content in concrete showed excellent performance in reliability assessment measures. Also, the estimation error according to the type of fine aggregate was appeared to 3.4~10.4 % and 2.8~9.1%, was determined that excellent performance and accuracy levels with it. Thus, it expected to be released as a commercial product through further studies.

This study carried out an experiment to find out the reaction of hairtail, Trichinus lepturus to the colors of LED light as a basic study on the development of the trolling gear and a method to enable the day-night operation. We used hairtails caught around Seongsan-po, Jeju Island by set nets and hairtail angling. The seven hairtails of the average length 68.9 cm (SD 9.2 cm) and the average weight 135.9 g (SD 47.9 g) were adapted themselves in the experimental water tank, 15 m Self-Governing 1.7 m in height and 1.5 m in depth, and then they were studied. We conducted experiment at the Ocean and Fisheries Research Institute in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, from November to December 2015, and the sea surface temperature was between 16.5 and 19.5℃. The four colors of LED light, blue, white, green and red, were set up to transmit downward from the marginal area of tank. The 1 meter depth light intensity of LED colors is as follows: 0.09 w/m2/s (blue), 0.18 w/m2/s (white), 0.04 w/m2/s (green) and 0.007 w/m2/s(red) To know the optimum LED color light, we selected one with better reaction rate after comparison of two colors simultaneously and the selected color was again compared to the other color in a tournament style two times a day (day and night) and ten times totally. The reaction rates were shown as the frequencies of hairtail appearance for 5 minutes in the lighting zone after turning on the LED lights. The reaction rate of the blue was at 97% unlike the red 3% (p < 0.001). The blue was at 75% unlike the green at 25% (p < 0.001). The blue was at 67% unlike the white at 33% (p < 0.001). Therefore, the color of light source showing the highest reaction rate was the blue.

웰빙식품, 건강에 대한 관심 증대로 버섯의 소비량은 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나, 주로 생버섯으로 소비되 고 2차 가공식품의 기능성 구명으로 새로운 용도 개발 연구는 미진한 상황이다. 버섯의 고부가가치 창 출을 위해서는 버섯의 생산 및 단순가공형 산업에서 탈피하여 새로운 신기능성 구명 연구를 통해 새로 운 미래 바이오산업 확대를 위한 용도 창출을 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 연구내용은 버섯류 35종 에 대한 전립선암세포내 PSA발현 억제 효능 및 이를 통해 확인된 버섯자원들의 함유성분 중 암에 관 련된 화합물들에 대한 구조적 상관관계를 분석하였다. 35종의 버섯류는 99% 에탄올 추출 및 물로 추출 후 동결건조하여 공시재료로 사용하였다. 그 결과 35종의 버섯중 느티만가닥(Hypsizigus marmoreus), 눈 꽃동충하초(Cordyceps takaomontana), 차가버섯(Inonotus obliquus), 동충하초(Cordyceps sinensis), 양송이 (Agaricus bisporus) 등에서 전립선암세포내 PSA 발현을 억제하는 효과를 보였다. 이들 버섯들은 면역력 을 높이는데 유효한 성분인 베타글루칸이 다량으로 함유되어 있어 면역력증진에 따른 전립선암세포의 증식 억제에 효과를 나타내고 있는 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 녹각영지버섯 추출물의 항산화 효과 및 lipopolysaccharide (LPS)/interferon (IFN)-γ로 자극 된 RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 항산화 효과 및 항염증 효과를 조사하였다. 녹각영지버섯의 항산화 활성 을 확인하기 위하여 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH)과 2,2'-azino-bis-3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid (ABTS) radical 소거 활성 및 reactive oxygen species (ROS) 생성량을 측정한 결과, DPPH radical 및 ABTS radical 소거효과에 대한 IC50은 각각, 80.74, 52.28 ㎍/ml의 radical 소거능이 관찰되었으며 ROS 생성량은 농도 의존적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, RAW 264.7 대식세포를 이용하여 항산화 및 항염증 활성을 확인하기 위하여 ROS 및 nitric oxide (NO) 생성량을 측정한 결과, 활성산소 종 ROS와 염증 매개물질인 NO는 투여농도 의존적으로 감소하였다. 또한, 염증과 관련된 inflammatory cytokine의 발현을 농도 의존적으로 억제하여 항염증 활성을 나타내는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로부터 녹각영지버섯 추출물은 항산화 및 항염증을 지닌 기능성 소재로 활용이 가능할 것으로 사 료된다.

저자들은 십이지장의 팽대부에서 발견된 종양에 대해 조직검사를 시행, 신경내분비종으로 판단하여 내시경적 유두부 절제술을 시행하였으며 신경절세포 부신경절종으로 진단된 증례를 경험하였으며, 신경절세포 부신경절종이 내시경적 유두부절제술로 성공적으로 치료되었기에 문헌고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다.

This study attempted to help determine Korean fishery policies by proposing improvement plans after examining the current regulations, fishing vessels, fishing gear and fishing methods of the middle sized trawl fishery in the East Sea for targeting only squid. In general, the size, engine horse power, and net length of the middle sized trawlers are between 50 and 60 GT, 1,200 and 1,600 PS, and approximately 165 m with four seamed trawl nets, respectively. While a jigging vessel attracted squids using lights, the trawler approached a jigging vessel. The trawler let the jigging vessel know its decision for fishing, and then jigging vessel rolled up jigs. The net of the trawler was casted at 45 degrees between the bow and the stern of the jigging vessel. Once the trawler towed close to the stern of the jigging vessel upon its passing of the jigging vessel, the bow of the trawler turned 45 degrees left again. Then, squid aggregations were entered into the net. When the cod end was passed a light vessel, the trawler hoisted the net up to the otter board. Then the trawler turned 180 degrees. It repeated three to five times of fishing operations as the previous method. We recommend that the regulations allow nineteen side trawlers to catch like stern trawler, as well as the cooperative trawler and jigging vessel operations.

Acoustic surveys using a scientific echosounder and trawl surveys were concurrently carried out in between Geoje and Tongyeong of the South Sea by season. The anchovy schools were identified by trawling in each station and used for frequency response analysis. Frequency responses of anchovy schools by season and species composition ratio were examined using multi-frequencies (18, 38, 70, 120 and 200 kHz). The frequency response r(f), is one of the acoustic characteristics which means the volume back-scattering strength ratio between a reference frequency and other frequencies. In spring, the r(f) of anchovy schools decreased with increased frequency, with the exception of 120kHz. While, in winter, the r(f) continuously decreased inversely proportional to the increase in frequency. Frequency response of anchovy schools presented a distinctive difference between spring and winter, however it did not different in spife of different species composition ratios in schools.
