        This study was carried out in order to provide suggestions with regard to optimal control methods for various odor emission facilities (162 companies and 26 industrial classifications) through comparative analysis of effective odor treatment technologies for each type of odor substance by literature reviews, based on measured 22 odor substance data for 162 samples taken from A city. The industrial classification of Pulp showed the highest odor quotient (7,589 as average value) and was followed by the industrial classifications of Wastewater, Woods, and Furniture, indicating average odor quotient values of 2,361, 1,396 and 1,392, respectively. Absorption using chlorine dioxide and sodium hydroxide can be an optimal treatment method to remove the odor substances of sulfide and aldehyde groups. Biofilers with microbial communities will be effective to remove odors caused by volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and an absorption method using sulfuric acid is proper for the removal of odor substances caused by nitrogens.

        Forward osmosis (FO) is osmotically driven membrane processes and emerging as viable methods for producing fresh water from saline water or wastewater. The FO process is a promising and emerging low energy desalination technology and has been investigated for a wide range of applications including desalination, wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis concentrate treatment, food processing, emergency nutritious drinks, pharmaceutical industries, etc. In particular, although FO membranes have been available for over 40 years, there is still room to improve the water flux and reverse salt flux. Therefore, this presentation will initially probe various opportunities to extend potential commercialization of FO into new niches and applications, identifying key technology constraints. Then our FO membranes developed will be presented.

        국내 전통식품 인증을 획득한 된장을 대상으로 간 섬유화 억제를 위한 기능 소재로서의 활용가능성을 알아보고자하였다. 국내 농산물로만 제조되어진 전통식품인증 된장총 24개 제품을 전국에서 수집하여 70% 메탄올로 추출한다음, MEF 세포주에 처리하여 간섬유화의 지표인 α-SMA의 발현 억제활성을 측정하였다. 공장식 생산과정을 거치는 일반 시판된장과 대조군 대비, 경북지역에서 수집된No. 13 전통인증된장 추출물이 약 74%의 α-SMA 발현억제활성을 나타내어 뛰어난 간 섬유화 억제활성을 나타내었다. 이는 의약품으로 사용되는 silymarin 84%과 비교시10% 정도밖에 차이나지 않았으며, 2년 이상의 발효시간을거친 제품임을 감안할 때 향후 발효시기에 따른 기능성의향상에 대한 기대도 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

This study will develop the methodology for analyzes that the national qualification is effected to the construction industrial machine disaster prevention status. It suggest two ways to the establishment of disaster trends. First way is the disaster quantitative analysis and second way is comparing the statistical data and the analysis of expert opinion.

        Korean logistics industry have been focused on transportation business. However, with the expansion of the electronic commerce and on-line shopping, delivery service is now dramatically growing. Despite the expansion of logistics market, the domestic logistics industry have significant structural problems such as low productivity comparing with the advanced countries, relatively high cost and shortage of human resources and lack of professionalism of people in the industry. Logistics companies reallocate employees, use subcontractors, expand consignment and training the employees to overcome the labor shortages but it has some limits. In recognition of the importance of labor in the logistics industry, financial support and investment have increased. Logistics companies tend to hire consultants, set up logistics department or R&D center in order to establish highly productive logistics process and system so it is viewed that there will be considerable demands of human resources in the logistics industry. This study indicates implications and development direction of human resources in the logistics industry by looking into prospect and characteristic of the industry, employment status, training programs and qualification requirements.

        The study focuses on analysing situation of disasters and characteristics in construction process which the technical construction firms accomplish. Besides, the study aims at the role and responsibilities of technical construction firms in construction safety. It is found out by a questionnaire and interviews in this study that safety control and management have a key role to prevent accidents in construction projects. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that institutional improvement and support strategies are suggested and that additional to the support of the government and institutions in charge of the field of construction safety the effort of the first contractor, the second contractor and the laborer it is also important.

        The purpose of the study was to assess the relative preference for hot & spicy sauces using conjoint analysis, with focus on English consumers. From the results of the study, we were able to derive a standard with the best sauce attributes. The respondent group was selected from the CCFRA's customer database. The qualification criteria for inclusion in the sample were: the primary grocery shopper in the household, a consumer of a range of home cooked oriental & far eastern cuisines, enjoyed hot & spicy chili-based foods, and willing to buy hot chili-based oriental sauces. A total of 676 respondents completed the survey in which 76% were women, and all respondents were between the ages of 18 and 65 years. An online survey method was used and a conjoint analysis was adopted. In conjoint analysis, a product is described as a combination of a set of attribute levels, where a utility value is estimated for each attribute level. In summing up the results of this study, the sensory property (flavor) attribute was most important, the second was brand, and the third was price. For the sensory property attribute, a mild chili sauce of blended garlic, sugar, and lime scored highest. In terms of brand, Blue Dragon was selected as the best. The lesser known Korean Kochujang brand of "Hot&Joy" scored lowest with respect to brand value. Encouraging, however, was the description based on the Hot&Joy product: a hot chili sauce blended with ginger and garlic, which held appeal across age groups and genders. In terms of price, 75p per bottle had the best score.

        The purpose of this project is to develop the VOCs (the Volatile Organic Compounds) controlling process. In order to achieve our goal, we practiced with non-membrane electrolysis water for absorption scrubbing water. Non-membrane electrolysis system is produced to use absorption scrubbing water. And also this procedure obtains electrolysis water using electrolyte (20% of NaCl-sol). For absorption efficiency, it can be divided into two different types of Multi-Scrone (the vortex absorption tower). One is in a Laboratory scale and the other is in Pilot Plant scale. In Laboratory scale, it shows a difference from 20% of NaCl-sol in order. We also learned that the sudden change of ORP at the first stage gives such a big influence to velocity in process. The vortex absorption tower has better efficiency than packed tower. In spite of that fact, we all know BTX (insoluble organic compounds) has lower absorption efficiency. It is also confirmed in the vortex absorption tower. This project makes our future research strong enough to remove Odor and VOCs only with absorption scrubbing technique. Furthermore, this reference will help our research to develop electrolyte and improve absorption efficiency of BTX as well.

        소득수준이 향상되며 라이프스타일이 급격하게 변하게 되며, 편안하고 여유로운 공간 및 공간활용에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 동신대학교 간호학관의 경우 표고가 2m 이상 낮은 지방도 831호선과 인접하고 있어 공간이 비효율적으로 활용되고 있으며, 이로 인하여 학생 휴게공간의 부족, 경관 악화 등이 문제가 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 간호학관과 지방도 831호선 사이에 기존의 석축을 제거하고 옹벽을 설치하여 안전성을 증대시키고 휴식 공간을 확보하고자 하였다. 재료별 단위중량, 기초지반의 토질조건, 작용하중, 내진설계, 옹벽의 안전조건, 옹벽 형식별 장단점 및 적용조건과 기타 설계고려사항 등을 반영하여 최적의 단면을 가지는 역T형 옹벽을 설계하였으며, 폭 4m, 길이 80m, 면적 320㎡의 휴게공간을 창출할 수 있었다. 본 설계의 결과로 더욱 효율적인 공간활용이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 학생들의 학교생활에 대한 만족도가 향상될 것으로 판단된다. 또한 도로에서 학교를 바라보는 경관이 개선되어 학교 이미지 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
