        Objective : After arranged and estimated the result of Oriental Medical Health Examination Program, considered the way of improvement and how Oriental Medicine participate in industrial health service. Results : As a point at issue of occidental medicine examination, followings have been indicated, 1) Occidental medical examination is performed by mainly test and instrument and therefore, role of doctors could be excluded and it could be diagnosed only for target disease and 2) in Korea, it could not be conducted in public medical system and therefore improvement effect of public health promotion could not be made due to increase of total medical expenses and infirmity of post management. These points are substantial limit of paradigm resided in occidental medicine and also problem caused by unique characteristics of medical system of Korea. Conclusion : According to the estimate of present special health examination for workers, it seems that special health examination forworkers is a way of specializing the purpose of special health examination and searching the group that needs a special mediation for promoting the health and preventing the disease as a part of industrial health service that needs a connection with other industrial health service. A program replaced by the health effect-oriented methods that limits the purpose of special health examination be studied. After understood the potential health disorder of workers according to where they are exposed to, it also should be contained items for the disease which can be examined in health examination.

        Green tea, derived from the plant Camellia sinensis, is one of the most common beverages consumed worldwide. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is the most abundant and bioactive polyphenolic constituent in green tea. Understanding how intracellular signaling pathways respond to EGCG may provide a clue to the difference of cell responses and basis for usefulness of EGCG as a chemopreventive and/or chemotherapeutic agent. In the present study, we tried to check whether EGCG could be a useful agent in chemotherapeutic treatment of oral squamous carcinoma. Furthermore, we investigated which signaling pathway is involved in biologic activities of EGCG. EGCG induced the cell death of oral squamous carcinoma cells. Furthermore, it increased phosphorylation of Akt in serum-strarved oral squamous carcinoma cells. But, initial increase of Akt activation did not affect cell survival. Activities of Raf-1 and Erk showed inconsistent response to EGCG treatment, but Erk phosphorylation is consistent with Raf-1 activity in YD 10B cells. These changes of Raf-1 and Erk activity in EGCG treated cells were different depending on cell line type. Supposedly, the difference of cell component may affect the Raf-1 and Erk reactivity to EGCG treatment. Akt activation by EGCG is independent on activities of PDK1 and PTEN, and expression of bax and bcl-2 proteins were not changed by EGCG treatment. Therefore, EGCG treatment did not induce the apoptosis of YD 10B cell. On the other hand, vascular adhesion molecule (VCAM) was decreased by EGCG treatment, so it is possible that decrease of VCAM can play certain role in survival and/or cell death in EGCG treated cells

        The article proposes some ways for improving students writing skills while teaching Russian in Korean universities. One has to admit that existing textbooks cannot be efficiently used in groups which include students with different level of language competence (such situation is currently common in Korean universities). Hence teachers need methods which, being are used together with textbooks, allow to raise learning efficiency in such non-homogeneous environment. One of the proposed ways is the use of private photos which should be prepared by students in advance. Such photos are necessarily related to individual memories of each student, so during exercises students rely on their own personal experiences evoked by the pictures. To describe a situation depicted by the photos, students are asked to write down some sentences. In her turn, a teacher should also suggest some questions connected with a situation which is reflected by a photo. A usual set consists of six questions (as a rule, with inclusion of the most widespread interrogative words: “when”, “where”, “who”, “what”, “how”, “why”). On each question the student should give a full answer in writing. The questions should be closely connected with the grammar studied by the students. Another proposed method is based on use of the short texts of Russian fiction. Since most Korean students are interested in Russian literature, these materials are quite useful. For exercise I usually chose Pushkin’s poem I loved you. This poem is not only a remarkable literary piece, but also possesses peculiar and representative grammar structure. Teacher asks students to count verbs, adjectives, and nouns which are encountered in the text of the poem. Then they should conjugate the verbs and decline the nouns and adjectives, to demonstrate the forms used in the dictionaries. This helps students to understand peculiar features of cases and conjugations. After they have mastered all words in the text, poem is divided into fragments which should be arranged in correct order. As a result students get acquainted with of Pushkin‘s language, and also learn some features of Russian verses. These methods encourage interest among students and can be successful used while teaching groups of students with different level of language skills.

        본 연구는 섬유유연제 선택기준으로 중요하다고 인식하고 있는 향에 대한 주관적 선호도와 감성구조를 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 서로 다른 향을 가진 섬유유연제 12종을 선정하여 일차적으로 선호도를 3단계로 평가하도록 하였고, 각 단계별로 빈도가 가장 많은 향을 2종씩 골라서 최종 6종의 향(후리지아, 블루비앙카, 바이올렛, 허브, 그린티, 피치)이 함유된 섬유유연제를 선정하여 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 주관적 선호도를 조사하였다. 주관적 선호도에서 가장 선호된 향과 가장 선호하지 않은 향 두 종류에 대해서 감성을 평가시켰다. 그 결과 가장 선호하는 섬유유연제 향은 후리지아 향이었고 피치 향은 가장 선호하지 않는 향이었는데, 선호하는 향의 순서와 선호도는 성별에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 후리지아 향과 피치 향의 감성구조는 다르게 평가되었다.

        Phytophthora capsici에 의한 고추 역병은 세계적으로 피해가 심할 뿐만 아니라 방제도 매우 어려운 병으로서 효과적인 병 방제를 위해 새로운 시도가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구는 이러한 취지에서 감마선의 hormesis효과를 이용하고자 시도되었다. 저선량 감마선 조사가 고추의 역병 저항성을 유도하는지 여부를 밝히기 위해 광복과 다복 두 품종을 공시하였다. 저선량 감마선은 두 품종 모두 조사선량에 관계없이 발아율을 크게 제고시켰다. 병 저항성

        저선량 방사선 조사가 땅콩 “팔팔” 품종 종자의 발아율과 초기생육 및 수량에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 γ선을 0.5~20.0 Gy 까지 조사하여 포장에 직파재배하였다. 땅콩 종자의 발아율은 저선량 조사에 의해 별다른 효과가 없었으나 유묘초장은 저선량 조사구에서 다소 양호하였다. 수량구성요소 중협수와 종실수 및 종자수량은 12.0 Gy 조사구에서 가장 높았으며, 대조구에 비해 각각 27%와 17% 및 19% 유의성있게 증가하였다. 100립

        The acetaminophen (APAP), an antipyretic and analgesic agent, induces the hepatotoxicity by increasing influx of calcium and destabilizing the cellular membrane which can be caused by N-acetyl p-benzoquinoneimine generated by cytochrome P-450 (CYP-450) when it is overdosed. Diltiazem (DIL), a calcium channel blocking agent, has been known to suppress the CYP-450 activities. To study the effect of DIL in APAP treated rats, the serum biotransformational enzyme analyses and the liver histopathologic examination were conducted on the rats which had been administered DIL at 3, 6, 9 and 12 hours after the 3,000 mg/kg of APAP administration. Following a single dose of DIL administered 12 hours after APAP administration, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities, malondialdehyde and calcium contents of liver and microsome were significantly reduced. Glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity was significantly increased. Histopathologic studies showed that DIL had prevented the development of centrilobular necrosis induced by APAP in liver tissue. Our results suggested that diltiazem could inhibit the formation of free radical and the influx of calcium and could increase GST activity. Therefore, diltiazem can be administered at the time of 12 hours after overdosed APAP to diminish the liver damage.

        목적: 이 연구는 슬럼프 중인 고등학교 남녀 수영선수에게 9주간의 심리기술훈련을 적용하여 그들의 정서상태와 스포츠수행전략 및 인지된 경기력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이었다. 방법: 심리기술훈련은 주 1회 90분의 주 별로 문제파악, 목표설정, 심상훈련, 인지재구성, 긍정자화, 루틴훈련, 위기대처훈련 등의 이론과 실습으로 구성되었다. 단일사례 설계유형(A-B-A) 통합방법으로 수행된 이 연구는 양 기초선 기간과 심리기술을 중재한 지 3주, 6주, 9주째에 정서상태와 스포츠수행전략 및 인지된 경기력을 측정하였고, 같은 기간에 개인상담을 통해 질적 자료를 수집하였다. 상담내용은 전문가 회의를 거쳐 객관성을 확보한 후 자료로 사용되었다. 결과: 9주간의 심리기 술훈련은 수영선수의 총정서장애를 감소시켜 정서상태에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 수영선수의 스포츠수행전략(혼잣말, 자동적 수행, 목표설정, 심상, 긴장풀기, 감정조절, 부정적 생각, 주의산만)은 심리기술훈련에 의해 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 수영선수의 인지된 경기력도 심리기술훈련에 의해 부분적으로 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이 연구는 9주간의 심리기술훈련이 수영선수의 정서상태와 스포츠수행전략 및 인지된 경기력을 향상시킬 수 있다는 결론에 도달하였다. 장래에는 수영선수의 경기력뿐만 아니라 건강과 행복도 증진시킬 수 있는 상담프로그램을 구성할 필요성이 제기되었다.

        In this study, microorganism community characteristics of organic managed soil which applied rye (Secale cereal L.) as green manure for 25 years, were determined. The chemical properties of organic soil showed high level of organic matter and available P2O5, while the level of exchangeable cation was low. The analysis of dehydrogenase activity and carbon source utilization indicated that the values in on organic soil were significantly higher than those of the control. It suggested that the microorganism community of organic soil had high microorganism activity, compared to the control. In addition, when the 16S rRNA genetargeted NGS (Next generation sequencing) analysis was conducted to estimate the class of bacterial community, the class level of bacterial taxon composition on organic soil showed higher portion of Sphingobacteriia, Acidobacteriia, Gammaproteobacteria, Solibacteres and Planctomycetia. By base on the results of various reports in which organic managed soil had high portion of Acidobacteriia and Planctomycetia, the characteristic of taxon composition in organic soil, which showed the high percentages of Ktedonobacteria, Sphingobacteriia, Acidobacteriia and Gammaproteobacteria, was resulted from the application of rye as a green manure for the long term. However, further researches were needed because the crop effect was not considered in this study.
