This study investigated cytogenetic and hematological and histological characteristics between diploid and spontaneous triploid on Cyprinidae (Crucian carp, Carassius auratus; crucian carp, C. cuvieri and common carp, Cyprinus carpio) in four major rivers of Korea. In our results, DNA contents of triploid Cyprinidae were 50% more than those of diploid Cyprinidae. Also, erythrocyte size of triploid Cyprinidae was 50% larger than those of diploid Cyprinidae. In all sampling rivers, sex ratios of C. auratus were biased to female, and especially, triploid groups of C. auratus were all female groups (p <0.05). In principle, sex ratios of C. cuvieri and common carp were equivalent between male and female.

μ방lt emitting diodes (LED) devices are commercially introduced as an alternative for low-Ievellaser therapy (11ι，T) ， and it has several advantages over lasers such as a safe, efficient, and less-expensive altemative to treat wounds. And LED irradiation at the same biostimulatory wavelength has similar bíochemical effεαs. In the present study, to asses whether the I핑ht-emitting diode (LED) irradíation can stimulate bone regeneration, irradiated bony defects with or without grafting materials on rat calvaria were compared to corresponding nonirradiated control. Fifty male Sprague-Dawly rats weighing about 150g, were used. Factors for present study were designed as follows, 1) presence or absence of grafting materials, 2) with or without irradiation, and 3) number of irradiation. Two weeks after operation, rats were sacrifìced. Radiologic and 비stomorphologic fmdings were evaluated. Macrospically, there were no incidents of infection, dehiscence, hematoma and necrosis during study. Radiological findings showed greater radiopacity in the graft group and radiopacity increased as the number of irradiation increase. And microscopically, new bαle formation was great in the graft group and increased as the number of irradiation increase, Present study has shown that LED irradiation improved bone regeneration through radiologic and histomorphologic fmdings in rat.

본 연구에서는 phenol이 암예방에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 시도하였으며 phenol 이 TBARS에 미치는 영향, TBARS와 암과의 상관관계 규명에 초점을 맞추었다. 식이 phenol이 조직산화와 종양 발생(tumor onset)에 미치는 영향을 측정하기 위하여 영양적으로 우수한 amino acid-based diet와 transgenic mouse model을 이용한 protocol을 사용하였다. Mice는 human lymphotropic virus(type-1) transactivator (taxl) gene을 carry하며 동시에 종양이 외부로 나타난다. 25마리의 transgenic mice를 대조군, 2, 4, 8 mmol catechin/kg diet 군 및 wine solid군으로 구분하였으며, 대조군은 catechin과 wine solid를 전혀 주지 않았으며, wine solid를 군은 red wine 750ml/kg을 주었다. Mice는 매일 관찰하여 맨 처음 종양이 발현하는 날짜를 기록하였다. Catechin과 wine solid를 섭취한 mice에서 종양이 발현하는 시기가 대조군보다 유의적으로 낮았으며 더욱이 4mmol catechin diet 군과 8mmol catechin diet군에서는 실험기간동안 각각 1마리에서 종양이 발견되지 않았다. Catechin와 wine solid를 섭취한 mice의 뇌조직과 비장의 TBRAS 수준은 대조군 mice의 동일한 조직과 비교하였을 때 유의적으로 낮았다. 또한 조직의 TBRAS 수준은 종양 발생과 유의적으로 상관관계가 있었다, 본연구의 결과는 phenol의 종류에 상관없이 식이 phenol에 조직의 항산화(산화억제)를 통해 암예방(cancer prevention)에 영향을 미친다는 것을 제시해 준다.

Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is a common disorder of the conduction system of the heart. Patients with such disorder may be asymptomatic or present with cardiac symptoms like palpitation and dyspnea. The anesthetic management of these patients is challenging as they are known to develop life threatening tachyarrhythmia. We report a hemodynamic management of a 53-year-old male with WPW syndrome scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia. We performed total intravenous anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil, and we placed the laryngeal mask airway behind the endotracheal tube using Bailey's Maneuver before extubation of endotracheal tube.

The lumbar discectomy is the surgery with low morbidity itself and need the prone position, which is essential for this surgery. However, the increased intra-abdominal pressure after changing supine to prone position may lead intra-abdominal hypertension or abdominal compartment syndrome, consequently acute mesenteric ischemia. Acute mesenteric ischemia is one of the fatal conditions of acute abdomen with overall mortality of 60% to 100%. Unfortunately, the early detection of mesenteric ischemia in perioperative period of spinal surgery is difficult. We herein report an experience of acute mesenteric ischemia after lumbar discectomy in prone position, and review the relative literatures.

본 연구는 감성마케팅 관점에서 호텔 브랜드 개성과 호텔 화예디자인으로써 대표적 사례인 로비 공간 크리스마스 장식 개성의 일치성을 실증적으로 살펴보고, 그 일치성이 크리스마스 장식의 선호도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 호텔 기업은 다른 화예디자인에 비하여 전통적 성향이 강한 크리스마스 장식까지 브랜드 개성을 반영하는 움직임을 시도하고 있고, 호텔 이용자들 또한 그 중요성을 인식하여 선호도에 반영하고 있음을 파악하였다. 호텔 브랜드 개성과 화예디자인의 개성의 관련성을 실증적으로 규명하는 연구는 지금까지 없었으며, 이러한 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 그러나 설문문항이 과도하게 많아짐으로써 답변의 성실도와 집중도가 떨어졌으며, 호텔 브랜드 개성을 형성하는 화예디자인으로 크리스마스 장식에 한정되었다는 한계점이 있다. 그러므로 추후에는 대상을 축소하여 심도 있는 연구를 진행해볼 필요성이 있으며, 크리스마스 장식 뿐 아니라 좀 더 다양한 화예디자인을 대상으로 확장해야할 것으로 사료된다.

우리나라의 화훼사업이 발달하면서 플라워샵이 날로 늘어가고 있으며 , 이미 서울의 부유한 강남지역에서는 포화상태에 이르렀다. 플라워샵의 화예디자인은 갈수록 획일화되어가고, 더욱이 경제난으로 인해 소비자의 발길도 줄어들어 어려움을 피하지 못하는 실정이다. 이러한 시점에서 효과적으로 화예디자인을 부흥시킬 수 있는 방법 중 하나로 명품브랜드와의 전략적 제휴를 들 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 화예디자인이 명품브랜드의 감성마케팅 측면에서 활용된 사례를 토대로, 설문을 통해 브랜드 아이덴티티와 어울리는 화예디자인의 요소와 작품을 선정하여, 그 연계성을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 에르메스 브랜드 화예디자인에 가장 어울리는 것으로 선정된 요소들과 작품은 앞에서 분석한 에르메스 브랜드 아이덴티티 내용과 일치하였다. 이로서 화예디자인은 브랜드 아이덴티티 측면에서 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 명품브랜드와 콜라보레이션 하기에 충분한 요소인 것으로 드러났다. 또한 명품브랜드와 화예디자인의 콜라보레이션 방향을 설정함에 있어 유용한 자료가 될 것이라고 판단된다. 다만 하나의 브랜드에 국한되어 있다는 한계점이 있으므로, 추후 다른 명품브랜드의 화예디자인과 비교연구가 필요할 것이다.

A new gerbera variety 'Claret' was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI) in 2006. A cross was made between 'Rako' with pink and semi-double and 'Sessile' with orange and single in 2000. After investigation of the characteristics for 6 years (from 2000 to 2006), it was selected specially for the use of cut-flower. 'Claret' is vigorous cultivar with purple and semi-double. It produces a large yield with continuous supply of flowers and has adequate peduncle height and brilliant color. We believe that 'Claret' has a great potential for expanding cultivated area of domestic mini-gerbera cultivar and increasing farmers-income.

After investigation of the characteristics for 6 years (from 2000 to 2006), it was selected specially for the use of cut-flower. 'Peach Honey' is vigorous cultivar with salmon and semi-double. It produces a large yield with continuous supply of flowers and has adequate peduncle height and brilliant color. We believe that 'Peach Honey' has a great potential for expanding cultivated area of domestic gerbera cultivar and increasing farmers-income.
