Cyclodextrin are obtained from starch by enzymatic degradation. The three best characterize forms are α, β, γ cyclodextrin consisting of 6, 7, and 8 D-glucose units, respectively. Each of the glucose units are in the rigid C1 chair conformation and are linked by α 1,4 bonds. This geometry gives the cyclodextrin the shape of a hollow truncated cone with the wider side formed by the secondary 2- and 3-hydroxy groups and the narrower side by the primary 6-hydroxy group. The most characteristics property of the cyclodextrin is their ability to form inclusion complexes with a wide range of guest moleculars. We syntheses per-6-substituted β-cyclodextrin derivatives and investigate structures, spectrospcopic properties. The substituted materials are piperidine, piperazin, morphorine. The synthetic compound showed a good solubility than natural β cyclodextrin in organic solvents such as methylene chloride, methanol, ethanol, etc.

(Fe0.98Mn0.02)xSi2(x≤1) 조성으로, 용융법으로 제조한 α-Fe2Si5상의 잉곳을 730~850˚C에서 4~20시간 열처리하거나, 기계적 합금화로 제조한 ε-FeSi과 Si상으로 구성된 분말을 760~850˚C에서 10분간 가압통전소결하므로써 β-FeSi2기지상에 Si이 분산된 미세조직을 얻을 수 있었다. 조성, 열처리 온도와 소결 온도에 따라 Si 분상의 크기와 간격이 각기 0.05~0.27μm와 0.2~0.6μm 범위에서 변화하였다. 이와 같은 Si 분산상에 의해 β-FeSi2의 격자 열전도도가 감소되어 성능지수가 향상될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

고구마 β-아밀라아제를 NaIO_4-산화 가용성 전분으로 변형하여 안정성을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 최적안정 pH는 3 및 4를 나타냈고, pH 3, 5∼9, 11에서 비변형 효소보다 높은 안정성을 나타냈다. 60℃에서 15분동안 변형효소는 비변형 효소보다 안정성이 증가하였다. 변형 보리 β-아밀라아제는 전체 pH에 걸쳐서 넓은 pH 안정성을 나타냈고, α-cyclodextrin은 이를 더욱 증가시켰다.

We present the systematic variations of Hβ index of simple stellar populations due to horizontal-branch (HB) stars. Most of the previous works have been done without careful considerations of HB stars. Since the Balmer line strengths are very sensitive to the temperature, including the HB stars are quite important. We found that the strength of H,6 index is strongly affected by HB stars, and hence the age estimation without careful consideration of the variation of HB morphology with metallicity and age would underestimate the ages of ellipticals.

여러 시약에 의한 고구마 β-아밀라아제의 안정화 작용을 검토하였다. 0.04% bovine serum albumin, Triton X-100, 2-mercaptoethanol 등은 고구마 β-아밀라아제를 안정화시켰다. 그 중 bovine serum albumin의 안정화 작용이 가장 강하였다. 또, 반응용액을 탈기하면 고구마 β-아밀라아제의 안정성이 증가하였다. 알칼리 pH에서 글리세롤은 농도가 높을수록 효소 안정성을 증가시켰다. 그래서 pH 11, 37℃에서 15시간 후 글리세롤이 존재하지 않을 때는 0%, 20% 글리세롤에서는 25%, 40% 글리세롤에서는 50%의 활성이 남았다. SDS는 효소를 저해하였고, 2-mercaptoethanol과 dithiothreitol은 안정화시켰다.

고구마 β-아밀라아제를 아세톤 분별침전, DEAE Sephadex A-50, Sephadex G-200으로 정제하였다. 정제효소의 열안정성은 효소농도가 높을수록 높았다. pH 5, 65℃에서 1시간반 후, 효소농도 30㎍/ml 이하에서는 실활하였지만, 100㎍/ml에서는 25%의 활성이 남았다. 정제효소는 pH 4∼10 범위에서 안정하였고, 글리세롤은 pH 안정성을 증가시켰다. NaCl은 pH 4.8, 0.5M 농도에서 효소활성을 100% 저해하였다. SDS는 pH 5, 37℃에서 12시간 반응시킨 결과 0.05% 농도에서 효소활성을 완전히 저해하였다. 염산구아니딘은 pH 5, 37℃에서 13시간 반응시킨 결과 1M 농도에서, 우레아는 8M농도에서 효소활성을 완전히 저해하였다.

We have analyzed vector magnetograms and Hβ filtergrams of two sunspot groups, one in a growing phase and the other in a decaying phase. In this study, the temporal evolution of their magnetic morphology has been investigated in association with solar activity. The morphological variations of the growing and decaying phase of these sunspots revealed in detail the coalescence of small spots into a large spot and the fragmentation of a large spot into many small spots, respectively. Numerous small flares were detected in the spot group during the decaying phase. This seems to be intimately associated with the shearing motions of many spots with different polarities created by fragmentation of a large sunspot. The magnetic flux and the average shear angle are found to be substantially reduced during the decaying phase, especially in the course of the flarings. This implies that the decaying phase of the sunspot is, to some degree, involved with magnetic field cancellation. The growing spot group has not shown any large activities, but numerous small spots have grown into a typical bipolar sunspot.

15 vol% ZrO2가 첨가된 Na β"-alumina 복합재를 1단계와 2단계 소결법을 사용하여 제조하였다. ZrO2는 효율적으로 Na β"-alumina에 비해 약 51%정도 증가하였으며 열처리 시간에 따른 Klc값의 큰 변화는 관찰되지 않았다. 그러나 이들 복합재의 굽힘 강도 값은 열처리 시간이 60분을 초과함에 따라 점차 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다. 2단계 소결법으로 제조한 Na 복합재의 전기 전도도는 1단계 소결법으로 제조된 시편과 달리 열처리 시간에 따른 전도도 값의 분산성이 거의 없었으며, 그 값은 다결정 Na β"-alumina의 전도도와 거의 동일하였다. Na 복합재 및 이온교환법에 의해 제조한 K 복합재의 전기전도도 값은 300˚C에서 각각 1.3x 10-1과 5.9x20-2Scm-1로 측정되었다.2Scm-1로 측정되었다.

칡(Peuraria thunbergiana Bentham) 의 뿌리에서 추출한 조효소액을 황산암모늄으로 분획하고 이온교환 크로마트그래픽 및 겔여과에 의해 부분 정제하고 얻은 β-amylase의 효소학적 특성을 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 칡뿌리 β-amylase는 황산암모늄 0.4포화 이하의 획분에서 85% 이상의 활성을 나타내었으며, 가용성 전분을 기질로하여 maltose 를 생성하여 전형적인 β-amylase의 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 최적 pH, 최적 온도는 pH 6.0 및 50℃ 이었으며 pH 6.5∼7.0, 50℃이하에서 안정하였다. 기질농도에 대한 Km은 66.7mg% 이었으며 금속이온은 카드뮴, 알루미늄, 철, 은, 수은, 구리 등의 이온에 의해 효소활성이 저해되었다.

Inclusion complex of omeprazol with β-cyclodextrin and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin were prepared by coprecipitation and freeze-drying method respectively. Effects of these inclusion complex on RBCs were monitored with a spectrophotometer by the method of Kahan et al. and the mutagenic activity based on the Ames plate incorporation test in the presence and absence of liver microsomal enzyme(S9 fraction) using Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100. The RBCs hemolysis and mutagenic activity of these complex were not detected.
