        This study is intended to look into the effect of construction safety supervision system on risk control and reduction. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 114 companies in construction, ordering, contract and management. The overall findings were as follows. The effect of construction safety supervision system on risk control and reduction showed that factors of supervision system, supervision cost and supervision method had a positive effect on risk control and reduction. And their perception of the introduction of safety supervision system in construction sites according to process showed that there was a difference between them according to the field of ordering, contract and supervision. There was the biggest difference between owner and contractor in double supervision system, but no difference between them in the perception of risk reduction. These results show that all ordering, contract and supervision are positively needed for the introduction of construction safety supervision. This means that there is a difference between owner and contractor in the perception of process according to system operation. All companies agree to system improvement by the settlement of safety supervision system for the prevention of safety accidents and safe construction, but the systematic complement of safety supervision is the burden of contractor. And there is a big difference between owner and contractor in the perception of responsibility and concern for cost burden.

        PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to evaluate the application of soil stabilization method for soft shoulder construction in the iRoad Project of Sri Lanka. METHODS: Firstly, the quantitative analysis of soil strength improvement due to soil stabilization was done for soil samples collected from iRoad construction sites. Two types of soils were selected from iRoad Project sites and prepared for soil stabilization testing by the Road Development Authority. Secondly, the appropriate stabilizer was selected at given soil type based on test results. Two different stabilizers, ST-1 and ST-2, produced in Korea were used for estimating soil strength improvements. Finally, the optimum stabilizer content was determined for improving shoulder performance. The uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) test was conducted to evaluate the strength of stabilized soil samples in accordance with ASTM D 1633. The use of bottom ash as a stabilizer produced from power plant in Sri Lanka was also reviewed in this task. RESULTS: It is found from the UCS testing that a 3% use of soil stabilizer can improve the strength up to 2~5 times in stabilized soft shoulder soils with respect to unstabilized soils. It is also observed from UCS testing that the ST-1 shows high strength improvement in 3% of stabilizer content but the strength improvement rate with increase of stabilizer content is relatively low compared with ST-2. The ST-2 shows a low UCS value at 3% of content but the UCS values increase significantly with increase of stabilizer content. When using the ST-2 as stabilizing agent, the 5% is recommended as minimum content based on UCS testing results. Based on the testing results for bottom ash replacement, the stabilized sample with bottom ash shows the low strength value. CONCLUSIONS: This paper is intended to check the feasibility for use the soil stabilization technique for shoulder construction in Sri Lanka. The use of soil stabilizer enables to improve the durability and strength in soft shoulder materials. When applying the bottom ash as a soil stabilizer, various testings should be conducted to satisfy the specification criteria.

        본 연구는 임도개설 전・후 년차별로 식물상 및 식생에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 식생의 변화 및 관리 방안을 제공하기 위하여 민주지산 조사구간을 대상으로 임도개설 전년도인 2012년부터 임도 개설 2015년까지 4년에 걸쳐 수행되었다. 임도개설 조사구간 내의 식물군락은 북서사면에서 신갈나무군락, 남서사면에서 굴참나무군락과 일본잎갈나무군락으로 구분되어 남서사면과 북서사면에서 군락의 차이를 보였다. 임도개설 전・후 년차별로 식물상의 변화는 임도 개설 전인 2012년도 총 66분류군(44과 59속 51종 13변종 2품종)에서 2015년도에는 209분류군(71과 153속 178종 27변종 4품종) 으로 143분류군이 증가한 것으로 조사되었다. 특히 2013년도에 개설된 임도 근접 사면부의 조사구에서는 차후 년차적 으로 높은 식피율과 새로운 분류군의 증가를 보였는데 이는 임도 개설 후 광량이 급격히 증가하여 일어난 현상으로 사료된다. 임도 개설 마지막 년도인 2015년 식생조사 결과를 보면 임도 개발 다음연도는 초본층의 피도가 증가하다가 그 후에는 관목층의 피도가 현저히 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 2013년과 2014년에 비해 임도 개설 지역 근접 사면의 식피율이 많은 증가를 보였는 바 지속적인 보완 조사가 수행된다면 향후 임도개설 전・후 식물상 및 식생 변화에 있어서 면밀히 분석된 매뉴얼이 완성될 것으로 사료된다.

        오늘날 기성고 산정에 따른 완성공사비 대금지급의 산정에 대한 기준이 미흡하여 적정한 기성대금 산출이 이루어지지 않고 있어 분쟁이 많이 발생되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 선행논문은 기성고 해지비용, 건설 분쟁 예방 및 해결방안, 분쟁조정제도, 재판 외 분쟁해결방식 ADR(Alternation Dispute Resolution) 등으로 제도개선 이전에 단순한 여론조사 수준으로 시장분석을 기본으로 하는 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구는 선행논문 검토와 문헌 조사, 전문가들의 실증적 분석, 본인 연구자의 실무 경험을 통해 국내ㆍ외 건설공사 기성고 산정에 대한 자료를 수집하고 분석하여 현행 건설공사 기성고 산정제도의 현황과 문제점을 검토하고 담론적ㆍ실증적으로 병행 분석하였다. 또한 실증적 분석에서 552명 중 33.10%가 내역서가 있는 경우 완성된 기성금액은 계약 수량에 완성된 수량을 곱하여 산정하는 것으로 조사되어 별도의 미완성공사비를 산정하지 않는 것으로 분석하였다.

        The purpose of this study is to reduce the accident rate by introducing a safety system for small construction sites belonging to local governments. In the case of a small construction site, permission is granted through the building permission department and the construction management of the building safety management of 1,000 square meters of floor area less than 3 stories is not properly performed in the Enforcement Decree of the Building Act of Korea. In the current state of industrial accidents in 2016, 81.8% of all accident victims are found to be vulnerable to accident such as those occurring at work places with less than 50 employees. Considering the fact that the construction work with less than 5 billion KRW of the construction cost in Korea generates the most deaths, it is time to introduce the safety and health system of local governments.

        소비자들의 구매 욕구를 충족시키기 위하여 상업시설에서는 판매와 관련된 다양한 공간표현이 요구되고, 소비자의 시선을 끄는 상품의 배치나 공간구성은 곧 마케팅 전략으로 이어질 수 있다. 사람의 눈은 가장 많은 정보를 획득하는 감각기관으로 시각정보에 대한 분석은 <공간과 사용자>의 상호간의 시각적 관련성을 파악할 수 있는데, 그간 연구에서는 실험이미지를 통해 정지된 화상에 대한 분석이 대다수 이며, 상업공간의 이동영상을 바탕으로 공간에 대한 시선정보를 분석한 연구는 미비하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상업시설의 이동경로를 촬영한 동영상을 실험에 사용함으로써 공간분석에 있어 사실감이 부여된 공간 사용자 시선정보를 통한 감성반응을 분석하였다. 이동동선의 직선구간을 분석구간으로 설정하고, 획득된 데이터를 바탕으로 5개의 주시강도 범위에 대한 구간특성을 살펴본 결과, 이동동선의 시작점인 A구간(직선구간-1)에서는 주시강도가 낮게 나타났으며, B구간(직선구간-2)에서 가장 높은 주시강도가 나타난 것을 알 수 있다. 이는 피험자들의 B구간부터 안정적인 공간 탐색을 한 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 실험영상에 대한 적응시간이 필요한 것을 알 수 있다. 주시집중구역에 대한 공간특성을 살펴보면, 6개 구간 중 4개 구간에서 우측매장의 진열방식에 대한 시선의 집중이 더 높게 나타난 것을 알 수 있다. 소비자의 시선이 높게 머무른 요소는 소품위주로 시선이 유도되었으며, 매장 내 쇼케이스 같은 진열형식에 시선정보가 높게 나타난 것을 알 수 있다. 이러한 분석방법을 통해 소비자의 시선이 선호하는 상품진열방법, 상품요소 배치 등 직접적인 디자인 자료로 활용 가치가 높게 제공 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        이 연구는 소송심리를 충실화할 수 있는 방법으로 현재 법원이 운영하고 있는 상임전문심리위원제도를 보다 효율적으로 활용하는 방법에 대한 것이다. 상임전문심리위원제도는 기술심리관제도를 벤치마킹하여 기존 전문심리위원제도를 개선한 것으로 법원에 상주하는 건축과 의료분야 비법관전문가를 통해 법관을 보조하는 것이다. 상임전문심리위원제도는 감정을 포함한 소송 전 과정에서 법관을 보조하므로 소송의 효율성을 높일 수 있으며, 감정결과를 포함한 해당분야 전문사실 등에 대한 법관의 이해를 높일 수 있어 판결의 신뢰도를 높일 수 있다. 아울러 감정결과와 감정인에 대한 객관적이고 전문적인 평가가 가능하여 감정인과 더불어 감정의 발전을 기대할 수 있다. 이 밖에 효율적인 소송 진행을 통해 소송 기간을 단축하고, 사전검토를 통해 불필요한 감정이나 추가감정 등을 줄여 소송당사자들의 비용을 절감할 수 있어 소송으로 낭비되는 사회적비용 또한 줄일 수 있다.

        Domestic continuously reinforced concrete pavement has been built on a large scale on the Jungbu Expressway, which opened in 1987. Since then, there have been few application due to cost and construction difficulty. Currently, most of the expressway concrete pavements have been applied with jointed plain concrete pavement, but the interest in continuously reinforced concrete pavement has been increasing recently due to frequent premature failure in joints of JPCP. Accordingly, Korea Expressway Corporation has established design guidelines and details for continuously reinforced concrete pavements for expressway in 2014, based on the design method applied to the Jungbu Expressway, but incorporating foreign useful design methods. In terms of construction, pilot constructions were performed on Pyeongtaek~Jecheon Expressway Construction. The new design guidelines were applied to some sections of the Sangju~Yeongdeok Expressway Construction Project in 2016. This study conducted a survey and analysis of transverse cracks for one year after continuously reinforced concrete pavement construction in Sangju~Yeongdeok Expressway. This route was constructed with pavement thickness, base layer and longitudinal reinforcement according to domestic design guidelines. However, the transverse reinforcement was arranged differently according to the section. After construction, the transverse crack spacing was surveyed and the crack gauges were installed at the crack position to measure the movement. This compares the crack spacing according to the characteristics of longitudinal reinforcement and observes continuous movement of the crack width. The results showed that the crack spacing was more affected by the climate at the time of construction than the arrangement method of the transverse reinforcement. The crack width showed periodic changes according to the temperature change over 24 hours. However, due to seasonal changes, it showed a tendency of gradual increasing or decreasing in crack widths, and it was predicted that different measurement results will be shown depending on the time of crack width measurement. Generally, it is predicted that the crack spacing will be narrowed and the crack movement will tend to converge with the period after construction. This initial crack movement data is expected to be useful for comparing whether these predictions are valid.

        Composite pavements are constructed by placing a high functional asphalt surface layer on a high performance concrete rigid base layer and provide a more durable, high functional surface to road users. Service life of composite pavements is dependent on the bonding performance of the lower rigid base and the flexible surface layer. Accordingly, it is necessary to place an impermeability layer between the functional surface layer and the rigid base to enhance bonding performance and to prevent moisture penetration into the rigid base and deterioration of pavement. In order to use optimal composite pavement sections, two types were applied to impermeability layer: highly impermeable water-tight SMA and mastic asphalt currently in use. APT (Accelerated Pavement Testing) and experimental construction were carried out to evaluate bond strengths between the rigid base and the impermeability layer depending on the type of impermeability layers. Composite pavement sections for the APT had a 22 cm concrete rigid base layer and a 5cm functional surface, as well as either 5cm of SMA impermeability layer and 5cm of mastic layer. After applying around 8,574,000 ESALs, pull-off test was conducted, which showed that the mastic section outperformed the SMA section. In the experimental construction, three types of rigid base layers, JCP (Jointed Concrete Pavement), CRCP (Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement), and RCCP (Roller Compacted Concrete Pavement), were used for composite pavement sections, and as in the APT, two types of impermeability layers, SMA and mastic, were used per rigid base layer of new and deteriorated concrete pavement. Therefore, seven composite pavement sections in total were constructed. We measured the bond strength over one year or so following the construction of these composite pavement sections and found that regardless of the type of rigid base layer and whether it was new or not, those sections with a mastic impermeability layer had high bond strengths.

        In Sri Lanka, the shoulder in asphalt pavements has been constructed using the materials transported from borrow pit in the iRoad Project due to the low quality of in-situ soils. After excavating 150~200mm thick and 500mm wide shoulder area, the borrow pit materials are placed and compacted according to specifications. The excavated in-situ soils are dumped in designated location. It is estimated that this process of shoulder construction is not economical due to high material transportation cost and can also induce the environmental issues by disposal of in-situ soils. It can also cause distresses such as surface rutting and edge drop-off in soft shoulder section due to bearing capacity failure and off-tracking of vehicle. The heavy rainfall in Sri Lanka can induce severe erosion problem when using the soft shoulder. To improve the strength and durability of pavement shoulders in the iRoad Project, the soil stabilization will be a good alternative to solve the above mentioned problems. The use of in-situ soils with addition of soil stabilizer enables to reduce the construction cost of shoulder section and mitigate the environment issues. The objective of this task is to review the application of soil stabilization method for soft shoulder construction in the iRoad Project.
