The production method of micro sacrificial plastic mold insert metal injection molding, namely process has been proposed to solve specific problems involving the miniaturization of MIM. Two types of sacrificial plastic molds (SP-mold) with fine structures were used: 1) PMMA resist, 2) PMMA mold injected into Ni-electroform, which is a typical LIGA () process. Stainless steel 316L feedstock was injection-molded into the SP-molds with multi-pillar structures. This study focused on the effects of metal particle size and processing conditions on the shrinkage, transcription and surface roughness of sintered parts.

A series of model tests carried out at the CWC of WJFEL for the purpose of prediction of resistance for the performance and improvement of resistance by attaching appendage for the ship of 50 knots class planing hull. The resistance performance evaluation has been carried out for the bare hull and for the appendage hull with two different depth of vertical type wedges. In the bare model test, trim and sinkage is calculated for the planing hull and the resistance is calculated. For minimizing the resistance, wedge appendage is attached and tested. Analysis and tests shows that for a 12.5mm wedge, resistance is minimum and overall power tallied to 5636ps.

This study is the consideration about Hwaryeong-Jeon that enshrines Joseon Dynasty 22nd king Jeongjo's portrait of a king. Suwon's Hwaryeong-Jeon that accompanied a portrait and performed ritual ceremonies had several formalities and ceremonies which are connected with rituals. therefore, we will try to examine what relation between arrangement of building and plane composition had. And through this, it is thing to observe construction special quality that Hwaryeong-Jeon has. Joseon Dynasty's young-jeon (a hall where the royal portraits are kept) is retaining each other different state according to construction age every moment. Hwaryeong-Jeon among Joseon Dynasty's a hall of royal portraits is the construction form which is equiped well and is known for keeping the form well from the foundation to now And this building is evaluated as the standard form of early part young-jeon building of 19th century. Especially, Hwaryeong-Jeon shows the typical ritual equipments late Joseon Dynasty and at the same time has all kinds of characteristics which only we can find at Hwaryeong-Jeon. Namely, Hwaryeong-Jeon is the building which brings the design concept of the hall of royal portraits to completion as the building which enshrines single portrait of a king. After all, Hwaryeong-Jeon is evaluated as the building which can pass excellent form of late Joseon Dynasty, the hall of royal portraits building just as it is. Therefore, as I study its own style, I expect Joseon Dynasty's mind that enshrined the portrait of a king elaborately to be revealed.

The purpose of this study is to understand underlying principle to form the U-type folk house in the northwestern part of Kangwha Island by viewpoint of inner residents. It is found that many factors other than climate are coincidentally affecting the shape of house; Resident's fixed thought like following geomancer' suggestion, seeking fortune, and locating house enclosed low site; Economic reason of uniting one house with two buildings and making small type by used timber from dismantled house; Centralizing life with small courtyard by reason of family type change from extended to nuclear; Influence from L or ㅁ type of upper class building at Seoul area. The method is thick description of culture with ethnographic method from cognitive anthropology: Observing the form and restoring residents' life with open-ended deep interview.

There are two types of unaccusative verbs in English: change-type verbs and happen-type verbs. Korean learners of English seem to have serious acquisition problems of these verbs. The purpose of this study is to find the way to increase the acquisition rate of these verbs depending on two kinds of teaching methods: explicit focus-on-form instruction and implicit focus-on-form instruction and to observe which instructional technique is more effective in the Korean EFL learners' acquisition of these verbs. Through 10 weeks of instruction, this study showed that the learners who received the explicit focus-on-form instruction performed better than those who received the implicit instruction regarding the learning of English unaccusative verbs. Therefore, these results can be interpreted as providing evidence for facilitating the effectiveness of input enhancement for the L2 learning of English unaccusative verbs.

A three-dimensional (3-D) method of analysis is presented for determining the free vibration frequencies and mode shapes of solid paraboloidal and complete (that is, without a top opening) paraboloidal shells of revolution with variable wall thickness. Unlike conventional shell theories, which are mathematically two-dimensional (2-D), the present method is based upon the 3-D dynamic equations of elasticity. The ends of the shell may be free or may be subjected to any degree of constraint. Displacement components ur, uθ, and uz in the radial, circumferential, and axial directions, respectively, are taken to be sinusoidal in time, periodic in θ, and algebraic polynomials in the r and z directions. Potential (strain) and kinetic energies of the paraboloidal shells of revolution are formulated, and the Ritz method is used to solve the eigenvalue problem, thus yielding upper bound values of the frequencies by minimizing the frequencies. As the degree of the polynomials is increased, frequencies converge to the exact values. Convergence to four digit exactitude is demonstrated for the first five frequencies of the complete, shallow and deep paraboloidal shells of revolution with variable thickness. Numerical results are presented for a variety of paraboloidal shells having uniform or variable thickness, and being either shallow or deep. Frequencies for five solid paraboloids of different depth are also given. Comparisons are made between the frequencies from the present 3-D Ritz method and a 2-D thin shell theory.

최근까지 제품디자인에 있어서의 조형요소의 심미성에 관한 연구가 많이 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 기존의 연구는 "심미성 요인이 무엇인가\ulcorner"에 초점을 맞추어 왔을 뿐 각각의 심미적 요소들이 사용자의 심미적 반응에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지에 대해서는 그다지 연구된 바가 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 제품디자인에서 심미성 요소를 내용미와 형태미로 나누어 서로의 상관관계를 파악하고 사용자의 심미적 반응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 연구이다. 더욱이 연구의 초점이 내용미 중 전형성을, 형태미 중 균형을 중심으로 서로의 심미적 반응의 영향정도와 관여수준과 국가와 같은 조절변수에 의해 심미적 반응이 어떻게 달라지는지를 검증하고자 하기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구를 통하여 실제로 디자인 현장이나 기업에서 디자인에 있어서 심미적 영향요소를 적용하는 데에 대한 의미 있는 시사점을 제공해주고 디자인의 심미성에 대한 이론적인 체계를 만들어가는 것에 기여하리라 본다. 기여하리라 본다.

In order to vitrify the combustible dry active waste (DAW) generated from Korean Nuclear Power Plants, a glass formulation development based on waste composition was performed. A borosilicate glass, DG-2, was formulated to vitrify the DAW in an induction cold crucible melter (CCM). The processability, product performance, and volume reduction effect of the candidate glass were evaluated using a computer code and were measured experimentally in the laboratory and CCM. The glass viscosity and electrical conductivity as the process parameters were in the desired ranges. Start-up and maintaining glass melt of the candidate glass were favorable in the CCM. The product of the glass product such as chemical durability, phase stability, and density was satisfactory. The vitrification process using the candidate glass was also evaluated assuming that it was operated as economically as possible.

This study compares the effects of three different focus-on-form techniques in order to find out the best way of teaching English present perfect to Korean EFL learners. 120 university students were divided into three different groups depending on the degree of explicitness of instruction: the input flooding group, the input enhancement group, and the rule explanation group. The effects of each type of focus-on-form instruction were measured through the students' learning of the target structure and the comprehension of given reading texts. The results of the experiment show that in the learning of the target structure the rule explanation group was significantly better than the other two groups, and the implicit focus-on-form technique, input enhancement, was more effective than input flooding. The present study also revealed that no one type of focus-on-form technique was more effective than any other types in the comprehension of the reading texts.

더욱이 경쟁이 치열한 시장 환경 속에서 소비자의 선호요인 중 심미성이 중요하게 부각되는 현실에서 소비자의 라이프스타일의 변화와 그에 따른 소비자의 의식변화를 통해 소비자의 상품구매 기준 역시 변화를 가져왔다. 이렇게 변화하는 소비자의 욕구를 만족시키기 위해서는 디자인 기술과 방법 또한 그에 따른 변화가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 범주화 이론(Categorization theory)을 통한 전형성과 동시에 중요하게 인지되는 심미성의 개념적 구조를 파악하고, 심미적 영향 요소 중 한글서체와 관련성이 있다고 여겨지는 율동(rhythm)을 선정하여 이를 이미지 형태조작에 활용함으로써 다양한 형태발상을 유도한 새로운 디자인 프로세스를 구축함으로서 디자이너의 아이디어 발상의 한계성을 극복하고 소비자가 선호할 수 있는 디자인을 창출하여 디자인의 성공 확률을 높이고자 한다.

This study was carried out at the CWC of Chosun university for the purpose of resistance performance improvement of planing hull, and the results of the tests were confirmed cooperatively with WJFEL. G/T 100 ton class planing hull form was selected, and the improvement of hull form including appendages were performed by using some model test techniques. The model test scope comprises resistance relative tests including wave profile observation, trim and sinkage measurement and flow visualization tests at full load and trial conditions for one bare hull and for two appended hulls. The final wedge and spray strip combined with improved hull form showed about 1.0 knot speed improvement at both of full and trial conditions, and outstanding improvement for fore wave phenomena.

Yeats and Pound were the two central poets of the 20th century, dominating the modernist poetry in the first half and second half of the century. Pound began as Yeats's "student" reading the older poet's The Wind among the Reeds. When the apprenticeship with Yeats at Stone Cottage was over, Pound served as patron to almost all the major poets and writers, and some painters. Unlike the mythology of the last 50 years, in matters of poetic influence between them, Pound seems to have got more than he gave to Yeats. For instance, Pound could not find the value of the new poetic form emerging in Yeats's "Adam's Curse" which is alongside "Red Hanrahan's Song about Ireland." It is because he admired the early Yeats so much. It is not until Pound was bored by the shadows and dreams in his own poetry that he began to see "Adam's Curse," "No Second Troy," "Reconciliation." Before Pound did anything, Yeats had already undegone some transformation in his poetry. Then, why Pound had been so immersed in the early Yeats? Yeats had been a complex personality, capable of making use of what had seemed impossible as material for poetry: magic and mysticism, arts, folkore, Romantic poetics in his earlier career and politics, Noh drama, philosophy. At the last moment Yeats and Pound emerge as different poets; the older poet neither commits himself to his world nor alienates himself from it: he contemplates it as detached artist. Pound, on the other hand, chooses to be in utter solitude, with his memories of Stone Cottage sustaining him.
