        This study was conducted to find out the successive habitual practice of dietary life and all the educational tasks for the purpose of activating with female college students in Korea and Japan. The reesults are as follows. Housewives in both countries prepare 「the same menu」 for dinner about 65%. 「The rate of domestic manufacturing of preservated food 」 is superior in Korea. 「Goch'ujang」 is made by the 92% of Koreans, 「Doenjang」 89%, 「Ganjang」 48%, 「Oiji」 44% and 「Kimchi」 40%. 「Umeboshi」 is made by the 65% of Japanese, 「Rakkyo-Zuke」 37%, 「Kajitsu-syu」 40%, and 「Miso」 27%. Two countries' common seasonings are 「Ganjang」, 「Salt」, 「Chemical condiment」, 「Sugar」, 「Pepper」, 「Doenjang」 and 「Vinegar」. Koreans use the traditional seasonings, and in addition flavoring vegetables and oil which is Korea's own characteristic. Japanese use western seasonings frequently besides traditional seasonings. 「Mother's representative food」 as home dish are conscentrated on each count's native food. 「Kimch'i lyu」 is made by the 42% of Koreans, 「Doenjangchigae」 39%, 「Dakgangjong」 31%, and 「Saongsonmaeuntang」 19%. 「Misoshiru」 is made by the 83% of Japanese, 「Nishime」 76% and 「Nikujaga」 38%. Korea has more diverse kinds of food. People eat out 「when they have special home events」, 「when they would like to do」, and 「when they are going out」, It means that to eat out is one of the daily dinning styles. Therefore, for those who are engaged in eating house business it is necessary to form their righteous view of evaluation. Koreans learn more various items of table manner than Japan, which are the symbols of dietary culture. 「Carriage」 and 「Eating politely」 are common items. The extent to which 「people practice table manner」 and to which 「people think of it as being worth practicing」 are high in Japan than Korea.

        본 논문에서는 직장암 환자를 대상으로 일반적 치료방식인 3차원입체조형치료법과 선형가속기 기반의 I MRT, 그리고 토모테라피를 이용한 IMRT의 치료계획을 각각 수립하여 직장암 환자에 대한 최적의 치료법 을 비교하고자 하였다. 치료법 비교 결과 종양조직에서는 처방선량의 95% 이상의 흡수선량을 만족시키고 있었으며 정상조직인 방광, 소장, 넙다리머리뼈의 정상조직의 합병증 발생율의 기준(V40, V30, V20, V10) 을 만족하였다. 다만, 3가지의 치료법에서 선량분포측면에서 가장 효율적인 치료법은 Tomotherapy기반의 I MRT였으며 가장 낮은 효율을 보인 치료법은 3DCRT였다. 직장암의 방사선 치료시 환자의 자세재현성, 개 인적인 신체환경 등을 고려하여 가장 적합한 치료방식을 적용한다면 환자의 예후와 삶의 질에 긍정적인 효과가 나타날 것으로 사료된다.

        This study was conducted to evaluate the contents of total polyphenol and flavonoid, and the effect of antioxidant, antimicrobial activities and cytotoxicity in vitro by different solvent fractions from Orostachys japonicus. The ethylacetate fraction extract for O. japonicus contained 634.48 ㎍/g polyphenol and 205.20 ㎍/g flavonoid. The ABTS radical scavenging ability of ethylacetate fraction extract at 1 ㎎/㎖ was higher than 95% which is comparable to ascorbic acid of 97%. The APX enzymatic activity and CAT activity were 1125.89 μmol ascorbate oxidized/min/㎎ protein and 119.87 H2O2 decomposed/ min/㎎ protein, respectively. In disc agar plate diffusion assay, the extract gave rise to a larger inhibition circle with Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus and Malassezia furfur strains compared with antibiotics kanamycin suggestive of high antibiotic activity. The cytotoxicity of extracts of O. japonicus was significant differences between solvent fractions. That is, the cytotoxic effect against human cancer cell was higher in ethylacetate fraction extract than other fraction extracts. These results suggest that fraction extract of O. japonicus might be very effective and economical in developing natural antioxidant and antimicrobial.

        Background : The effective components of Omija(Schisandra chinensis Bailllon) are lignans (schizandrins and gomisins), and this components were contented mostly in seed part on Omija, which have various physiological functionalities such as anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant activities. Methods and Results : This study was carried out to determine effective condition(CO2, CO2+ethanol) on extraction using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (SFE) system and to find interrelation on effective components and antioxidant activity of extracts and residues obtained after extraction. Effective components were analysed lignans and phenolic compounds and antioxidant activirty was determined for DPPH radical scavenging ability on methanol extracts of SFE-extract and SFE-residue. On SFE with ethanol, SFE extract was separated two phase, upper(water phase) and lower(oil phase). SFE-extract showed the highest total lignans content(61.36 mg/g, 72.14 mg/g on lower, 50.58 mg/g on upper) and the lowest total phenolic compounds(6.52 mg/100g) and SFE-residue showed the lowest total lignans content(1.45 mg/g) and the highest total phenolic compounds(16.23 mg/100g) by extracted on CO2+ethanol treatment. SFE-residue methanol extract showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging abilities and SFE-extract upper showed the lowest. Conclusion : Thus, this results showed SFE-extract showed the highest total lignans content, but SFE-residue showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging ability although the lowest total lignans content.

        In this study, the leaching characteristics of magnesium from mine residue by acid leaching method was studied. First, It was confirmed the effect of the particle size. The particle size was selected 80 mesh in consideration of the leaching amount and recycling rate of Mg. And after, It was compared to the leaching characteristics of magnesium by H2SO4, HCl and HNO3. Among them, leaching efficiency of H2SO4 was best. After the experiments were conducted with H2SO4. The effect of various parameters such as acid concentration, reaction temperature, and liquid/solid ratio on the leaching process were investigated. It was determined that the leaching amount of magnesium increased with reaction acid concentration, temperature, and liquid/solid ratio, and decreasing particle size. Maximum leaching amount of magnesium was obtained at the condition of particle size blow 80 mesh, temperature 80oC, 6 M H2SO4, 10/1 liquid/solid ratio, 6 h of reaction time and 180 rpm.

        Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW) are disposed of three types (recycling, incineration, landfill). The ashes made after the incineration are also recycled to minimize the volume of waste owing to reducing the amount of landfill. However, MSW incinerations (MSWI) in Seoul are not satisfied with the policy of Korea as a result of experiments about the chemical characteristics of the ash (Ignition loss, pH, Chloride, Cyanide, metals leaching). So, according to the policy, the MSWI in Seoul must be pretreated so as to recycle the MSWI. There are many pretreatments, three pretreatments (washing, weathering, CO2 aging) of which are selected through the literature review. Through Washing, the value of pH and chloride decrease. The optimal ratio (S/L) and time of Washing treatment is 1 : 10 (S/L) and 60 minutes, respectively. The CO2 aging method compensates the defect of weathering method which is required to react long-period time. After CO2 aging, pH and some Heavy metals decrease. So, We will compare and evaluate pre-treatment methods and we find the best method or new method.

        The low quality fresh ginseng was fermented by Phelinus linteus or Hericium erinaceum mycelium. This fermented ginseng was extracted by water at 100℃ or water with ultrasonification at 60℃. Total phenolic compounds was improved by ultrasonification extraction process, compare to conventional water extraction. All extracts enhanced the growth of human B and T cells, showing 2.68 times and 3.43 times higher, respectively, than the control. The secretion of TNF-α and IL-6 from human immune cells was enhanced as 3.53×10-4 pg/cell, 3.40×10-4 pg/cell by adding H. erinaceum mycelium fermented ginseng. H. erinaceum mycelium fermented ginseng yielded higher nitric oxide production from macrophage than Lipopolysaccharides (LPS). The cytotoxicity on human normal kidney cell (HEK293) was as low as 20.5% in adding the maximum concentration of 1.0 mg/ml of fermented ginseng. Generally, the extracts from ultrasonification extraction process showed 10% lower toxicity than that by conventional process. H. erinaceum mycelium fermented ginseng had the highest anticancer activity on human lung cancer and stomach cancer cells as 69.33% and 75.32%, respectively at 1.0 mg/ml. It can be concluded that, in general, H. erinaceum mycelium fermented ginseng has relatively better immune and anticancer activities than P. linteus fermented ginseng. Expecially, the extracts treated with ultrasonification had higher activities than that from conventional extraction process.

        This study was carried out to obtain general agronomic characteristics and identify its relationship with seeding date for high quality soybean seed production. One hundred(100) domestic soybean varieties were used and seeding date were scheduled at April 30 and May 30. This experiment was carried out at YARI, NICE situated at Miryang from 2005 to 2006. Maturity Group(MG) was classified by Kweon et al's method (1974). Correlation analysis of major agronomic characters showed positive relationship between days to flowering and growth days, seed weight and lodging in MG ,seed crack and growth days in Ⅳ~Ⅴ MG0~Ⅲ,seed crack and days to flowering in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ, seed crack and lodging in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ, seed crack and seed weight in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ, purple seed and growth days in MGⅣ~Ⅴ , purple seed and seed weight in MGⅥ~Ⅶ, phomopsis and growth days in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ, and phomopsis and purple seed in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ. In contrast, a negative relationship was observed between seed weight and lodging in MG0~Ⅲ. Correlating yield and major characters revealed negative relationship between days to flowering and growth days in MG0~Ⅲ and MGⅣ~Ⅴ, whereas positive relationships were obtained on MGⅥ~Ⅶ seeded on April 30. Lodging, seed weight and seed crack were all negatively correlated with yield in MGⅣ~Ⅴ and MGⅥ~Ⅶ

        한국에 분포하고 있는 82종의 약용식물에 대하여 환경내성 및 기능성 소재의 개발을 위한 탐색을 위하여 항산화효소와 관련된 첫 번째 방어기작인 SOD 효소활성과 Phenol 화합물의 함량정도를 검정하여 본 결과 SOD 효소활성은 원지 (P. tenuifolia Willd.), 백편두 (D. lablab L.), 백개자 (S. alba L.), 대황 (R. palmatum L.), 감초 (G. uralensis Fisch), 연자육 (N. nucifera Gaertn), 지황 [R. glutinosa (Gaertner) Liboshitz], 현삼 (S. buergeriana Miq.), 인진 (A. capillaris Thb.)등에서 다른 약용작물보다 비교적 높은 SOD 효소 활성 능력을 나타냈다. Total phenol함량은 (3~249.731 μg/g)의 범위를 보였으며 지유(S. officinalis L.), 대황 (R. palmatum L.), 복분자 (R. chingii Hu)에서 각각 249.731 μg/g, 209.546 μg/g, 170.333 μg/g으로 가장 높은 함량을 나타냈다. 16종의 phenol 화합물의 경우에서는 82종의 약용식물이 각기 매우 상이한 농도의 분포를 나타내었다. 앞으로의 연구에서는, 항산화 효소 및 phenol 화합물이 많이 함유하여 우수한 기능성을 가지고 있는 것을 확인된 약용식물에 대해 그들의 이용성을 증대시킬 수 있는 구체적인 연구가 수행되어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 phenol성 물질을 많이 함유하는 약용식물 추출물을 이용한 기능성 식품, 화장품, 천연 보존재 및 의약품 등으로 개발 (Cook & Samman, 1996)할 수 있을 것으로 판단되어진다.

        물쑥을 유용화하기위해 물쑥의 화학성분을 수집 종쑥과 분석비교한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 일반성분중 수분, 조회분 및 조섬유의 함량은 물쑥이 수집종쑥보다 높았다. 2. 비타민함량에 있어서는 thimain, riboflavin 및 ascorbic acid의 함량은 물쑥이 수집종쑥보다 약간 낮았고 niacin함량은 약간 높았다. 3. 식이섬유소함량은 물쑥이 40.91%, 수집종쑥이 38.42%이었으며 물쑥이 수집종쑥보다 hemicellusose, cellulose의 함량이 높았고 lignin함량은 낮았다. 4. 무기질함량중 K함량이 물쑥 5206.7mg%, 일반 쑥 4166.7mg%로 가장 높았고 Na, Fe 및 Mn의 함량은 물쑥이 수집종쑥보다 2배이상 높았으며 Cu함량만 물쑥이 수집종쑥보다 낮았다. 5. Phenolic compound 의 함량은 수집종쑥보다 물쑥이 약간 높았다.

        As the marine traffic thickens all over the world, the rate of marine casualities is on the increase, Also in Korea the number of the killed and the injured resulting from marine casualities such as ship's collision, increase continuously and the rate of marine casualities in 1992 came to the highest level in the world. The reason of rapid increasing the rte of marine casualities is the mistake of ship's steering in most case. By the way, because the administration of marine traffic is regarded as the belongs of land traffic, the scope of application in laws related to the safety of marine traffic is duplicated or unreasonable. In the view, in case of ship's collision, it is important to know the scope of application in Korean marine traffic laws and to point out the problems companies with them. Therefore, I suggest the improvement of marine traffic laws related to the safety of traffic administration.

        실험실에서 실시한 검정으로 Lotus와 Red clover 종자의 포장출현율 예측에 효과적인 검정방법을 구명하기 위하여 상이한 조건에서 재배된 종자를 퇴화조절검정법, 인위노화검정법과 전기전도도 검정방법으로 검정하였다. 이들을 포장출현율과의 관련성을 구명 하였던 바 1. Lotus와 Red clover의 포장출현율을 예측할 때 퇴화조절검정에서는 (equation omitted)=12.786+0.65X(R2 =0.687), 인위노화검정에서는 (equation omitted)=25.989+0.39X(R2 =0.260), 전기전도도검정에서는 (equation omitted)=141.932-0.86X(R2 =0.238)으로써 예측할 수 있었으며 2. 이들 세가지 검정에서의 결과와 포장출현율과는 다음과 같은 다중회귀방정식으로 나타낼수 있었다. (equation omitted)=-198.16+2.3493X1 -1.5564X2 +1.981X3 (R2 =0.916) 여기서, X1 , 퇴화조절검정법 ; X2 , 인위노화검정법 ; X3 , 전기전도도검정임. 3. 이러한 결과는 단일검정법으로 실내에서 포장출현율을 예측하려면 인위노화검정법이나 전기전도검정법 보다도 퇴화조절검정법이 비교적 효율이 높았으며, 이들 세가지 방법을 병용할 때에는 단일검정법보다도 효율을 증가시킬수 있었다.
