        The study conducted finite element analysis in advance to understand the natural frequency, con-ducted static structural analysis and analyzed stress behavior occurring on the boundary of wheel and rail when passing the straight line and curve line. According to the FEA, the wheel had natural frequency of 1st mode 238.4Hz to 10th mode 1,320Hz, and the rail had natural frequency of 457.4Hz to 619.7Hz. When looking at the correlated frequency range, the natural frequency of 4th~6th mode of wheel and 3rd~9th mode of rail track were correlated. As for the result of stress behavior translation occurring on the boundary of wheel and track, it was 53.4MPa when passing the curve line, which was 16MPa higher than when passing the straight line.

        In this paper, the shape adjustment algorithm of the spoked wheel cable structures with retractable membrane system is studied. The initial tension of the membrane or cable is necessary to form the structure and its value is determined by the design shape. However, due to internal and external environmental influences, its shape may be different from the initial designed shape. In the case of the cable structures covered in this study, tension adjustment is necessary to maintain the designed shape because it influences the tension of the cable depending on the state of the retractable membrane. Therefore, we proposed an adjustment algorithm of an initial shape based on the force method. The effectiveness and validity of the methodology were examined through the applicable cable structures. The results of the shape adjustment analysis of the symmetric spoked wheel cable model were reliable and accurate results were obtained.

        본 연구는 3륜 승용관리기 복부 장착형의 회전 종자판식 2조 정밀 콩 파종작업기를 개발하여 장류 콩인 대원 콩을 대상으로 시험 포장에서 설정 파종 주간거리에 따른 작업속도별 파종작업기의 파종성능을 분석 하였다. 파종작업기 포장시험 결과 평균 파종 깊이는 2.34~3.98cm 범위로 나타났으며, 평균 주당 파종 종자 수는 2.00~2.36개의 범위로 나타났고, 평균 파종 주간거리는 설정 주간거리 15, 20, 25cm일 때 각 각 15.48~16.80, 20.04~22.04, 23.96~24.60cm의 범위로 나타났다. 평균 주당 출아 수는 1.89~2.12개 로 약 90% 이상의 높은 출아율을 보였으며, 평균 출아 주간거리는 설정 주간거리 15, 20, 25cm일 때 각 각 15.10~16.32, 19.84~20.45, 24.23~24.56cm의 범위로 나타났다. 콩 파종기는 설정 파종 주간거리 15, 20, 25cm에서 파종 작업속도 약 1.7m/s까지 설정 주간거리에 대한 평균 출아 주간거리의 비율과 평 균 주당 출아 수가 각각 96.9~108.8%, 1.89~2.12개로 나타나 매우 우수한 점파 파종성능을 보인 것으로 판단되며, 파종 작업속도를 1.0m/s, 포장효율을 약 60%로 고려할 때 콩 파종작업기는 약 30a/h의 유효작 업능률을 보일 것으로 예상되었다.

        With the recent remarkable improvements in the average speeds of contemporary trains, a necessity has arisen for the development of new friction modifiers to improve adhesion characteristics at the wheel-rail interface. The friction modifier must be designed to reduce slippage or sliding of the trains’ wheels on the rails under conditions of rapid acceleration or braking without excessive rolling contact wear. In this study, a novel composite material consisting of metal, ceramic, and polymer is proposed as a friction modifier to improve adhesion between wheels and rails. A blend of Al-6Cu-0.5Mg metallic powder, Al2O3 ceramic powder, and Bakelite-based polymer in various weight-fractions is hot-pressed at 150oC to form a bulk composite material. Variation in the adhesion coefficient is evaluated using a high-speed wheel-rail friction tester, with and without application of the composite friction modifier, under both dry and wet conditions. The effect of varying the weighting fractions of metal and ceramic friction powders is detailed in the paper.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to analyze not only the strength but also the durability and abrasion resistance of concrete pavements as increasing the cases of domestic concrete pavement damage which do not meet the service years. METHODS: The bottom layer of a two-lift concrete pavement was paved with original Portland cement (OPC) with 20~23 cm thickness. On the other hand, the top-layer, which is directly exposed to the environment and vehicles, was paved with high-performance concrete (HPC) with 7~10 cm thickness. For the optimal mixed design of the top-layer material of a two-lift concrete pavement, silica fume and polymer powder were mixed. Furthermore, it analyzes abrasion resistance of concrete as follow‘ ASTM C 779’which is dressing wheel abrasion test method. RESULTS : As a result, abrasion resistance is improved with increasing the silica fume ratio. When the polymer powder is mixed, abrasion resistance of concrete is much improved. However, the effect of mixing ratio is not significant. It is very effective that adding both silica fume and polymer powder occur 20~40% of abrasion comparing with OPC variables. CONCLUSIONS : The concrete strength and durability increased with silica fume and polymer powder. In particular, it is significant increasing strength of polymer powder under the flexural strength. In the abrasion resistance side, it is also significant when the silica fume and polymer powder used together.

        Structural analyses were performed for a movable seat mechanism applied in a new type shower commode wheel chair. The wheel chair has slide rails below the wheel chair seat to help patient move to bed side. The slide rails and seat were modeled for the structural simulation. Experiments were performed to validate simulation results by using strain gage Rosettes. Student t-test was performed to the experimental data, which showed that the stresses obtained from the simulation were not significantly different from those obtained from the experiments. The slide rail structure was found to give a safety factor of 2.4 under 80Kg user weight with ten rollers used for seat support. The safety factor much increased by placing more rollers under the wheel chair seat. Our simulation revealed that rollers installed only in the central and corner regions were used as supports due to the bending deformation of the seat.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of converting the results obtained using different rutting performance tests. The correlation between the three simulation tests was analysed to determine the conversion coefficient factor. Two parameters (temperature and speed of simulation testing) were evaluated in this study. The results of this study have shown that the values obtained in the SALS test were lower than those obtained in the HWTT and UKWTT. The conversion of the SALS test results to the HWTT results yielded a good propensity value. The temperature is important parameter for determining the conversion coefficient factor.

        The purpose of this study is to determine the stiffness of rubber of dynamic damper. This damper system reduces the steering wheel vibration caused by idling oscillation of the engine. Therefore, in order to measure the stiffness of the silicone rubber in the dynamic damper system, the material test of the silicone rubber was carried out. Using the measured stiffness, the FEM model of the dynamic damper system was constructed and the correlation by the experimental data was shown at an error of less than 2%. In addition, the dynamic damper system was simplified to a two-degree-of-freedom spring-mass model and the effect of the stiffness change of the rubber on the natural frequency of the column shaft was analyzed theoretically. As a result, the amplitude of the column shaft was reduced as the stiffness of the silicone rubber was lowered.

        The objective of this study is to analysis the mechanical characteristics and nonlinear behaviors on the geometric nonlinear behavior of a cable spoke wheel roof system for long span lightweight roof structures. The weight of a cable spoke wheel roof dramatically can reduce and the cable roof system can easily make the required rigidity and shape by the sag ratio and pretension forces. Determining the pretension and initial sag of cable roof system is essential in a design process and the shape of roof is changed by pretension. The nonlinear behavior of flexible cable system has greatly an affect on the sag and pretension. This paper will be carried out analyzing and comparing the tensile forces and deflection of a cable spoke wheel system for the large span retractable roof, and analyzed to deflections and tensile forces by the post height of center hub. The double arrangement of a spoke wheel system with reverse curvature works more effectively as a load bearing system, the pretension can easily increase the structural stiffness. The cable truss system can carry vertical load in up and downward direction, and act effectively as load bearing elements.

        The vibration of wheel is mainly affected by a fault on a wheel contacting with railway when average speed is over 60km/h. When the wheel vibration caused by wheel scratch increase more than a certain criterion, the wheel is shaved to reduce the vibration. This criterion of shaving is determined from the acceleration signal measured from the sensor mounted on the railway. In this study, vibration characteristics of the rolling wheels having a fault is analyzed with experimental approach to verify the acceleration criterion for shaving wheel.

        In order to obtain the goal of the weight reduction of automobile components, the researches about lighter and stronger wheel carriers have been studied without sacrificing the safety of them. In this study, the weight reduction design process of wheel carrier could be proposed based on the variation of von-Mises stress contour by substituting an AA6061 (aluminum 6061 alloy) having tensile strength of 310 MPa grade instead of FCD600 Irons. From the stress analysis results before and after design modification, the stress relaxation was done at every given loading conditions. Therefore, it could be reached that this approach method could be well established and be contributed for light-weight design guide and the optimum design conditions of the automotive wheel carrier development.

        본 논문은 갠트리 크레인의 설계를 위해 컨테이너 하역작업 시 특정하중 조건하의 RTGC(Rubber Tired Gantry Crane)의 동적거동과 그에 따른 윤하중을 분석한 내용을 기술하고 있다. 먼저 RTGC의 동적거동을 살펴보기 위해 거대 구조물인 크레인의 유한요소 모델을 개발하고 고유진동수와 고유모드의 모달시험결과를 이용하여 유한요소모델을 검증하였다. RTGC의 기타 부속품은 3차원 CAD모델링을 통해 다물체 동역학해석 소프트웨어인 ADAMS에서 강체로 모델링하였다. 본 연구에서 하중 조건은 일반적인 컨테이너의 이송조건(OP1)과 외부부하조건 없이 단순히 트롤리를 이용하여 컨테이너를 하역하는 2가지 경우로 고려하였다. 해석 결과 RTGC의 컨테이너 작업 시 발생하는 크레인의 진동은 거대 구조물의 강성과 변형에 주로 기인함을 확인하였으며 이러한 크레인의 진동은 RTGC의 움직임을 발생시켜 컨테이너 하역작업 불능 등의 거동을 발생시킬 수 있음을 분석할 수 있었다.

        Within aging rotary painting system for plastic wheel cover, sprayed paint particles caused the quality problem as attached to back surface of the wheel cover by the cyclone vortex in the booth. The purpose of this study is to select the spray conditions to ensure a stable quality of the rotary painting system. For this, simulation for flow characteristics of each spray nozzle have been carried out using ANSYS program, and tested to find the optimum spray condition, such as spray distance, spray pressure and rotation speed by manufactured test apparatus of paint spray. Finally, satisfactory results were obtained by testing with a actual painting system in developed spray conditions.

        This study is making a product for the development of a process worm wheel of making a shape for gear for worm wheel without hobbing manufacturing process. Because of removing a hobbing process, plastic worm wheel for increased productivity and equivalent quality is produced in this molding, As the result, this important process is to manufacture a EPS worm wheel of small and middle stage cars and hybrid vehicle. Especially, the main goal of this study is as follows. The worm wheel design software of electronic power steeringis developed through this study. CAD file of this software is expressed as design notes and design shape of worm gear for manufacturing of worm wheel.
