The effects of the an immunosuppressive drug cyclos- porine A (CsA), on the salivary gland are largely unknown, even though clinical trials for the stimulation of salivation using CsA have been attempted. Cyclophilin A (CypA) is known to be a binding protein for CsA. CypA has cell proliferation and tissue matrix change activities. In our present study, the presence of CypA in the gland and effects of CsA on CypA expression were investigated by immu- nohistochemistry, immunoblotting and RT-PCR analyses. CypA was immunohistochemically detected in various kinds of ducts in the submandibular glands of Sprague Dawley rats. The CypA mRNA level was highest at postnatal day 1 and gradually decreased in a time-dependent manner up to adulthood. The expression of CypA increased after a 10 day subcutaneous administration of CsA in postnatal day 1 rats. Surgical sections of the chorda-lingual nerve with impaired salivation showed no changes in CypA expression. A cell proliferation assay using PCNA anti-serum showed inc- reased cell division following CsA treatment. These results suggest that CsA and CypA may act on ductal cells to regulate saliva composition rather than salivation levels.

본 연구의 목적은 여성 지체장애인을 대상으로 24주간 규칙적인 휠체어댄스 프로그램 참여가 혈중지질 및 심리적 웰빙에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명하여 여성 지체장애인의 생리적, 심 리적 효과에 대한 지표를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 A시에 거주하는 B장애인복지 센터 회원들 중 전혀 운동 경험이 없는 40세 이상의 여성 지체장애인 총 20명을 대상으로 실험 집단 10명(지체기능장애 8명, 관절장애 2명)과 통제집단 10명(지체기능장애 7명, 관절장애 3명)으 로 무작위로 할당되어 구성하였다. 측정된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 19.0 통계프로그램을 이용 하여 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 평균과 표준편차를 종속변인별로 구하였다. 두 집단 간의 평균 비교는 사전검사 측정값을 공변인으로 하여 사후검사 측정값을 서로 비교하는 공분산분석 (Analysis of Convariance)으로 분석하였으며, 통계적 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 연구결과, 첫 째, 휠체어댄스 프로그램 참여는 여성 지체장애인의 혈중지질의 총 콜레스테롤과 중성지방은 감 소시켰으며, 고밀도 지단백콜레스테롤은 증가시켰다. 둘째, 휠체어댄스 프로그램 참여는 여성 지체장애인의 심리적 웰빙의 즐거움, 유능감, 자아실현, 몰입감에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 24주간의 휠체어댄스 프로그램은 여성 지체장애인들의 신체활동의 감소와 장애로 인해 저하된 생리적 변화의 개선뿐만 아니라, 특히 심리적요인인 심리적 웰빙에 매우 긍정적인 결과를 가져 온다는 결론을 얻었다.

인터랙티브 미디어 아트는 상호작용을 통한 관객의 참여와 소통이 가장 중요시 되는 예술이라 할 수 있다. 종래의 예술작품을 관람하는 관객은 작가가 전달하는 메시지를 일 방향적으로 수용하는 입장이었다면, 인터랙티브 미디어 아트를 관람하는 관객의 입장은 작품과 상호작용하면서 작품을 완성하는 적극적 참여자이며 생산자적 입장으로 변화 되었다. 본 연구는 수용미학적 측면에서 인터랙티브 미디어 아트 전시장에 전시된 작품의 사례를 통하여 인터랙티브 미디어 아트 작품과 관객이 어떤 방식으로 상호작용하고 작품과의 교감이 이루어지는지 살펴보고, 전시 해석매체인 도슨트의 설명과 월텍스트를 활용하여 관람하였을 때 관객의 감성커뮤니케이션에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실험하였다. 도슨트는 작가의 의도와 작품에 대하여 스토리텔링 방식으로 설명하면서 관람자로 하여금 자연스럽게 작품에 집중하도록 유도하였다. 그 결과 작품과의 교감도를 높이는데 전시 해석매체의 역할이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타나, 향후 도슨트의 역할이 작품과의 상호작용을 통한 관객의 적극적 참여와 교감을 증진시키는데 중요한 요소임을 제시하고자 하였다.

Heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) is ATPase-directed molecular chaperon and affects survival of several cells. In our previous study, inhibitory effect of Hsp90 by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in the pig embryonic and primary cells was reported. However, its role during early bovine embryonic development is not sufficient. In this study, we traced the effects of Hsp90 inhibitor, 17-allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (17-AAG), on early bovine embryonic development. We also investigated several indicators of developmental potential, including structural integrity, gene expression (apoptosis-related genes), and apoptosis, which are affected by 17-AAG. Bovine embryos were cultured in the CR1-aa medium with or without 17-AAG for 7 days. In result, significant differences in developmental potential were detected between the embryos that were cultured with or without 17-AAG (33.1±9.6 vs 21.7± 8.3%). The structural integrity of the blastocysts was examined by differential staining. Blastocysts from the dbcAMP- treated group had higher numbers of ICM, TE, and total cells than those from the untreated group. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL) showed that the number of containing fragmented DNA at the blastocyst stage increased in the 17-AAG treated group compared with control (11.2 vs 3.9, respectively). Blastocysts that developed in the 17-AAG treated group had low structural integrity and high apoptotic nuclei than those of the untreated control, resulting in decrease the embryonic qualities of preimplantation bovine blastocysts. The m-RNA expression of the pro-apoptotic gene (Bax) increased in 17-AAG treated group, whereas expression of the antiapoptotic gene (Bcl-XL) decreased. In conclusion, Hsp90 also appears to play a direct role in bovine early embryo developmental competence including structural integrity of blastocysts. Also, these results indicate that Hsp90 is closely associated with apoptosis-related genes expression in developing bovine embryos.

지금까지 우리나라에는 자본주의를 지향하는 자생적인 내부적 動因이 없고, 일본의 강제적 점탈적 역사적 추이에 의해 자본주의로 진입했다고 보는 것은 (미시적 근시안적으로 접근하면) 일본에 의해 강제 개항되기에 이르렀고, 개항에 의해 우리나라가 근대화의 길을 걸었던 것은 현상적으로 나타난 역사적 사실이기 때문이다. 그러나 세계사적인 흐름의 큰 맥락에서 보았을 때, 서양에서 자본주의 체제를 맨 처음 도입한 이래 세계 각국은 先後의 차이는 있을지언정, 전반적인 추세가 점차 자본주의에로 진행해 가고 있었다. 일본은 이러한 시대적 변화에 능동적으로 재빨리 대응하였던 것에 비해, 우리나라는 늦게 대응한 결과일 뿐이라고 보는 것이 본인의 견해이다. 본 논문에서는 자본주의를 지향하는 내생적인 動因으로서, 서양에서의 봉건사회 붕괴과정에 나타난 사회 사상적 변화 과정을 살펴보고, 이러한 사회 사상적 변화가 자본주의 발달과 어떤 관계가 있는지 알아본 뒤에, 이에 관련하여 조선시대의 사회사상은 어떤 것이었는지 구체적으로 살펴보고, 이러한 사회사상이 어떤 경로를 통해 타파되어 가고 있는지 알아보고 자 한다. 다시 말해 조선시대에 주류를 이루었던 사회사상이 타파되어가는 가운데 자본주의를 수용할 수 있는 사상적 배경을 배태하고 있었는지 알아보고자 한다. 그리고 자본주의를 지향하는 세계사적인 큰 맥락에서 일본이 어떻게 여기에 대응하였는지 살펴보고 조선이 취했던 당시 상황을 정밀 분석함으로서 일본과 우리나라와의 관계를 재정리하고, 지금까지 우리나라의 자본주의 맹아문제를 부분적이고 지엽적인 일본과의 관계에서 탈피하여 자본주의를 지향하는 세계사적인 큰 맥락에서 우리나라의 자본주의 맹아문제를 살펴보고자 하였다.

마늘 신품종 '올캐'의 특성을 구명하고, 화경제거 유무 및 제거방법이 '올캐'마늘과 '남도'마늘의 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. '올캐'마늘은 추대기 및 수확기가 '남도'마늘보다 20일 정도 빨랐다. 지상부 생장은 '남도'마늘보다 떨어졌으나 뿌리 발달은 좋았다. 각 품종의 수확적기에 수확할 경우 구 중량은 '남도'마늘이 '올캐'마늘 보다 20% 정도 많았다. 40g 이상의 대구 비율도 '남도'마늘이 48%로 '올캐'마늘 25%에 비해 두배 정도 많았다. 인편수는 '올캐'마늘이 '남도'마늘 보다 1.9개 정도 많았다. 열구 발생률은 '올캐'마늘이, 저장중 부패율은 '남도'마늘이 높았다. 화경을 제거할 경우 무처리에 비해 잎마름 속도가 빠르고 그 정도도 심했으나 화경제거 방법간에는 차이가 없었다. 엽면적은 잎마름률과 같은 경향이었다. 수확 50일 후의 구중은 화경 제거구가 무제거구에 비해 '올캐'마늘은 11%, '남도'마늘은 13%정도 많았다. 40g 이상의 대구 분포비율은 화경제거구가 무처리구에 비해 '올캐'마늘은 약 27%, '남도'마늘은 약 44% 정도 많았다. 따라서 두 품종 모두 화경을 제거해 주는 것이 대구 생산에 유리하며 특히 '남도'마늘은 화경제거 효과가 컷다. 화경제거 방법간에는 통계적인 유의차가 없었다. 열구 발생률과 저장중 부패율은 화경제거 유무 및 제거방법에 따른 차이가 없었다.

본 연구는 기존 기술수용모형에서 제시한 인지된 유용성과 인지된 용이성뿐만 아니라 개인의 특성과 성향이 새로운 기술수용에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용할 것으로 예측하였다. 이에 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성과 함께 개인의 성격적 차원에서 외향적 성격, 내향적 성격, 개혁성향을 개인의 특성적 차원에서 자기효능감, 자아존중감을 IPTV나 디지털 전환 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 설정하여 설문조사 후 분석하였다. 분석결과 인지된 유용성, 내향적 성격, 자아존중감이 IPTV 수용 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, IPTV 수용태도는 IPTV 수용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 디지털 전환 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성, 외향적 성격, 내향적 성격 그리고 개혁성향으로 나타났다. 디지털 전환 수용태도 역시 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A cDNA of PBAN receptor (Plx-PBANR) isolated from female pheromone gland of the diamondback moth encodes 338 amino acids and has 7 transmembranes, belonging to G-protein coupled receptor family. The fact that Plx-PBANR expression was only found in female pheromone gland revealed that pheromone gland is the only molecular target of Plx-PBAN. Plx-PBANR expressing cells increased level of Ca2+ influx when challenged with PBANs. When RNAi fragment for PBANR was injected into pupae, suppression of PBANR expression was maintained for at least 2 days at post-emergence. Injection of RNA fragment for inhibition of Plx-PBANR expression also inhibited mating behavior and suppressed sex pheromone production, suggesting that some molecular target was affected by reduced Plx-PBANR expression. We cloned partial Δ9 and Δ11 desaturase gene and investigated expression level in Plx-PBANR-RNAi moth. It is of interest that desaturases expression was reduced by RNA fragment injection. These results suggest of PBANR expression affects the molecular biological events of PBAN and eventually suppresses mating behavior.

To accomplish the funcional expression of Plx-PBANR, Human uterus carcinoma was stably transfected with Plx-PBANR gene and Plx-PBANR expression was confirmed by RT-PCR analysis. Plx-PBANR expressing cells increased level of Ca2+ influx when challenged with Plx-PBAN and Hez-PBAN from Heliothis zea, as ionomycin as a positive control does. To inhibit Plx-PBNAR expression in vivo, RNAi fragment for Plx-PBANR was injected into pupae. Suppression of PBANR expression was confirmed by RT-PCR and also induced inhibition of mating behavior in adults, revealing that reproductive organ of the female has no spermatocyte and that there are no successful reproductive behaviors. RNAi-treated adults showed reduced pheromone production. These results suggests that inhibition of PBANR expression affects the molecular biological events of PBAN and eventually suppresses mating behavior.

This study investigated the developmental ability and gene expression of somatic cell nuclear transfer embryos using ear skin fibroblast cells derived from miniature pig. When miniature pig (m) and landrace pig (p) were used as donor cells, there were no differences in cleavage (79.2 vs. 78.2%) and blastocyst rates (27.4 vs. 29.7%). However, mNT blastocysts showed significantly higher apoptosis rate than that of pNT blastocysts (6.1 vs. 1.7%) (p<0.05). The number of nuclei in pNT blastosysts was significantly higher than that of mNT (35.8 vs. 29.3) (p<0.05). Blastocysts were analyzed using Realtime RT-PCR to determine the expression of Bax-, Bcl-xl, H19, IGF2, IGF2r and Xist. Bax- was higher in mNT blastocyst than pNT blastocyst (p<0.05). There was no difference in Bcl-xl between two NT groups. Bax-/Bcl-xl was, however, significantly higher in mNT blastocyst compared to pNT. The expression of imprinting genes were aberrant in blastocysts derived from NT compared to in vivo blastocysts. H19 and IGF2r were significantly lower in mNT blastocysts (p<0.05). The expression of IGF2 and Xist was similar in two NT groups. However, imprinting genes were expressed aberrantly in mNT compared to pNT blastocysts. The present results suggest that the NT between donor cells derived from miniature pig and recipient oocytes derived from crossbred pig might affect reprogramming of donor cell, resulting in high apoptosis and aberrant expression patterns of imprinting genes.

This study deals with the overall meta-cognitive aspects of ATC-Pilot miscommunications pertinent to cognitive human errors based on the previous literature research which it has been focused on the issue of the global aviation English use in regard with aircraft accident and incident. Especially, it addresses the concern over the ICAO aviation English language proficiency evaluation program which will be implemented globally in March, 2008. In addition, It presents the analysis related to the on-going English language proficiency level four test conducted for Korean civil airlines pilots and air traffic controllers.

영상매체에 등장하는 PPL광고가 실제 소비자인 시청자들에게 미치는 영향에 대하여 대학생들을 대상으로 조사하였다. PPL에 대한 인식의 차이를 조사하고 그 차이가 유행관여도과 어떤 관계가 있으며, 또 이것은 실제소비로 어떻게 이어지는지 조사하였다 대학생 189명을 대상으로 PPL인식도, TV나 영화에서 배우가 입은 의복 구매여부, 구매만족도, 유행관여도, PPL이 소비자의 의복 구매에 미치는 영향 등에 대해 조사하였다. 유행관여도를 기준으로 고저의 두 집단으로 나누어 이에 따라 분석한 결과, 유행에 민감하고 유행 관여가 높은 학생일수록 PPL광고에 등장하는 의복에 주목하고 있었으며 PPL광고에 사용된 브랜드 중에서 기억하는 브랜드 수가 많았다. 유행관여도 저집단은 의복구매시에 또래의 스타일, 주변의 충고 등을 많이 참고하는 반면에, 유행관여도 고집단은 패션잡지와 PPL의복을 많이 참고하고 있었다. 또 PPL 의복을 관심 있게 보는 학생이 실제로 스타 옷을 많이 구입하고 있었다 PPL로 인한 의복구매 영향력이 크다고 인식하고 있을수록 해당 브랜드, 기업, 제품의 선호도가 긍정적으로 변경되었다고 답하였다. 유행관여도가 클수록 기업의 선호도가 긍정적으로 변경되었다고 답하였다.

The relationship between source leaf position and photo-assimilate translocation and distribution was characterized for tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) grown in the greenhouse. Three different positions of source leaf on the stem (first node above or below the first fruit cluster and 5th node above the first fruit cluster) were tested for their influence on 14CO2 assimilation and transfer to different parts of the plant. The leaves at the 5th node above the first fruit cluster transferred the highest (57%) proportion of C14 to other plant parts, followed by leaves home on the first node below the first fruit cluster (50%), and the first node above the first fruit cluster (39%). In all treatments, fruits served as the strongest sink for C14, followed by stem, leaf, and root tissues. The leaf home on the 5th node above the first fruit cluster transferred the largest amount of C14 to the second fruit cluster.
