        This study was designed to get normative data of normal subjects by MFT(Manua1 Func-tion Test). The subjects were 95 normal adults. The results are as follows: 1. Mean scores of left and right MFS(Manua1 Function Score) were respectively 97.43 and 98.13. 2. MFS was higher on right upper extremity function than on left upper extremity function. 3. MFS was not significantly different between male and female. 4. Both left and right MFS (Manual Function Score) was significantly negative correlation with age.

        We assessed the function of the both hands and arms of the hemiplegic patients by MFT(Manua1 Function Test) and ADL score of the hemiplegic patients by FIM(Func- tional Independence Measure) and investigate its significance. The subjects of this study were 34 patients who had been hospitalized Rehabilitation Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine. The results are as follows ; 1. MFS(Manua1 Function Score) of both uninvolved upper limbs and involved upper lim- bs were significantly correlated with total FI M score. 2. The shoulder abduction, touch hand to the back , pegboard sub-items of MFT on the uninvolved upper limbs were significantly correlated with total FIM score. 3. The all sub-items of MFT on the involved upper limbs were significantly correlated with total FIM score. 4. The function of both uninvolved upper limbs and involved upper limbs by MFT were significantly correlated with self care, mobility, locomotion. According to the above results, MFT shows the functional status of the hemiplegic patients relatively well.

        일정 규모 이상의 사장교와 현수교에는 자유장, 주탑, 보강거더에 지진가속도계가 부착되어 있다. 이 연구에서는 부착된 센서를 활용하여 지진발생 시에 긴급하게 지진안전성을 평가하는 방법을 제안하였다. 표준화된 시스템으로 긴급한 평가가 이루어지므로 센서 단위의 평가가 효과적이며, 경주, 포항지진에 대한 특수교량의 데이터 분석을 통하여 평가 방안을 도출하였다. 자유장, 교각기초, 앵커리지와 같이 지반 또는 지반과 인접한 위치에 설치된 가속도계는 최대가속도로 평가를 수행하고 주탑상부, 보강거더 등 구조물에 부착된 가속도계는 가속도의 변환을 통한 변위비교로 평가를 수행하는 것을 제안하였다.

        「시설물의 안전 및 유지관리에 관한 특별법(이하 ‘시설물안전법’」에서는 제1종 및 제2종시설물에 대하여 안전점검 및 정밀안전진단을 통하여 시설물의 안전 및 유지관리를 실시하고 있으며, 종외 시설물의 노후화에 따른 안전관리 문제가 제기됨에 따라 제3종시설물을 지정하여 안전관리를 할 수 있도록 시설물안전법을 전부개정(’18.1.18.)하여 시설물 전반에 대한 안전관리를 하고 있다. ‘제3종시설물 안전등급 평가 매뉴얼(이하 ‘매뉴얼’)에서는 교량, 터널, 건축물 등 시설물에 대한 정기안전점검 기준 및 방법에 대하여 평가 등급기준을 3단계로 제시하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 매뉴얼의 3단계 평가체계에서 5단계 평가체계로의 전환을 위해 평가등급별 기준을 도출하였으며, 현장적용성 검토를 통해 평가지 표의 적정성을 확보하고자 한다.

        The purpose of underwater survey is to provide basic data for proper maintenance and reinforcement to detect waterborne defects as early as possible, to prolong the life of bridges and to ensure safety. This study suggests an underwater investigation item and method to be observed by the inspector in checking the substructure of the marine bridge. However, due to the limit that can not deal with the characteristics of the area where maritime bridges are installed in detail, it is considered desirable to use this point as a minimum safety and performance standard in underwater survey sites and management bodies.

        The ionosphere has been monitored by ionosondes for over five decades since the 1960s in Korea. An ionosonde typically produces an ionogram that displays radio echoes in the frequency-range plane. The trace of echoes in the plane can be read either manually or automatically to derive useful ionospheric parameters such as foF2 (peak frequency of the F2 layer) and hmF2 (peak height of the F2 layer). Monitoring of the ionosphere should be routinely performed in a given time cadence, and thus, automatic scaling of an ionogram is generally executed to obtain ionospheric parameters. However, an auto-scaling program can generate undesirable results that significantly misrepresent the ionosphere. In order to verify the degree of misrepresentation by an auto-scaling program, we performed manual scaling of all 35,136 ionograms measured at Jeju (33.43˚N, 126.30˚E) throughout 2012. We compared our manually scaled parameters (foF2 and hmF2) with auto-scaled parameters that were obtained via the ARTIST5002 program. We classified five cases in terms of the erroneous scaling performed by the program. The results of the comparison indicate that the average differences with respect to foF2 and hmF2 between the two methods approximately correspond to 0.03 MHz and 4.1 km, respectively with corresponding standard deviations of 0.12 MHz and 9.58 km. Overall, 36 % of the auto-scaled results differ from the manually scaled results by the first decimal number. Therefore, future studies should be aware of the quality of auto-scaled parameters obtained via ARTIST5002. Hence, the results of the study recommend the use of manually scaled parameters (if available) for any serious applications.

        When flood disaster strikes, it is important for quick and efficient response of management organizations. So it is necessary to develop a specific EAP. FEMA and DHS present a wide range of EAP from Mitigation to recovery of disaster response in the United States. However, Republic of korea and Japan present a relatively narrow range of the EAP shortly after the disaster. Therefore, this study suggests the EAP Framework that includes a wide range consisted of Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery phases that based on the results of analyzing the United States, Japan, Republic of korea EAP.
