The purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence consumers’ acceptance intentions towards Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Genetic Testing service. DTC genetic testing service can be considered in two aspects: the application of new technology in genetic testing customers can directly purchase and the services for receiving the test results customer can’t directly analyze. Existing technology-based acceptance models have difficulty fully explaining consumers’ acceptance intentions towards DTC genetic testing services. Therefore, this study aims to propose a new acceptance model considering these two characteristics. A survey was conducted with 377 potential consumers for this research. The analysis revealed that health interest, prior knowledge, subjective norms, innovativeness, perceived usefulness, and perceived value affect consumers’ acceptance intentions. The results obtained through this study can help establish strategies and marketing plans necessary for the diffusion of services, such as DTC genetic testing services, that combine a new technology and a service. In the long term, the accumulated DTC genetic testing results data can contribute to the development of national genetic information infrastructure and preventive medical applications, as well as improve individuals’ quality of life.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristic of quality attributes of smart hotels by using a SERVQUAL-IPA model, focusing on Chinese, which has the most proactive approach for the adoption of smart hotel system. Toward this goal, six quality factors—tangibles, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy, and playfulness—were extracted through factor analysis, and IPA was used to appraise the degree of importance and satisfaction for each quality attribute. As a result of the SERVQUAL-IPA model, quality attributes were categorized into four groups of 'keep up the good work,' 'possible overkill,' 'low priority,' and 'concentrate here.'. Furthermore, it was concluded that there is a need to focus on the following elements: ‘smart devices can assist customers in emergency situations’, ‘when the room control system identifies customer needs, the staff can provide prompt service’, ‘development and improvement of mobile applications that enable customers to control room amenities’, ‘regular maintenance for smart devices’, and ‘providing data-driven personalized recommendations through customer activity data analysis’.

This study is to identify the maintenance service quality of eco-friendly cars, which are rapidly increasing recently. Research is conducted by synthesizing research from the perspectives of internal employees and external customers by using the service profit chain model. Specifically, it is to study the overall structural relationship between internal customer satisfaction, physical quality, interaction quality, outcome quality, external customer satisfaction and long-term orientation. For the study, 202 questionnaires were collected from internal employees and 204 questionnaires from external customers. The results of testing the research hypotheses targeting the internal employee group are as follows. As a result of testing hypothesis 1, internal customer satisfaction has a significant positive (+) effect on physical quality and interaction quality. As a result of testing hypothesis 2, the service quality of eco-friendly car maintenance has a significant positive (+) effect on each other. As a result of testing hypothesis 3, physical quality and outcome quality have a significant positive (+) effect on external customer satisfaction. The results of testing the research hypotheses targeting an external customer group are as follows. As a result of testing hypothesis 2, in the relationship between eco-friendly car maintenance service quality, physical quality has a significant positive (+) effect on interaction quality, and interaction quality has a significant positive (+) effect on outcome quality. As a result of testing hypothesis 3, interaction quality and outcome quality have a significant positive (+) effect on external customer satisfaction. As a result of testing Hypothesis 4, external customer satisfaction has a significant positive (+) effect only on intention to reuse. Finally, as a result of examining the difference in perception between the internal employee group and the external customer group in eco-friendly car maintenance service quality and external customer satisfaction, it was verified that there was a significant difference only in outcome quality and external customer satisfaction.
생물다양성협약(CBD)에서는 전 지구적으로 발생하는 환경문제의 대응방안으로 육상의 17%를 보호지역으로 지정 하도록 할 것을 권고하고 있다. 우리나라도 국제적 수준에 맞춰 보호지역을 지정하고 보호지역 지정이 가지는 의미를 설명할 필요성이 생겼으며, 이에 따라 생태계서비스에 관한 연구의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 우리나라는 보호지역 지정을 자연공원법에 의해 위계별로 국립공원, 도립공원, 군립공원으로 지정하고 있다. 그러나 정치, 행정적 측면이 우선시되면서 생태계서비스 가치평가 연구 및 서식지 관리가 국립공원에 편중되어 도립 및 군립공원은 다소 미비하여 연구의 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 국립공원에 비해 서식지 관리 및 생태계서비스 가치평가 연구가 미비한 가지산도 립공원을 대상으로 InVEST 모델 중 InVEST Habitat Quality 모델을 사용하여 서식지 질을 평가하고, 분석 결과를 16개의 산악형 국립공원과 비교하였다. 분석 결과 가지산도립공원의 서식지질 값은 0.83이었으며, 주변 지역에 비해 서식질 질이 높게 나타났다. 3개 지구별 서식지질 차이를 분석한 결과 통도사지구와 내원사지구가 0.84, 석남사지구가 0.83으로 나타났고 용도지구별로는 자연보존지구, 자연환경지구, 문화유산지구, 공원마을지구 순으로 서식지질 값이 높게 나타났다. 기존 국립공원 서식지질 분석 결과와 비교한 결과 가지산도립공원은 무등산국립공원 수준의 자연성을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 추후 도립공원의 생물다양성 보전 및 생태계서비스 증진을 위한 정책 수립과 관리방안 수립의 객관적인 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
본 연구의 목적은 비데를 아이템으로 선정해 시니어의 특성과 니즈를 충족시키기 위한 제품기반 서비스디자인을 제안하는데 목표를 두고 진행하였다. 최근 초고령화가 급속히 진행되고 있으나 시니어에 대한 이해가 부족하고, 시 니어를 위한 PSS 개념의 서비스디자인 연구가 미흡한 편이다. 본 연구에서는 4D 더블 다이아몬드 디자인 프로세스 모델을 활용하여 시니어의 특성과 니즈를 반영한 ‘시니어 중심의 비데 제품서비스디자인’ 개선방안을 제안하고자 한다. 연구의 방법은 PSS 개념에 기반하여 ‘4단계 더블 다이아몬드 디자인 프로세스 모델’을 활용하였다. 이를 위해 시니어 대상 질적 리서치를 수행하여 시니어의 특성과 니즈에 따른 사용자 가치 요소를 도출하였으며, 이를 기반으 로 제품서비스 아이디어를 발굴하여 실무 전문가 그룹의 유용성 리뷰를 반영한 프로토타입을 제안하였다. 연구의결과는 첫째, ‘사용자 맞춤 기능 설정 가이드 스마트 앱 서비스’를 제안하였다. 사물인터넷(IoT) 기술을 접목한 비데 와 스마트 폰이 연동되어 사용자 특성 정보와 비데 제품에 대한 정보를 자동으로 해석하여 맞춤 기능을 가이드해주 는 앱 서비스를 제시하였다. 둘째, ‘사용자 중심의 제품서비스 인터페이스’를 적용한 조작부 및 리모컨 UI를 제안하 였다. 시니어의 사용성 및 인지능력을 고려하여 주 기능 중심의 구성과 과업(Task) 순서에 따른 버튼 배치, 터치 화면 형 리모컨 등 단순하고 직관적인 Physical UI를 제안하였다. 셋째, 정기적인 제품 점검뿐만 아니라 사용자 건강 및 사용 공간의 위생, 청결 등 폭넓은 서비스를 제공하는 ‘제품과 헬스/위생 케어가 연계된 비데 케어서비스’를 제안하 였다. 결론적으로 사용자(시니어)의 비데 제품 사용 과정(사용 전-중-후)에서의 페인포인트(Pain Point) 및 요구를 발 견하고 개선하여 사용자 경험과 관계 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 제품기반 서비스디자인 방법론을 제안하였다.
The environmental changes in the Korean cosmetic medical service industry in the 21st century are forming intense competition among medical institutions due to the quantitative expansion of its market. For stable growth of the cosmetic medical service industry, continuous quality improvement is necessary based on empirical research on the quality of cosmetic medical services rather than external expansion. The purpose of this study is to classify the quality attributes of cosmetic medical service using Kano model and to derive the degree of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of each quality attributes through Customer Satisfaction Coefficient (CSC). Through this, the study identified strategic priorities and suggested specific step-by-step approaches and quality improvement priorities that can increase customer satisfaction using the Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement Index (PCSI Index). Based on SERVPERF, this study used measurement tools consisting of five dimensions : tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. In addition, it was used of measurement items reconstructed into positive, negative, and satisfaction questions for Kano model analysis, CSC analysis, and PCSI Index analysis. A total of 300 medical consumers who experienced cosmetic medical services for the past one year in medical institutions such as plastic surgery and dermatology were collected with convenient sampling. As a result, urgent items for improving the quality of service using the PCSI Index, ‘Consideration for customer benefits’ in empathy category was followed by ‘Immediate help’ and ‘Sincere response’ in responsiveness category, and ‘Understanding customer needs’ in empathy category, respectively. That is, it is required to improve human service quality attributes such as empathy and responsiveness rather than physical service quality attributes. This study contributes practically in that it provides specific and discriminatory approaches to improve customer satisfaction on cosmetic medical service quality and suggests improvement priorities.
Research in the Servitization of Manufacturing has become focused more on cases than concepts over the past decade. This is because governments have emphasized some practical research with policies to support their industries. Manufacturers need differentiated strategies to gain competitiveness by servitization in the global market. They should examine how common servitization has become in the same industries and markets. They should also make sure how it works and for what purpose it is done since it is necessary to make the best decision to be able to distribute the limited resources most effectively to defeat the global competitors. South Korea has the sixth largest trade volume in the world, but Korean SMEs’ marketing capabilities fall short compared to that of major global companies. This paper seeks to develop the proper model and its application for the servitization with global cases which are recommended for Korean SMEs. They need to check the urgency in servitization according to their products, industries and target markets. In addition, factors such as purposes, time and types of the servitization are examined to see how they are related each other. The most significant implication of this study is that the processes for early-stage companies in servitazation are modeled to help them make the best choices.
The flow of the 4th Industrial Revolution calls for fundamental changes in the way of business pursued by manufacturing companies. In the service industry, various business models have been developed to include tangible products in services in order to secure differential competitive advantage in the market. Discussion of servitization and productization in academic research reflect the trends of these industries, and related researches are widely carried out in business administration, engineering, and design fields. In the meantime, customer value created by manufacturing companies and service companies has been proposed mainly about function, quality and utility of products or services. However, E3 Value (economic, ecological, experience), which is discussed from the viewpoint of product-service system (PSS), is newly recognized as an important factor in creating customer value. The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement model for the effects of product value, service value, and newly illuminated E3 Value on various business performance of a company. This study suggests a research model to extend the discussions on E3 Value, which was limited to concept studies and case studies, to empirical studies.
Recently, service quality must reflect several demands of customers who show rapid and various changes so as to be compared with the past. So, objective and rapid measuring methods for service quality are necessary. For them, first of all, service company must calculate their standard of service quality accurately by measuring service quality exactly. Kano classified the degree of influence that is the degree of correspondence of the quality attributes of products and services to the subjective satisfaction of customers. As a result, the types of qualities are classified as attractive, must be, one dimensional, and indifference attributes. They have been widely used quality attributes in various industrial fields up to now.
However, Kano model has a limit that it ignores the characters of the next frequent numbers even though there are not much gap comparing to the most frequent number in the questionnaire answers. The limit is attributed to the character of Kano model that the most frequent number is accepted as the only quality character.
Timko calculated the customer satisfaction coefficient by using Kano’s method and studied the differences in quality character by classifying the quality characteristics in a graphical way through the relationship between the satisfaction and the dissatisfaction coefficient.
In this study, we used the quality level determination method of the 7-point Likert scale, which takes the weight into account, to complement the deficiencies of the existing Kano model. We also developed and applied a Potential Satisfaction Level (P) and Potential Customer Demand Improvement (PCDI) Index to present a new approach to the determination of service quality attributes. To measure the level of potential service satisfaction and to understand the degree of improvement, we collected specimens of 51 participants who has been trained in the National Strategy Business Training Program, which has been managed by government agent, and analyzed the results.1)
Recently, service quality must reflect several demands of customers who show rapid and various changes so as to be compared with the past. So, objective and rapid methods for them are necessary more. For them, first of all, service company must calculate their standard of service quality accurately by measuring service quality exactly. To measure service quality accurately, this researcher collected and analyzed data by survey for customers who are customers of logistics services, grasped potential satisfaction standard(P) by 5 point Likert scale and one survey for accurate classification of quality attributes through weighted customer satisfaction coefficient changing quality attributes by developing the study on Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient, and suggested Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement index(PCSI) for examining the improvement of customer satisfaction so as to utilize them as an index of differentiated and concrete measurement of service quality.
본 연구는 최근 지속적으로 언급되고 있는 제4차 산업혁명 시대의 주요 기술 분야인 모바일 기술을 건설 분야와 융합하여 안전하고 스마트한 공사관리를 할 수 있는 서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 기술되어지는 모바일 기술은 최근에 개발된 기술은 아니지만, 단기(短基) 공사관리 분야에서는 구체화 되지 못하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 형태의 공사 중에서 교통과 안전사고에 영향을 주는 단기 공사 등에 대한 분류하고 특성을 분석하여 실제 도로현장에서 실효성 있게 적용할 수 있는 서비스 모델을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 일반국도 또는 지방도에 대한 신설 및 확포장 등 장기계속사업 공사를 대상으로 하는 것이 아니라 비교적 짧은 시간에 이루어지는 포장 및 시설물 긴급보수 공사나 교통안전시설물 청소 그리고 굴착 등이 수반되는 점용공사를 대상으로 한다. 즉 차량이 통행하고 있는 운영 도로를 대상으로 하며, 구체적인 공사 대상범위는 안전사고와 직결되는 포트홀 긴급보수공사, 그리고 교량, 터널 등 구조물 보수공사, 교통안전시설손괴에 따른 설치 및 보수공사, 사체수거, 그리고 점용공사 등과 같이 교통지체를 유발할 수 있는 공사가 대상이 된다. 상가에서 언급된 공사들의 특징은 공사시작과 종료에 대한 실시간 정보가 거의 제공되지 않으며, 보수공사 등이 수행되는 구간에 대한 정확한 위치정보가 수집이 되지 않아 운전자들에게는 돌발상활을 초래하고 있으며, 이에 따른 시공사 또는 유지보수담당자에게 인명피해가 지속적으로 발생하는 등 오래전부터 사회적인 이슈가 되어왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도로보수공사 또는 보수원 청소작업 등에 의한 돌발상황을 실시간으로 운전자에게 미리 인지하게 함으로써 안전사고를 예방하고, 공사의 시작과 종료에 대한 정보를 제공하여 교통지체에 대한 상황을 운전자에게 정확하게 제공할 수 있는 모바일 앱 기반의 공사관리 서비스 모델을 그림과 같이 개발하였다.
The development of an appropriate public service quality model has become increasingly recognised as an important subject of interest in the public sector as well as academia. In particular, the public systems enacted by governments are widely used and have a significant impact on national competitiveness. But few researches have been conducted to explore the quality dimensions of a public system service and empirically examine the relationship among related variables. Therefore, in this study, we strive to develop a quality measurement model of public system service that can be effectively used in practice. Using 601 samples gathered through a structured survey from project engineers, a conceptual quality model of public system is presented and discussed. Given the exploratory nature of this study, an exploratory factor analysis is used to investigate quality dimensions and partial least square (PLS) is employed in determining the structural relationships. From empirical results, we found that the quality dimensions of the public system had four distinct quality dimensions (design quality, environment quality, primary outcome quality, additive outcome quality). All four quality dimensions showed good representative factors in explaining user satisfaction. Perceived trust was proved to significantly mediate the relationship between quality dimensions and user satisfaction. Our research is expected to contribute to the literature by providing a good conceptual framework for assessing public system quality by linking four quality dimensions with user satisfaction. In particular, the developed model can elaborately measure process quality and multi-functional outcome quality of the system by the supplementation of design quality and additive outcome quality respectively. Practical implications are also suggested on the basis of our analysis.
기술이 발달하고 기업환경이 급변하면서 중소기업의 기술혁신활동에 있어 지식서비스를 효과적으로 활용하는 것에 대한 사회적 요구가 급증하고 있다. 현재 지식서비스 의 형태로 중소기업에 제공되고 있는 서비스의 경우 창업지원, 연구개발 기획, 연구개발 수행, 기타 지원서비스에 이르기까지 중소기업 현장에서 일어나고 있는 기업 활동의 다양한 활동을 광범위하게 포함하고 있다. 이러한 지식서비스의 제공 현황과 범위는 지식서비스를 지원하는 기관의 특성에 따라 다소 차이를 보이고 있으나 대부분 핵심 서비스의 제공 측면에서는 유사한 성향을 보이며, 이는 각 지원기관의 특성에 따른 차별화가 부족하다는 것을 시사 하고 있다. 그러나 지식서비스 제공 기관이 기관 특성 및 역량에 맞는 효과적 서비스를 제공 하기 위해서는 핵심 지식서비스를 발굴하고 이를 중점적으로 제공하는 것이 필수적으로 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 중소기업 정책 및 지원사업을 제공하고 있는 KISTI 중소기업지식본부를 대상으로, 중소기업에 제공되어야 할 가장 적합한 지식서비스를 탐색하고, 핵심 지식서비스를 도출하며, 도출된 핵심 지식서비스에 대한 구체적인 서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다.
최근 치열해지는 시장경쟁과 함께 가속화⋅다양화되는 기술혁신의 환경 변화 로 인해 기업들은 기존의 제품혁신이나 한정된 서비스의 제공만으로는 고객들의 요구와 기 대를 충족시킬 수 없게 되었으며, 비즈니스모델(BM) 혁신을 통해 그 해법을 찾고자 하고 있 다. 본 연구에서는 BM혁신과 관련된 이론적 논의를 검토하여 연구개발서비스업 내 BM혁신 의 필요성과 성공 요건에 관한 명제들을 도출하고, 자동차 R&D서비스업에서 선도적 글로벌 기업인 AVL과 ETAS의 BM혁신에 대한 사례를 연구함으로써 명제들을 검증하고 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 특히, BM이 혁신을 통한 가치 창출의 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 점을 감안하여, 본 연구는 연구개발서비스업 분야에서 기술적 역량을 갖춘 기업이 BM혁신을 통해 어떻게 성과를 도출할 수 있는가에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면, 사례기 업들은 고객을 위한 가치 제안과 기업의 이윤 창출을 극대화하기 위해 제품(기술)-서비스 융 합에 기반한 BM을 수립하고 자사에 적합한 보완적 자산을 차별적으로 활용함으로써 BM혁 신을 효과적으로 수행하였다. 본 연구는 국내 기술혁신경영분야에서 BM혁신에 대한 논의를 활성화하며, 국내 연구개발서비스업과 연구개발전문기업들이 향후에 혁신적 BM에 기반해 효과적으로 발전하기 위한 시사점을 제공하는데 기여하고자 한다.
The purpose of this study was to use the Kano model to compare and analyze the educational service quality attributes of domestic and foreign culinary arts schools. For this purpose, a questionnaire-based survey was completed by 312 students who were studying in domestic and foreign culinary schools. The results of the study indicated that 23 of the total 25 attributes were significantly different between domestic and foreign culinary arts school.; the “minium 4 hour-kitchen class" and “mandatory internship program” were classified into “indifferent quality” for domestic schools and a “must-be quality” for foreign schools; “well-organized internship guidebook”, “kitchen class limited to 20 students”, “introducing the latest food or restaurant trends”, “library with the latest publications related to major”, “objective instructor's evaluation”, “detailed instructor's evaluation”, “instructor's field experience”, and “decent communication skills on the part of the instructor” attributes were classified into “attractive quality” for domestic schools and “must-be quality” for foreign schools; and “kitchen classes operated by block system”, and “foreign instructors for each ethnic cuisine” attributes were classified into “indifferent” and “attractive quality” for both domestic and foreign schools, respectively. Also, according to the Better and Worse quotient designed by Timko, there were more attributes for domestic school than for foreign school that scored over 0.5 in the Better category and fewer attributes for domestic than the foreign scored over 0.5 in the Worse category. The results also indicate that, students in foreign schools receive an educational service of better quality than students in a domestic school. As a result, this research suggests significant implications to develop culinary educational services.
Popular 3D printers as a new industrial revolution attract public attention. 3D printing will radically convergence many of the business models that companies take for granted today. And recently they were trying to convergence with the game industry. In this respect, this study is designed to figure out the current situations of board game and to suggest its convergence service model. To achieve this, this paper is to analyse board game cases of domestic and foreign relate to 3D printing. Finally, we suggest new service model to make on-off line contents of board game industry using 3D printing.
Because the difference between products and services are getting less and less, service and manufacturing companies’ efforts are increasingly focused on utilizing services to satisfy customers’ needs under today’s competitive market environment. The value of services depends on service reliability that is identified by satisfaction derived from the relationship between customer needs and service providers. In this paper, we extend concepts from the fault tree analysis for reliability analysis of tangible systems to services. We use an event-based process model to facilitate service design and represent the relationships between functions and failures in a service. The objective of this research is to propose a method for evaluating service reliability based on service processes using service blueprint and FTA. We can identify the failure mode of service in a service delivery process with a service blueprint. The fuzzy membership function is used to characterize the probability of failure based on linguistic terms. FTA is employed to estimate the reliability of service delivery processes with risk factors that are represented as potential failure causes. To demonstrate implementation of the proposed method, we use a case study involving a typical automotive service operation.
