본 연구는 곰취 신품종 ‘쌈마니’ 의 고랭지와 평난지 수확기 및 가공 상태에 따른 항산화 활성 차이를 구명하고자 수행 하였다. 4월 18일부터 7월 15일까지 수확하여 생것과 데친 것을 냉동 건조한 후 메탄올에 추출하여 총 페놀 함량, 총 플라보노이드 함량, DPPH free radical 소거능과 환원력을 분석하였다. 재배지역 및 수확기별 총 페놀함량, 총 플라보노이드 함량, DPPH free radical 소거능과 환원력은 평난지에서는 4월 18일 조기 수확보다는 5월 수확이 더 효과적이었으며, 고랭지에서는 5월보다는 6월에 더 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 재배지역, 수확기 및 가공상태별 총 페놀 함량, 총 플라보노이드 함량, DPPH free radical 소거능과 환원력은 평난지에서는 4월 조기 수확보다는 5월부터 더 효과적이었으며, 고랭지에서는 6월부터 항산화 활성이 높게 나타났다. 생체와 데친 것을 비교하였을 때, 생체가 모든 항목에서 더 높은 항산화 활성을 나타내었다. 또한 평난지 재배보다 고랭지 재배가 더 높은 항산화 활성을 나타냈다. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ‘쌈마니’ 품종은 평난지에서는 5월, 고랭지에서는 6월에 수확하여 생으로 먹는 것이 데쳐서 먹는 것보다 항산화 활성이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Background : The major active components of ginseng are ginsenosides and their pharmacological effects include anticanser, anti-stress, anti-fatigue, antioxidant and aging inhibitory effects. These ginsenosides components is higher in leaves than roots. Therefore, consumers are increasingly interested in using ginseng sprouts.
Methods and Results : Ginseng sprouts were cultivated during 60 days from June to late July in greenhouse. After 60 days of cultivation, the stem was hardened, and the cultivation was done until 60th because of the tendency that the value of ginseng sprouts was lowered. The content of the three indicator components were analysed by high performance liquid chromatography. Total ginsenoside content increased 1.07 times in leaves and decreased 0.67 times in roots according to cultivated period. The contents of ginsenoside Rg1, Re, Rb1, Rc F3 and F4 of leaves were increased and ginsenoside Rg1, Re, Rb1, Rb2 and Rf of roots were decreased on cultivated 60 days, especially. Total free sugar content increased 1.29 times in leaves and decreased 0.68 times in roots according to cultivated period. The total phenolic acid contents of leaves decreased slightly until 40 days and then increased. The major components of ginsenoside, free sugar and phenolic acid in leaves were Re, sucrose and sinapic acid, respectively.
Conclusion : From the above results, ginseng sprouts cultivated for 60 days is more effective ingredient than roots, so it can be said that it is good for consumers to use.
This study was carried out to investigate the optimum cultivation distance for high yielding cultivation of the new variety of Gomchwi in highland and lowland. The test material was used ‘Sammany’ variety and the area was cultivated with a highland of 750 m above sea level and a lowland of 20 m above sea level. The planting distance was 5 treatments of 20 x 20 ㎝, 20 x 30 ㎝, 30 x 30 ㎝, 35 x 40 ㎝ and 40 x 40 ㎝, and the plant was cultivated at 35% shading net in the open field. The annual growth of ‘Sammany’ variety was higher in the highland than in the lowland, but the number of leaves was higher in the lowland than that in the highland. The leaf number per plant was the highest in the 40 x 40 ㎝ plot and the more the planting distance was, the more tendency was. However, the leaf weight per plant was higher in the highland than in the lowland. The number of leaves per 10a were higher in the lowland than that of highland and the tendency was more as the planting distance was narrower. Yields were slightly higher in the highland than that of lowland and the highest treatment plot was 2,983 ㎏/10a in 20 x 20 ㎝. In the second year, the growth was high in the highland, and the highland was high in the leaf number and leaf weight and the same tendency in the yields. Among the planting distances, Yields in both areas were the highest in the 20 x 20 ㎝ treatment, with 3,369 ㎏/10a in lowland and 7,257 ㎏/10a in highland. The growth of the third year was slightly better in the highland than that of the lowland but the difference was not significant. However, the number of leaves and leaf weight per plant were higher in the lowland than that of highland. And, in terms of leaf number and yield per 10a, it was also higher in the lowland than that in the highland. The narrower the planting distance was increased yields, and the highest yield was 6,051 kg/10a in 20 x 20㎝. The lowland was high in yield until the third year, but the highland was the highest in the second year and decreased slightly in the third year. The narrower the planting distance in the both areas, the higher the yield, and the leaf size tended to be small.
This study was carried out to produce more Parasenecio firmus in forest farming. In order to achieve thispurpose, it was surveyed the growth and photosynthetic characteristics of P. firmus. Relatively light intensity was controlledby 100%, 60%, 30% and 5% of full sunlight. Height was the highest under 5% of full sunlight. Shoot diameter was the high-est in full sunlight. Fresh weight (leaf, stem, root and total) and dry weight (leaf, root and total) were the highest under 30%of full sunlight. S (leaf+stem)/R (root) ratio was the lowest under 30% of full sunlight and the highest under 5% of full sun-light. In leaf characteristics, leaf area, SLA and LAR were getting higher in the lower light level and the highest under 5% offull sunlight (176.1㎠, 420.5㎠•g−1 and 123.5㎠•g−1). Especially, leaf area was surveyed higher under 30% of full sunlightin the next. Leaf thickness was getting lower in the lower light level and the lowest under 5% of full sunlight (overall0.14~0.24㎜). As a result of surveying the whole experiment, P. firmus grows well under 30% and 5% of full sunlight inforest farming.
The purpose of the study was to provide baseline information that could encourage consumers and establish thedirection of development for sprouts and leafy vegetables. A survey on the consumption and preference for sproutsand leafy vegetables of 823 people over 20 years of age in Seoul and Gyeonggi province was conducted. The preference for sprouts was higher in men (3.75±0.96) than in women (3.64±0.84), whereas the preference for leafy vegetables was higher in women (4.06±0.74) than in men (3.88±0.90). Based on age, the respondents in their 40s or above had high preferences for sprouts and leaf vegetables due to the importance that they accorded to health and nutrition (p<0.01). The sprouts and leafy vegetables were purchased mainly for their high nutritional value. The purchase frequency of once a month or more for leafy vegetables (82.7%) was higher than that for sprouts (57.1%). The consumers purchased sprouts and leafy vegetables mainly from a large discount store. The respondents in their 20s showed the highest percentage of purchasing from a local store whereas the older ones showed a high preference for traditional markets. The reason for the choice of the place of purchase was convenience. The freshness and price were important factors in the consumption of sprouts and leafy vegetables. In the case of leafy vegetables, the consumers preferred to buy them using the conventional weight measurement system rather than in small packages. On the other hand, mixed small packages were preferred for sprouts. The purchase frequency was correlated with the preferences, need for improvement and purchase intent for sprouts and leafy vegetables. The aspects that require improvement for producing high-quality sprouts and leafy vegetables were the nutritional and functional properties. To increase the consumption of sprouts and leafy vegetables, there is need for variations and improvement of the quality and safety of the products.
This study was carried out to establish a proper cultivation site and diagnose the drought tolerance of Pleurospermum camtschaticum, Cirsium setidens and Parasenecio firmus leaves by using pressure-volume curves. The result of ψosat and ψotlp were lower in Pleurospermum camtschaticum leaves. On the other hand, it appeared that Emax of Pleurospermum camtschaticum was approximately six times higher than that of Parasenecio firmus. The values of RWCtlp is all above 88% showing that the function of osmoregulation is somewhat better, and Vo/DW, Vt/DW, Ns/DW of Pleurospermum camtschaticum leaves were approximately 2~4 times Lower than other ones. Thus, responses to water relations of Pleurospermum camtschaticum, Cirsium setidens and Parasenecio firmus such as ψosat, ψotlp, Emax, ψP,max, RWCtlp were shown that the Pleurospermum camtschaticum leave was higher drought tolerance than Cirsium setidens and Parasenecio firmus leaves.
본 연구는 쌈채소로 각광받고 있지만 산림에서는 희귀한 식물이며 번식이 까다로운 병풍쌈(Cacalia firma)을 기내 번식을 통한 식물체 번식을 위하여 진행되었다. 병풍쌈의 기내 종자발아를 위해서는 종자의 절단 및 GA3처리가 효과적이었다. 종자유래 유식물체의 자엽, 잎, 엽병 및 뿌리절편을 BA가 첨가되 배지에 배양한 결과 엽병 절편당 2.76개로 가장 양호하였다. 부정아 유래 식물체의 엽병 절편을 다양한 종류의 cytokinin(2-iP, kinetin, zeatin, TDZ, 및 BA)를 각각 2 mg·L-1씩 단독 첨가한 배지와, 오옥신으로 NAA 0.5 mg·L-1을 혼합 첨가한 배지에 접종하였다. 그 결과 TDZ와 BA에서 높은 부정아 유도율을 나타냈고, kinetin에선 낮은 부정아 유도율을 보였으며, 2-iP와 zeatin에서는 부정아가 형성되지 않았다. NAA를 혼합한 배지는 단독 처리 배지보다 높은 유도율을 나타냈지만 배양절편당 부정아의 수는 오히려 줄어들었다. 대부분의 부정아는 cytokinin 단독 처리시 배양절편으로부터 직접부정아가 발생되었으며, cytokinin과 NAA 혼합된 배지에서는 일부 캘러스화된 부분에서 부정아가 발생되었다. 이들 부정아는 IBA가 첨가된 배지에 옮겨준 경우 뿌리가 발생되어 식물체로 재생되었다. 재생된 식물체는 토양에 성공적으로 순화되었다.
This study was carried out to investigate the ecological characteristic of native Parasenecio firmus population in Korea and China. The survey quadrates were located in the middle of the native P. firmus habitats. According to the field survey, the habitats of P. firmus were classified into same Tilia amurensis community in tree layer. The investigation of native habitat in Korea shows that P. firmus inhabited deciduous forest from with T. amurensis, Acer pictum subsp. mono, Carpinus cordata and Acer pseudosieboldianum, which was similar to vegetation structure of Mt. Laoling in China. The result of the cluster analysis which uses SYN-TAX 2000 program, dissimilarity from 53% level was on a large scale divided at 2 units. The research revealed 96 taxa in total, in which 51 families, 81 genera, 21 varieties, 5 forma, 1 sub-species and 67 species were checked in the flora of the native P. firmus habitats.
