적외선 유도 무기 체계의 발달로 항공기의 생존성은 지속적으로 위협받고 있으며, 항공기의 생존성을 향상시키기 위한 적외선 스텔스 기술 관련 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 적외선 유도 미사일이 항공기와 배경 간의 대비 신호를 탐지하는 것에 주목하여 비행 조건에 따른 항공기의 최적 적외선 신호를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 항공기의 비행 조건을 고려하여 유동 해석과 대류, 전도, 복사 3차원 열전달 해석을 수행하였고, 동체 표면 온도를 도출하여 항공기 주변 유동 특성을 기반으로 항공기의 적외선 신호를 분석하였다. 더 나아가, 비행 조건 별로 최적 적외선 신호를 갖기 위한 최적 방사율을 도출하였고, 비행 조건 별로 최적 방사율을 동체 표면에 적용했을 때 적외선 신호 저감 효과를 분석하였다.

On account of the increase in water demand and climate change, droughts are in great concern for water resources planning and management. In this study, rainfall characteristics with stationary and non-stationary perspectives were analyzed using Weibull distribution model with 40-year records of annual minimum rainfall depth collected in major cities of Korea. As a result, the non-stationary minimum probable rainfall was expected to decrease, compared with the stationary probable rainfall. The reliability of ξ1, a variable reflecting the decrease of the minimum rainfall depth due to climate change, in Wonju, Daegu, and Busan was over 90%, indicating the probability that the minimal rainfall depths in those city decrease is high.

It is argued in this article that the crucial aspects of syntactic change in the history of English are derived from the fact assumption that the LCA is applied to lexical items individually in the [CP-VP] clause structure of Old English, yielding various patterns of AUX, V and O placement. In the meantime the LCA is applied directly to the clause structure [CP-TP-vP-VP] of Modern English, thus deriving the fixed word order. With the assumption that Old English AUX and V are base-generated in the same position of VP under the [CP-VP] structure, one of both should move out of VP in order to asymmetically c-command each other due to the LCA requirements, deriving AUX-V order or V-AUX order in the surface subordinate clauses of Old English. After the introduction of TP and vP in Middle English, however, it is argued that AUX and V are base-generated in TP and vP respectively, showing the structure where TP asymmetically c-commands vP. Thus the word order change in the history of English is shown to be derived from the LCA availability.

Quality changes in fresh-cut potatoes during storage at after treatment with low-temperature blanching and antibrowning agents were studied. Fresh-cut potatoes were treated by dipping for 1.5 min in a browning inhibitor solution containing 0.5% (w/v) ascorbic acid, 0.5% (w/v) citric acid, 0.5% (w/v) sodium chloride, 0.1% (w/v) trehalose, and 0.005% (w/v) biotin, at , with subsequent cooling for 1.5 min and storage at . The browning properties of fresh-cut potatoes were examined by measurement of polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity and total phenolic content. Changes in quality attributes over a 14-day period were assessed in terms of titratable acidity, pH, water-soluble solid level, and gas analysis at . During storage, PPO activity increased, with the lowest activity seen after about 7 days of storage. Treatment with antibrowning solution at increased visual sensory attributes during storage. Low-temperature blanching in distilled water more effectively inhibited browning compared with exposure to browning inhibitor solution, as assessed after 7 days of storage. Fresh-cut potatoes respired aerobically after different treatments during storage at .

The size of minimum order stream has a very sensitive effect on runoff analysis model using the divergence characteristic of stream. Therefore, in this study, the threshold area of minimum order stream has been examined the change characteristic of topographical parameters. The subject basin of the research was the upper basin of the Kumho water gage station which is located in the middle of the Kumho river. The 1:25,000 numerical geography which was constructed 10×10m mesh was used. The range of investigation of topographical parameters are number of stream order, length, area, slope, basin relief, sinuosity ratio, drainage density and total stream length etc. It was found from the result of analysis that the threshold value of minimum order stream has a very big effect on topographical parameters of basin. It was found that the threshold area of minimum order stream revealed under 0.10km2. Furthermore, the parameters showed a serious change except for over 0.10km2.

Minimally processed lotus root was stored at 4 followed by dipping in distilled water, 3% ascorbic acid, 1% citric acid, 1% acetic acid, 1% EDTA, 2% lactic acid and 3% malic acid. The weight loss, color, soluble solids, pH, vitamin C and sensory characteristic were measured during storage period. The rate of weight loss decreased in the minimally processed lotus root. ΔL was changed slightly after 1 week storage and 1% acetic acid and 1% EDTA especially retarded a little retardation in browning during storage. Soluble solids was changed slightly, but decreased after 2 week storage in lotus root treated with 2% lactic acid and 3% malic acid. pH increased but vitamin C decreased during storage. The organoleptic quality of lotus root treated 1% EDTA showed the best by sensory evaluation.
