        The effect of inclination angle and attack angle on heat transfer enhancement of trapezoidal vortex generator was numerically investigated. The commercial package STAR-CCM+ was utilized to analyze the heat transfer and flow characteristics with various inclination and attack angle of vortex generator. The result shows that the optimum inclination angles are α =30°~40° in terms of the heat transfer and pressure drop. At more than 40° of inclination angle, the transverse vortex is dominant, so that the pressure drop is severe and the heat transfer is reduced. As the attack angle is increased, the transverse vortex is reduced, so that the pressure drop is improved. The optimum attack angle is β =30° because the heat transfer performance is maintained. However, more than 30° of attack angle, the heat transfer is decreasing.

        본 연구는 차량 충돌 및 방호울타리 구조의 불확실성을 고려하여 탑승자의 보호성능과의 상호관계 분석을 수행하였다. 라틴 하이퍼큐브 샘플링 기법을 기반으로 실제 충돌 상황을 고려할 수 있는 확률적 변수를 결정하였다. 매개변수 예제는 탑승자 보호 성능과 확률적 매개변수와의 상관관계의 중요성을 나타내었다. 본 연구 결과는 차량충돌로 인한 탑승자 보호를 고려 한 방호울타리의 설계에 대한 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        본 연구에서는 KS 강종 규격 YS245(SS400)에서 YS275(SS275)로 개정됨에 따라 고속구간에 설치하는 SB3-B등급에 대하여 탑승자보호성능 평가 및 강도성능 평가를 위한 충돌시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션은 소형차에 대하여 탑승자 보호성능평가항목인 탑승자 충격속도 및 탑승자 가속도를 평가하고, 대형차에 대해서 강도성능을 비교 분석하기 위하여 비선형 유한요소 동적 해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석 예제로부터 YS275 강종은 기존강재에 비하여 전반적으로 우수한 충돌 성능을 보였으며, 특히 PHD의 개선효과가 상대적으로 더욱 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 적용한 솔리드 지반-구조물 상호작용 모델은 지진해석으로 적용할 수 있다.

        This study dealt with truck crash performance evaluation of new guardrails made of PosMac steels considering the ground bearing capacity effect. Subsequent crash simulation results for SB2 and SB4 grades present that the developed model performs much better in containing and redirecting the impacting vehicle in a stable manner. In this paper, the existing finite element crash analysis of guardrails using the LS-DYNA program is further extended to study the nonlinear dynamic response of the guardrail structures with new type poles supported by external stiffeners. The numerical results for various parameters are verified by comparing different grades with displacements occurred in the barrier from the crash simulation.

        Recently damage of structures and loss of life by terrorism are internationally increasing. Among these terror that have a possibility to can happen in korea and that can caused lot of human life loss is the vehicle terror. To prevent the vehicle terror, the anti-ram barriers are needed. But domestic standard about anti-ram barriers are not clear. So, in this study, we will utilize and analyze the vehicle impact to evaluate the efficiency of the domestic bollard and suggest the installation standard of those. In Korea, granite, elastic, steel and stainless bollard are used. The performance of those bollard is not available. Elastic bollard couldn’t stop the vehicle, and the others just could stop the vehicle only at the speed under 10kph. Therefore, set the variable to reinforce, and evaluate the defence efficiency of bollard. As a result, granite and elastic bollard was not suitable for the anti-ram barriers. Performance of steel bollard increased as thickness grew. So steel bollard should must be thicker than 10T. And the concrete compressive strength effected insignificantly on the defence efficiency, so more than 24MPa compressive concrete be used. Performance of stainless bollard increased as thickness grew. So stainless bollard should must be thicker than 13T.

        이 논문에서는 벽체의 형상(평면벽체, 곡면벽체) 및 벽체에 도입된 긴장력이 충돌저항성능에 미치는 영향을 수치해석적 기법을 사용하여 평가하고자 하였다. 벽체의 곡률 및 긴장력 도입률을 변수로 총 12 케이스의 충돌해석을 수행하였으며, 충돌체로는 상용 민항기엔진의 3차원 상세모델을 사용하였다. 충돌저항성능을 평가하기 위해 관입깊이와 벽체 중앙부 후면의 최대 변위를 비교하였다. 긴장력의 도입에 의해 관입깊이는 약 60∼80% 수준으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났으나, 후면 변위는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았으며, 벽체 형상에 따른 차이는 상대적으로 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

        25% offset high speed frontal impact is the vehicle will crash left 25%(Quarter of the width of the vehicle). 47.6% of drivers killed in vehicle alone and car to car frontal impact occurred in frontal impact small overlap. Study on the occupant protection performance of 25% offset(small overlap) high speed frontal impact results are as follows. In terms of vehicle occupant protection performance, body structure was excessive intrusion into the passenger room and showed such improvement is needed for the design. This is due to a collision risk with the passenger and the solid body increases the risk of injury, showed that improvement is needed. To strengthen the safety of the future, propose improvements on the evaluation results of a statistical analysis and test of the industry and the policy makers.

        본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 강재-FRP 합성 교량용 방호울타리의 성능을 분석하였다. FRP는 Surface veil, DB 그리고 Roving 섬유로 구성하였다. FRP의 적층을 고려하기 위해 LS-DYNA에서 제공하는 재료모델 MAT58을 사용하였다. 강관과 FRP의 접촉조건을 고려하기 위해 Spot weld 옵션을 사용하였다. 실차충돌 실무 업무편람에 따 라 구조적 강도성능, 탑승자 보호성능 및 충돌 후 차량의 거동에 대한 성능평가를 실시하였다. 강재-FRP 합성 방호 울타리는 성능평가를 만족하였다.

        According to a statistics, in recent three years number of traffic accident and casualty remain stand still while casualty by car to car side crash has been increased. This phenomenon is attributed to the two main factors. One is vehicle structure and the other is vehicle safety regulation which does not appropriately reflect current market situation. The distance from vehicle side door to occupant is kind of short compare to vehicle front to occupant, so the likelihood of occupant injury or death at side crash accident is higher than any other types of accident. Even Korean government runs to evaluate and improve vehicle side impact crashworthiness, this program does not reflect current vehicle fleet cause it is based on vehicle fleet of more than 20 years ago. In this paper, three sets of car to car side impact test have done to evaluate occupant injury probability and aggressivity of SUV to passenger vehicle, and based on this result the way to reduce injury and fatality likelihood at side crash is recommended.

        본 논문에서는 3D 그래픽에서 빠르고 정확한 충돌검사(Collision-detection)는 공간에서 표준객체를 중심으로 하는 연구가 많이 이루어져 왔다. H/W를 중심으로 3D그래픽 분야의 놀라운 발달과 다양한 충돌 알고리즘 연구를 통하여 3D 객체의 충돌 속도의 향상뿐만 아니라, 최근에는 사실적인 표현에 깊은 관심을 가지고 있다. 이 논문에서는 기존의 연구되어진 표준 3D 객체의 충돌 알고리즘을 특징을 분석하고, 단순한 계층 구조에서 LOD(Level-of-Detail)를 적용한 유향상자에 가변적 밀도의 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘을 이용하여 공간상에서 LOD 알고리즘을 기반으로 하여, 단순히 거리에 따라서 상세화와 간략화를 적용하는 방법에서 탈피하여 유향상자의 밀도의 알고리즘을 차별적으로 적용하여, 3D객체가 공간상에서 충돌검사의 성능을 향상 시켜, 3D 게임에서 효율적인 렌더링과 사실적인 표현을 제안하여 많은 3D 객체의 실시간을 중요시 하는 3D 게임에서 효율성을 높인다.

        The second impact from the edge of cargo was found to be an crucial event causing large volume loss of concrete median barrier. Therefore, in order to improve local impact resistance of concrete median barrier during second impact, local model was developed and evaluations were conducted. Developed concrete median barrier showed the 125 kJ impact level based on conducted analysis.

        In this study, we performed a series of experimental studies on the effect of tie-bars and steel-plate strength on the impact resistance of SC walls. A total of 8 impact tests were planned to investigate the impact resistance performance of SC walls at the extreme performance testing center of Seoul National University in Korea. The specimens were designed with the main test parameters of yield strength of steel plate and tie-bars. The results from this study will be used to improve and optimize the AISC N690 design equation for SC walls.

        To assess the protection performance and the applicability as protective materials of high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites(HPFRCC), this study performed the impact tests with 40 mm gas-gun propelled projectile crash machine. From this study, it has observed that both high compressive strength of cement matrix and fiber reinforcement are beneficial for the improvement of impact resistance.
