        Dynamic responses of nuclear power plant structure subjected to earthquake loads should be carefully investigated for safety. Because nuclear power plant structure are usually constructed by material of reinforced concrete, the aging deterioration of R.C. have no small effect on structural behavior of nuclear power plant structure. Therefore, aging deterioration of R.C. nuclear power plant structure should be considered for exact prediction of seismic responses of the structure. In this study, a machine learning model for seismic response prediction of nuclear power plant structure was developed by considering aging deterioration. The OPR-1000 was selected as an example structure for numerical simulation. The OPR-1000 was originally designated as the Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plant (KSNP), and was re-designated as the OPR-1000 in 2005 for foreign sales. 500 artificial ground motions were generated based on site characteristics of Korea. Elastic modulus, damping ratio, poisson’s ratio and density were selected to consider material property variation due to aging deterioration. Six machine learning algorithms such as, Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), were used t o construct seispic response prediction model. 13 intensity measures and 4 material properties were used input parameters of the training database. Performance evaluation was performed using metrics like root mean square error, mean square error, mean absolute error, and coefficient of determination. The optimization of hyperparameters was achieved through k-fold cross-validation and grid search techniques. The analysis results show that neural networks present good prediction performance considering aging deterioration.

        목적: 라이프스타일 행동에 반영된 가치체계를 측정하기 위한 Yonsei Lifestyle Profile-Values (YLP-V)의 구성타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 연구방법: 온라인 리서치 기관에 등록된 만 55세 이상의 지역사회 거주 중고령자 및 노인 300명을 대상으로 YLP-V를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, 차별기능문항, 요인분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석은 요인구조 추정을 위한 탐색적 요인분석과 4가지 경쟁모델(단일요인, 계층적 요인, 다차원 요인, 이중요인)에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 통해 비교하고 타당성을 확인하였다. 결과: 목표회전을 통한 탐색적 요인분석 결과, YLP-V의 활동(activity, 5문항), 관심(interest, 4문항), 의견 (opinion, 9문항)에서 목표행렬에서 0.4 이상의 부하량을 갖는 것을 확인하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, 이중요인 모델(χ2 = 164.58**, degree of freedom = 117, root mean square error of approximation = 0.05, standard root mean residual = 0.04, comparative fit index = 0.95, Turker Lewis index = 0.93)이 가장 우수하게 나타났다. 결론: 라이프스타일에서 미시적 접근이 가능한 YLP-V 개발 근거와 일관성 있는 요인구조를 확인하였다. 이는 YLP-V가 총 18문항의 활동, 관심, 의견에 대한 이중요인 구조로 타당성을 확인하였으며, 건강 라이프스타 일에서 행동에 반영된 가치체계 측정과 이해에서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

        Occurrence of process environment changes, such as influent load variances and process condition changes, can reduce treatment efficiency, increasing effluent water quality. In order to prevent exceeding effluent standards, it is necessary to manage effluent water quality based on process operation data including influent and process condition before exceeding occur. Accordingly, the development of the effluent water quality prediction system and the application of technology to wastewater treatment processes are getting attention. Therefore, in this study, through the multi-channel measuring instruments in the bio-reactor and smart multi-item water quality sensors (location in bio-reactor influent/effluent) were installed in The Seonam water recycling center #2 treatment plant series 3, it was collected water quality data centering around COD, T-N. Using the collected data, the artificial intelligence-based effluent quality prediction model was developed, and relative errors were compared with effluent TMS measurement data. Through relative error comparison, the applicability of the artificial intelligence-based effluent water quality prediction model in wastewater treatment process was reviewed.

        본 논문에서는 기저 스크리닝 기반 크리깅 모델(BSKM: Basis Screening based Kriging Model) 생성의 정확도를 높이기 위해 페널티 를 적용한 최대 우도 평가 방법(PMLE : Penalized Maximum Likelihood Estimation)에 대해서 소개한다. BSKM에서 사용하는 기저함 수의 최대 차수와 종류는 그 중요도에 따라서 결정하게 되며, 이때 중요도의 지표는 기저함수에 대한 교차 검증 오차(CVE : Cross Validation Error)로 택한다. 크리깅 모델(KM : Kriging Model) 구성시 최적의 기저함수 조합은 우선 최대 기저함수 차수를 선택하고 개별 기저함수의 중요도를 평가를 하게 된다. 최적 기저함수 조합은 크리깅 모델의 CVE가 최소가 될 때까지 개별 기저함수의 중요도 가 높은 순으로 기저함수를 하나씩 추가하며 찾는다. 이 과정에서 KM은 반복적으로 생성해야 하며, 동시에 데이터 사이의 상관관계 를 나타내는 하이퍼 매개변수(Hyper-parameters)도 최대 우도 평가방법을 통해 계산하여야 한다. 하이퍼 매개변수의 값에 따라 선택 되는 최적의 기저함수 조합이 달라지기 때문에 KM의 정확도에 막대한 영향을 미치게 된다. 정확한 하이퍼 매개변수를 계산하기 위해 서 PMLE 방법을 적용하였으며, Branin-Hoo 함수 문제에 적용하여 BSKM 의 정확성이 개선될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

        of hazardous risk factors, risk estimation and determination steps by reflecting the trend of overseas risk assessment. METHODS : In deriving, estimating and determining risk factors, comparing the procedures presented by the ILO with the domestic guidline to find out the differences in procedural. and, According to the domestic manual, after setting the criteria for determining a deterministic perspective, analyze the risk assessment data of a specific domestic company and three overseas risk assessment research data to analyze the differences in methodology domestic and abroad. RESULTS : Within the country, there is a possibility that a deterministic view may be applied to all stages of procedure, and certain corporate data to the risk estimation and determination stage. In the case of overseas, the trend of applying deterministic perspectives to the risk determination stage was confirmed. CONCLUSIONS : Present the need for a standard model for improving deterministic methods in the other two stages, excluding risk determination in the domestic evaluation procedure.

        As a means to activate eco pastoral system in alpine grassland, the government can consider public pastures, which are currently unused, to scale them up into public ranches. Depending on ownership and operation, four management models proposed as follows: 1) Government-Owned and Operated with Balanced Profit and Loss 2) Government-Owned and Operated with Revenue Generation 3) Government-Owned but Privately Operated by Outsourced to Professional Manager 4) Full Privatization (Ownership and Operation by Private Individuals). The study outlined above proposes four management models for the activation of eco pastoral system in alpine grassland. It also suggests methods for the selection and performance evaluation of manager to establish a profitable structure. Additionally, the research provides management methods for the conservation of grazing ecology in pastoral ecosystems. Particularly, the adaptation of tools commonly used in South Korean business sector for the selection and performance evaluation of manager within the system of the proposed management models. This aspect is deemed valuable as it aligns these tools with the specific characteristics of eco pastoral system in alpine grassland, contributing not only to the effective implementation of the models but also to the enhancement of the revenue structure.

        Maintaining sea superiority through successful mission accomplishments of warships is being proved to be an important factor of winning a war, as in the Ukraine-Russia war. in order to ensure the ability of a warship to perform its duties, the survivability of the warship must be strengthened. In particular, among the survivability factors, vulnerability is closely related to a damage assessment, and these vulnerability data are used as basic data to measure the mission capability. The warship's mission capability is usually measured using a wargame model, but only the operational effects of a macroscopic view are measured with a theater level resolution. In order to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of a weapon system in the context of advanced weapon systems and equipments, a warship's mission capability must be measured at the engagement level resolution. To this end, not the relationship between the displacement tonnage and the weight of warheads applied in the theater level model, but an engagement level resolution vulnerability assessment method that can specify physical and functional damage at the hit position should be applied. This study proposes a method of measuring a warship’s mission capability by applying the warship vulnerability assessment method to the naval engagement level analysis model. The result can be used as basic data in developing engagement algorithms for effective and efficient operation tactics to be implemented from a single unit weapon system to multiple warships.

        Velvet antler is widely used as a traditional medicine, and numerous studies have demonstrated its tremendous nutritional and medicinal values including immunity-enhancing effects. This study aimed to investigate different deer velvet extracts (Sample 1: raw extract, Sample 2: dried extract, and Sample 3: freeze-dried extract) for proximate composition, uronic acid, sulfated glycosaminoglycan, sialic acid, collagen levels, and chemical components using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-light mass spectrometry. In addition, we evaluated the cytotoxic effect of the deer velvet extracts on BV2 microglia, HT22 hippocampal cells, HaCaT keratinocytes, and RAW264.7 macrophages using the cell viability MTT assay. Furthermore, we evaluated acute toxicity of the deer velvet extracts at different doses (0, 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg) administered orally to both male and female ICR mice for 14 d (five mice per group). After treatment, we evaluated general toxicity, survival rate, body weight changes, mortality, clinical signs, and necropsy findings in the experimental mice based on OECD guidelines. The results suggested that in vitro treatment with the evaluated extracts had no cytotoxic effect in HaCaT keratinocytes cells, whereas Sample-2 had a cytotoxic effect at 500 and 1000 μg/mL on HT22 hippocampal cells and RAW264.7 macrophages. Sample 3 was also cytotoxic at concentrations of 500 and 1000 μg/mL to RAW264.7 and BV2 microglial cells. However, the mice treated in vivo with the velvet extracts at doses of 500–2000 mg/kg BW showed no clinical signs, mortality, or necropsy findings, indicating that the LD50 is higher than this dosage. These findings indicate that there were no toxicological abnormalities connected with the deer velvet extract treatment in mice. However, further human and animal studies are needed before sufficient safety information is available to justify its use in humans.

        This study aimed to assess and determine the optimal model for predicting the full bloom date of ‘Fuji’ apples across South Korea. We evaluated the performance of four distinct models: the Development Rate Model (DVR)1, DVR2, the Chill Days (CD) model, and a sequentially integrated approach that combined the Dynamic model (DM) and the Growing Degree Hours (GDH) model. The full bloom dates and air temperatures were collected over a three-year period from six orchards located in the major apple production regions of South Korea: Pocheon, Hwaseong, Geochang, Cheongsong, Gunwi, and Chungju. Among these models, the one that combined DM for calculating chilling accumulation and the GDH model for estimating heat accumulation in sequence demonstrated the most accurate predictive performance, in contrast to the CD model that exhibited the lowest predictive precision. Furthermore, the DVR1 model exhibited an underestimation error at orchard located in Hwaseong. It projected a faster progression of the full bloom dates than the actual observations. This area is characterized by minimal diurnal temperature ranges, where the daily minimum temperature is high and the daily maximum temperature is relatively low. Therefore, to achieve a comprehensive prediction of the blooming date of ‘Fuji’ apples across South Korea, it is recommended to integrate a DM model for calculating the necessary chilling accumulation to break dormancy with a GDH model for estimating the requisite heat accumulation for flowering after dormancy release. This results in a combined DM+GDH model recognized as the most effective approach. However, further data collection and evaluation from different regions are needed to further refine its accuracy and applicability.

        급격한 산업화와 도시화로 인해 해양 오염이 심각해지고 있으며, 이러한 해양 오염을 실효적으로 관리하기 위해 수질평가 지수(Water Quality Index, WQI)를 마련하여 활용하고 있다. 하지만 수질평가지수는 다소 복잡한 계산과정으로 인한 정보의 손실, 기준값 변동, 실무자의 계산오류, 통계적 오류 등의 불확실성(uncertainty)을 내포하고 있다. 이에 따라 국내ㆍ외에서 인공지능 기법을 활용하여 수질평가지수를 예측하기 위한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해양환경측정망 자료(2000 ~ 2020년)를 활용하여 우리나 라 전 해역 즉, 5개의 생태구에 대한 WQI를 추정할 수 있는 가장 적합한 인공지능기법을 도출하기 위해 총 6가지의 기법(RF, XGBoost, KNN, Ext, SVM, LR)을 실험하였다. 그 결과, Random Forest 기법이 다른 기법에 비해 가장 우수한 성능을 보였다. Random Forest 기법의 WQI 점수 예측값과 실제값의 잔차 분석 결과, 모든 생태구에서 시간적 및 공간적 예측 성능이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서 개발한 Random Forest 기법은 높은 정확도를 바탕으로 우리나라 전해역에 대한 WQI를 예측 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

        In the automobile manufacturing industry, lightweight design is one of the essential challenges to be solved fundamentally. The vehicle wheels are classified as safety related components as the main substructure of the vehicle. In this study, we illustrate a technique for selecting the appropriate number of spokes. Based on the basic model of the selected number of spokes, we propose a method to maintain stiffness and design lightweight using topology optimization software. Based on the basic model of the selected number of spokes, it was redesigned to be lightweight while maintaining stiffness by utilizing topology optimization software. By comparing and reviewing the structural analysis results of the basic model and the redesigned model, a design technique that can maintain structural safety and reduce wheel mass was proposed.

        지구 대기에 영향을 주는 거의 모든 인간활동과 자연현상을 수치적으로 담아내는 지구시스템모델은 기후 위기 의 시대에 활용될 가장 진보한 과학적 도구이다. 특히 우리나라 기상청이 도입한 지구시스템모델인 Unified Model (UM)은 지구 대기 연구의 과학적 도구로써 매우 활용성이 높다. 하지만 UM은 수치 적분과 자료 저장에 방대한 자원 이 필요하여 개별 연구자들은 최근까지도 기상청 슈퍼컴퓨터에만 UM을 가동하는 상황이다. 외부와 차단된 기상청 슈 퍼컴퓨터만을 이용하여 모델 연구를 수행하는 것은 UM을 이용한 모형 개선과 수치 실험의 원활한 수행에 있어 효율성이 떨어진다. 본 연구는 이러한 한계점을 극복할 수 있도록 개별 연구자가 보유한 고성능 병렬 컴퓨터(리눅스 클러스터) 에서 최신 버전 UM을 원활하게 설치하여 활용할 수 있도록 UM 시스템 환경 구축 과정과 UM 모델 설치 과정을 구 체적으로 제시하였다. 또한 UM이 성공적으로 설치된 리눅스 클러스터 상에서 N96L85과 N48L70의 두 가지 모형 해 상도에 대하여 UM 가동 성능을 평가하였다. 256코어를 사용하였을 때, 수평으로 1.875o ×1.25o(위도×경도)와 수직으로 약 85 km까지 85층 해상도를 가진 N96L85 해상도에 대한 UM의 AMIP과 CMIP 타입 한 달 적분 실험은 각각 169분 과 205분이 소요되었다. 저해상도인 3.75o ×2.5o와 70층 N48L70 해상도에 대해 AMIP 한달 적분은 252코어를 사용하여 33분이 소요되는 적분 성능을 보였다. 또한 적분을 위해 사용된 코어의 개수에 비례하여 적분 성능이 향상되었다. 성능 평가 외에 29년 간의 장기 적분을 수행하여 과거 지상 2-m 온도와 강수 강도를 ERA5 재분석자료와 비교하였고, 해상 도에 따른 차이도 정성적으로 살펴보았다. 재분석자료와 비교할 때, 공간 분포가 유사하였고, 해상도와 대기-해양 접합 에 따라 모의 결과에서 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 슈퍼컴퓨터가 아닌 개별 연구자의 고성능 리눅스 클러스터 상에서도 UM이 성공적으로 구동됨을 확인하였다.
