In this study, the AHP (analytic hierarchy process) technique was used to analyze the risk of expected risk factors and fishing possibilities during gillnet fishing within the floating offshore wind farms (floating OWF). For this purpose, the risks that may occur during gillnet fishing within the floating offshore wind farms were defined as collisions, entanglements, and snags. In addition, the risk factors that cause these risks were classified into three upper risk factors and ten sub risk factors, and the three alternatives to gillnet fishing available within the floating OWF were classified and a hierarchy was established. Lastly, a survey was conducted targeting fisheries and marine experts and the response results were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, among the top risk factors, the risk was the greatest when laying fishing gear. The risk of the sub factors for each upper risk was found to be the highest at the berthing (mooring), the final hauling of fishing net, and the laying of the bottom layer net. Based on the alternatives, the average of the integrated risk rankings showed that allowing full navigation/fisheries had the highest risk. As a result of the final ranking analysis of the integrated risk, the overall ranking of allowing navigation/fisheries in areas where bottom layer nets were laid was ranked the first when moving vessels within the floating OWF was analyzed as the lowest integrated risk ranking of the 30th at the ban on navigation/fisheries. Through this, navigation was analyzed to be possible while it was analyzed that the possibility of gillnet fishing within the floating OWF was not high.
The air transport industry is experiencing unprecedented fluctuations in aviation demand through the Covid-19 pandemic, and is more focused than ever on maintaining and generating business profitability. During the pandemic, demand for air cargo has soared, and the conversion business from passenger aircrafts to freighters(P2F) is drawing attention as a new business in the aviation maintenance industry. This study derives important factors to be considered in order to successfully carry out the P2F project through a wide range of cases and related literature, and analyzes the relative importance of each factor using the analytic hierarchy process. Through a survey of 33 aviation maintenance experts with more than 20 years of field experience, the importance of main factors and their sub factors was determined and implications were drawn. As a primary result, in order to succeed in the P2F project, the main factors were identified in the order of skill, finance, and location. The most important sub factors for each main factors were identified in order of securing airframe modification skill, securing infrastructure construction cost, and creating P2F business complex and district. The quantified success factors suggested the critical direction for the successful development of Korea's P2F business, and presented viable and specific business strategies and implementation plans for each factors.
PURPOSES : The purpose of this study was to investigate directions for future smart city transportation policies and service development by evaluating road service satisfaction levels and predicting future service demand.
METHODS : A nationwide survey was conducted in Korea to develop a transportation service evaluation system based on the functions and objects of transportation. The satisfaction level of road service was evaluated using an analytic hierarchy process (AHP), promising service sectors were identified using the revised importance-performance analysis (IPA) technique, and detailed service demands by sector were suggested.
RESULTS : The most valuable service value felt by the people was "safety" (weight 0.4), and the overall satisfaction level was 68.9 points, slightly exceeding "normal." As a result of analyzing the promising service sectors by dividing them into urban and rural areas, "handicapped, elderly, and pedestrians" were important in both areas, and "road facility maintenance" was classified as an additional promising sector for rural areas.
CONCLUSIONS : People demand that future smart city transportation policies and services should be "people" and "safety" centered. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention not only to the development of new services but also to the improvement of problems with existing services and policies.
The purpose of this study is to find food safety approach in the Eco-label Chain of Custody(CoC) which is only focused to traceability. Because, consumers want to be assured the certified seafood comes from sustainable fishery as well as hygienic. In order to this approach, we used Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method as belows. We first understood the CoC criteria for using pair-wise comparison and analyzed and selected each Eco-label certifications and standards. Second, we carried out a survey to the targeted standard Marine Stewardship Council(MSC) CoC auditors all over the world and analyzed the priorities of food safety approach to 4 principles and 12 criteria belong the MSC CoC Standard. As the results, we found out that‘Management System’has the highest priority in the principles and ‘.Documentation’and‘Keeping Record’are the most important criteria for this approach. In addition, ‘.Training’and‘Identification’are also higher priority of criteria. So, we suggested food safety approach method for improvement of these criteria in conclusion based on discussion with specialist in this field.

The purposes of this study were to identify the evaluation categories, areas, attributes of the hospital food service and to define the relative importance of the evaluation categories, areas, attributes of the hospital food service using analytic hierarchy process. A survey was conducted from January 8th to 25th in 2007. This study proposes a new approach which combines Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) techniques to effectively evaluate Decision Making Units (DMUs). While DEA evaluates a quantitative data set, employs linear programming to obtain input and output weights and ranks the performance of DMUs, AHP evaluates the qualitative data retrieved from expert opinions and other managerial information in specifying weights. The objective of this research is to design a decision support process for managers to incorporate positive aspects of DEA's absolute numerical evaluations and AHP's human preference structure values. It is believed that a pragmatic manager will be more receptive to the results that include subjective opinions incorporated into the evaluation of the efficiency of each DMU efficiency when the AHP and DEA are combined simultaneously. The WPDEA method provides better discrimination than the DEA method by reducing the number of efficient units.
This study proposes a selection method of a performance evaluation index of waterproofing and anti corrosion materials used in domestic water treatment facilities for material and construction failures based on different usage and environmental conditions to study the possibility of structural performance maintenance. Different types of waterproofing・anti-corrosion materials have been evaluated based on their respective properties, and have been classified into separate categories based on their case studies of material failures in construction. As a result, 12 different performance evaluation indexes have been produced for the performance evaluation method. Among the 12 performance evaluation index 5 were selected with relatively low importance that produced a low value of 60% importance using AHP analysis method, and conclusively proposed 7 performance evaluation index criteria (wet surface adhesion, fatigue resistance, crack resistance, adhesion performance, joint performance, impact resistance, impermeability)

Recently, Shield TBM method has been used a lot since 1980. In this paper, we selected add factors for Damage factors of shield TBM method. And we analyzed weighting factors using AHP method.
The purposes of this study are to identify assessment items to evaluate riverfront for amenity and recreation and to analyze the relative importance of the items using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Total 15 items of 5 categories were identified through literature review and panel discussion. Based on the AHP analysis results, a weighted value was set for each of the layers in the hierachy. ‘Ecological Characteristics’ (0.333) was rated with the highest weighted value. followed by ‘Landscape Characteristics’(0.190) and ‘Physical Characteristics’(0.166). Among the assessment items, ‘Water Quality’ (0.152) and ‘River Naturality’(0.118) had higher weighted values. With the set of assessment items field assessments were carried out for Gyung-An Stream of Gyeonggi-Do to exam its applicability. Total 6 segments and 31 reaches out of the 22.5 km long river were evaluated and the mean scores of the five categories were converted into a percentile score for comparison. Overall, the segments which had higher scores were located close to neighborhood areas and had better connections with other historical and cultural amenities. Also, existing facilities was an important factor and needs to be considered for waterfront development.
