As pavements age and traffic loads increase, the importance of reliably evaluating pavement deterioration has increased. Therefore, this study proposes an Artificial Intelligence(AI)-based rating-classification method that integrates Falling Weight Deflectometer(FWD) deflection, the elastic modulus, and the crack rate obtained through coring to construct a continuous comprehensive index and classifies pavement deterioration into four stages based on the index. For this analysis, the deflection and elastic modulus obtained from the FWD test (a nondestructive test) and the crack rate calculated through coring (a destructive test) were converted into a continuous normalization index. Subsequently, a comprehensive index graph was constructed using a weighted integration method, and an AI-based slope change analysis was performed to determine the threshold value for classifying the pavement conditions. The step-by-step scoring-based and continuous comprehensive index-based analyses showed similar overall results. However, the continuous comprehensive index-based analysis was more effective for mitigating the stepwise distribution effect and reflecting the pavement deterioration trend in more detail. In both analysis methods, the slope change point was confirmed as the threshold value. Using this value, the pavement state can be classified into four stages, which reflect the deterioration characteristics of each pavement type. However, this study has several limitations. To improve the reliability of the system, additional detailed data, such as crack location, crack shape, and other field information used in the comprehensive index calculation, should be continuously incorporated. This approach enables the establishment of an evaluation system that integrates nondestructive and destructive test data.
This study proposes a deep learning–based predictive maintenance model for condition monitoring and remaining useful life (RUL) estimation of a 1 kW brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Multi-sensor signals, including vibration (10 kHz), current (20 kHz), and surface temperature (10 Hz), were acquired under six health conditions: normal, bearing outer race fault (BPFO), bearing inner race fault (BPFI), unbalance, misalignment, and stator insulation degradation. To jointly exploit spatial patterns and temporal degradation behaviors, a hybrid CNN–LSTM model with a multi-task learning framework was developed to perform 6-class fault classification and RUL regression simultaneously. Experimental results on the constructed BLDC motor dataset show that the proposed model achieves a classification accuracy of 95.8%, outperforming conventional SVM and 1D-CNN baselines (85.2% and 90.7%, respectively). In addition, the proposed method significantly reduces RUL prediction error, yielding an RMSE of 9.6 and an MAE of 6.8, which corresponds to approximately 39% improvement over a single LSTM-based regression model. These results demonstrate that the proposed CNN– LSTM multi-sensor fusion framework is effective for intelligent condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of BLDC motor systems, and it can be extended to a wide range of rotating machinery applications.
싱가포르에서는 1970년대 후반부터 버스 정차와 가감속이 빈번하게 발생하는 버스정류장 및 버스차로 구간을 중심으로 콘크리트 포장을 광범위하게 적용해 왔다. 본 연구에서는 싱가포르 도심지 버스정류장에 적용된 콘크리트 포장의 현장 조사 를 수행하였으며 버스정류장에 적용된 콘크리트 포장의 공법, 연장, 손상 유형 등의 조사를 통해 적용 현황과 공용상태를 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 싱가포르 도심지 버스정류장 구간에는 대부분 줄눈 철근콘크리트 포장이 적용된 것으로 조사되었으 며 약 18~32m의 연장을 지닌 것으로 확인되었다. 줄눈 간격의 경우 주로 8~9m로 형성되어 있으며 손상 유형으로는 줄눈부 스폴링 및 줄눈재 파손, 망상 균열, 대각선 균열 등이 확인되었다.
Background: Endothelial cells (EC) that make up the inner wall of blood vessels play an important role in angiogenesis and vascular recovery. Cardiovascular disease caused by dysfunction of ECs has been reported as a major cause of death worldwide. Despite significant research so far, the underlying mechanism of dysfunction of ECs in cardiovascular disease progression is not yet fully understood. Although therapeutic transplantation of autologous ECs is limited due to lack of cell availability, adiposederived stem cells (ADSCs), known for their ease of procurement and high potential for differentiation, will provide promising solutions to generate autologous ECs. Methods: This study investigated the optimal differentiation of ADSCs into ECs under EBM-2 culture conditions supplemented with VEGF and BMP-4 in hypoxia (2% O2). Results: During 14 days of in vitro differentiation, cells cultured in EBM-2 supplemented with VEGF showed the characteristics of early vascular ECs and some cells adopted polygonal forms. Conversely, cells cultured in EBM-2 and hypoxia supplemented with both VEGF and BMP-4 differentiated into the typical cobblestone morphology that appears in vascular ECs. As a result of immunostaining against the vascular ECs marker CD-31, CD-31 expression was increased under EBM-2 culture conditions with VEGF and VEGF + BMP-4 in hypoxia, but expression was insufficient in normal oxygenation (21% O2). In the flow cytometry analysis, high expression of CD-31 expression was observed under conditions including both VEGF and BMP-4 of hypoxia. Interestingly, in gene expression, the pluripotency marker OCT-3/4 was significantly reduced under hypoxic conditions, but SOX2 and NANOG expression were higher than under normal oxygen conditions. However, CD-31 expression was significantly higher under differentiation conditions in which VEGF and BMP-4 were added under hypoxia conditions. In a functional analysis, CD-31-positive ADSC-derived ECs differentiated under hypoxia had excellent tube formation and Dil-Ac-LDL uptake, which are important for vascular repair and function. Conclusions: These findings confirmed the therapeutic usefulness of ECs derived from ADSC for the treatment of cardiovascular disease due to the synergy effect of hypoxia and BMP-4.
The purpose of this study is to explore the applicability of satellite-based synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data combined with pavement management system (PMS) indicators for effective road condition monitoring on mountainous local roads. Field survey data, including the International Roughness Index (IRI) and rutting measurements, were used as the ground truth, whereas Sentinel-1 and COSMO-SkyMed SAR images were processed using the time-series InSAR analysis to detect surface displacement and pavement deformations. In addition, a deep learning framework integrating PMS data and SAR imagery was developed, consisting of a swine transformer and CNN–LSTM networks for the classification and localization of pavement defects. The results demonstrated that X-band SAR backscatter values were correlated with IRI variations and that the proposed hybrid two-stage approach (CNN for surface damage and LSTM for rutting) enhanced the accuracy of defect detection compared with conventional single-model approaches. These findings highlight the potential of combining remote sensing and AI-based analysis with existing PMS datasets to provide a cost-effective and scalable solution for road asset management and maintenance prioritization.

According to the results of the environmental noise measurement network operated by the Ministry of Environment in 2009, 67% of residential areas exceeded environmental standards during the day, and 82% exceeded during the night. In the case of exclusive residential areas in general districts, 30 cities (67%) exceeded the standards during the day, and 37 cities(82%) exceeded at night. For residential areas along roads, 18 cities(40%) exceeded during the day, and 33 cities(73%) exceeded at night. The Ministry of Environment operates noise and vibration measurement networks for environmental, railway, and aircraft noise, as well as road vibration measurement networks, to assess the noise and vibration status nationwide each year. In this regard, the results of measuring environmental noise in 348 areas across 45 cities nationwide last year showed that many cities in both general exclusive residential areas and residential areas along roads exceeded environmental standards both during the day(67% for general areas, 40% for road areas) and at night(82% for general areas, 73% for road areas). By region, cities such as Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Gimpo, and Cheongju showed high noise levels, while Mokpo, Namyangju, Seongnam, and Naju had lower noise levels. The regions with high noise levels were analyzed to reflect phenomena such as population and traffic increases due to regional development. This study aims to expand the noise measurement network in major cities of Jeollabuk-do, where there are relatively few measurement networks, by conducting an environmental noise survey on road traffic noise in Gunsan and Iksan, using it as basic data for establishing noise regulation zones and for the development of environmental noise reduction measures.
형법 제288조 제2항에서 규정하고 있는 노동력 착취 목적 유인죄의 경 우 지난 2013. 4. 5. 형법 개정을 통하여 신설된 범죄라고 할 수 있다. 그 런데 현행 형법과 인신매매방지법에서는 공통적으로 인신매매가 성립하기 위한 요소로서 ① 성매매와 성적 착취, ② 노동력 착취, ③ 장기적출 등의 착취 등을 목적으로 하는 것을 요구하고 있는데, 실무에 있어서 형법 제 289조를 적용하여 실제 형사처벌된 사례는 현재까지 총 7건에 불과한 실 정이며, 이 마저도 노동력 착취 목적의 인신매매죄를 제외한 나머지 유형 의 범죄로 분포되어 있는 특징을 보이고 있다. 이와 더불어 기존의 인신매 매와 관련된 학계의 주된 논의는 ‘성매매와 성적 착취’라는 부분에 국한되 어 활성화된 나머지 ‘노동력 착취’에 대한 논의는 거의 찾아볼 수 없는 지 경이다. 하지만 실무에 있어서 인신매매방지법에 의거하여 한국여성인권진 흥원 산하 인신매매등사례판정위원회에서 노동력 착취를 원인으로 하는 피 해자확인서가 실제 발급되고 있는 상황에서 더 이상 이에 대한 논의를 방 기(放棄)하는 것은 정도(正道)가 아닐 것이다. 이에 ‘노동력 착취’에 대한 해 석론 및 실무의 입장을 살펴보기 위하여는 부득이하게 형법 제289조 제3 항이 아니라 형법 제288조 제2항에서 규정하고 있는 노동력 착취 목적 유 인죄를 그 적용법조로 하는 판례를 중심으로 검토할 수 밖에 없다. 형법 제289조 제3항의 노동력 착취 목적 인신매매죄와 형법 제288조 제2항의 노동력 착취 목적 유인죄는 행위태양만 다를 뿐 초과주관적 구성요건요소 로서의 목적과 법정형(‘2년 이상 15년 이하의 징역’)이 모두 동일하기 때문 에 후자의 판례를 분석하는 것은 인신매매에 있어서 요구되는 ‘노동력 착 취’에 대한 실무의 입장을 직․간접적으로 이해하는데 있어서도 상당한 도움 을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 이하 본고에서는 우리나라 하급심 판례에서 노동 력 착취 목적 유인죄의 인정 여부가 문제된 사안을 중심으로 형법 제288 조 제2항의 구성요건을 어떻게 해석하여 이를 적용하는지에 대하여 분석해보기로 한다.
본 연구는 도로 보수 후 새롭게 도입되거나 개선된 도로안전시설 중 노면표시와, 안전운전에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 도로 노면 상 태에 대한 이용자 만족도를 연령 및 업종별로 분석하고자 수행되었다. 운전자 430명을 대상으로 5점 리커트 척도 설문을 시행하고, SPSS 27.0을 이용해 일원배치 분산분석(ANOVA)과 사후 검정을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 노면표시(크기·선명도·야간시인성)는 업종별(관 리·사무·전문직, 운전직, 학생 등)로 유의미한 차이가 있었고, 연령대별로는 10대가 노면표시 크기에 가장 만족도가 높았으며 고령층으 로 갈수록 낮아졌다. 또한 운전직의 만족도가 전반적으로 낮아 노면표시가 실제 주행에 크게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 연령별·업종별 특성을 고려한 도로환경 및 정책 개선에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
This study analyzes the participants’ purchasing and wearing conditions of Jiu-Jitsu uniforms, identifying issues with current designs and proposing improvements. Data were collected from 160 participants through an online survey from April 15 to May 20, 2024. Frequency, cross-tabulation analyses, and one-way ANOVA were performed using SPSS 29.0. The survey included questions related to participants’ general information, uniform purchasing behavior, satisfaction with Jiu-Jitsu uniforms, preferred brands, and sizing, and fit satisfaction. The results revealed that most male participants were in their 30s, while female participants were in their 20s. A higher proportion of males were overweight, while females were likelier to have a normal BMI. Participants generally owned 3–6 uniforms, most purchases in the 160,000–200,000 KRW price range. International brands were preferred, and participants selected uniforms based on fit, quality, and design. The most common sizes were A1 and A1L, with overweight and obese participants tending to opt for additional size options. Key improvement areas included pants length and waist width. The findings highlight the need for unisex pattern designs for individuals in the B range (160–170cm) and patterns specifically designed for overweight males in the C range (170–180cm). This study provides valuable insights into Jiu-Jitsu uniform preferences and body typespecific requirements, offering foundational data for enhancing uniform design and functionality.
