본 연구는 배수지에서 저수조를 포함한 대수용가의 수도꼭지에 이르는 구간에서 탁도와 잔류염소 농도의 시간적⋅공간적 변화를 분석하였다. 모니터링은 배수지, 중블록 유입 지점, 대수용가 유입 지점, 저수조 유출 지점, 수도꼭지 등 5개 지점에서 수행되었으며, 유량, 잔류염소, 탁도, pH, 전기전도도, 온도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 수돗물 이동 경로를 따라 잔류염소 농도는 점차 감소하고 탁도는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 특히, 비업무시간대에는 수돗물 정체로 인한 수질 저하가 확인되었다. 또한, 저수조의 건전성을 평가하기 위해 반응계수를 산출한 결과, 시간에 따른 저수조 내부 건전성 저하와 수질 악화 가능성이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 수돗물의 이동 거리, 사용 시간대, 유량 변화 및 공급 방식에 따라 수질이 달라질 수 있음을 보여주며, 저수조에 의존하는 지역에서는 안전한 수돗물 공급을 위해 지속적인 모니터링과 관리가 필요함을 시사한다.
In this study, 41 individuals in 7 locations within CP, MG, UC, and DN map sheets were observed. The MG map sheet had the highest number (n=13) of individuals, while the CP-3 site on the CP map sheet had the lowest number (n=1) of individuals. Land use analysis indicated that the MG site with the highest number of individuals had a high percentage (70.56%) of forest land areas with a small percentage (12.63%) of farmland areas. The CP-3 site with the lowest number of individuals had a small percentage (26.47%) of farmland areas. It also had the highest percentage (32.13%) of residential and commercial areas, covering 19,616 m2. Measurement results of the physical habitat environment for B. karubei indicated a mean substrate of -2.1 (Φm), an average water depth of 63.0 cm, and a flow velocity of 0.2 m s-1. The association rule analysis for co-occurring species revealed that Semisulcospira coreana, Ecdyonurus kibunensis, and Goera japonica had the highest associations among lotic species, while Limnodrilus gotoi and Calopteryx japonica demonstrated the highest association among lentic species.
The number, size, and material distribution of microplastics (MPs) sized 20-200 μm in the raw water and water treatment processes were analyzed using FT-IR in three water treatment plants in Jeju Province. The number of MPs was detected at 0.075-0.620 MP/L in raw water and 0.040-0.047 MP/L in filtered water, which is relatively lower than the results of other studies. Regarding the size of the MPs, particles sized 20-50 μm in both the raw water and the treated water accounted for the highest proportion, representing 65.6% and 56.3% of the total, respectively. In terms of MP type distribution, polypropylene (PP) was identified as the main type at 58.7%. In the water purification process, the MPs removal efficiency was the highest at 93.5% in the sedimentation and rapid filtration process, followed by 58.4% in membrane filtration and 40.0% in slow filtration. Continuous monitoring of the distribution of MPs in raw water and water treatment processes is recommended.
Air flow field characteristics in a compact chamber system are indispensable for the efficient development of vehicle aerodynamic performance. In this study, air flow and velocity uniformity in the chamber system were numerically analyzed using the CFD method. Air flows at a uniform velocity from the outlet of the blower, passes fast through the heat exchanger with partial pressure difference, and then moves into the blower inlet. Overall pressure drop through the fan gradually increases with the flow rate. The uniformity varies along the test section, decreasing by 5-10% with distance from the nozzle. These predicted results can be widely used as basic conceptual design data for an efficient vehicle chamber system.
황근은 동아시아에서 가장 북쪽에 분포하는 준맹그로브에 속한다. 황근의 식생 분포 변화를 살펴보는 것은 기후변화 로 인한 우리나라의 난대 식생대 변화를 관찰하는데 유용할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 Hibiscus속 준맹그로브와 황근의 지리적 분포 관계를 살펴보고 황근 군락 분포에 영향을 미치는 환경요인을 분석하였다. 황근 군락은 지역과 해안 유형에 의해 구분할 수 있었는데, 그룹 Ⅰ의 경우 깊은 만 안쪽으로 함몰된 지형에 발달한 토양을 기반으로 군락이 형성되어 있으며 초본 염생식물과 함께 출현하였다. 그룹 Ⅱ는 기반암이 많이 노출된 해안 혹은 자갈 해안에서 강한 파도의 영향을 견딜 수 있는 덩굴성 해안 관목과 함께 발달하였다. 그룹 Ⅲ은 일본에 위치한 군락으로 우리나라보 다 다양한 해안 유형에서 나타나며, 100개체 이상 큰 규모의 순군락이 출현하였다. 황근 군락 분포에 영향을 주는 환경요인을 분석한 결과 가장 따뜻한 분기의 강수량이 가장 중요한 요인으로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 기후 인자들과 준맹그로브 분포의 관계를 분석하고 기후변화 영향에 대한 황근의 생태적인 반응을 이해하는 기반을 마련하고자 한다.
In modern Chinese, homomorphemic monosyllabic and disyllabic words are one of the very special groups of word clusters which are easily confused by Chinese as a second language learners. Previous studies have not comprehensively examined this confusion phenomenon, and there is a lack of relevant literature involving psychological analyses. Firstly, this article comprehensively surveys the Chinese Intermediate Language Corpus and identifies 27 groups of highly confusable words. Secondly, this article analyses the distribution characteristics of the homomorphemic monosyllabic and disyllabic words, finding strong commonality in the distribution of learners’ native language backgrounds, with overwhelming bidirectional misuse and close lexical-semantic relations. It also finds that verbs are mainly misused in stylistic collocations, and nouns are frequently misused in both prosodic and stylistic collocations, while adjectives are often misused in semantics. Besides, the article analyses the generative mechanism from the psychological perspective of Chinese as the second language learners. It argues that L1-lemma mediation and the lack of prosodic and stylistic information of words in the psychological lexicon of leaners are the main reasons for the confusion. This article argues that the semantic confusion of words is difficult to overcome, while prosodic and stylistic confusion are even more difficult to overcome. Last but not the least, the article offers targeted pedagogical suggestions.
Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) is a species that has devastated the United States and Canada. It is known to play a role in destroying the ecosystem. In this study, the domestic distribution of garlic mustard was confirmed and a detailed distribution map was created for the Samcheok region, where the largest population has been established in South Korea. This study investigated the growth environment, life cycle, and population dynamics of the species in the Samcheok region. Garlic mustard was found in a total of 301 locations in Samcheok, with a total distribution area of 2,957 square meters. Annual plants germinated in mid-April, overwintered in rosette form, underwent vegetative growth from April 10 to April 24 the following year, and flowered from April 24 to May 7. Individuals producing seeds began to die off from June. Both annual and biennial individuals showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing in number around April 27 (118 days). Garlic mustard grew well under favorable light conditions in early spring. They showed less growth on leaf litter, short distance from roads, lower altitude, deciduous broad-leaved forest of middle and lower parts of the slope and forest edge. Without proper control measures in the Samcheok region, it is likely to spread more rapidly in deciduous broad-leaved forests along hiking trails in the Galyasan Mountains. In particular, it is more likely to extend to oak community where light enters the site during flowering than to pine community where there is less light in the site.
벽계천의 어류군집 특성 및 멸종위기 4종의 서식 양상을 밝히기 위해 2020년 4월부터 9월까지 조사를 실시하였다. 조사기간 동안 7개 지점을 선정하여 조사한 결과, 채집된 어류는 9과 31종 3,415개체였다. 출현종 중 우점종은 참갈겨니 (Zacco koreanus, 31.2%), 아우점종은 피라미(Z. platypus, 15.0%), 다음으로 돌고기(Pungtungia herzi, 11.7%), 줄납자 루(Acheilognathus yamatsutae, 5.4%), 납자루(A. lanceolata intermedia, 4.8%), 밀어(Rhinogobius brunneus, 4.4%), 가는돌고기(Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpa, 4.3%) 등의 순으로 우세하였다. 출현종 중 한국고유종은 19종(고유화율 61.3%)이었고, 기후변화민감종(냉수성 어종)은 금강모치(Rhynchocypris kumgangensis)와 둑중개(Cottus koreanus) 2종이 확인되었다. 법정보호종은 환경부지정 멸종위기 야생생물 II급인 묵납자루(A. signifer)와 가는돌고기, 한강납줄 개(Rhodeus pseudosericeus), 둑중개 4종이 출현하였으며, 주로 묵납자루와 가는돌고기는 중·하류에, 한강납줄개는 중류에, 둑중개는 최상류에 서식하고 있었다. 이중 가는돌고기는 출현개체수가 가장 많았고, 전장빈도분포도로 연령을 추정한 결과, 7월기준 전장 24~35㎜는 당년생, 54~75㎜는 1년생, 82~97㎜는 2년생, 104~109㎜는 3년생 이상으로 추정되었다. 군집분석 중 우점도는 상류에서 높고 하류로 갈수록 낮아지는 경향을 보이나 다양도와 균등도, 풍부도는 상류에서 낮고 하류로 갈수록 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 하천건강성(FAI)은 매우 좋음 5개 지점, 좋음 2개 지점으로 나타나 양호하였다. 벽계천은 비교적 서식지가 잘 보존되고 있었으나 멸종위기종이 많이 서식하는 중·하류부 일부는 하천공사가 진행되면서 서식지가 교란되고 있어 보존대책이 요구되었다.
The operation of nuclear facilities involves the potential for on-site contamination of soil, primarily resulting from pipe leaks and other operational incidents. Globally, decommissioning process for commercial nuclear power plants have revealed huge-amounts of soil waste contaminated with Cs-137, Sr-90, Co-60, and H-3. For example, Connecticut Yankee in the United States produced approximately 52,800 ton of contaminated soil waste, constituting 10% of the total waste generated during its decommissioning. Environmental remediation costs associated with nuclear decommissioning in the US averaged $60 million per unit, representing a significant 10% of the whole decommissioning expenses. Consequently, this study undertook a preliminary investigation to identify important factors for establishing a site remediation strategy based on radionuclide- and site-specific media- characteristics, focusing the efficiency enhancement for the environmental remediation. The factors considered for this investigation were categorized into physical/environmental, socioeconomic, technical, and management aspects. Physical/environmental factors contained the site characteristics, contamination levels, and environmental sensitivity, while socio-economic factors included the social concerns and economic costs. Technical and management factors included subcategories such as technical considerations, policy aspects, and management factors. Especially, technical factors were further subdivided to consider the site reuse potential, secondary waste generation by site remediation, remediation efficiency, and remediation time. Additionally, our study focused the key factors that facilitate the systematic planning for the site remediation, considering the distribution coefficient (Kd) and hydrogeological characteristics associated with each radionuclide in specific site conditions. Therefore, key factors in this study focus the geochemical characteristics of site media including the particle size distribution, chemical composition, organic and inorganic constituents, and soil moisture content. Moreover, the adsorption properties of site media were examined concerning the distribution coefficient (Kd) of radionuclides and their migration characteristics. Furthermore, this study supported the development of a conceptual framework, containing the remediation strategies that incorporate the mobility of radionuclides, according to the site-specific media. This conceptual framework would necessitate the spatial analysis techniques involving the whole contamination surveys and radionuclide mobility modeling data. By integrating these key factors, the study provides the selection and simulation of optimal remediation methods, ultimately offering the estimated amounts of radioactive waste and its disposal costs. Therefore, these key factors offer foundational insights for designing the site remediation strategies according the sitespecific information such as the distribution coefficient (Kd) and hydrogeological characteristics.
미세구조 특성의 불확실성은 재료 특성에 많은 영향을 준다. 시멘트 기반 재료의 공극 분포 특성은 재료의 역학적 특성에 큰 영향을 미치며, 재료에 랜덤하게 분포되어 있는 많은 공극은 재료의 물성 예측을 어렵게 한다. 공극의 특성 분석과 재료 응답 간의 상관관계 규명에 대한 기존 연구는 통계적 관계 분석에 국한되어 있으며, 그 상관관계가 아직 명확히 규명되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 합성곱 신경망(CNN, convolutional neural network)을 활용한 이미지 기반 데이터 접근법을 통해 시멘트 기반 재료의 역학적 응답을 예측하 고, 공극분포와 재료 응답의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 머신러닝을 위한 데이터는 고해상도 마이크로-CT 이미지와 시멘트 기반 재료의 물성(인장강도)로 구성하였다. 재료의 메시 구조 특성을 분석하였으며, 재료의 응답은 상장균열모델(phase-field fracture model)에 기 반을 둔 2D 직접 인장(direct tension) 유한요소해석 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 평가하였다. 입력 이미지 영역의 기여도를 분석하여 시편 에서 재료 응답 예측에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 영역을 CNN을 통하여 식별하였다. CNN 과정 중 활성 영역과 공극분포를 비교 분석하 여 공극분포특성과 재료 응답의 상관관계를 분석하여 제시하였다.
유기농 생태농업단지 논에서 출현하는 수서곤충의 생태자원 분포 특성을 비교하고자 유기농 단지 논에 둠벙 이 있는 조건과 둠벙이 없는 조건에서의 수서곤충상을 조사하여 관행 논의 분포 특성을 비교하였다. 수서곤충 출현은 둠벙이 있는 유기농 논 5목 15과 26종 413개체, 둠벙이 없는 유기농 논 5목 14과 22종 236개체, 관행 논 5목 11과 16종 155개체로 유기농 논에서 관행 논에 비해 수서곤충의 출현 과, 종 및 출현 개체수가 많았고, 유기농 논에서도 둠벙이 있는 조건에서 종수 및 개체수가 많음을 확인하였다. 특히 잠자리목의 경우 유기농 논 4과 8종 134개체, 둠벙이 없는 유기농 논 3과 5종 35개체, 관행 논 2과 4종 12개체로 전체 출현 종의 발생특성과 유사한 경향을 보였는데, 유기농 재배의 특성상 농약의 피해로부터 수서곤충에 안전한 환경이 조성된 점과 둠벙의 담수 및 다양한 수서생물의 발생으로 수서곤충의 서식조건에 유리하게 작용되었다고 보인다. 반면 파리목에서는 둠벙이 있는 유기농 논 3과 3종 18개체, 둠벙이 없는 유기농 논 3과 3종 25개체로 관행 논 2과 2종 24개체보다 발생양상이 다른 수서곤충에 비해 상대적으로 낮고, 관행 논보다 깔다구류의 개체수 19개체보다 각각 6개체, 12개체로 적게 출현한 점에서 유기농 재배유형과 둠벙의 서식처 제공이 수서곤충의 출현 및 분포에 건전성을 조장하는 방안이라고 판단된다.
The Asian longhorned tick, Haemaphysalis longicornis, is an ectoparasite of domestic and wild animals, which transmit various pathogens including Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome Virus (SFTSV). They are the predominant hard tick species in Republic of Korea (ROK) and widely distributed throughout ROK. It is known that H. longicornis produce their offspring via two reproductive strategies, bisexual and parthenogenesis. It might affect their population maintenance and vectorial capacity. Parthenogenesis H. longicornis had the insertion of two thymine ‘T’ in mitochondrial 16s rDNA. In this study, we analyzed the proportion of bisexual and parthenogenesis H. longicornis in ROK including thirteen cities: Goseong[GS], Sokcho[SC], Chuncheon[CC], Ganghwa[GH], Samcheok[SCH], Sangju[SJ], Boryeong[BR], Ulsan[US], Gochang[GC], Jinju[JNJ], Jindo[JD], Jeju[JJ], and Seogwipo[SG]. Parthenogenesis individuals predominated from the northeastern are of ROK including Goseong, Sokcho, Chuncheon, Ganghwa, Samcheok, Sangju, Ulsan, and Jinju. Whereas bisexual individuals predominated from the southwestern area in ROK including Boryeong, Gochang, Jindo, Jeju, and Seogwipo. The analysis of haplotype diversity using concatenated sequences of mitochondrial Cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and Cytochrome B (CytB) revealed that H. longicornis were grouped into two major haplotypes. Two major haplotypes were correlated with bisexual and parthenogenesis, respectively. Likewise, H. longicornis individuals were divided into two clades and each clade were indicated by bisexual and parthenogenesis. The current study provides us an understanding of the genetic characteristics of two reproductive strategies for H. longicornis, which will be led to expand knowledge of the life cycle and population maintaining for H. longicornis.
This research not only determined the preference of fashion brand distribution channels of active Korean and Chinese seniors who became major consumers in the fashion industry, but also analyzed the effect on these preferences and choices of distribution channels depending on personal consumption characteristics and differences between the two groups. Data was collected by a professional survey firm. SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 were used for empirical analysis, and frequency analysis, multiple response analysis, EFA, reliability analysis, CFA, SEM, and multiple-group comparison analysis were performed. As a result of multiple response analysis, the offline channel was revealed as the preferred fashion distribution channel for active Korean and Chinese seniors; the second most popular was the online channel. The results of multiple-group comparison analysis reveal differences between two groups in seeking emotional consumption via the offline channel; the effect was only evident for active Korean seniors. A difference in seeking emotional consumption via preference for online channel also existed, but only for active Chinese seniors. For these reasons, marketers targeting active Korean seniors will be effective to not only offer brand information by fashion display to let seniors understand the fashion brand, but also to have brand events to form positive emotions toward the fashion brand. Moreover, targeting active Chinese seniors will be necessary to transmit brand sensibility by utilizing metaverse marketing comprising various factors, so that consumers can enjoy the fashion brand.
