        n-Nonane, 1¸2¸4-trimethylbenzene (124-TMB), toluene, total xylene (TXYL), isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and methyl ethyl alcohol (MEK) are major volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from printing industries. The absorption amount of a single VOC per unit weight of silicone oil was as follows in the order of 189.5 g/kg-silicone oil for n-nonane, 91.7 g/kg-silicone oil for 124-TMB, and 60.1 g/kg-silicone oil for TXYL. Although hydrophobic VOCs were more absorbed in silicone oil than hydrophilic VOCs such as IPA and MEK, IPA and MEK, which had log Kow values of 1 or less, also were absorbed more than 26.0 g/kg-silicone oil. In two and three mixed VOCs of n-nonane, 124-TMB, and toluene, the absorption amount of each in silicon oil was less than that of single a VOC. The total absorption amount of two mixed VOCs ranged from 47.9 g to 138.7 g/kg-silicone oil, and the total absorption amount of three mixed VOCs was 65.8 g/kg-silicone oil. These results suggest that silicone oil is a promising pretreatment solution capable of absorbing high concentrations of VOCs that are intermittently emitted from printing industries. The absorption information of VOCs obtained in this study can be used as the design parameters of a damping device for the pretreatment of VOCs.

        본 연구는 복숭아 유목기에 생육 촉진을 목적으로 질소를 과다 시용하여 동해발생의 우려가 있을 경우 에틸알콜 토양 살포에 의한 수체 내 전분증진과 증가된 전분이 동해에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 수행하였다. 1. 전분함량은 질소 검정시비량 이상 시용에서는 시비량이 많아짐에 따라 감소하였고, 검정시비량의 75% 시용에서도 감 소하는 경향으로 부적절한 질소시비는 전분축적을 저해하였다. 2. 질소가 과다 시용된 복숭아 유목의 전분함량 증진을 위 해서는 9월 5일에 에틸알콜 50 mL를 토양 투입하는 것이 전 분함량을 가장 많이 증가시키는 효과적인 추비방법이었다. 3. 월동 전에 저온지역인 제천과 평창지역으로 수체를 이동 시켜 청원지역의 수체와 비교한 결과 4월 하순의 전분함량은 평창 >제천 >청원 순으로 높았다. 이는 평창지역은 12월 하 순 ~ 1월 상순, 제천지역은 2월 상순에 동해를 받아 전분이 당 으로 전환되어 세포의 결빙을 억제하는 기작이 원활하지 않았 기 때문이라고 판단되었다. 4. 질소 25% 이상 증비된 처리에 에틸알콜을 토양에 살포 하였을 때 동해경감 효과가 있었고, 월동 전 전분함량과 꽃눈동해와는 고도로 유의성 있는 부의 상관관계가 있었다.

        본 연구는 복숭아 품질의 핵심인 당도 향상을 위해 토양미생물의 영양원으로 에틸알콜을 투입하여 활성을 촉진시키고, 이들의 질소섭식 증가가 복숭아 수체로의 질소흡수를 제어하여 과중 감소 없이 당도를 향상시키는 최적의 에틸알콜 투입량을 구명하기 위해 수행하였다. 1. 토양 중 질산태질소의 함량은 에틸알콜 투입량 250ml에서는 12일, 500ml는 16일, 1,000ml는 24일 그리고 2,000ml는 29일간 적어 투입량이 증가할수록 질산태질소의 제어 기간이 길었다. 2. 엽 중 질소 함량은 무처리에 비해 첫 수확일인 9월 19일에는 에틸알콜 500 ml 이상 투입에서 적었고, 9월 25일과 10월 1일 수확에서는 1,000 ml 이상 투입에서 적었다. 3. 토양의 biomass C는 에틸알콜 투입 후 7일에서 26일 사이에 투입량 250 ml에서는 342 ~ 356 mg/kg, 500 ml는 431 ~453 mg/kg, 1,000 ml는 503~521 mg/kg일 그리고 2,000 ml는610 ~ 625 mg/kg로 유지되어 무처리에 비하여 증가되었고, 투입량이 많아짐에 증가량이 많아졌다. 4. Dehydrogenase 활성은 에틸알콜 250 ml 투입에서는 9월14일, 500 ml 투입은 9월 21일, 1,000 ml 투입은 9월 27일이후 감소하는 경향이었으며, 2,000 ml 투입에서는 10월 3일까지 활성이 지속되었다. 5. 과중은 에틸알콜 2,000 ml 투입에서 9월 25일 이후 수확시 감소되었지만, 1,000 ml 투입에서는 모든 수확시기에서 과중 감소 없이 당도가 증가되었다.

        The effects of part of plum, alcohol content and addition of t-resveratrol on the formation of ethyl carbamate during the fermentation for wine were investigated at a time interval (45 days) for 6 months. The concentration of the ethyl carbamate in plum wine was determined according to KFDA guideline for ethyl carbamate analysis. In the plum wine with 16% or 30% alcohol content, the concentrations of ethyl carbamate were increased with time of fermentation periods. The maximum concentrations of ethyl carbamate in 16% and 30% plum wines after the fermentation for 6 months were 0.071 μg/g and 0.188 μg/g, respectively. When t-resveratrol was added at the level of 10 μg/g in both 16% and 30% plum wine, the concentrations of ethyl carbamate at 6 months were 0.078 and 0.216 μg/ g, respectively. The addition of t-resveratrol at the level of 300 μg/g in both 16% or 30% plum wine, the concentrations of ethyl carbamate at 6 months were 0.078 and 0.169 μg/g, respectively. The ethyl carbamate in the plum wine was not formed during fermentation for 6 month as using the flesh of plum, but 0.588 μg/g of ethyl carbamate was formed as using plum with plum seed. The addition of 300 μg/g of t-resveratrol actually increased the concentration of the ethyl carbamate by 0.088 μg/g as fermented for 6 months using plum with seed. These results suggest that the flesh of plum should be used to reduce the formation of ethylcarbamate for production of plum wine and that the addition of t-resveratrol during fermentation of plum wine can not reduce the concentration of the ethyl carbamate.

        This study was designed to investigate the formation of ethyl carbamate (EC) during the ripening of Maesil with sugar and Soju (19.5~35% alcohol contents) using a homemade method. Maesil, sugar and Soju were purchased at ordinary market in June of 2012. The preparation of sample for analysis was conducted by method of Henry et al. The analysis of GC/MS was used SIM mode (m/z 89, 74, 62). Quantification was performed in terms of the 62 ion and was based on an internal standard procedure. Good linearity was obtained with a regression coefficient (r2 = 0.993). Low detection limits (LOD) was achieved 4.31 ug/kg and recovery for alcohol was 74.8%. During 90 days, fermentation with sugar was not detected EC (under LOQ). 15 days ripened Maesil wine contained EC between non detected~32.7 ug/kg and 90 days ripened Maesil wine was 19.7~87.4 ug/kg. Higher proportion of Maesil and Soju increased EC contents. EC levels were increased 32.7 ug/kg to 87.4 ug/kg in the ratio of Maesil to 35% alcohol-Soju (1:1). In the ratio of Maesil to 35% alcohol-Soju (1:3) was increased non detected to 69.7 ug/kg. After 90 days, Maesil wine was filtered Maesil through a seive and ripened by 180 days to investigate the formation of EC compared with non filtered. Treatment of filtered, EC contents was much higher level compared with non filtered. Therefore, this result showed that alcohol contents contribute to increase EC formation more than Maesil.

        The effects of drying agents and ethyl alcohol treatment on the flower color of Gentiana uchiyamai. The flower color was not much changed in flower sheet, in the case of absorbtion papers only. The color was least changed in Korean and China hwasunjis, in the case of absorbtion papers and silica gel treatment. The color was less changed in flower sheets, window papers, and China hwasunjis, and was most changed in newspapers, in the case of absorbtion papers and Na2SO4 treatment. The color was least changed in China hwasunjis, and most changed in dampened papers, in the case of absorbtion papers and CaO treatment. The color tended to change far from the original one, as treatment time got longer, in the case of 0.01M and 0.lM of tartaric acid. The longer the treatment time and the bigger the concentration of ethyl alcohol, the bigger flower color.
