        In general, companies operate systematically in response to financial risks such as exchange rates and liquidity, while they are vulnerable to risks in the manufacturing and sales processes. In particular, logistics refers to the activities for planning, managing and implementing efficient flows from the starting point of goods and products to the point of consumption, The purpose of this study was to develop key risks and key risk management indicators (KRIs) for risks that undermine logistics efficiency so that logistics risks can be effectively prevented and managed. As a result, 40 risk management indicators (KRIs) were developed in a total of six categories in the logistics sector, and the definition, calculation method and early warning grade of each KRI were presented so that companies could prevent risks in advance in logistics activities and contribute to enhancing efficiency of their work.

        In this study, to improve the logistics flow of existing given chemical logistics warehouse, four logistics flow alternatives were proposed to minimize truck interference by building simulation model. The simulation model for chemical storage warehouse was built to evaluate system performance. Among the four new improved alternatives based on the basic model, the model with the same truck’s pathways and locations of facilities identified an increase in the number of interferences but a decrease in daily working hours as the number of resources in a particular facility increases. Therefore, the three groups were classified as ‘efficiency’, ‘complementary’, and ‘safety’ based on the daily working hours, and the ratio of trucks entering two types of logistics warehouse was set in consideration of future market fluctuations. For each of the six types, the optimal number of resources was selected as the number of resources in the facilities with the least number of interferences in the basic model and the evaluation measures and characteristics set in this study were compared and analyzed. As a result, the Alternative 4 model operating the underground roadway produced interference between 17.0% and 36.4% of the basic model, with 113.3% of the interior loadspace.

        A forklift accident occurs in the logisitcs center. there are many kinds of accidents such as a casualty accident or a minor accident, etc. there are many other causes of accident, including poor visibility and habitual operational mistakes The result of the accident is the phenomenon of cutting, falling, scratching of the product. In the case of minor accidents, workers do not report accidents, so the occurrence of accidents is unknown. The customer receives the goods and then notifies them that they are defective product. After the product is returned, we can see that the forklift accident caused the problem of the product The result of the late response affects the image of the enterprise. In this study, we recognized the need for safety education to prevent accidents and found out which of the education items could raise awareness of safety. As result of the study, disinfection and forklift maneuverability regarding speed were mentioned as the most important items in education.

        Vietnam is a developing country with impressive economic achievements in recent years. Efficient logistics system is considered the key to success of Vietnam’s development, especially when its economy relies on import, export and foreign investment. Since 2007, Logistics Performance Index (LPI) issued by the World Bank has been used as a trustworthy signal for the condition of a country’s logistics system. In 2018, Vietnam’s LPI shows a spectacular improvement by increasing 25 ranks and stands at the 39th position in the global ranking. It is also the best position for a lower-middle income economy in the ranking. The paper aims to reveal the current situation of Vietnam’s Logistics system behind this remarkable increase of the LPI ranking. Both the statistical and empirical analyses will be applied to answer the proposed Hypothesis and Sub-Questions for better understanding on Vietnam’s LPI. It is concluded that despite of a sudden rise in the LPI results, Vietnam’s logistics system has not shown a significant improvement. In order to maintain the LPI rank in the top 50 in the world, Vietnam needs to continue making efforts to develop synchronous logistics system to gradually solve current problems.

        For the whole process of circulation, distribution, application of the logistics system is a higher development step of transportation technology. Multimodal transport has linked all modes of transport together to serve the supply and consumption needs of the manufacturer. Currently, when e-commerce (EC) is on the rise, quality logistics and delivery services are the essential stages to achieve success in transactions. e-commerce today is no longer a fashion trend; it is an essential part of the retail industry. EC is changing the game of Logistics. The e-commerce world has been introducing many risks and complex issues that logistics and supply chain experts have never faced. E-commerce is the main impact on terminal logistics (last mile) and warehousing. However, it is also quite interesting to see how e-commerce is impacting airports and seaports. E-commerce is growing actively in Vietnam at a rate of about 25% per year, which is an excellent opportunity for business logistics services to get more orders. Moreover, the Vietnamese logistics market is small but has a high growth rate (20% - 25% / year). In recent times, this market is expected to change the face and grow faster due to the development of electronic retail in Vietnam and e-Logistics logistics trends in the world. However, to meet the requirements, to grasp the opportunities, logistics enterprises need to link to get a closed and synchronized service chain. So logistics companies need to increase information, respond faster, enhance technology to meet flexible processes, establish networks, and business links to meet changing needs. The article shows that the inadequacies and lack of cohesion between logistics service providers and e-commerce are limiting competitiveness, losing opportunities of enterprises, and the economy in the context of healthy industrial revolution 4.0. The assessment of the correlation and connectivity of logistics and e-commerce enterprises in Vietnam in the paper will contribute significantly to the development of Vietnam's economy in the period 2020-2025.

        Vietnam is located in the centre of Asia - Pacific, on international maritime routes. With a long coastline of about 3260 km stretching from North to South, Vietnam has many favourable conditions to bring import and export goods to the world. Not only its production, but Vietnam is also an ideal place to conduct transhipment activities such as transit, border-gate transfer, and temporary import for re-export. Vietnam is a country with favourable natural conditions and geographical location to develop logistics services. Along with the process of opening and integration, the volume of goods produced, domestically circulated and exported and imported in recent years has grown strongly, which is the premise and driving force for the development of logistics services. Logistics is becoming an essential service industry of international trade activities and attracts extraordinary attention to the economic community. The role of science and technology in development has been widely accepted. In today's increasingly competitive international environment, technology is a vital strategic element for rapid socio-economic development. Thanks to technological innovation, businesses have many opportunities to improve productivity, product quality, as well as to improve the ability in designing new production lines, new products and improving the efficiency in business management and operation. In order to survive and develop sustainably, all countries have preferential policies to encourage businesses to innovate technology. Moreover, businesses also recognize the need for technological innovation to keep pace with the world's development trend; this is the experience gained from countries with developed economies. This paper presents some issues on trends and applications of information technology, blockchain technology in the field of supply chain management and logistics to improve the competitiveness and develop logistics services of Vietnam. On that basis, the article also proposes several recommendations to support businesses in innovation and technology application in managing and operating this critical economic sector.

        Need to make efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to slow global warming is globally recognized and also appealing to the United Nations. The main cause of greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide, and the nation has 23.9 percent of its total emissions in the transportation sector. It was also reported that 61.56 percent of living waste is being recycled, suggesting that environmentally friendly logistics activities should proceed with efforts on goods and services at each stage of distribution. In this study, we conducted a survey of green logistics activities that were environmentally friendly by businesses, divided into management, water/delivery and packaging waste, and identified the status and level of each business sector. As a result, data was collected from 36 manufacturing companies, 28 distribution businesses, and 40 logistics businesses, all of which were 104 companies, and based on the analysis results, a measure for environmentally friendly logistics activities was proposed.

        Currently, the 4.0 industrial revolution has influenced almost sectors entire the world. Chances, and challenges always are created in the fourth industrial revolution that has never faced in the past. Changing and renewing are necessary unless enterprises will come out of “playground” of the fourth industrial revolution. The navigational field which has not been outside the “playground” has suffered from numerous challenges currently. Although the possible advantages of marine industry only include the seaport system and government support, the challenges and barriers are the majority. Labor, database management, digital technologies, infrastructures, investment, and customer’s attractions are the existent trials of the maritime field. It is evaluated as the key major; logistics has followed the trend of expanding. In order to give general views for readers about the prevailing tendency, the author contributes by writing a small article. Although the fourth industrial revolution has originated many barriers, the development stages of the logistics industry in the revolution also are mentioned in the article. In order to write the article, consulting several sources such as books, newspapers, magazines, reports as well as other articles was necessary. Analysis, statistic, prediction, the application is the essential methods which were used to express the topic. The authors used the SWOT analysis method to assess opportunities and challenges for Vietnam's logistics industry in the early stage of the 4.0 revolution. Some recommendations for the sustainable and adaptive development of Vietnam's logistics industry have been proposed from the above analysis. The article consists of four root parts which are: firstly, the development stages of the logistics industry; secondly, the reality of logistics and supply chain management in 4.0 industrial revolution; thirdly, the expanding tendency of the Vietnam logistics industry; eventually, recommendations for Vietnam logistics industry to meet the world trend. Relating to the logistics sector and the fourth industrial revolution, the article will reflect the considerable development and opportunities of the logistics field during the 4.0 industrial revolution approaching period.

        Logistics companies are worrying about securing of differential competitiveness so as to be competitive companies in keen logistics market. The ground is how users are satisfied by sell-established service system to respond not only economic feasibility of logistics costs but also diversity and advancement of logistics needs. The competitiveness of logistics companies is also caused by customer satisfaction of service and only companies finding and satisfying customer needs continuously may be more competitive. For the competitiveness, it’s the most important to analyze demands of current and potential customers and their pursuing value properly. Therefore, this researcher grasped PSL for online logistics service users with 5-point Likert-scale and quality-level decision method that consider the weighted value based on Kano model, measured customer’s potential Demand for service through PCDI, and suggested methodology for deciding the priority of the improvement with loss function of Taguchi.

        In the field of optimization, many studies have been performed on various types of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) for a long time. A variety of models have been derived to extend the basic VRP model, to consider multiple truck terminal, multiple pickup and delivery, and time windows characteristics. A lot of research has been performed to find better solutions in a reasonable time for these models with heuristic approaches. In this paper, by considering realtime traffic characteristics in Map Navigation environment, we proposed a method to manage realistic optimal path allocation for the logistics trucks and cargoes, which are dispersed, in order to realize the realistic cargo mixing allowance and time constraint enforcement which were required as the most important points for an online logistics brokerage service company. Then we developed a prototype system that can support above functionality together with delivery status monitoring on Map Navigation environment. First, through Map Navigation system, we derived information such as navigation-based travel time required for logistics allocation scheduling based on multiple terminal multiple pickup and delivery models with time constraints. Especially, the travel time can be actually obtained by using the Map Navigation system by reflecting the road situation and traffic. Second, we made a mathematical model for optimal path allocation using the derived information, and solved it using an optimization solver. Third, we constructed the prototype system to provide the proposed method together with realtime logistics monitoring by arranging the allocation results in the Map Navigation environment.

        This study aims to provide a real-time information to the driver by effectively operating the advanced safety device attached to the freight vehicle, thereby minimizing insecure behavior of the driver such as speeding, rapid acceleration, sudden braking, And improve driving habits to prevent accidents and save energy. Advanced safety equipment is a device that warns the driver that the vehicle leaves the driving lane regardless of the intention of the driver and reduces the risk of traffic accidents by mitigating or avoiding collision by detecting a frontal collision during driving.The main contents of this report are as follows: In case of installing a warning device on a lane departing vehicle (excluding a light vehicle) and a lorry or special vehicle with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes, the driver must continue to operate unless the driver releases the function.In addition, when the automatic emergency braking system is installed, the structure should be such that the braking device is operated automatically after warning the driver when the risk of collision with the running or stopped vehicle in the same direction is detected in front of the driving lane.

        최적화 분야에서는 VRP(Vehicle Routing Problem)에 대한 많은 연구가 오래전부터 이루어져 왔다. 기본적인 VRP 모형을 확장하여, 단일차고지와 다수차고지 특성, Pickup and Delivery 특성, Time Windows 특성 등을 고려하여 다양한 모형들을 도출되고 있으며 이들에 대한 보다 나은 해를 구하는데 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 이들 VRP 모형들은 노드 수의 증가에 따른 NP-Hard 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 최적화에 초점을 맞추기 보다는 Genetic Algorithms, Tabu Search, Simulated Annealing 등의 메타휴리스틱 기법 등을 이용하여 적용할 수 있는 우수한 해를 도출하려 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시간제약을 가지는 Multi-Depot Pickup and Delivery 모형을 이용하여 3자물류 기업에서 물류 트럭의 할당 및 이들에 대한 운영 상황 모니터링을 지원할 수 있는 시스템 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 수요기업의 요구사항을 반영하여 가장 중점을 두고자 하는 혼적이 가능하고 시간제약을 반영한 해를 도출하고자 했으며 도출된 해를 기반으로 물류를 트럭에 할당한 후 물류 트럭에 대한 GPS기반의 모니터링 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.
