        The use of Project Management Information System (PMIS) is increasing in project management industries such as construction, defense, manufacturing, software development, telecommunication, etc. It is generally known that PMIS helps to improve the quality of decision making in project management, and consequently improves the project performance. However, how much and which parts of project management performance are affected by PMIS still need to be studied further. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of PMIS quality on project management performance. We collected data from various project based industries such as construction, defense, manufacturing, software development and telecommunication by using survey questionnaire. PMIS quality was measured in three dimensions. They are system quality, information quality and service quality. Project management performance was measured in nine variables such as time reduction, work accuracy, cost management, etc. Statistical analyses such as multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The results showed that PMIS quality had significant impacts on the project management performance and user satisfaction. It was notable that only two dimensions out of the three PMIS quality dimensions, system quality and information quality, affected the project management performance. Also, it was found that PM performance played a mediating role between PMIS and user satisfaction, and between PMIS and reuse intention. The contribution of this research is that it helps to clarify what aspects of PMIS affect the project management performance and user satisfaction.

        Korea's modern waterworks began with construction of DDukdo water treatment plant in 1908 and has been growing rapidly along with the country’s economic development. As a result, water supply rates have reached 98.5% based on 2013. Despite multilateral efforts for high-quality water supply, such as introduction of advanced water treatment process, expansion of waterworks infrastructure and so on, distrust for drinking tap water has been continuing and domestic consumption rate of tap water is in around 5% level and extremely poor comparing to advanced countries such as the United States(56%), Japan(52%), etc. Recently, the water management has been facing the new phase due to water environmental degradation caused by climate change, aging facilities, etc. Therefore, K-water has converted water management paradigm from the "clean and safe water" to the "healthy water“ and been pushing the Smart Water City(SWC) Pilot Project in order to develop and spread new water supply models for consumers to believe and drink tap water through systematic water quality and quantity management combining ICT in the whole water supply process. The SWC pilot projects in Pa-ju city and Go-ryeong county were an opportunity to check the likelihood of the "smart water management" as the answer to future water management. It is needed to examine the necessity of smart water management introduction and nationwide SWC expansion in order to improve water welfare for people and resolve domestic & foreign water problems.

        『Act on Facilitation of Purchase of Small and Medium Enterprise – Manufactured Products and Support for Development of Their Markets』 was created and implemented. This thesis is aimed to analyze the current status on the problems of each project party and understand their improvement requests so that mutually beneficial plans can be sought and improved process is presented for the continuous development of the direct construction material purchase system as well as successful construction projects. And This thesis summarized the purpose of the institutions and their change histories, and related law as well as codes for the better understanding of administrative procedures for the purchase system and the analyses as well as the improved process on the difficulties in complying with the current institutions.

        It seems that a primary concern of the project-based company, which provides a large scale product or service over long term period, is to run a successful project through systematic project process control and control costs. One of the typical project control methods is Earned Value Management System(EVMS) which analyses the precess through performance measurement. Even though the EVMS is a highly efficient tool in the managerial aspect, it cannot easily determine the Planned Value(PV), Actual Cost(AC), or Earned Value(EV) due to the indistinct criteria and extensive data. The accurate calculation of AC in particular, is the basic of project management, but most companies record direct personnel expenses or direct expenses only. Since they calculate indirect expenses based on the estimated ratio, it limits the systematic project management that reflects changes in profit and loss of a company. This study introduces a EVMS for project management and its actual case based on EVMS and ERP system which some additional modules are installed for performance measurement. It is expected that this new method enables a company to save time and effort, and also to improve transparency by specifying expense items in detail and to switch quarterly settlement to monthly by reducing the time of calculation.

        본 연구는 전사적 프로젝트 관리 시스템(예:동부그룹)구축 초기 설계 단계에서 주요 이해관계자로부터 시스템 이용시 반영하고자 하는 주요 기능을 QFD를 활용 도출 하고자 하였다.주요 이해관계자로는 임원,중간 관리자,일반 사용자,시스템 관리자등 4그룹으로 나눠 진행되었다. 설문조사 결과 고객의 원하는 기능은 크게 주요 어플리케이션 항목,시스템 보안,데이터 분석으로 그룹핑 할 수 있었으며 고객 요구에 맞는 품질 특성으로는 시스템 사용자 편의성,데이터 신뢰성, 데이터 분석 용의성 등이 도출 되었다. 요구 사항과 품질 특성을 매트릭스로 각 항목간 대응관계를 표시해서 품질표를 작성한 결과 고객들은 시스템 설계시 최우선 핵심 항목으로는 업무에 맞는 기능 제공과 프로그램 오류 방지, 다양한 조건 검색을 원하는 것으로 나타났다.

        The authors devised and presented the method of development for project management system. The function and item for project management system are also presented in this article. This is the case of developing a practical system for project management in electronic company. The electronic company can utilize this method as a guideline of development.         The Sustainable Water Resources Research Center (SWRRC) was established to manage water resources in an integrated manner and has been supported as a part of the 21st Frontier Research and Development Program by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and Ministry of Construction and Transportation since August 2001. The mission of the SWRRC is to cope with future water shortage problems through development and implementation of technologies of integrated water resources management. This mission ultimately aims at improving of living standards of human being, which is one of the major goals of the 21st Frontier Research and Development Program. The project is conducted by three phases. Duringthe first phase (2001. 8 ~ 2004. 6), the majority of funding is used for development of core and supporting technologies. In the second phase (2004. 7 ~ 2007. 6), with the core and supporting technologies financed continuously, the fund will be usedon different parts of studies in terms of sectors, subjects and integrated researches, and the rest of the fund (50%) will go toward implementation combined with business in the form of providing technologies. In the final phase (2007. 7 ~ 2011. 6), 30% of the fund will be used to integrate developed systems and 70% will be spent on implementation for selected areas to which newly developed technologies will be applied Project Management System for Water resources R&D is cost-effective and well fitted system by resolving many kind of problems facing such a large research and development program considering limited manager.
