        This study presents a research methodology based on a successful e-learning model, which presents the inter-relationship between an e-learner’s characteristics and quality perception in regard to LMS (learning management systems). This research model focuses on the e-Learner’s cognitive empathy, self-regulatory efficacy, self-regulated learning strategies, and satisfaction with the learning environment. The learning environment consists of a learning management system, learning content, as well as interactions which were provided through the e-learning procedures. Based on the assumption that e-learning, as information system - its attributes, correlates with the learner’s characteristics, the study verified user-satisfaction and system’s quality to information systems. In the information systems success model, independent variables are such as an e-Learner’s cognitive empathy, self-regulated learning strategy, self-regulatory efficacy, satisfaction regarding learning content, system quality, and interactions between the teacher and learner; and the dependent variables are such as the e-Learner’s expected performance and actual performance levels through professor evaluations. This paper concludes that the e-learner’s characteristics, such as cognitive empathy and self-regulated learning strategies, are considered as important variables in respect to e-learning performance. Additionally, LMS quality is also considered to be important. The validity of this research model will be demonstrated on an empirical basis.

        A considerable number of corporations seem to be deeply interested in Quality Management as a tool to improve competitive advantage of their products. Especially, under dynamic management circumstances recently, acquisition of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification for domestic corporations could have great impact on outcomes, and it becomes even more important for corporations depended largely on exports. However, it is not simply acquisition of ISO certification itself that gives dominant competitive advantage, and effects of acquiring ISO certification on every corporation are different. On this study, I would like to examine how purpose and goal for ISO 9000 influence on outcomes later on, and how CEO’s concern and the corporation’s capability could change the outcomes after all. As a result of the study, importation of ISO 9000 for the purpose of ensuring competitive advantage of products, standardization of quality management system, and benefits in the short run showed a positive affects on outcomes. Also, the relationship between purpose of acquiring ISO 9000 and outcomes became more connected as the manager’s interest increased, and a greater capability of a corporation caused a greater effect on improvement of productivity and image of the corporation.

        More and more countries are pursuing the improvement of their companies international competitiveness, quality improvement and increase of productivity by adopting the technology and management standards for information and communications industry as a national standard. This trend based on international standards contributes to promotion of international trade in information and telecommunication industry.         In this research, we investigate the countermeasure of Product Liability through existing research or books for reference about PL and ISO 9000:2000 quality management system. ISO9001:2000 품질경영시스템의 요구사항은 고객만족 지향에 대한 프로세스의 지속적인 개선을 강조하여 개정되었고, 고객의 요구는 제품의 안전을 더욱 중요시하는 추세로서 이러한 대응방안을 ISO9001:2000 품질경영시스템의 요구사항에서 고찰·제시하고자 한다.         Purpose - The study’s aim is to assess performance quality delivered through a performance management system. The case study first measures the effectiveness of the present performance management system of Bhushan Steel Ltd. (BSL), and then secondarily analyzes the employee training impact. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study research approach using a survey was followed. The final sample size was 50, with a simple random sampling technique used. Primary data came from the company itself and the secondary from books, the Internet, journals, etc. Results - BSL employee appraisals are used for many developmental aspects such as competence in the present job, improvements, performance development, and training needs. The results indicate that individual performance can improve if employees perceive the system as more transparent (i.e., not so confidential). Conclusions - Overall, the BSL employees think that the company appraisal system is useful; however, to make it better the company has to improve many aspects including appraisals based on supervisor observations. The company could use a self-appraisal and a 360-appraisal approach to improve such assessments.
