Orthokeratienized odontogenic cyst (OOC) is a comparatively unusual developmental odontogenic cyst arising from odontogenic epithelium. Recurrence has rarely been noted, and has been reported in less than 2% of cases. Epidermoid cyst (EDC) is a benign cystic lesion, which is lined by stratified squamous epithelium and includes keratin debris. They can present anywhere in the body but are rare in the head and neck areas. In this report, we present an uncommon case of simultaneous occurrence of OOC in mandible and EDC around the areas of both ears in a patient who has no history of genetic syndrome.
Observations of line of sight (LOS) Doppler velocity and non-thermal line width in the o-limb solar corona are often used for investigating the Alfven wave signatures in the corona. In this study, we compare LOS Doppler velocities and non-thermal line widths obtained simultaneously from two dierent instruments, Coronal Multichannel Polarimeter (CoMP) and Hinode/EUV Imaging Spectrometer (EIS), on various o-limb coronal regions: aring and quiescent active regions, equatorial quiet region, and polar prominence and plume regions observed in 2012{2014. CoMP provides the polarization at the Fe xiii 10747 A coronal forbidden lines which allows their spectral line intensity, LOS Doppler velocity, and line width to be measured with a low spectral resolution of 1.2 A in 2-D o limb corona between 1.05 and 1.40 RSun, while Hinode/EIS gives us the EUV spectral information with a high spectral resolution (0.025 A) in a limited eld of view raster scan. In order to compare them, we make pseudo raster scan CoMP maps using information of each EIS scan slit time and position. We compare the CoMP and EIS spectroscopic maps by visual inspection, and examine their pixel to pixel correlations and percentages of pixel numbers satisfying the condition that the dierences between CoMP and EIS spectroscopic quantities are within the EIS measurement accuracy: 3 kms1 for LOS Doppler velocity and 9 kms1 for non-thermal width. The main results are summarized as follows. By comparing CoMP and EIS Doppler velocity distributions, we nd that they are consistent with each other overall in the active regions and equatorial quiet region (0.25 CC 0.7), while they are partially similar to each other in the overlying loops of prominences and near the bottom of the polar plume (0.02 CC 0.18). CoMP Doppler velocities are consistent with the EIS ones within the EIS measurement accuracy in most regions ( 87% of pixels) except for the polar region (45% of pixels). We nd that CoMP and EIS non-thermal width distributions are similar overall in the active regions (0.06 CC 0.61), while they seem to be dierent in the others (0:1 CC 0.00). CoMP non-thermal widths are similar to EIS ones within the EIS measurement accuracy in a quiescent active region (79% of pixels), while they do not match in the other regions ( 61% of pixels); the CoMP observations tend to underestimate the widths by about 20% to 40% compared to the EIS ones. Our results demonstrate that CoMP observations can provide reliable 2-D LOS Doppler velocity distributions on active regions and might provide their non-thermal width distributions.
Even though we had a lot of obstacles to solve these issues, Jeju National University , Hokkaido University, Hawaii University, American Graduate School of the Paris, and University of Sydney have raised reparation topics through the Peace Island Forum, Peace Island Leadership School and Global Peace Bultuk Assemblies (Bultuk being a meeting place of Jeju woman divers surrounding stones at the sea side) since July of 2010. It was a cornerstone achievement that we presided over at "SOCIAL HEALING THROUGH JUSTICE: THE MASS KILLING OF KOREA JEJU ISLANDERS DURING U.S. PEACETIME OCCUPATION" with the University of Hawaii Law School and Hokkaido University together. Based on these gatherings we can start the Petition by Jeju people on Jeju Island Korea, which is calling for A JOINT SOUTH KOREA AND UNITED STATES JEJU 4.3 INCIDENT TASK FORCE TO FURTHER IMPLEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS AND FOSTER COMPREHENSIVE AND ENDURING SOCIAL HEALING THROUGH JUSTICE to advance the mutual interests of Jeju residents and the governments and people of South Korea and the United States ( March 27, 2014).
오이에서 가장 피해가 심한 해충인 목화진딧물과 꽃노랑총채벌레에 방제를 위하여 사용하고 있는 천적인 콜레마니진디벌과 미끌애꽃노린재에 대하여 노균병과 흰가루병 약제의 저독성을 평가하여 살균제와 동시에 활용한 목화진딧물과 꽃노랑총채벌레에 대한 천적의 방제효과를 조사하였다. 47종 살균제 중 DBEDC, hexaconazole, pyraclostrobin, tribasic copper sulfate, triflumizole, chlorothalonil, flusilazole, folpet, carbendazim+diethofencarb, cymoxanil+fenamidone, trifloxystrobin은 콜레마니진디벌 머미에 50% 이상의 독성을 보였고 저독성 살균제 중 azoxystrobin이 노균병과 흰가루병을 동시에 방제할 수 있어 천적과의 동시활용 약제로 선발하였다. 꽃노랑총채벌레와 목화진딧물은 천안과 공주에서 4월 상순 동시에 급격히 밀도가 증가하였고, azoxystrobin 50% 액상수화제를 10일간격으로 계속 방제 하면서 콜레마니진디벌을 진딧물 발생초기 1주간격 3회, 미끌애꽃노린재를 발생초기 1주간격 3회 방사 후 천적 밀도를 조사한 결과 목화진딧물과 꽃노랑총채벌레의 밀도를 억제하면서 콜레마니진디벌 머미는 하엽당 최대 18마리, 미끌애꽃노린재는 꽃당 0.5마리를 나타내어 azoxystrobin이 콜레마니진디벌과 미끌애꽃노린재의 밀도형성에 악영향을 주지 않았다. 시설오이에서 콜레마니진디벌과 미끌애꽃노린재에 안전한 선택약제와 천적을 동시 이용할 경우 효과적인 진딧물과 총채벌레 방제가 가능할 것이다.
Riptortus pedestris (F.) inflict losses on a wide range of crop plants. Biological control is an alternative approach to reduce the bean bug population. Scelionid Gryon japonicum (Ashmead) and Encyrtid Ooencyrtus nezarae Ishii are the major egg parasitoids of R. pedestris. The aggregation pheromone of R. pedestris serves as a kairomone to its egg parasitoids. A new tool was developed using aggregation pheromone in a trap which attracts both con-specific bugs and the parasitoids. Non viable host eggs were added with the trap so as to provide resource for the attracted parastioids to multiply. Several studies were conducted to develop this new tool for trapping of the bugs and enhancing parasitism simultaneously. Aggregation pheromone trap added with host eggs was found to increase temporal parasitism in field by 44% compared to the parasitism without host eggs. Higher parasitism (up to 91%) was found in the sites where aggregation pheromone trap added with host eggs was installed compared to control sites. In order to improve this tool, a new device with twelve sections to hold eggs and to be attached to the pheromone trap was designed to provide maximum exposure of the eggs to the parasitoids and to minimize the competition among the parasitoids. Parasitism and number of female R. pedestris trapped in new device attached trap were higher compared to the conventional. With better performance in trapping R. pedestris and enhancing parasitism, the tool would serve as an IPM technique that targets killing the pest and enhancing activity of the pest’s natural enemy simultaneously.
본 연구는 식품을 오염시켜 식중독을 유발하는 주요 식중독 세균인 Escherichia, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio, Listeria 등 5속의 병원성 세균들을 반복성 염기성열을 이용한 ERIC-PCR을 이용하여 동시에 동정할 때 이용되는 주요 PCR 반응성분인 MgCl_2, dNTPs, primer, template DNA의 최적 농도를 결정하였다. MgCl_2 반응성분은 2 mM을 적용하였을 때부터 일정한 fingerprinting pattern을 얻을 수 있었으므로 2 mM을 MgCl_2의 최적농도로 결정하였다. dNTPs의 농도는 250 μM까지 증가함에 따라서 6균주 모두 200 μM까지는 농도 증가와 비례하여 단편의 수와 강도가 점증하였으나 그 이상의 농도에서는 단편의 수와 강도가 일정하였다. 그러므로 일정한 fingerprinting pattern을 얻기 위하여 200 μM의 dNTPs만으로도 충분하였다. ERIC primer들은 2 μM의 농도를 적용했을 때부터 일정한 fingerprinting pattern을 나타낼 수 있었으며, 그 이상의 농도를 적용했을 때 단지 단편들의 강도만이 증가하였다. Template DNA도 다른 PCR 반응성분에 대한 실험과 마찬가지로 적용한 DNA양의 증가에 따라 단편의 강도가 증가하였다. 그러나 대부분의 적용 균주들에 대하여 DNA의 양이 최소일 때와 최대일 때 각각의 얻어진 fingerprinting pattern들을 비교할 때 단편의 수는 별 차이가 없었다.
Drug-eluting stents (DES) have reduced the rate of restenosis and the need for repeated revascularization of target lesions. However, in stent restenosis is still a major issue and very late stent thrombosis seems to occur more frequently with DES. Recently, incidence of stent thrombosis as a fatal complication has increased and dual antiplatelet therapy is recommended for at least 12 months after implantation. Here we report on a case of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction due to total occlusion caused by very late stent thrombosis and in stent restenosis simultaneously at 42 months after DES implanta-tion.
Sequencing Batch Reactor(SBR) experiments for organics and nutrients removal have been conducted to find an optimum anaerobic/anoxic/aerobic cycling time and evaluate the applicability of oxidation-reduction potential(ORP) as a process control parameter.
In this study, a 6 ℓ bench-scale plant was used and fed with night-soil wastewater in K city which contained TCODcr : 10,680 ㎎/ℓ, TKN : 6,893 ㎎/ℓ, NH_4^+ -N : 1,609 ㎎/ℓ, PO_4^3- -P : 602 ㎎/ℓ on average. The cycling time in SBRs was adjusted at 12 hours and 24 hours, and then certainly included anaerobic, aerobic and anoxic conditions. Also, for each cycling time, we performed 3 series of experiment simultaneously which was set up 10 days, 20 days and 30 days as SRT.
From the experimental results, the optimum cycling time for biological nutrient removal with night-soil wastewater was respctively 3hrs, 5hrs, 3hrs(anaerobic-aerobic-anoxic). Nitrogen removal efficiency was 77.9%, 77.9%, 81.7% for each SRT, respectively. When external carbon source was fed in the anoxic phase, ORP-bending point indicating nitrate break point appeared clearly and nitrogen removal efficiency increased as 96.5%, 97.1%, 98.9%. Phosphate removal efficiency was 59.8%, 64.5%, 68.6% for each SRT. Also, we finded the applicability of ORP as a process control parameter in SBRs.
