        Today, many companies will be isolated in competition if they do not have competitive power to overcome quick change and big crisis of market. Nowadays, globally high-grade companies have done their best for increasing their competitive power through a many kinds of methods in keen competition for making of pacesetting position. This study focuses on distribution with the domains like capacity, layout, amount of location, assignment of product, operation procedure and operation rule in order to improve these domains, we make a further application of eight analysis ways based on DMAIC method for improving operation of processes of distribution center as the third profit source. The purpose of this study is to seek an approach that can easily adopt of Lean Six Sigma in operational management of distribution center by a kind of data, analysis method and template.

        This paper considers a six sigma project for reducing the cost copper of the cable materials in a electric wire company. The project follows a disciplined process of five macro phases: define, measure, analyze, improve, and control (DMAIC). A process map is used to identify process input variables. Three key process input variables are selected by using an input variables are selected by using an input variable evaluation table: large cable, plating, and a twisted pair. DOE is utilized for finding the optimal process conditions of the three key process input variables. The implementing result of this six sigma project is enable for reducing of the 2.8% copper materials.

        Many companies desperately effort to find out more effective management method to survive in keen competition. Jack welch of past GE's CEO had said that an excellent result of today's GE management is thanks to Six sigma work. Many korean companies are introduced Six sigma method in their management since late 1993. Six sigma uses a set of strategies, statistics and methods to improve the processes we use to do everything from designing to manufacturing a product from marketing products and services to providing business information to our internal and external customers. The purpose of this study is to overcome these problems and to help make an important decision in establishing introduction strategy by abstracting the reasons and success factors and result indices which are important sources for introducing Six sigma management.

        Six sigma has been evolved into three generations. The first generation focused on eliminating or reducing defects as Motorola originally developed and applied. The second generation focused on reducing costs and improving process efficiency as GE extended the first generation. The next generation of six sigma such as D2MAIC(Discovery, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and ICRA(Innovate, Configure, Realize, Attenuate) has been discussed since the beginning of the 21st century. Although the third generation of six sigma emphasizes value creation, but there are few specific tools for its implementation. In this thesis, some tools for finding opportunities for value creation are suggested. It is explained and discussed with examples how the tools can be applied.

        This study deals with the improvement of production process on a flow production system with the consideration of six sigma. We analyze the production process and survey the important factors of improvement of productivity. Using a six sigma, we find strategic point and suggest a reformation of production process. We applied a simulation technique to simulate the production line proposed by the result of the Six sigma. With the result of the simulation, this study analyzes the propriety of production line and proposes the alternatives of new production process.

        This Purpose of this paper is to suggest the effects of success factors of six sigma on the management performance. This dissertation deal with key factors that led to successful implementation through existing literature. Therefore, this major success factors of six sigma revealed performance of cost reduction and improving quality. This study is empirical analysis the effects of six sigma performance of cost reduction and improving quality)on the management performance(profitability, growth, market value).         In most recent years, the business competition has spreads over all fields of corporations and their management area regardless of time and place, which makes the survival environment of each enterprise fiercer. In order to secure a high position in the competitive market, the various firms has implemented many methods related to price, quality, and service efficiency. However, the implementation with only low price or high quality might be helpless to hold a high position in modem market. Moreover more attention should be paid to the internal business processes of an organization. Therefore, a new and different method should be searched or developed in order to win the competitive power among other enterprises. This research will focus on the improvement of the business processes within the non-manufacturing industry by applying Lean Six Sigma methodology. DMAIC method will be applied to improve the inbound and outbound logistics processes, manage the inbound and outbound vehicles, and control the receiving and shipping activities.

        Nowadays, globally high-grade companies have done their best for increasing their competitive power through a many kinds of method in incisive competition for making certain of a pacesetting position. Among the rest, Six Sigma have been the best methodology of improving process and have proven to be effective by the result of improving process in many of manufacturing business, however, it has not obtained excellent results in the transaction business. In transaction business, a 30~50% costs in total costs is generated by slow-speed working and reworking. The slow processes decrease the quality and increase the cost, which decreases customer satisfaction, and finally the income is decreased. All of them are so called wastes in processes. For this, adopting of lean six sigma methodology in process management can eliminate the wastes and reduce the variation.         Since 1980's, many enterprises have constructed Strategy Information System and tried BPR, ISP. Also, they implemented ERP and practiced the Process Innovation and Six Sigma for Management Innovation in todays. Although most companies had previous good plans, but those are not satisfied. Because of failed to change management and continued next activity. Many Project for Process innovation are ended as disposal project in my case, if they want next project, they need a new plan which needs additional fund and resource. This paper studied Process Innovation and Six Sigma in many things and proposed new model for continued project on the master plan. Also it proposed next study subject about ERP Optimization and Harmonization after implemented ERP which is considered as next step of PI.

        Prior to Six Sigma, many companies had adopted a policy management method designed to manage business performances through the top-down deployment of management policies. This policy management method and the Six Sigma CTQ Flow Down will make a good combination when their merits are developed and systemized as the management innovation program which enables to set up innovation targets along with management targets in the stage of strategic planning and to participate all the personnel from top management down in achieving th targets.         This paper is to propose new features and models for process innovation after classifying in three categories ; conventional six sigma, lean six sigma and 3rd generation six sigma. First considering two project types which are bottom-up and tod-down, DMAIC process is linked up with QC story 15 steps. Secondly, I present Koreanized lean six sigma model using Japanese production technology and principles. Lastly, this paper also depicts a new 3rd generation six sigma model utilizing MBNQA management quality system.

        The ultimate objectives of the six sigma activities are to raise quality of products to the level where customers can be satisfied and to improve marketing efficiency through cost reduction. Recently, many businesses have been struggling to find out the most successful way to implement the six sigma to produce better results. This study is significant in a way that it provides readers with an actual evidence of efficiency and effectiveness of six sigma activities in marketing performance for the first time. The major data of this study can be divided into two categories ; First, secondary data research method was utilized to find out the effects of six sigma management on the quality and marketing performances, theoretically and empirically. Second, test of established hypotheses relevant to the effects of six sigma management on the quality and marketing performance based on the propositions drawn from existing literatures, and test hypotheses statistically. This study of six sigma looked into benefits in manufacturing industry in terms of improving quality, cutting cost and decreasing defection product-defect rate. In addition, the study has verified that how the quality performances can affect the marketing performances, such as enhancing corporate image, sales increase and customer satisfaction. The author believes that this study will help many businesses acquire best methods to increase sales and profits. And, business manager will be able to understand where to focus as they proceed with the six sigma project and improve corporate competitiveness.
