        본 연구에서는 저온 스트레스에서 살리실산(SA, salicylic acid)의 경엽처리가 배추의 광합성, 생리활성 및 생육에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 하였다. SA을 각각 0.25, 0.5 및 1mM 농도로 주당 100mL을 4일 간격으로 3회 엽면 살포하였고, 7일간 저온 스트레스를 처리하였다. SA 처리 시 광합성 속도, 기공전도도, 세포 내 CO2 농도 및 증산 속도는 무처리 대비 증 가하였고, 2회 처리 후 가장 높았다. MDA 함량은 무처리 대 비 유의한 차이를 보이며 감소하였다. APX, CAT, POD 및 SOD 활성은 무처리 대비 현저하게 증가하였으며, 각각 최대 62, 81, 55 및 26% 증가하였다. 배추의 생육 특성은 무처리와 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 수량 지수는 2-6% 정도 증 가하였다. 따라서 SA의 경엽처리는 배추의 생육, 광합성 특성 및 항산화 효소 활성을 증대시켜 저온 스트레스를 완화 하였 고, 적정농도는 0.5-1mM이라 판단된다.

        In this study, ester co-solvents and fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) were used as low-temperature electrolyte additives to improve the formation of the solid electrolyte interface (SEI) on graphite anodes in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Four ester co-solvents, namely methyl acetate (MA), ethyl acetate, methyl propionate, and ethyl propionate, were mixed with 1.0 M LiPF6 ethylene carbonate:diethyl carbonate:dimethyl carbonate (1:1:1 by vol%) as the base electrolyte (BE). Different concentrations were used to compare the electrochemical performance of the LiCoO2/ graphite full cells. Among various ester co-solvents, the cell employing BE mixed with 30 vol% MA (BE/MA30) achieved the highest discharge capacity at − 20 °C. In contrast, mixing esters with low-molecular-weight degraded the cell performance owing to the unstable SEI formation on the graphite anodes. Therefore, FEC was added to BE/MA30 (BE/MA30-FEC5) to form a stable SEI layer on the graphite anode surface. The LiCoO2/ graphite cell using BE/MA30-FEC5 exhibited an excellent capacity of 127.3 mAh g− 1 at − 20 °C with a capacity retention of 80.6% after 100 cycles owing to the synergistic effect of MA and formation of a stable and uniform inorganic SEI layer by FEC decomposition reaction. The low-temperature electrolyte designed in this study may provide new guidelines for resolving low-temperature issues related to LIBs, graphite anodes, and SEI layers.

        Perovskite-based solar cells have recently exhibited rapid improvement in power conversion efficiency due to their high optical and electrical properties. However, perovskite materials are fundamentally degraded by heat and moisture, making long-term stability a critical issue. One way to improve the stability of perovskite solar cells is to encapsulate them. However, a low temperature encapsulation process of less than 100 °C is needed to minimize degrading the perovskite materials. High moisture barrier properties are also required. To realize a high performance encapsulation layer at low temperature we employed atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique. As the encapsulation layer materials, Al2O3, which is most commonly used due to its high density and optical properties, and SnO2, which is mainly used as an electron transport layer in perovskite solar cells, were selected. Single film and multi-layer structured films of Al2O3 and SnO2 were deposited, and the structural, optical, and moisture permeability properties were investigated.

        본 연구는 작약의 품종간 개화시기 차이와 저온에서 장기 저 장이 가능한 품종을 선발하여 절화 유통 기간을 연장하기 위하 여 수행하였다. 작약 24품종을 대상으로 2022년 국립원예특작 과학원 시험포장에서 개화시기와 절화 품질을 조사하였다. 봉오 리 상태에서 수확한 작약을 건조 저장법으로 -1℃에서 60일 저장한 후 절화 수명과 절화품질을 조사하였다. ‘의성작약’은 홑 꽃이었고 나머지 품종은 겹꽃이었다. 개화시기는 5월 10일부터 18일 사이였으며, ‘Etched Salmon’, ‘Monsieur Jules Elie’, ‘Gilbert’, ‘Henry Bockstoce’는 개화일이 5월 10일로 가장 빨랐고, ‘Elsa Sass’는 5월 18일로 가장 늦었다. 식물체 키는 74.6∼107.8cm 였고, 절화 무게는 ‘Henry Bockstoce’ 품종 이 89.8g으로 가장 무거웠고, ‘Angel Cheeks’ 품종이 26.7g으 로 가장 가벼웠다. 꽃의 주된 색은 흰색, 빨강색, 분홍색, 자주색 이었다. -1℃에서 60일간 저장 후에 꽃과 잎의 상태가 아주 양 호한 품종은 ‘Kansas’, ‘Ole Faithful’, ‘Sonw Mountain’이 었다. 절화수명은 ‘Nick Shaylor’ 품종이 8일로 가장 길었고, 다음으로 ‘Blush Queen’, ‘Elsa Sass’ 품종이 7일이었으며, ‘Gilbert’, ‘Highlight’ 품종이 1일로 가장 짧았다. 작약은 저온 장기 저장에서 일부 품종을 제외하고는 꽃과 잎에 저온장해 증 상이 발생하였다. 이와같은 결과는 작약재배시에 품종 선택과 수확후 저온 장기 저장을 통하여 유통기간을 연장하고 하고자 할 때 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        벗초파리(Drosophila suzukii)는 베리류 작물, 체리, 포도 등에 심각한 수확량 손실을 입히는 해충이다. 잘 알려진 훈증제인 phosphine (PH3)과 ethylformate (EF)를 저온과 병합처리 하면 벗초파리의 살충효과가 상승되는데 그 원인을 규명하고자 본 연구에서는 TUNEL assay 를 이용한 apoptosis 분석과 이차원 전기영동(2DE) 및 MALDI-TOF/TOF를 통한 벗초파리 체내 단백질 변화를 분석하였다. Apoptosis 분 석 결과, 저온과 훈증제 복합 처리구, 각각의 훈증제와 저온 단독 처리구 순으로 apoptosis가 강한 경향을 보였다. 단백질 발현 분석 결과, 약 800 개의 spot이 관찰되어 그 중 가장 변화가 큰 42개의 spot을 동정한 결과, cathepsin D과 heat shock protein 83이 훈증제와 저온 복합처리군에 서 발현이 현저히 증가했다. 이러한 결과는 훈증제와 저온 복합처리에 의한 벗초파리의 살충효과 상승작용에 대한 생리학적 변화를 확인하는 중 요한 지표가 될 수 있다.

        Pure SnO2 has proven very difficult to densify. This poor densification can be useful for the fabrication of SnO2 with a porous microstructure, which is used in electronic devices such as gas sensors. Most electronic devices based on SnO2 have a porous microstructure, with a porosity of > 40%. In pure SnO2, a high sintering temperature of approximately 1300°C is required to obtain > 40% porosity. In an attempt to reduce the required sintering temperature, the present study investigated the low-temperature sinterability of a current system. With the addition of TiO2, the compositions of the samples were Sn1-xTixO2-CoO(0.3wt%)-CuO(2wt%) in the range of x ≤ 0.04. Compared to the samples without added TiO2, densification was shown to be improved when the samples were sintered at 950°C. The dominant mass transport mechanism appears to be grain-boundary diffusion during heat treatment at 950°C.

        누에씨는 매년 계대사육을 통해 자원을 보존하지만, 이 과정에서 잠종의 소실 및 혼합사고 등의 위험이 있어, 누에 유전자원의 효율적이고 안전한 장기보존법 개발이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 2년 동안 저온에 보관 된 누에 보급품종(백옥잠, 대황잠, 백황잠)과 누에 유전자원(n29, sa2, yang2)의 누에씨를 봄과 가을 사육기에 맞추 어 점진법을 사용하여 부화를 유도하였다. 부화된 누에씨의 부화비율과 함께 전령 경과기간, 화용비율, 전견중 등의 사육 성적을 조사하였다. 2년간 저온 보관된 누에씨의 부화비율은 보급품종에서 87~88%, 유전자원에서는 71~75%로 나타났다. 화용비율은 보급품종에서 79~89%, 유전자원에서는 71~79%로 조사되었다. 품종 지정 시 사육 성적과 비교해 볼 때, 부화비율, 화용비율, 번데기 무게, 고치무게 모두 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 2년 동안 저온에 보관된 후의 누에씨 부화기간은 1년 동안 저온에 보관된 누에씨보다 1~2일 더 길었다.

        겨울과 같은 환경에서 곤충은 생존과 번성을 위해 생리학적, 생화학적 및 행동적 메커니즘을 이용하고 있다. 대부분의 곤충은 생리학적 적응가운데 급속내한성(Rapid cold hardiness, RCH) 유기를 통해 기온이 급격히 낮아 지는 외부 환경에 대해 빠르게 적응하고 저온조건에서 생존율을 높인다. 열대거세미나방의 경우 행동적 메커니 즘을 통해 따뜻한 곳을 찾아 장거리 비행을 하며, 생존에 유리한 환경으로 이동한다. 본 연구에서는 열대거세미나 방의 생리적 월동능력과 RCH 능력에 관해 조사하였다. 그 결과, RCH에 의해 혈중 글리세롤의 농도가 증가와 체내빙결점이 하강하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, RCH(-10℃, 1h)에 노출된 2령 유충기를 대상으로 4령과 5령 유충기에 단기저온(5℃, 30min)에 노출 시 글리세롤 생합성에 관여하는 유전자(glycerol kinase 1, 2)의 발현이 RCH에 노출되지 않은 대조구와 비교하여 빠르게 발현되었다. 이는, 열대거세미나방의 유전자 수준에서 저온에 대한 단기기억이 존재하는 것을 제시한다.

        When a fire breaks out in a distribution center, it causes a lot of damage. And the most casualties are caused by Fire accidents. Therefore, training for fire prevention should be mandatory at the distribution center. Also, the contents of education should be different in room temperature warehouses and low temperature warehouses. Fire education in low-temperature warehouses should be more emphasized. This is because many fires occur in low-temperature warehouses. In this study, a study was conducted to determine the important order of training hours and contents for fire prevention education according to the type of distribution center. The importance of time and content for safety education in all types of warehouses did not differ significantly. It was first decided that safety prevention training should be conducted periodically in all types of warehouses

        Cars using diesel have always had problems with reducing exhaust fumes, and have been studied steadily in this regard. There were studies on the remanufacturing effect of DOC catalyst deactivated by diesel vehicle smoke reduction device, analysis of vehicle fire accident cases caused by damage to diesel vehicle smoke reduction device, and related studies on the remanufacturing effect of diesel vehicle smoke reduction device DPF. This study also developed a burner system in a smoke reduction device suitable for exhaust engines to completely burn smoke generated by institutions using diesel engines in low-temperature exhaust gases. Following the development of the existing high-performance heater, burner structure capable of maintaining ignition state in exhaust flow, pulsation generated by diesel engines, and exhaust flow control unit, the actual configuration, function and effect of the device, development contents, basic data and abnormalities of the vehicle, and comparison with other developed products.

        The operating parameters considered in this study include evaporating and condensing temperature, degree of subcooling and degree of superheating. in R744-R717 cascade refrigeration system and R744 two-stage compression refrigeration system with the range of low temperature -50℃∼-30℃. The coefficient of performance(COP) of R744-R717 cascade refrigeration system is about 16∼20% greater than that of R744 two-stage compression refrigeration system in the range of evaporation temperature of -50℃∼-30℃. R744 two-stage compression refrigeration system is unstable because its coefficient of performance changes significantly depending on the evaporating temperature and total compression work, and compression efficiency decreases. In this case, not efficient for long-term use. Whereas R744-R717 R744-R717 is a cascade refrigeration system using eco-friendly refrigerants. And this system is a high-efficiency refrigeration system that performs well even under various operating conditions. This is why it can be configured by selecting a refrigerant suitable for the high temperature side and the low temperature side.

        The sintering shrinkage behaviors of low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) and resistors were compared using commercial LTCC and thick-film resistor pastes, and factors influencing the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers were also investigated. The onset of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier than that of LTCC in all resistors, but the end of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier or later than that of LTCC depending on the composition of the resistor. The sintering shrinkage end temperature and the sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor increased as the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor increased. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was obtained using three different methods, all of which showed nearly identical trends. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was not affected by either the difference in linear shrinkage strain after sintering between LTCC and resistors or the similarity of sintering shrinkage temperature ranges of LTCC and resistors. However, it was strongly affected by the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor. The content of Ag and Pd had no effect on the sintering shrinkage end temperature or sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor, or on the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers.

        European and Turkish rice varieties were analysed to identify the traits associated with low-temperature germination. The aim of the study is to develop new rice varieties that can use these traits to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in rice fields. The average low temperature germination ratio (GR) in the European and Turkish rice varieties was 89.0±14.1%. The speed of the germination rate (SG) in Korean early maturing varieties, ‘Jopyeong’ and ‘Baekilmi’ was 1.3 and 3.5, respectively, whereas the European and Turkish varieties had a SG of 6.6. In terms of germination energy (GE) by the date, the European and Turkish varieties started germination within 4 days, while ‘Jopyeong’ and ‘Baekilmi’ began to germinate after 8 and 10 days, respectively. The mean germination time (MGT) for the European and Turkish varieties was 9.9±1.2 days. Between 4 to 10 days after inoculation, the germination velocity coefficient (GVC) for the European and Turkish varieties increased moderately from 2.6 to 5.3. After 10 days, the GVC rose rapidly from 7.0 to 12.0. ‘Jopyeong’ and ‘Baekilmi’ had slower germination rates compared to the European and Turkish varieties, in which the GVC increased moderately to 3.2 and 2.3, respectively, between 7 and 9 days after inoculation. The average mesocotyl elongation ability was 4.0±0.4 cm, with a range from 1.3 cm to 7.3 cm.

        PURPOSES : The number of snowfall and the amount of snowfall are gradually increasing, and due to the characteristics of Seoul, which has a lot of traffic, it is difficult to respond quickly with a snow removal method that relies on snow removal vehicles. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an IoT based eco-friendly snow removal system that can respond to unexpected heavy snow in winter. In this study, the low temperature operation and snow removal performance of the IoT road condition snow removal detector and the snow removal system using CNT and PCM are evaluated in the climatic environment chamber. METHODS : To make artificial snow, it consists of an climatic environment chamber that can simulate a low temperature environment and equipment that can supply compressed air and cold water. Depending on the usage characteristics of the climatic environment chamber, use an air-water type snow maker. In order to make artificial snow, wet temperature, which takes into account the actual air temperature and the amount of moisture in the air, acts as the most important variable and is suitable for making snow, below –1.5 ℃. The lower the water temperature, the easier it is to freeze, so the water source was continuously supplied at 0 ℃ to 4 ℃. One of the two different pipes is connected to the water tank to supply water, and the other pipe is connected to the compressor to supply high-pressure air. Water is dispersed by compressed air in the form of many small droplets. The sprayed microscopic water particles freeze quickly in the low temperature environmental climatic chamber air and naturally fall to the floor, forming snow. Based on the KS C IEC 60068-2-1 cold resistance test standard, an integrated environmental test procedure was prepared to apply to IoT-based snow removal systems and performance evaluation was performed accordingly. The IoT based eco-friendly snow removal system is needed to in winter, so visual check and inspect the operation at the climatic chamber before setting up it to the actual site. In addition, grid type equipment was manufactured for consistent and reliable snow removal performance evaluation under controlled environmental conditions. RESULTS : The IoT-based eco-friendly snow removal system normally carried out the task of acquiring data and images without damaging the appearance or freezing in a low temperature environment. It showed clear snow removal performance in areas where PCM and CNT heating technology were applied to the concrete slab. This experiment shows that normal snow removal tasks can be carried out in low temperature environments in winter. CONCLUSIONS : The integrated environmental test procedures and grid type evaluation equipment are applied to low temperature operation and snow removal performance evaluation of snow removal systems. In the climatic environment chamber, where low temperature environments can be simulated, artificial snow is created regardless of the season to derive quantitative experimental results on snow removal performance. PCM and CNT heating technology showed high snow removal performance. The system is expected to be applied to road site situations to preemptively respond to unexpected heavy snow in winter.

        In the automotive information display device industry, products with high reliability and wide temperature conditions are required, and interest in products that do not cause lighting defects even under extremely low temperature conditions is increasing. In this experiment, we produced an LED backlight unit for car navigation in a cryogenic environment. And to make this backlight unit, we used 12 side-emitting white LEDs with 3[W] high power LEDs. This backlight unit emits up to 18,000[nits] at a power consumption of 36[W] and has a startup voltage time of less than 1[ms] at -50° ambient temperature.
