        In this study, experimental research was carried out to evaluate and improve the constructability and structural performance of high strength R/C interior beam-column joints regions, with or without the shear reinforcement, using high ductile fiber-reinforced mortar. Specimens designed by retrofitting the interior beam-column joint regions of existing reinforced concrete building showed a stable mode of failure and an increase in load-carrying capacity due to the effect of enhancing dispersion of crack control at the time of initial loading and bridging of fiber from retrofitting new high ductile materials during testing.

        For coupled shear walls, coupling beams are the first line of dissipation under earthquakes. So coupling beams are important energy dissipation component. When coupling beams have little depth-to-span ratio, routine coupling beams have less capacity of energy dissipation.There are less design methods for coupling beams with depth-to-span less than 2. In this paper a specimen with steel plate reinforcement coupling beam was designed and analyzed by means of FEM software ABAQUS.

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the seismic performance of high-performance steel. For this study, the hysteretic behavior and deformation shape of steel beam-to-column connections with SM570TMC was investigated using non-linear finite element analysis. The non-linear finite element analysis was carried out using ANSYS. The displacement analysis of steel beam-to-column connections was conducted according to the qualifying procedures of current korean building code(KBC2009).

        In this study, experimental research was carried out to evaluate the structural performance of the reinforced concrete beam retrofitted by strengthening methods(embedded FRP rod of hexagon, metal fittings) in existing reinforced concrete buildings. Test results showed that the maximum load carrying capacity of retrofitted specimens(BCR, BCR-AC1, BCR-AC2) were increased by 55%, 47%, and 52% respectively in comparison with the standard specimen BSS.

        In this study, experimental research was carried out to study the high strength RC exterior beam-column joints regions, without the shear reinforcement, using high ductile fiber-reinforced mortar. Test results showed that specimen BCJNSP1.0 were increased th maximum load-carrying capacity and showed stable hysteresis behavior and satisfactory crack pattern in comparison with th specimen BCJNS without shear reinforcement in the beam-column joint region.

        FRP has higher design tensile strength than steel bar and outstanding characteristics such as light-weight, non-corrosion, and lower conductivity. And, current researchers evaluated flexural performances of flexural members using FRP and suggested the development length and splice length by using bonding failure test. This Researchers has the main purpose to examine the quality of bonding failure in the lap spliced FRP and deformed bar. Variables in this test with total 208 specimens planned are re-bar location, embedment length, covering depth, re-bar diameter. And, this study describes the result of our review on the bonding strength of the lap-spliced FRP and the deformed bar located at the bottom.

        Amorphous metal fibers can improve the brittleness of concrete and enhance the shear and tensile strength of reinforced concrete (RC) members. A series of experimental studies RC composite beams with amorphous metal fiber composites were conducted, and it was shown that the RC beam with amorphous metal fiber composites could give improved flexural responses to compare with the reinforced concrete beam.

        In this study, the flexural test were carried out on a total eighteen reinforced concrete beams with different steel connection. From the results, reinforced concrete of not spliced showed higher ultimate loads and cracking loads than other specimens. Also the ultimate load of reinforced of parallel(tapered) threaded coupler is almost equal to that of lap spliced.

        This paper describes the flexural performance of concrete and strain-hardening cement based composite (SHCC) beams reinforced with normal and high-strength steel bar to evaluate the effect of reinforcing bar strength and cement composite type. The present investigation shows the potential of high-strength structure materials used of high-strength reinforcing bars with SHCC.         In this study, it was developed eco-friendly geopolymer concrete using ground granulated blast furnace slag and alkali activator(water glass, sodium hydroxides).         Bond characteristic between lightweight concrete and helically deformed GFRP bar was investigated in this study.
