        Some researchers suggested that bolt slippage occurred in column-tree connection type. In this paper, bolt slippage was evaluated on different depth of beam. When the length of beam set 7,500 mm equally, three depth of beams was 600, 500, 400mm, respectively. Also, column size of all specimens was same, and panel zones was strongly reinforced to evaluate bolt slippage in beams. As a result of full-scale testing, the bolt slippage of all specimens was occurred within plastic rotation ± 2.0%. It was showed that the effect of bolt slippage on depth of beam was slight.

        Ultimate behaviors such as ultimate strength and fracture mechanism of fillet-welded connections with TIG(tungsten inert gas) welding have been investigated through test results. Main variables of specimens are weld length and welding direction against loading and ultimate strengths were compared according to the variables. Ultimate strengths were compared with current design predictions and modified design equations were proposed to consider the strength difference according to welding direction.

        In the nuclear power plant, safety-related structures have been used above No. 11 rebar. It needs to mechanical connection device to join RC to SC walls because ACI 349 presents that lap splices shall not be used for bars larger than No.11 bar. The performance tests were performed to confirm structural integrity on connection of RC to SC using a mechanical connection device. But performing the tests in accordance with various connection cases has limitations, such as time or cost. Therefore, computational analysis methodology is developed in order to verify structural integrity for various connection cases.

        최근 도심지에 건설되는 건축물의 초고층화는 기둥에 작용하는 하중을 증가시켜 기둥단면 증가와 사용면적 확보의 어려움을 발생 시키고 있다. 이에 최근에는 CFT와 같은 합성기둥의 사용이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 CFT 기둥의 경우 폐단면으로 이루어져 있어 보- 기둥 접합부 개발의 어려움과 성능저하의 문제가 발생하게 된다. 특히, 원형CFT 기둥과 외다이아프램을 이용한 접합상세 개발의 연구가 미비 한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 Y형 플레이트를 적용한 원형 CFT 기둥-H형강 보 접합부 접합상세를 개발하여 Y형 플레이트를 적용한 접합 부 구조성능에 영향을 미치는 Y형 플레이트 폭 및 두께를 주요변수로 설정하여 실험을 통해 구조성능을 평가하였다. 또한 실험체에 사용된 Y 형 플레이트는 설계기준에 제시된 장기허용인장력이 Y형 플레이트에 접합된 인장 측 플랜지의 축방향력 이하가 되도록 설계하여 파괴형태를 통해 Y형 플레이트의 구조적 안전성과 성능을 확인하고자 한다.

        This study investigates the ultimate strength and curling influence in single shear bolted connection with 7075-T6 aluminum alloys using numerical approach. The applicability of finite element analysis was validated through the comparison between existing test results and numerical predictions. Curling was observed in some specimens with a relatively long end distance and reduced the ultimate strength of bolted connection. Strength reduction ratio by curling was estimated quantitatively and it is known that curling caused the strength reduction by maximum 21%.

        Austenitic stainless steels have excellent corrosion resistance, durability, aesthetic appeal, fire resistance etc. compared with ferritic stainless steels and so especially 304 stainless steels have been utilized widely in the exterior member of building structure.         The result of structural performance evaluation about circular CFT column-H shape steel beam which was performed as in previous study, even though we designed the Y type plate tension as below the axial force which was under design criteria, the flexure of steel beam was happened. For these reasons, in this study, to figure out the time of connections failure and the minimum value of parameters in order to evaluate the performance of advanced Y type plate in detail.

        본 연구는 철근콘크리트 기둥과 철골보로 이루어진 RCS합성구조에서 내부접합부의 전단강도에 관한 연구이다. 새로운 건물 구조시스템인 합성구조 시스템은 철근콘크리트 기둥과 철골보의 장점을 최대한 살린 구조로서 경제적, 실용적인 접합부 상세들이 많이 개발되어 왔다. 그럼에도 불구하고 접합부에 대한 구조적 거동 및 응력전달기구가 명확히 밝혀지지 않고 있으며 여전히 제안된 식들로부터 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 접합부에서 철골보가 철근콘크리트 기둥을 관통하는 보 관통형 RCS 구조체를 대상으로 하여 기존의 전단파괴 실험체 37개를 접합부 형태에 따라 기존에 제안된 5개의 주요식들에 적용하였다. 회기분석을 통한 각 제안식의 신뢰성을 검증하였고, 기존식들의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 전단강도 추정식을 제안하였다.

        In this Study, the performance of the connection of Transfer-beam system suggested in the previous study was evaluated by the quasi-static test. The test model was applied to Top and Seat Angle Connection and modified SAC Protocol. The performance of the connection obtained by quasi-static test was shown in P-Δ and M-θ curve graph.

        Finite element analysis is conducted for investigation of structure behavior of high strength concrete(HSC) column-normal strength concrete(NSC) slab connection according to aspect ratio(h/c). Analysis method is verified through comparison of experiment and analysis. As a result, regarding to the aspect ratio, the ultimate strength of column-slab connection decreased as the column dimension increased while the slab thickness did not influence on the ultimate strength of the connection.

        In this study, four reinforced concrete beam-column joints, replacing recycled materials with hybrid fiber were constructed and tested under monotonic loading. Experimental programs were carried out to improve and evaluate the seismic performance of such test specimens, such as the load-displacement, the failure mode, and the maximum load carrying capacity. All the specimens were modeled in 1/2 scale-down size.

        Connection details for RC column-steel beam (RCS) moment frames were developed to improve the productivity and constructability. To strengthen the beam-column joint, transverse beams, studs, and U-cross ties were used. Four 2/3 scale interior RCS connections were tested under cyclic lateral loading. The specimens generally exhibited good deformation capacity exceeding 4.0% story drift ratio. Ultimately, the specimens failed due to bearing failure of concrete and shear failure of the joint panel.

        This paper presents a novel bolt-loosening detection technique using image information of bolted connections in the steel bridge. The technique consists of 5 steps: (1) taking a picture for a bolted joint, (2) converting to binary image, (3) extracting individual nuts, (4) extracting outlines of the nuts, and (5) identifying rotation angles of the nuts and detecting bolt-loosening. The applicability of the proposed technique is evaluated by experimental tests with several bolt-loosening scenarios.

        In this study, experimental research was carried out to improve the seismic performance of reinforced concrete exterior beam-column joint regions using replacing recycled coarse aggregate with hybrid fiber (steel fiber+PVA fiber) in existing reinforced concrete building. Therefore it was constructed and tested seven specimens retrofitting the beam-column joint regions using such retrofitting materials. Specimens, designed by retrofitting the beam-column joint regions of reinforced concrete building, were showed the stable failure mode and increase of load-carrying capacity due to the effect of crack control at the times of initial loading and bridge of retrofitting hybrid fiber during testing. Specimens BCJGPSR series, designed by the retrofitting of replacing recycled coarse aggregate with hybrid fiber in reinforecd beam-column joint regions were increased its maximum load carrying capacity by 1.01~1.04 times and its energy dissipation capacity by 1.06~1.29 times in comparison with standard specimen BCJS. Also, specimen BCJGPSR1 were increased its energy dissipation capacity by 1.33~1.65 times in comparison with specimens BCJS, BCJP and BCJGPR series for a displacement ductility of 9.

        In this study, experimental research was carried out to evaluate and improve the seismic performance of reinforced concrete beam-column joint regions using strengthening materials (CFRP sheet, AFRP sheet, embedded CFRP rod) in existing reinforced concrete structure. Therefore it was constructed and tested seven specimens retrofitting the beam-column joint regions using such retrofitting materials. Specimens, designed by retrofitting the beam-column joint regions of existing reinforced concrete structure, were showed the stable failure mode and increase of load-carrying capacity due to the effect of crack control at the times of initial loading and confinement of retrofitting materials during testing. Specimens LBCJ-CRUS, designed by the retrofitting of CFRP Rod and CFRP Sheet in reinforecd beam-column joint regions were increased its maximum load carrying capacity by 1.54 times and its energy dissipation capacity by 2.36 times in comparison with standard specimen LBCJ for a displacement ductility of 4 and 7. And Specimens LBCJ-CS, LBCJ-AF series were increased its energy dissipation capacity each by 2.04~2.34, 1.63~3.02 times in comparison with standard specimen LBCJ for a displacement ductility of 7.

        In this paper, the RC column-based joint connection part carry out loading test by reinforced hollow or extended Base Plate in order to confirm that RC joint punching shear reinforcement effect of applying the Base Plate. Base Plate thickness, extension length, size, and type as the variable, Base Plate suitable for the stress distribution and shape and dimensions confirmed through experiment and then reinforcing effect was analyzed. Experimentally, vertical load transmitted to the Base Plate from column to foundation is effective to stress distribution and then, type of hollow reinforcement more efficient than a closed. Through experiment, improve performance and ductility due to reinforcement and relative to the thickness of the existing foundation reduced even showed better performance than the existing. The behavior of the reinforced specimens be able to induce from brittle to ductile. Experiment on loading to destroy performed the pattern of cracks, destruction aspect before and after reinforcement.
