        The Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer (SPHEREx) will provide all-sky spectral survey data covering optical to mid-infrared wavelengths with a spatial resolution of 6.′′2, which can be widely used to study galaxy formation and evolution. We investigate the galaxy-galaxy blending in SPHEREx datasets using the mock galaxy catalogs generated from cosmological simulations and observational data. Only ∼0.7% of the galaxies will be blended with other galaxies in all-sky survey data with a limiting magnitude of 19 AB mag. However, the fraction of blended galaxies dramatically increases to ∼7–9% in the deep survey area around the ecliptic poles, where the depth reaches ∼22 AB mag. We examine the impact of the blending in the number count and luminosity function analyses using the SPHEREx data. We find that the number count can be overestimated by up to 10–20% in the deep regions due to the flux boosting, suggesting that the impact of galaxy-galaxy blending on the number count is moderate. However, galaxy-galaxy blending can marginally change the luminosity function by up to 50% over a wide range of redshifts. As we only employ the magnitude limit at Ks-band for the source detection, the blending fractions determined in this study should be regarded as lower limits.

        An important segment, tourism e-commerce live streaming (TEcLS) has emerged as a new marketing channel actively embraced by destination marketing organizations (DMO) and tourist firms due to the COVID-19 pandemic. China, Japan, Australia, and many other nations have been selling such tourism products on various platforms. Live e-commerce generates a real-time interactive virtual environment that can be called a livescape. However, many tourism destinations or companies are unaware of the marketing science implications of live streaming and are unsure of their effectiveness or the intricacies of marketing live streaming. Previous research has explored the factors influencing consumer purchase behavior from the product, technology, and live-streamer perspectives, arguing that the advantages of breaking through time and space constraints, strong interactivity, the experience of reality, technological ease of use and usefulness, and celebrity aura encourage online purchases. However, limited investigation has been carried out on the impact of customers’ value-co-creation in livescape when watching tourism live streaming on their purchase intentions considering the key role of engagement. This calls for specific investigation of the phenomenon to facilitate live streaming design and tourism marketing. This study aims to explores the factors influencing consumer purchase intentions in the livescape based on a value co-creation research framework. Compared to traditional e-commerce, livescapes provides the “many-to-many” social presence and an immersive value co-creation platform. Thus, we focus on why and how social presence inspires customer engagement, ultimately leading to purchase intentions. This study finds that, as a crucial marketing tool, the social presence of tourism livescapes can promotes customer engagement, which in turn results in intentions to purchase tourism live-streaming products. Additionally, the mediating role of inspiration (inspired-by and inspired-to) between social presence and customer engagement is examined to reveal the influence mechanism in the tourism context. Finally, this study examines how to create an effective tourism livescape to enhance tourists social presence experience and inspire their engagement, which in turn increases their purchase intention.

        This study evaluated cell viability and cytokine release in immortalized human oral fibroblasts (hTERT-hNOFs) and keratinocytes (IHOK) exposed to a dental-impregnated gingival retraction cord. To prepare the extracts, dental gingival retraction cords impregnated with aluminum chloride hexahydrate were immersed in a cell culture medium for 24 h at 37 °C. hTERT-hNOFs and IHOK were cultured for 24 h. The cell culture medium was removed and extracts of the dental gingival retraction cords were added. After incubation with the extract solution, cell viability was evaluated using an MTT assay. The levels of the cytokines IL-1α and IL-8 were measured in the supernatants of each cell type. The cell viability after exposure to the extract solution for 10 min exceeded 70 % in both cell types. The ET50 values for hTERT-hNOF and IHOK were 35.75 and 28.98 min, respectively. For IHOK, the IL-1α level was (5.35 ± 5.22) pg/mL at 10 min, (3.58 ± 5.38) pg/mL at 20 min, and (2.85 ± 4.28) pg/mL at 60 min of exposure (p > 0.05). The IL-8 level in IHOK was (67.16 ± 18.70) pg/mL at 10 min, (78.36 ± 7.50) pg/mL at 20 min, and (111.9 ± 26.10) pg/mL at 60 min of exposure (p > 0.05). Cytokine release was not observed from hTERThNOFs. Based on these results, cell viability and cytokine release were confirmed in cells exposed to the impregnated gingival retraction cord. In addition, the application of the extracts to hTERT-hNOF and IHOK during the actual contact time and determination of ET50 may be beneficial for evaluating the biocompatibility of dental-impregnated gingival retraction cords.

        Barrier options are path-dependent options, and their return depends not only on the price of the underlying asset on the expiry date but also on whether the underlying asset reaches the prescribed barrier level during the contract's validity period. This paper mainly studies the barrier option pricing problem under the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck equa-tion model under an uncertain environment. Assuming that the stock price obeys the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck equation model, the pricing formulas of four European barrier options are derived. Finally, several numerical examples are used to verify the effectiveness of the model.

        본 연구는 다국적기업 해외 자회사 내 해외 주재원의 사회적 참여와 문화적 차별이 현지 직원의 이직 의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 메커니즘을 연구하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구의 가설을 테스트하기 위해 중국에 있는 19개 해외 다국적기업 자회사에 근무하는 495명의 중국 현지 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 이를 활용하여 구조방정식 모델을 실시한 결과, 현지 직원의 승진 가능성은 해외 주재원의 사회적 참여와 현지 직원의 이직 의도 사이 관계를 완전 매개한다. 업무 자율성은 해외 주재원의 문화적 차별과 사회적 참여가 현지 직원의 이직 의도에 미치는 영향에 대해 부분적 매개 효과를 가진다는 결과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 다국적기업의 해외 주재원이 현지 직원의 이직 의도에 미치는 영향을 주재원의 사회적 참여와 문화적 차별로 나누어 심층 분석하였다는데 그 학문적 의의를 가진다.

        인재 확보 전쟁은 선진국에서만 확산되는 것이 아니라 개발도상국에도 더욱 심각해지고 있다. 금전적인 요소와 커리어 요소가 중국 지원의 이직 의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 예측하기가 어렵다. 중국 배경에 진행한 선행연구의 애매모호한 결과를 설명하기 위해 본 논문은 국유기업(SOEs)와 외자 기업(FOEs)을 비교 및 분석하자고 한다. Crossvergence 이론을 적용하여 본 연구는 SOEs와 FOEs는 서로 다른 “새로운” 문화적 가치에 따라 인사제도가 이직 의도 미치는 영향이 다르다고 제시한다. 26개 회사에 중첩된 406명 직원에 대한 설문조사를 통해 수집된 데이터로 다층 선형모델(HLM) 분석한 결과에서 SOE와 FOE는 상당한 차이점을 보인다. 성과급제는 실제로 SOE에서 이직 의도를 증가시키지만, FOE에서는 감소시킨다. 또한, 직원이 인식한 커리어 기회는 FOE에서 이직 의도에 더 강한 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 향후 다국적 기업들이 중국에서 인재 확보 전략에 있어서 이론적 및 실천적 시사점을 제시한다.

        The proportion of collision in the total marine accidents is high. The main causes of collisions are navigation rule violation, safety speed violation, neglected watch-keeping and improper collision avoidance action. There are two main ways of avoiding collision situations during maritime navigation: the method of altering course and reducing ship’s speed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the result of the collision avoidance action of the reserve officer in case of encountering a multiple number of ships using the ship handling simulator. Full-mission ship handling simulator was used to experiment the situation scenarios that encountered multiple ships. After the experiment, the questionnaire about the experiment was investigated. A total of 50 subjects were participated in the experiment. Experimental results showed that the number of the experimenters who used the engine was 11 and the number of the experimenters who did not use the engine was 39. In the case of using the engine, there were 0 collision accident, 1 grounding accident, and 10 no accidents. However, when the engine was not used, there were 28 collision accidents, 2 grounding accidents, and 9 no accidents. The causes of these results can be found in the survey results. 74 % of the non used engine participants said they were hesitate to use the engine. As can be seen from these results, the reserve officer are hesitant to use the engine and need a way to get correct of it. Maritime course subject can emphasize the importance of using ship’s engines and case study also can be it. So, It is considered that various case study scenario will need to developed by various tools in the future.

        We report the use of carrot, a new and inexpensive biomaterial source, for preparing high quality carbon dots (CDs) instead of semi-conductive quantum dots for bioimaging application. The as-derived CDs possessing down and up-conversion photoluminescence features were obtained from carrot juice by commonly used hydrothermal treatment. The corresponding physiochemical and optical properties were investigated by electron microscopy, fluorescent spectrometry, and other spectroscopic methods. The surfaces of obtained CDs were highly covered with hydroxyl groups and nitrogen groups without further modification. The quantum yield of as-obtained CDs was as high as 5.16%. The cell viability of HaCaT cells against a purified CD aqueous solution was higher than 85% even at higher concentration (700 μg mL−1) after 24 h incubation. Finally, CD cultured cells exhibited distinguished blue, green, and red colors, respectively, during in vitro imaging when excited by three wavelength lasers under a confocal microscope. Offering excellent optical properties, biocompatibility, low cytotoxicity, and good cellular imaging capability, the carrot juice derived CDs are a promising candidate for biomedical applications.

        Deregulation of electricity market has brought new business opportunities for electricity suppliers. As of 2011, there are around 60 electricity retailers in the Danish market competing against each other (Yang, 2013). Thus, Danish households have the opportunities to choose different electricity services, green electricity services vs. the conventional brown electricity (generated from fossil fuels) service. However, statistics have indicated that the movement of electricity market deregulation has produced little effect on Danish consumers in terms of switching among suppliers or renegotiating an existing service contract (Yang, 2014). Unfortunately, evidences from the actual market show that the penetration of green electricity remains very low (Yang, 2013). This is bad, because Denmark’s long-term energy goal is to become a fossil fuel independent nation by 2050. The study divided a sample 1022 respondents into two nearly equal sized sub-samples chosen from an Internet Panel administrated by a commercial marketing research firm. One subsample received a positive frame version of the questionnaire regarding subscribing to a green electricity contract, and the other subsample received a negative frame version of the questionnaire. The selected sample reflects the Danish population structure in terms of the major socio-economic variables such as gender and age. Contingent valuation (CV) method was used to value the households’ willingness to subscribe a green electricity service contract (Alberini & Kahn, 2006). As expected, consumers displayed stronger intention to buy green electricity when the situation was framed in a positive maner (i.e., most Danish households have already bought it), as compared to the situation was framed in a negative manaer. The theoretical explaning can be formulated in terms of the theory of social norms. The framing effect also signals the public good side of green electricity in that there seems to be a free rider problem. The relatively low intention to buy green electricity in the negative frame manner (i.e., a few Danish household has bought green electricity) indicates that the free-rider incentive is particularly powerful in large group, where an indivudal may percived that her or his behavior will have only little influence on the collective outcome (Olsen, 1970). The results confimrs the finding from (Ek & Söderholm, 2008).

        Western flower thrips, (Pergande) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) have been recognized as serious pests worldwide. Commercially available chemical pesticides challenges against the resistance of the pest and safety to consumers. Herein we investigated the usability of soil-treatment of entomopathogenic Beauveria bassiana (Bb) ERL isolates in tomatoes. Bb-egfp was highly virulent to western flower thrips in laboratory conditions and colonized in soil, which provided a chance for western flower thrips larvae to contact the colonized fungal mass. In a glasshouse trial, Bb ERL836 and Bb ERL1578 granule (GR) were applied to soil surface and mixed well, and five females were infested to each pot of tomato 3 days after the application. The two treatments significantly reduced thrips population in tomatoes 20 and 40 days post applications, comparable to the control efficacy of clothianidin granule (GR) formulation. In the following field trial, the two ERL fungal treatments showed 69.2% and 61.5% of control efficacy, which were similar to that of clothianidin GR (76.9%). This work suggests that applied B. bassiana colonized in soil well and thrips larvae easily contacted the fungal mass, which possibly enabled the control strategy to be alternative way to the chemical control.

        We apply differential affine velocity estimator (DAVE) to the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO)/Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) 12-min line-of-sight magnetograms, and separately cal- culate the injected magnetic helicity for the leading and the following polarities of nine emerging bipolar active regions (ARs). Comparing magnetic helicity ux of the leading polarity with the following polarity, we nd that six ARs studied in this paper have the following polarity that injected more magnetic helicity ux than that of the leading polarity. We also measure the mean area of each polarity in all the nine ARs, and nd that the compact polarity tend to possess more magnetic helicity ux than the fragmented one. Our results con rm the previous studies on asymmetry of magnetic helicity that emerging bipolar ARs have a polarity preference in injecting magnetic helicity. Based on the changes of unsigned magnetic ux, we divide the emergence process into two evolutionary stages: (1) an increasing stage before the peak ux and (2) a constant or decreasing stage after the peak ux. Obvious changes on magnetic helicity ux can be seen during transition from one stage to another. Seven ARs have one or both polarity that changed the sign of magnetic helicity ux. Additionally, the prevailing polarity of the two ARs, which injects more magnetic helicity, changes form the following polarity to the leading one.

        A-7-month-old, intact male Shih-Tzu dog was referred with facial dermatitis and stifle pain with 7 days duration. Erythema, hemorrhage, and crusted nodular lesions of the face, swollen eyelids, and otitis externa were observed. A painful response was noted on palpation of the right stifle joint. Impression smears and skin biopsies revealed pyogranulomatous inflammation consistent with canine juvenile cellulitis (CJC). Skin lesions and pain were greatly improved following immunosuppressive corticosteroid therapy. This report firstly describes clinical and histopatho- logical findings as well as treatment responses of CJC in a 7-month-old, domestic dog.

        In this work, effects of carbon matrix on sliding friction and wear behavior of four kinds of C/C have been investigated against 40 Cr steel ring mate. Composite A with rough lamination carbon matrix (RL) shows the highest volume loss and coefficient of friction, while composite D with smooth lamination/resin carbon matrix (SL/RC) shows the lowest volume loss. The worn surface of composite A appears smooth, whereas that of composite C with smooth lamination carbon (SL) appears rough. The worn surface of composite D appears smooth under low load but rough under high load. Atomic force microscope images show that the size of wear particles on the worn surface is also dependent on the carbon matrix.

        Somatic cells such as oviduct epithelial cell, uterine epithelial cell, cumulus-granulosa cell and buffalo rat river cell has been used to establish an effective culture system for bovine embryos produced in in vitro. But nitric oxide (NO) metabolites secreted from somatic cells were largely arrested the development of bovine in vitro matured/ in vitro fertilized (IVM/IVF) embryos, suggesting that NO was induced the embryonic toxic substance into culture medium. The objective of this study was to investigate whether BOEC co-culture system can ameliorate the NO-mediated oxidative stress in the culture of bovine IVM/IVF embryos. Therefore, we evaluated the developmental rate of bovine IVM/IVF embryos under BOEC co-culture system in the presence or absence of sodium nitroprusside (SNP), as a NO donor, and also detected the expression of growth factor (TGF-p , EGF and IGFBP) and apoptosis (Caspase-3, Bax and Bcl-2) genes. The supplement of SNP over 5 uM was strongly inhibited blastocyst development of bovine IVM/IVF embryos than in control and 1 uM SNP group (Table 2). The developmental rates beyond morulae stages of bovine IVM/IVF embryos co-cultured with BOEC regardless of SNP supplement (40.4% in 5 uM SNP+ BOEC group and 65.1% in BOEC group) were significantly increased than those of control (35.0%) and SNP single treatment group (23.3%, p<0.05: Table 3). The transcripts of Bax and Caspase-3 genes were detected in all experiment groups (1:Isolated fresh cell (IFC), 2:Primary culture cell (PCC), 3:PCC after using the embryo culture, 4: PCC containing 5 uM SNP and 5: PCC containing 5 uM SNP after using the embryo culture), but Bcl-2 gene was not detected in IFC and PCC (Fig. 1). In the expression of growth factor genes, TGF-p gene was found in all experimental groups, and EGF and IGFBP genes were not found in IFC and PCC (Fig. 2). These results indicate that BOEC co-culture system can increase the development beyond morula stages of bovine IVM/IVF embryos, possibly suggesting the alleviation of embryonic toxic substance like nitric oxide.
