        본 논문은 적재설비의 바닥 구속조건에 따른 안전성을 평가하고자 한다. 평가를 위해서 국내에서 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 파렛트랙을 대상구조물로 선정하여 진동대 실험을 진행하였다. 진동대 실험을 위한 적재설비의 바닥 구속조건을 총 4가 지(1 bolt, 2 bolts, 4 bolts, Fixed)로 구분하여 진행하였다. 실험은 인공지진파를 증가시켜가며 진행하였고, 각 층별에서의 변위응답과 영구변형을 비교하였다. 이에 따른 실험 결과, 지진 강도에 따라 기둥 바닥의 구속조건을 달리 적용하는 것이 필요하다.

        이 연구에서는 사장교 및 현수교에 부착된 지진가속도계측기를 활용하여 교량의 안전성을 긴급하게 평가할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 실측된 지진가속도계측기의 상시 응답을 이용하여 구조해석 모델의 고유주파수와 비교를 통해 최대한 유사한 동적특성을 갖도록 모델링을 개선한다. 설계지진에 대한 지진해석을 수행하여 지진가속도계측기 설치 위치별 최대 변위를 도출하며, 도출된 변위는 사전에 관리기준치로서 시스템에 기 입력된다. 지진발생 시 실시간으로 측정된 가속도 시간이력을 필터링 후 2중적분을 통해 변위시간이력으로 변환한 뒤 최대 변위를 추출한다. 최종적으로 시스템에 기 입력된 관리기준치와 추출된 변위와의 비교를 통해 안전성을 평가한다. 경주지진 시 기록된 데이터를 활용한 12개 특수교량의 긴급 안전성평가 수행을 통해 제안된 방법의 적용성을 확인한다.

        The numerical model was developed to estimate the transient behavior of pressure waves in pipe systems. The computational algorithm was proposed to model the water hammer phenomenon in a pipe system with pump shutdown at midstream and sudden valve closure at downstream. To predict the pressure head and the flow velocity as a function of time as a result of rapidly closing a valve and pump shutdown, two boundary conditions at the ends considering pump operation and valve control can be implemented as specified equations of the pressure head and flow velocity based on the characteristics method. It was shown that the effects of transient flow make it determine the needs for protection devices, such as surge tanks, surge relief valves, or air valves, at various points in the system against overpressure and low pressure. It produced reasonably good performance with the results of the proposed transient model for pipeline systems. The proposed numerical model can be used as an efficient tool for the safety assessment of hydropower plants due to water hammer.

        In this study, hydrological safety assessment on dam facilities was estimated using dam hydrological safety evaluation result and in-depth inspection assessment result and considering climate change scenario. Hydrological safety assessment of the existing dam was performed by calculating the PMP/PMF using the climate change scenario. In this study, it was evaluated hydrological safety assessment of existing dam considering climate change scenario(RCP 8.5).

        According to the revised version of Waste Control Act to enter into force in 2017, Wastes could only be recycled assuming that the use of recycled wastes is safe for the environment and human health by environmental safety assessment. Even before this revision of the law, inorganic sludges could have been recycled as alternative materials for filler and cover materials by mixing with soil. However, in case of inorganic sludge from car-washing facilities, the revised law provides that the waste has to be landfilled. To assess the possibility of recycling this waste, we investigate the characteristics of the generation and concentration level of hazardous substances and evaluate the safety of recycling this material to assess whether this process meets the environmental standards. We obtained a total of eight sludge samples from car-wash shops, such as those in gas stations, car-repair shops and car-wash facilities. According to the results of leaching tests, most of the samples(8) fell under the detection limit and thus could be legally treated as general waste. However, in the results of contents some heavy metals, such as hexavalent chromium, lead, copper and zinc, exceeded the standards for soil contamination. We can conclude that the recycling of inorganic sludge from car-wash facilities could cause pollution in soil media when recycled and should not be recycled for filler and cover materials.

        Load test is performed to obtain the data to evaluate load carrying capacity and check static & dynamic characteristics of a structure by estimating the real behavior of bridge due to loading the load. The subject facility in this paper is a bridge located on the spiilway of dam and traffic is relatively less than most brige. Considering the age and operation rules of a dam, however, load test and structure programming analysis were performed to check current conditions for structure under in-depth inspection and the results of that analysis are shown.

        Most of the domestic jetties of jacket structure were designed by SACS with design criteria based on “Design Standards for Harbour and Fishery Port”. In fact, companies of structural maintenance and Inspection fail to conduct proper safety assessment of jetties of jacket structure using SACS due to a manpower shortage. But instead, they are using MIDAS to conduct safety assessment of these jetties as an alternative to using SACS. The purpose of this study is to provide the rational way for MIDAS user to assess jetties of jacket structure using SACS.

Various safety assessment indices for evaluation structural safety and serviceability of bridges are discussed. A systematic approach is proposed to process the raw data for generating appropriate safety assessment indicators. The software for structural state evaluation includes (i) format conversion of raw data, (ii) noise filtering, (iii) generation of assessment index, (iv) state evaluation. Determination of the limit state included in the condition evaluation step is discussed and an example of the graphic user interface of the software is shown.

        Recently, various types of landslide occurs frequently in domestic and foreign. The purpose of this study is to evaluate dam safety due to landslide in dam area. In order to evaluate dam safety on overtopping which may be occur by landslide, the scales of landslide were calculated through empirical formula and results of field survey in valleys, and wave heights of impulse were computed through numerical simulation for each case. Dam safety assessment was performed by the numerical analysis.

        According to the available date sources, 1,814 bridges failures occurred over the past 210 years in the United States. The most frequent cause of bridges failures were attributed to external events such as: floods, collisions, scour, overloading and deterioration. Among these external events, Hydraulic factor caused the maximum number of bridges failures with 54% of the total failures. 20% of hydraulic factor was failed by scour. Thus, base on the result of reviewing design basis and safety assessment practices, criteria for determining safety assessment of bridge foundation scour is proposed. 25 bridges were reviewed for applicability to scour safety assessment of passing bridges in river channels.

        소규모 대댐과 저수지 시설물은 일상점검, 정기점검 등을 실시하도록 규정하고 있으나 시설물이 안정성을 파악하기 위한 점검 항목, 항목별 평가 방법이 정립되어 있지 못한 상태이다. 또한 관리 전문 인력의 부족, 점검 시 제도적 평가 기준의 미비 등으로 체계적인 유지관리가 이루어지지 못한 실정으로 규모가 큰 댐에 비해 저수지의 파괴 가능성이 높다고 할 수 있다. 실제 소규모 댐과 저수지는 규모가 큰 댐과 정밀안전진단 세부지침이 상이하여 기존의 평가기준을 적용하기엔 무리가 있으며, 소규모 댐과 저수지에 최적화된 안정성 평가 기법의 개발이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외 저수지 위험도 해석방안 조사 및 평가, 소규모 저수지 위험도 평가 및 DB 구축방안 수립, 수리수문학적/지반공학적/구조적 위험도 평가방안 마련, 저수지 붕괴로 인한 피해액 산정방법 검토에 대한 연구 방안을 수립하고자 한다. 최종적으로 저수지 위험도 평가 방안이 종합적으로 검토된 위험도 기반 저수지의 안전성 평가방안 수립하고 이를 활용한 저수지 재개발 우선순위 결정 모델을 개발하고자 한다.

        Although Korea coastal area has the increasing potential marine accident due to frequent ship’s encounter, increased vessel traffic and large vessel, there is no specific model to evaluate the navigating vessel’s risk considering the domestic traffic situation. The maritime transport environmental assessment is necessary due to the amended maritime traffic law. However, marine safety diagnosis is now carried out by foreign model. In this paper, therefore, we suggest a domestic traffic model reflecting the characteristics of korea coastal area and navigator’s risk as we named PARK(Potential Assessment of Risk) model. We can evaluate the subjective risk by establishing the model and model output into maritime risk exposure system. To evaluate this model’s effectiveness, we used ship handling simulation and applied, analyzed collision accident which occurred in korea coastal area. And also, we applied integrated to an ECDIS program for monitoring traffic risk of vessels with real time based AIS data and apply to evaluate traffic risk in busan harbor waterway. As a result, we could evaluate busan harbor waterway risk effectively.
